| 1 | CAS FGOALS-f3-L Model Datasets for CMIP6 Historical Atmospheric Model Intercomparison Project Simulation显示文摘The outputs of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) Flexible Global Ocean–Atmosphere–Land System(FGOALS-f3-L) model for the baseline experiment of the Atmospheric Model Intercomparison Project simulation in the Diagnostic,Evaluation and Characterization of Klima common experiments of phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP6) are described in this paper. The CAS FGOALS-f3-L model, experiment settings, and outputs are all given. In total,there are three ensemble experiments over the period 1979–2014, which are performed with different initial states. The model outputs contain a total of 37 variables and include the required three-hourly mean, six-hourly transient, daily and monthly mean datasets. The baseline performances of the model are validated at different time scales. The preliminary evaluation suggests that the CAS FGOALS-f3-L model can capture the basic patterns of atmospheric circulation and precipitation well, including the propagation of the Madden–Julian Oscillation, activities of tropical cyclones, and the characterization of extreme precipitation. | 3 | An Epidemic of Hepatitis A--Liaoning Province,2020显示文摘What is already known about this topic?Hepatitis A(HA)is caused by acute hepatitis A virus(HAV)infection and was once very common in China.Following the 2008 introduction of the HA vaccine into the national Expanded Program on Immunization(EPI),the incidence of reported HA in China decreased markedly.However,HA epidemics still occur in Liaoning Province every 3–5 years,although with far fewer cases than in the pre-HA-vaccination era.What is added by this report?Between January 1,2020 and March 18,2020,the number of reported cases of HA in Dalian and Dandong cities of Liaoning Province increased significantly compared with the same period in previous years.All cases were sporadic,and cases were seen in nearly every township.The increase in HA occurred one month after local fresh seafood became available with most cases being among adults.A casecontrol study showed that consuming raw or undercooked seafood,clams,snapping shrimp,and oysters were significantly associated with the increase in HA.What are the implications for public health practices?Strengthening health education for residents to avoid consumption of raw seafood and encouraging HAV vaccination of adults aged 20 to 54 years are important to prevent periodic HAV endemic outbreaks.Further multisectoral cooperation must be emphasized on HA surveillance in areas with a high prevalence of HA. | Jing Sun Yuanqiu Li Xing Fang Yan Wang Yinan Han Yang Liu Jingyuan Cao Wenting Zhou Hui Zheng Wenqing Yao | 2020 | China CDC weekly2020,2,30: | 7 |

| 5 | C:N:P stoichiometry of Ericaceae species in shrubland biomes across Southern China:influences of climate,soil and species identity显示文摘Aims Carbon(C),nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)stoichiometry strongly affect functions and nutrient cycling within ecosystems.However,the related researches in shrubs were very limited.In this study,we aimed to inves-tigate leaf stoichiometry and its driving factors in shrubs,and whether stoichiometry significantly differs among closely related species.Methods We analyzed leaf C,N and P concentrations and their ratios in 32 species of Ericaceae from 161 sites across southern China.We examined the relationships of leaf stoichiometry with environmen-tal variables using linear regressions,and quantified the interactive and independent effects of climate,soil and species on foliar stoi-chiometry using general linear models(GLM).Important Findings The foliar C,N and P contents of Ericaceae were 484.66,14.44 and 1.06 mg g−1,respectively.Leaf C,N and P concentrations and their ratios in Ericaceae were significantly related with latitude and altitude,except the N:P insignificantly correlated with latitude.Climate(mean annual temperature and precipitation)and soil properties(soil C,N and P and bulk density)were significantly influenced element stoichiom-etry.The GLM analysis showed that soil exerted a greater direct effect on leaf stoichiometry than climate did,and climate affected leaf traits mainly via indirect ways.Further,soil properties had stronger influ-ences on leaf P than on leaf C and N.Among all independent factors examined,we found species accounted for the largest proportion of the variation in foliar stoichiometry.These results suggest that species can largely influence foliar stoichiometry,even at a lower taxonomic level. | Qiang Zhang Qing Liu Huajun Yin Chunzhang Zhao Lin Zhang Guoying Zhou Chunying Yin Zhijun Lu Gaoming Xiong Yuelin Li Jiaxiang Li Wenting Xu Zhiyao Tang Zongqiang Xie | 2019 | Journal of Plant Ecology2019,12,2: | 4 |

