1Reservoir-induced landslides and risk control in Three Gorges Project on Yangtze River,China显示文摘The Three Gorges region in China was basically a geohazard-prone area prior to construction of the Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR).After construction of the TGR,the water level was raised from 70 m to 175 m above sea level(ASL).and annual reservoir regulation has caused a 30-m water level difference after impoundment of the TGR since September 2008.This paper first presents the spatiotemporal distribution of landslides in six periods of 175 m ASL trial impoundments from 2008 to 2014.The results show that the number of landslides sharply decreased from 273 at the initial stage to less than ten at the second stage of impoundment.Based on this,the reservoir-induced landslides in the TGR region can be roughly classified into five failure patterns,i.e.accumulation landslide,dip-slope landslide,reversed bedding landslide,rockfall,and karst breccia landslide.The accumulation landslides and dip-slope landslides account for more than 90%.Taking the Shuping accumulation landslide(a sliding mass volume of 20.7 × 10~6 m^3) in Zigui County and the Outang dip-slope landslide(a sliding mass volume of about 90 × 10~6 m^3) in Fengjie County as two typical cases,the mechanisms of reactivation of the two landslides are analyzed.The monitoring data and factor of safety(FOS) calculation show that the accumulation landslide is dominated by water level variation in the reservoir as most part of the mass body is under 175 m ASL,and the dip-slope landslide is controlled by the coupling effect of reservoir water level variation and precipitation as an extensive recharge area of rainfall from the rear and the front mass is below 175 m ASL.The characteristics of landslide-induced impulsive wave hazards after and before reservoir impoundment are studied,and the probability of occurrence of a landslide-induced impulsive wave hazard has increased in the reservoir region.Simulation results of the Ganjingzi landslide in Wushan County indicate the strong relationship between landslide-induced surge and water variation with high potential risk to shipping and residential areas.Regarding reservoir regulation in TGR when using a single index,i.e.1-d water level variation,water resources are not well utilized,and there is also potential risk of disasters since 2008.In addition,various indices such as 1-d.5-d,and 10-d water level variations are proposed for reservoir regulation.Finally,taking reservoir-induced landslides in June2015 for example,the feasibility of the optimizing indices of water level variations is verified.Yueping Yin Bolin Huang Wenpei Wang Yunjie Wei Xiaohan Ma Fei Ma Changjun Zhao 2016Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2016,8,5:45
2Progress of Air Pollution Control in China and Its Challenges and Opportunities in the Ecological Civilization Era显示文摘China’s past economic growth has substantially relied on fossil fuels,causing serious air pollution issues.Decoupling economic growth and pollution has become the focus in developing ecological civilization in China.We have analyzed the three-decade progress of air pollution controls in China,highlighting a strategic transformation from emission control toward air quality management.Emission control of sulfur dioxide(SO2)resolved the deteriorating acid rain issue in China in 2007.Since 2013,control actions on multiple precursors and sectors have targeted the reduction of the concentration of fine particulate matter(PM2.5),marking a transition to an air-quality-oriented strategy.Increasing ozone(O3)pollution further requires O3 and PM2.5 integrated control strategies with an emphasis on their complex photochemical interactions.Fundamental improvement of air quality in China,as a key indicator for the success of ecological civilization construction,demands the deep de-carbonization of China’s energy system as well as more synergistic pathways to address air pollution and global climate change simultaneously.Xi Lu Shaojun Zhang Jia Xing Yunjie Wang Wenhui Chen Dian Ding Ye Wu Shuxiao Wang Lei Duan Jiming Hao 2020Engineering2020,6,12:24
