1Effect of different sources and levels of iron in the diet of sows on iron status in neonatal pigs显示文摘This study was conducted to determine the effects of maternal dietary supplementation of ferrous glycine chelate(Fe-Gly) and ferrous sulfate monohydrate(FeSO_4·H_2O) on the relative organ weight, tissue iron contents, red blood cells(RBC), hemoglobin concentration(HGB) and hematocrit(HCT) in blood, as well as ferritin(Fn), serum iron(SI), and total iron binding capacity(TIBC) in serum of newborn piglets.Forty-five sows(Landrace × Large white, mean parity 3 to 4, no significant differences in BW) were randomly allotted to 9 treatments(n=5 sows/treatment): control(basal diet with no Fe supplementation), the basal diet supplemented with 50, 80, 110 or 140 mg Fe/kg as Fe-Gly, and the basal diet supplemented with 50, 80, 110 or 140 mg Fe/kg as FeSO_4·H_2O.The neonatal piglets(n=45) were used to determine the relative organ weight, tissue iron contents and blood biochemical indices.Compared with the control, the relative weight of spleen and kidney were significantly increased(P < 0.05) in the Fe-Gly groups.The iron contents in liver,spleen, kidney and femur were also found increased(P < 0.05) in the Fe-Gly groups.The RBC(d 1 and 21),HGB(d 1 and 21) and HCT(d 1 and 21) in blood and Fn(d 1) and SI(d 1 and 21) significantly increased(P < 0.05), but the TIBC(d 1 and 21) in serum decreased(P < 0.05) in the Fe-Gly groups.Moreover, the kidney relative weight, iron content in liver, spleen, kidney and femur, RBC(d 1) and HGB(d 21) in blood, and SI(d 1)in the Fe-Gly groups increased(P < 0.05) compared with the FeSO_4·H_2O treatment.Linear and quadratic responses of the kidney relative weight, the iron content in liver, spleen, kidney and femur, RBC(d 1 and 21),HGB(d 1 and 21) and HCT(d 1 and 21) in whole blood, SI(d 1) and TIBC(d 1 and 21) in the Fe-Gly groups were observed(P < 0.05).Linear responses of Fn(d 1 and 21) and SI(d 21) in the Fe-Gly groups, and spleen relative weight, HCT(d 1), Fn(d 1) and TIBC(d 1 and 21) in the FeSO_4·H_2O groups were observed(P < 0.05).These finding suggest that Fe-Gly supplemented at the level of 110 mg/kg in the diet of sows in this experiment is superior to other forms of supplementation, based on HGB concentration, the relative organ weight, tissue iron contents and blood biochemical indices of piglets.Yan Li Weiren Yang Donghua Dong Shuzhen Jiang Zaibin Yang Yuxi Wang 2018Animal Nutrition2018,,2:11
2Effects of purified zearalenone on selected immunological and histopathologic measurements of spleen in post-weanling gilts显示文摘The present study was aimed at investigating the adverse effects of dietary zearalenone(ZEA) on the lymphocyte proliferation rate(LPR), interleukin-2(IL-2), mRNA expressions of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and histopathologic changes of spleen in post-weanling gilts. A total of 20 crossbred piglets(Yorkshire × Landrace × Duroc) with an initial BW of 10.36 ± 1.21 kg(21 d of age) were used in the study.Piglets were fed a basal diet with an addition of 0.1.1,2.0, or 3.2 mg/kg purified ZEA for 18 d ad libitum.The results showed that LPR and IL-2 production of spleen decreased linearly(P < 0.05) as dietary ZEA increased. Splenic mRNA expressions of interleukin-1β(IL-1β) and interleukin-6(IL-6) were linearly upregulated(P < 0.05) as dietary ZEA increased. On the contrary, linear down-regulation(P<0.05) of mRNA expression of interferon-γ(IFN-γ) was observed as dietary ZEA increased. Swelling splenocyte in1.1 mg/kg ZEA treatments, atrophy of white pulp and swelling of red pulp in 2.0 and 3.2 mg/kg ZEA treatments were observed. 3Effects of purified zearalenone on selected immunological measurements of blood in post-weaning gilts显示文摘Zearalenone(ZEA), an estrogenic mycotoxin, is produced mainly by Fusarium fungi. Previous studies have indicated that acute ZEA exposure induced various damages in different species; however, its transparent hematotoxicity in female piglets at dietary levels of 1.1 to 3.2 mg/kg has not been shown. The present study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary ZEA(1.1—3.2 mg/kg) on hematology, T lymphocyte subset, immunoglobulin, antibody titer, lymphocyte proliferation rate(LPR), and interleukin-2(IL-2) in peripheral blood of post-weaning gilts. A total of 20 female piglets(Landrace × Yorkshire × Duroc),weaned at 42 d with an average body weight of 10.36 ± 1.21 kg were used in the study. Female piglets were kept in a temperature controlled room, divided into four