| 7 | Profiles and Source Apportionment of Nonmethane Volatile Organic Compounds in Winter and Summer in Xi’an, China, based on the Hybrid Environmental Receptor Model显示文摘Summer and winter campaigns for the chemical compositions and sources of nonmethane hydrocarbons(NMHCs)and oxygenated volatile organic compounds(OVOCs)were conducted in Xi’an.Data from 57 photochemical assessment monitoring stations for NMHCs and 20 OVOC species were analyzed.Significant seasonal differences were noted for total VOC(TVOC,NMHCs and OVOCs)concentrations and compositions.The campaign-average TVOC concentrations in winter(85.3±60.6 ppbv)were almost twice those in summer(47.2±31.6 ppbv).Alkanes and OVOCs were the most abundant category in winter and summer,respectively.NMHCs,but not OVOCs,had significantly higher levels on weekends than on weekdays.Total ozone formation potential was higher in summer than in winter(by 50%)because of the high concentrations of alkenes(particularly isoprene),high temperature,and high solar radiation levels in summer.The Hybrid Environmental Receptor Model(HERM)was used to conduct source apportionment for atmospheric TVOCs in winter and summer,with excellent accuracy.HERM demonstrated its suitability in a situation where only partial source profile data were available.The HERM results indicated significantly different seasonal source contributions to TVOCs in Xi’an.In particular,coal and biomass burning had contributions greater than half in winter(53.4%),whereas traffic sources were prevalent in summer(53.1%).This study’s results highlight the need for targeted and adjustable VOC control measures that account for seasonal differences in Xi’an;such measures should target not only the severe problem with VOC pollution but also the problem of consequent secondary pollution(e.g.,from ozone and secondary organic aerosols). | Jian SUN Zhenxing SHEN Yue ZHANG Wenting DAI Kun HE Hongmei XU Zhou ZHANG Long CUI Xuxiang LI Yu HUANG Junji CAO | 2021 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,1: | 2 |
| 8 | Performance Study Based on Inner Flow Field Numerical Simulation of Magnetic Drive Pumps with Different Rotate Speeds显示文摘Magnetic drive pump has gotten great achievement and has been widely used in some special fields.Currently,the researches on magnetic drive pump have focused on hydraulic design,bearing,axial force in China,and a new magnetic drive pump with low flow and high head have been developed overseas.However,low efficiency and large size are the common disadvantages for the magnetic drive pump.In order to study the performance of high-speed magnetic drive pump,FLUENT was used to simulate the inner flow field of magnetic drive pumps with different rotate speeds,and get velocity and pressure distributions of inner flow field.According to analysis the changes of velocity and pressure to ensure the stable operation of pump and avoid cavitation.Based on the analysis of velocity and pressure,this paper presents the pump efficiency of magnetic drive pumps with different rotated speeds by calculating the power loss in impeller and volute,hydraulic loss,volumetric loss,mechanical loss and discussing the different reasons of power loss between the magnetic drive pumps with different rotated speeds.In addition,the magnetic drive pumps were tested in a closed testing system.Pressure sensors were set in inlet and outlet of magnetic drive pumps to get the pressure and the head,while the pump efficiency could be got by calculating the power loss between the input power and the outlet power.The results of simulation and test were similar,which shows that the method of simulation is feasible.The proposed research provides the instruction to design high-speed magnetic drive pump. | KONG Fanyu SHEN Xiaokai WANG Wenting ZHOU Shuiqing | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,1: | 2 |
| 9 | Lycium barbarum polysaccharides ameliorate canine acute liver injury by reducing oxidative stress,protecting mitochondrial function,and regulating metabolic pathways显示文摘The development of acute liver injury can result in liver cirrhosis,liver failure,and even liver cancer,yet there is currently no effective therapy for it.The purpose of this study was to investigate the protective effect and therapeutic mechanism of Lycium barbarum polysaccharides(LBPs)on acute liver injury induced by carbon tetrachloride(CCl_(4)).To create a model of acute liver injury,experimental canines received an intraperitoneal injection of 1 mL/kg of CCl_(4)solution.The experimental canines in the therapy group were then fed LBPs(20 mg/kg).CCl_(4)-induced liver structural damage,excessive fibrosis,and reduced mitochondrial density were all improved by LBPs,according to microstructure data.By suppressing Kelch-like epichlorohydrin(ECH)-associated protein 1(Keap1),promoting the production of sequestosome 1(SQSTM1)/p62,nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2),and phaseⅡdetoxification genes and proteins downstream of Nrf2,and restoring the activity of anti-oxidant enzymes like catalase(CAT),LBPs can restore and increase the antioxidant capacity of liver.To lessen mitochondrial damage,LBPs can also enhance mitochondrial respiration,raise tissue adenosine triphosphate(ATP)levels,and reactivate the respiratory chain complexes I–V.According to serum metabolomics,the therapeutic impact of LBPs on acute liver damage is accomplished mostly by controlling the pathways to lipid metabolism.9-Hydroxyoctadecadienoic acid(9-HODE),lysophosphatidylcholine(Lyso PC/LPC),and phosphatidylethanolamine(PE)may be potential indicators of acute liver injury.This study confirmed that LBPs,an effective hepatoprotective drug,may cure acute liver injury by lowering oxidative stress,repairing mitochondrial damage,and regulating metabolic pathways. | JIANJIA HUANG YUMAN BAI WENTING XIE RONGMEI WANG WENYUE QIU SHUILIAN ZHOU ZHAOXIN TANG JIANZHAO LIAO RONGSHENG SU | 2023 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,2: | 2 |

| 18 | Optimization of heat shield for single silicon crystal growth by using numerical simulation显示文摘In integrated circuit-grade single silicon Czochralski growth, the position and material of heat shield are main parameters affecting the heat exchange and crystal growth condition. By optimizing the above parameters, we attempted to increase the growth rate and crystal quality. Numerical simulation proved to verify the results before and after optimization. | 20 | Design and characterization of metallic glass/graphene multilayer with excellent nanowear properties显示文摘The excellent properties of metallic glass(MG)films make them perfect candidates for the use in miniature systems and tools.However,their high coefficients of friction(COFs)and poor wear resistance considerably limit their long-term performance in nanoscale contact.We report the fabrication of a MG/graphene multilayer by the repeated deposition of Cu_(50)Zr_(50) MG with alternating layers of graphene.The microstructure of the multilayer was characterized by the transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Its mechanical and nanotribological properties were studied by nanoindentation and nanoscratch tests,respectively.A molecular dynamics(MD)simulation revealed that the addition of graphene endowed the MG with superelastic recovery,which reduced friction during nanoscratching.In comparison with the monolithic MG film,the multilayer exhibited improved wear resistance and a low COF in repeated nanowear tests owing to the enhanced mechanical properties and lubricating effect caused by the graphene layer.This work is expected to motivate the design of other novel MG films with excellent nanowear properties for engineering applications. | Qing ZHOU Dawei LUO Dongpeng HUA Wenting YE Shuo LI Qiguang ZOU Ziqiang CHEN Haifeng WANG | 2022 | Friction2022,10,11: | 1 |