3Experimental study on scale inhibition performance of a green scale inhibitor polyaspartic acid显示文摘Static and dynamic experiments were carried out to validate scale inhibition performance of a green scale inhibitor-polyaspartic acid (PASP). From the static experiment, it was shown that below 60℃, polyaspartic acid is very effective in scale inhibition, with the scale inhibition ratio exceeding 90% with only 3 mg/L PASP for the 600 mg/L hardness solution. For a higher hardness solution of 800 mg/L, the scale inhibition ratio can also reach 90% with 6 and 12 mg/L PASP at 30 and 60℃respectively. The SEM photographs of CaCO3 crystals indicate that the crystal structure transforms from a compact stick-shape to a loose shape so that the scale can be washed away easily instead of being deposited on the heat transfer surface. 4热处理前后非脱气交联聚乙烯的介电性能和机械性能分析(英文)显示文摘In order to investigate the influence of cross-linking byproducts on dielectric and mechanical properties of 110k V cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE)cable insulation,we selected the undegassed XLPE cable insulation which is heated at 70℃in laboratory for different duration in terms of heating time,to prepare XLPE samples with different mass loss ratio.We carried out Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)test,electric breakdown test at 50 Hz,pulsed electro-acoustic(PEA)measurement and tensile test for XLPE samples.In FTIR spectrogram,the characteristic absorption peaks were observed to appear at 1 680 cm-1 and 1 600 cm-1,which can be related to two kinds of cross-linking byproducts includingα-methylstyrene and acetophenone.The intensity of these absorption peaks decreases with the increase of mass loss ratio.It can be proposed that the mass loss of XLPE samples in the process of thermal treatment is caused by volatiliztion ofα-methylstyrene and acetophenone.Therefore,the change of mass loss ratio can reflect the change of content ofα-methylstyrene and acetophenone in the process of thermal treatment.The results of electric breakdown test showed that the reduction ofα-methylstyrene and acetophenone leads to the enhancement of electric breakdown strength at 50 Hz.PEA measurement results showed that heterocharge is produced and accumulated when cross-linking byproducts are present,whereas no heterocharge is found whenα-methylstyrene and acetophenone are absent.The formation of heterocharge is attributed to ionization of cross-linking byproducts under electric stress.Based on these results,it can be suggested that when AC electric field is applied on XLPE samples,the occurrence of ionization of cross-linking byproducts results in the increase of free carriers in XLPE insulation,leading to a lower electric breakdown strength.The results of tensile test showed that tensile strength is proportional to the mass loss ratio of XLPE samples,which suggests that cross-linking byproducts can reduce the tensile strength of XLPE insulation.LI Huan LI Jianying WANG Qimeng ZHOU Yunjie LI Honglei 2015高电压技术2015,41,4:11

6Upregulation of Nogo receptor expression induces apoptosis of retinal ganglion cells in diabetic rats显示文摘The Nogo receptor is an essential factor for neuronal apoptosis, but the changes in Nogo receptor expression in the retina and the effects of the Nogo receptor on retinal ganglion cell apoptosis in diabetes mellitus remain unclear. We found that Nogo receptor expression was mainly visible in retinal ganglion cells of a rat model of diabetes mellitus induced by streptozotocin. At 12 weeks after onset of diabetes mellitus, Nogo receptor and Rho kinase expression significantly increased in the retina, and retinal ganglion cell apoptosis was apparent. When RNA interference was used to suppress Nogo receptor expression in rat retina, Rho kinase expression was obviously inhibited, and retinal ganglion cell apoptosis was evidently reduced in rats with diabetes mellitus. 7Habitat-induced reciprocal transformation in the root phenotype of Oriental ginseng is associated with alteration in DNA methylation显示文摘Oriental ginseng is an important medicinal plant that grows in 2 major forms or ecotypes,wild and domesticated.Each form differs conspicuously in root phenotype,but can be converted from one type to another by habitat.Here we show that the habi tat-induced transformation of ginseng root phenotype was accompanied by alteration in cytosine methylation at a large number of 5′-CCGG-3′sites detected by the methylation-sensitive polymorphism(MSAP)marker.The collective CG and CHG methylation levels of all 4 landraces of the domesticated form were significantly lower than those of the wild form.Interestingly,artificially transplanted ginseng plants recreated in both directions the methylation levels(at least in CHG)of their natural counterparts.The methylation differences between the 2 ginseng ecotypes were validated at 2 isolated MSAP loci bearing homology to a 5S rRNA gene or a copia retrotransposon.Our results implicate a link between epigenetic variation and habitat-induced phenotypic flexibility in Oriental ginseng.NGEZAHAYO Frederic WANG XiaoLi YU XiaoMing JIANG LiLi CHU YunJie SHEN BaiHua YAN ZhongKai LIU Bao 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,16:7