treatments, and fed a diet based on corn-soybean meal-fishmeal-whey, with an addition of 0, 1.1, 2.0, or3.2 mg/kg purified ZEA for 18 d ad libitum. Feed intake and refusal were measured daily and individual pigs were weighed weekly. Blood and serum samples were collected for selected immunological measurements. Female piglets fed different levels of dietary ZEA grew similarly with no difference in feed intake. Hematological values including leukocytes, platelets, lymphocytes, hematocrit, and mean corpuscular hemoglobin(MCH) decreased linearly(P < 0.05) as dietary ZEA increased. Female piglets fed diets containing 2.0 mg/kg ZEA or greater showed significantly decreased CD4+CD8+, CD4+, and CD4+/CD8^+ in comparison to the control(P < 0.05), whereas CD8^+ was significantly increased(P = 0.026) in the gilts which were fed the diet containing 3.2 mg/kg ZEA. Serum immunoglobulin G(IgG) and the antibody titer on d 18 were reduced linearly as dietary ZEA levels increased(P < 0.001). Linear decrease in LPR was observed(P < 0.05). Female piglets fed diets containing 2.0 mg/kg ZEA or more showed significantly decreased IL-2 in comparison to the control(P < 0.05). 4Flow pattern identification in oil wells by electromagnetic image logging显示文摘Petroleum production logging needs to determine the interpretation models first and flow pattern identification is the foundation, but traditional flow pattern identification methods have some limitations. In this paper, a new method of flow pattern identification in oil wells by electromagnetic image logging is proposed. First, the characteristics of gas-water and oil-water flow patterns in horizontal and vertical wellbores are picked up. Then, the continuous variation of the two phase flow pattern in the vertical and horizontal pipe space is discretized into continuous fluid distribution models in the pipeline section. Second, the electromagnetic flow image measurement responses of all the eight fluid distribution models are simulated and the characteristic vector of each response is analyzed in order to distinguish the fluid distribution models. Third, the time domain changes of the fluid distribution models in the pipeline section are used to identify the flow pattern. Finally, flow simulation experiments using electromagnetic flow image logging are operated and the experimental and simulated data are compared. 14Fault component integrated impedance-based pilot protection scheme for EHV/UHV transmission line with thyristor controlled series capacitor(TCSC) and controllable shunt reactor(CSR)显示文摘This paper analyzes the fundamental frequency impedance characteristic of a thyristor controlled series capacitor(TCSC) and presents a novel transmission line pilot protection scheme based on fault component integrated impedance(FCII) calculated for a transmission line with TCSC and controllable shunt reactor(CSR).The FCII is defined as the ratio of the sum of the fault component voltage phasors of a transmission line with TCSC and CSR to the sum of the fault component current phasors where all the phasors are determined at both line's terminals.It can be used to distinguish internal faults occurring on the line from external ones.If the fault is an external one the FCII reflects the line's capacitive impedance and has large value.If the fault is an internal one on the line the FCII reflects the impedance of the equivalent system and the line and is relatively small.The new pilot protection scheme can be easily set and has the fault phase selection ability and also it is not affected by the capacitive current and the fault transition resistance.It is not sensitive to compensation level and dynamics of TCSC and CSR.The effectiveness of the new scheme is validated against data obtained in ATP simulations and Northwest China 750 kV Project.HE ShiEn SUONAN JaLe KANG XiaoNing JIAO ZaiBin 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,2:1

