| 1 | Evaluating the flavor and divergent bacterial communities in corn-based zha-chili显示文摘Zha-chili is a naturally fermented traditional food from central southern China.Corn-based zha-chili is one of the most popular varieties with a special flavor.To investigate its distinct microbiome,corn-based zha-chili samples were collected and investigated using both high-throughput sequencing and culture-dependent method.Subsequently,E-nose and E-tongue sensors were used to evaluate the overall sensory profile.We found that the bacterial communities present in zha-chili samples from the two regions were significantly different(P<0.05).Companilactobacillus,Lactiplantibacillus,and Corynebacterium were found to be the dominant genera common to samples from both regions.Among these,lactic acid bacteria were the most dominant.Biomarker genera were Ligilactobacillus,Lactobacillus,and Levilactobacillus(Huaihua)and Pantoea,Lactiplantibacillus,and Weissella(Songtao).Using culture-dependent methods,the most dominant genus Companilactobacillus was found to comprise Companilactobacillus alimentarius and Companilactobacillus futsaii.The sensory profile was also characterized.This indicated that zha-chili from the two regions could be discriminated by sourness and aftertaste-B(E-taste),and W1C,W3C,W5C,W1S,W2S,W5S,and W2W(E-nose).Correlation analysis suggested that the dominant genera might not affect the aroma quality of corn-based zha-chili,whereas they were related to taste quality.Levilactobacillus and Ligilactobacillus were positively correlated with the characteristic taste indices and negatively correlated with the off-flavor indices.Another dominant genus,Kocuria was positively correlated with umami and richness(P<0.05).Our results could provide a basis for supporting zha-chili production and help the isolation of appropriate lactic acid bacteria from corn-based zha-chili. | Zhuang Guo Yurong Wang Fanshu Xiang Yun Dong Qiangchuan Hou Zhendong Zhang | 2022 | Food Bioscience2022,46,2: | 6 |
| 2 | Physicochemical and tribological properties of gemini-type halogen-free dicationic ionic liquids显示文摘A series of new halogen-free dicationic ionic liquids(ILs)with different alkyl chain lengths were prepared,and the relationship between the alkyl chain length,physicochemical and tribological properties of ILs,and their role as neat lubricant for steel–steel friction pairs,was investigated.Evaluation of stability during hydrolysis and copper strip corrosion test results show that synthetic ILs are stable and not corrosive to metal contacts,due to the halogen-free anions.The friction and wear test results indicate that ILs with long alkyl chains have excellent friction-reducing and anti-wear properties,especially at high temperatures.Based on the surface three-dimensional(3D)profiles,electrical contact resistance,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),and the X-ray photoelectron spectrometry(XPS)analysis of the worn surfaces of steel discs,we can conclude that the efficiency of ILs is due to the formation of high quality tribofilms that consist of both tribochemical reaction and ordered absorption films. | Qiangliang YU Chaoyang ZHANG Rui DONG Yijun SHI Yurong WANG Yanyan BAI Jiaying ZHANG Meirong CAI Feng ZHOU Weimin LIU | 2021 | Friction2021,9,2: | 3 |
| 3 | Effect of impregnation methods on sorbents made from lignite for desulfurization at middle temperature显示文摘With lignite after vacuum drying as the raw material,a series of Zn-based sorbents were prepared by static impregnation,ultrasonic-assisted impregnation,bubbling-assisted impregnation and high-pressure impregnation.The physical properties and the desulfurization performances of Zn-based sorbents were studied systematically by XRD,BET,AAS characterization techniques and the fixed-bed desulfurization evaluation apparatus.The sorbents obtained by high-pressure impregnation method have a larger specific surface area,pore volume and pore diameter comparing with other methods,which is conducive to the sulfidation reaction of hydrogen sulfide gas in the sorbent.The effects of pressure during the high-pressure impregnation and concentration of Zn(NO3)2 precursor solution on the sorbents properties and desulfurization behavior were investigated.The higher the impregnation pressure and the concentration of impregnation solution are,the greater the amount of the active components are uploaded.However,overhigh impregnation pressure can cause collapse and blocking of the carrier pore.The optimal operating condition of high-pressure impregnation method for preparing the sorbents was the impregnation pressure of 20 atm and the solution concentration of 41%.Under that condition,the sorbent had the best desulfurization ability with a sulfur capacity of 13.94 gS/100 gsorbent and a breakthrough time of 54 h.Its desulfurization precision and efficiency of removing H2S before sorbent breakthrough from the middle temperature gases of 400℃ can reach<5 ppm and>99%,respectively.Sorbents could be regenerated under the condition of 1 vol%O2,20 vol% H2O,0.5 vol% NH3,and N2balance gas.The regenerated sorbent could be used for repeated absorption of H2S with a slight decrease in desulfurization effect. | Yurong Dong Xiurong Ren Meijun Wang Qiang He Liping Chang Weiren Bao | 2013 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,5: | 3 |

| 9 | High-performance non-Fermi-liquid metallic thermoelectric materials显示文摘Searching for high-performance thermoelectric(TE)materials in the paradigm of narrow-bandgap semiconductors is hampered by a bottleneck.Here we report on the discovery of metallic compounds,TiFe_(x)Cu_(2x−1)Sb and TiFe1.33Sb,showing the thermopower exceeding many TE semiconductors and the dimensionless figure of merits zTs comparable with the state-of-the-art TE materials.A quasi-linear temperature(T)dependent electrical resistivity in 2–700 K and the logarithmic T-dependent electronic specific heat at low temperature coexist with the high thermopower,highlighting the strong intercoupling of the non-Fermi-liquid(NFL)quantum critical behavior of electrons with TE transports.Electronic structure analysis reveals a competition between the antiferromagnetic(AFM)ordering and Kondo-like spin compensation as well as a parallel two-channel Kondo effect.The T-dependent magnetic susceptibility agrees with the quantum critical scenario of strong local correlation.Our work demonstrates the correlation among high TE performance,NFL quantum criticality,and magnetic fluctuation,which opens up directions for future research. | Zirui Dong Yubo Zhang Jun Luo Ying Jiang Zhiyang Yu Nan Zhao Liusuo Wu Yurong Ruan Fang Zhang Kai Guo Jiye Zhang Wenqing Zhang | 2023 | npj Computational Materials2023,,1: | 0 |