8Vertical distribution characteristics of soil organic carbon content in Caohai wetland ecosystem of Guizhou plateau, China显示文摘We selected four kinds of land use types from Caohai wetlands of Guizhou plateau(a total number of 32 soil profiles) to study the distribution characteristics of organic carbon content in soil. With different ways of land use, the organic carbon content of soil profiles and organic carbon density show the tendency of decreasing firstly and then increasing from top to bottom. With the increase of depth, the vertical difference becomes smaller first and then starts increasing. Land reclamation reduces the soil organic carbon content and density, changing its distribution structure in topsoil. The average content of organic carbon in Caohai wetlands are as follows: lake bed silt [ marsh wetland [ farmland [ woodland, the average organic carbon content of lake bed silt, marsh wetland,farmland and woodland are 16.40, 2.94, 1.81 and 1.08 %,respectively. 10Effect of Direct Quenching and Partitioning Treatment on Mechanical Properties of a Hot Rolled Strip Steel显示文摘Three different online heat treatment processes were designed to study the effects on the mechanical properties of a 0.19C-1.6Si-1.6Mn(wt%) hot rolled strip steel.The microstructures were characterized by means of SEM,TEM,EPMA,and XRD.The mechanical properties were estimated by tensile tests.Results showed that a satisfying combination of strength and ductility could be obtained through the ferrite relaxation and direct quenching and partitioning process.Analysis was also focused on this process.The microstructure contained proeutectoid ferrite grains,martensite packets and blocky or interlath retained austenite,and also contained carbide-free bainite in the case of relatively high quench temperatures.The retained austenite fraction was increased through proeutectoid ferrite and partial bainite transformation,while the tensile strength was also consequently decreased.The most of retained austenite transformed to ferrite under deformation and the elongation was obviously improved.康健 wang chao li yunjie 袁国 wang guodong 2016Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2016,31,1:6

13Engineering an enthesis-like graft for rotator cuff repair:An approach to fabricate highly biomimetic scaffold capable of zone-specifically releasing stem cell differentiation inducers显示文摘Rotator cuff(RC)attaches to humerus across a triphasic yet continuous tissue zones(bone-fibrocartilage-tendon),termed“enthesis”.Regrettably,rapid and functional enthesis regeneration is challenging after RC tear.The existing grafts bioengineered for RC repair are insufficient,as they were engineered by a scaffold that did not mimic normal enthesis in morphology,composition,and tensile property,meanwhile cannot simultaneously stimulate the formation of bone-fibrocartilage-tendon tissues.Herein,an optimized decellularization approach based on a vacuum aspiration device(VAD)was developed to fabricate a book-shaped decellularized enthesis matrix(O-BDEM).Then,three recombinant growth factors(CBP-GFs)capable of binding collagen were synthesized by fusing a collagen-binding peptide(CBP)into the N-terminal of BMP-2,TGF-β3,or GDF-7,and zone-specifically tethered to the collagen of O-BDEM to fabricate a novel scaffold(CBP-GFs/O-BDEM)satisfying the above-mentioned requirements.After ensuring the low immunogenicity of CBP-GFs/O-BDEM by a novel single-cell mass cytometry in a mouse model,we interleaved urine-derived stem cell-sheets into this CBP-GFs/O-BDEM to bioengineer an enthesis-like graft.Its high-performance on regenerating enthesis was determined in a canine model.These findings indicate this CBP-GFs/O-BDEM may be an excellent scaffold for constructing enthesis-like graft to patch large/massive RC tears,and provide breakthroughs in fabricating graded interfacial tissue.Can Chen Qiang Shi Muzhi Li Yang Chen Tao Zhang Yan Xu Yunjie Liao Shulin Ding Zhanwen Wang Xing Li Chunfeng Zhao Lunquan Sun Jianzhong Hu Hongbin Lu 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,10:4