17Distribution characteristics of plastic film residue in long-term mulched farmland soil显示文摘Soil contamination from film debris following the prolonged application of mulching film has emerged as a worldwide concern.However,the extent that mulching films contribute to soil microplastics,and the spatial distribution of soil contamination from film debris remain unclear.In this study,the cotton field in Xinjiang(China),which underwent film mulching for a prolonged period of 5−30 years,was selected as the research location.A total of 360 soil samples were collected,aiming to study the spatial distribution characteristics of mulching film debris pollution.The samples were extracted using the density flotation method combined with stereomicroscopic;the source,composition,abundance,and distribution characteristics of soil MPs were identified by the scanning electron microscopic,and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic analyses.In soil mulched for a 30 year period,the abundance of microplastics across the studied soil depth(0−60 cm)was 78.51±2.57 n/(100 g).Theμ-FTIR analyses revealed that the composition of the microplastics matched that of polyethylene materials.Therefore,plastic mulching could be inferred as a major contributor to microplastic pollution in agricultural lands.Overall,it is necessary to study the distribution characteristics of plastic film remaining for further study of plastic pollution in farmland soils.Zhengxin Xu Can Hu Xufeng Wang Long Wang Jianfei Xing Xiaowei He Zaibin Wang Pengfei Zhao 2023Soil Ecology Letters2023,5,3:0
18A denoising-classification neural network for power transformer protection显示文摘Artificial intelligence(AI)can potentially improve the reliability of transformer protection by fusing multiple features.However,owing to the data scarcity of inrush current and internal fault,the existing methods face the problem of poor generalizability.In this paper,a denoising-classification neural network(DCNN)is proposed,one which inte-grates a convolutional auto-encoder(CAE)and a convolutional neural network(CNN),and is used to develop a reli-able transformer protection scheme by identifying the exciting voltage-differential current curve(VICur).In the DCNN,CAE shares its encoder part with the CNN,where the CNN combines the encoder and a classifier.Based on the inter-action of the CAE reconstruction process and the CNN classification process,the CAE regards the saturated features of the VICur as noise and removes them accurately.Consequently,it guides CNN to focus on the unsaturated features of the VICur.The unsaturated part of the VICur approximates an ellipse,and this significantly differentiates between a healthy and faulty transformer.Therefore,the unsaturated features extracted by the CNN help to decrease the data ergodicity requirement of AI and improve the generalizability.Finally,a CNN which is trained well by the DCNN is used to develop a protection scheme.PSCAD simulations and dynamic model experiments verify its superior performance.Zongbo Li Zaibin Jiao Anyang He Nuo Xu 2022Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2022,7,1:0

20Knowledge-based Convolutional Neural Networks for Transformer Protection显示文摘Deep learning based transformer protection has attracted increasing attention.However,its poor generalization abilities hinder the application of deep learning in the power system owing to the limited training samples.In order to improve its generalization abilities,this paper proposes a knowledge-based convolutional neural network(CNN)for the transformer protection.In general,the power experts can reliably discriminate between faulty transformers and healthy transformers only through the unsaturated parts of equivalent magnetization curve(voltage of magnetizing branch-differential current curve)but deep learning intends to focus on the combined features of saturated and unsaturated parts.Inspired by the identification process of power experts,CNN adopted a specially designed loss function in this paper which is used to identify the running states of power transformers.Specifically,the presented Restrictive Weight Sparsity substitutes a special regularization term for the common LI regularization.The presented Adaptive Sample Weight Adjustment endows the softmax loss of each sample with the optimizable weight the softmax loss of each sample with the optimizable weights to increase the impact of more-difficult-to-identify cases on the training process.With the modified loss function,the knowledge is abstractly introduced into the training process of CNN so as to successfully imitate the identification process of power experts.Accordingly,the proposed knowledge-based CNN will pay more attention to the unsaturated parts of equivalent magnetization curve even if only limited samples are included in the training process.The results of simulations and dynamic model experiments reveal that the knowledge-based CNN exhibits an improved generalization ability and the knowledge-based deep learning algorithm is a promising research direction.Zongbo Li Zaibin Jiao Anyang He 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,2:0