14Probability estimation based on grey system theory for simulation evaluation显示文摘In the evaluation of some simulation systems, only small samples data are gotten due to the limited conditions. In allusion to the evaluation problem of small sample data, an interval estimation approach with the improved grey confidence degree is proposed.On the basis of the definition of grey distance, three kinds of definition of the grey weight for every sample element in grey estimated value are put forward, and then the improved grey confidence degree is designed. In accordance with the new concept, the grey interval estimation for small sample data is deduced. Furthermore,the bootstrap method is applied for more accurate grey confidence interval. Through resampling of the bootstrap, numerous small samples with the corresponding confidence intervals can be obtained. Then the final confidence interval is calculated from the union of these grey confidence intervals. In the end, the simulation system evaluation using the proposed method is conducted. 15Design and application of an Electric Tail Rotor Drive Control(ETRDC) for helicopters with performance tests显示文摘With the development of electric helicopters' motor technology and the widespread use of electric drive rotors, more aircraft use electric rotors to provide thrust and directional control.For a helicopter tail rotor, the wake of the main rotor influences the tail rotor's inflow and wake.In the procedure of controlling, crosswind will also cause changes to the tail disk load. This paper describes requirements and design principles of an electric motor drive and variable pitch tail rotor system. A particular spoke-type architecture of the motor is designed, and the performance of blades is analyzed by the CFD method. The demand for simplicity of moving parts and strict constraints on the weight of a helicopter makes the design of electrical and mechanical components challenging. Different solutions have been investigated to propose an effective alternative to the mechanical actuation system. A test platform is constructed which can collect the dynamic response of the thrust control. 19Clustering of Virtual Network Function Instances Oriented to Compatibility in 5G Network显示文摘Network functions virtualization(NFV) increases network flexibility and scalability by virtualizing network functions running on the general servers and opens the network innovations by outsourcing VNF instances in 5G networks.However,it leads to the incompatibility issue among different VNF instances,which makes operators difficult to determine which VNF instances to select for Service Function Chains(SFCs).In this paper,we divide VNF instances with high compatibility into clusters used for combining VNF instances in 5G networks.Firstly,we define compatibility among different VNF instances.Secondly,aiming to maximize compatibility of each cluster,we propose a novel hypergraph clustering model that divides the VNF instances into multiple clusters.Then,the hypergraph clustering model is transformed to an evolutionary game.Thus,the cluster establishing is transformed to the game equilibrium searching.Furthermore,we propose a discrete time high order replicator dynamic algorithm to find the game equilibrium.Finally,the simulation results show that the proposed approach can improve the quality of SFCs.Xiaolei Wang Lijun Xie Zhiqiang Qin Yunjie Chen 2017China Communications2017,14,12:2
20Impact of the RMB Joining in the SDR Basket on Its Internationalization from the Perspective of Risk Spillover显示文摘For evaluating the influence of the Chinese renminbi(RMB) joining in the special drawing right(SDR) basket on RMB's internationalization, the authors systemically study the risk spillover networks and examine the dynamic relationship of exchange rates among the SDR currencies including the US dollar(USD), European Union euro(EUR), Japanese yen(JPY) and British pound(GBP).The empirical results demonstrate that the USD takes a dominant position and holds the biggest risk spillover to other currencies, and the RMB's inclusion to the SDR basket makes the risk spillover to get average, giving rise to the SDR currency system more stable to a certain degree. The inclusion of the RMB in the SDR not only can reduce the systematic risk of the SDR, but also has a certain impact on the international exchange rate markets.
