1Associations between individual and environmental factors and habitual physical activity among older Chinese adults:A social–ecological perspective显示文摘Purpose: To examine, within a social–ecological framework, associations between multifaceted individual and environmental factors and habitual physical activity(HPA) among older Chinese adults.Methods: Through a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, a survey instrument assessing various factors underlying 3 social–ecological dimensions of intrapersonal, interpersonal, and community and environmental resources was developed. Using a cross-sectional design, older adults(n = 1580, aged 67 ± 7 years) recruited from 10 communities in Shandong province completed the social–ecological survey of HPA. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Path Modeling.Results: Factors related to intrapersonal(medical knowledge, motivation, physical function, sport skills, socioeconomic status, and education),interpersonal(social support, social activity, and social norms), and community and physical environmental resources(safety, capacity, availability of and access to physical activity facilities) were found to be significantly associated with older adults' participation in HPA.Conclusion: The findings provide an initial validation of a social–ecological approach to the study of HPA in China, suggesting that strategies aimed at promoting physical activity in older adults should address multiple levels of factors that may contribute to the likelihood of older Chinese adults being physically active.Xiangren Yi Zachary Pope Zan Gao Shumei Wang Fang Pan Jingpeng Yan Meng Liu Peipei Wu Jingjing Xu Rui Wang 2016Journal of Sport and Health Science2016,5,3:11
2Properties of sodium silicate bonded sand hardened by microwave heating显示文摘The sodium silicate bonded sand hardened by microwave heating has many advantages,such as low sodium silicate adding quantity,fast hardening speed,high room temperature strength,good collapsibility and certain surface stability. However,it has big moisture absorbability in the air,which would lead to the compression strength and the surface stability of the sand molds being sharply reduced. In this study,the moisture absorbability of the sodium silicate bonded sand hardened by microwave heating in different humidity conditions and the effect factors were investigated. Meanwhile,the reasons for the big moisture absorbability of the sand were analyzed. Some measures to overcome the problems of high moisture absorbability,bad surface stability and sharply reducing strength in the air were discussed. 3Method of neural network modulation recognition based on clustering and Polak-Ribiere algorithm显示文摘To improve the recognition rate of signal modulation recognition methods based on the clustering algorithm under the low SNR, a modulation recognition method is proposed. The characteristic parameter of the signal is extracted by using a clustering algorithm, the neural network is trained by using the algorithm of variable gradient correction(Polak-Ribiere) so as to enhance the rate of convergence, improve the performance of recognition under the low SNR and realize modulation recognition of the signal based on the modulation system of the constellation diagram.Simulation results show that the recognition rate based on this algorithm is enhanced over 30% compared with the methods that adopt clustering algorithm or neural network based on the back propagation algorithm alone under the low SNR. 4Nano-silica-decorated Poly(m-Phenylene Isophthalamide)Separator with Enhanced Mechanical and Electrolyte Wetting Properties for Lithium-Ion Batteries显示文摘Heat-resistant poly(m-phenylene isophthalamide)(PMIA)has attracted considerable attention as a novel separator for application in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs);however,its mechanical strength and electrolyte wettability are not ideal.Herein,a nano-silica-decorated poly(m-phenylene isophthalamide)(PMIA@SiO2)separator was fabricated with SiO2 nanoparticles uniformly attached to the pores and pore walls of the PMIA separator.The as-prepared PMIA@SiO2 separator has good mechanical strength(a 16%improvement compared with pristine PMIA)and wettability toward the electrolyte(the contact angle decreases from 34.0°to 23.1°).The PMIA@SiO2 separator also had a high ionic conductivity(0.75 mS/cm)and low interfacial electric resistance(75Ω).The assembled LiCoO2/PMIA@Si O2-liquid electrolyte/Li cell displays good cycle performance with a capacity retention of 88.1%after 50 cycles.Furthermore,the cycling performance and rate capacity rarely changed after high-temperature treatment.Therefore,the nano-silica-decorated PMIA separator is a potential candidate for application in LIBs with high safety.Jianjie Wang Biao Yuan Fusheng Pan Lina Qiao Jun Guo Cuijia Duan Wei Wu Zan Chen anlei Su 2020Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,4:2
5Design and preliminary experimental research on a new biogas fermentation system by solar heat pipe heating显示文摘Biogas fermentation requires appropriate temperature,while the biogas fermentation can be affected by the low ambient temperature in winter.In order to overcome the negative effects of low temperature fermentation,a new type of solar heat pipe biogas fermentation heating system was designed and a preliminary experiment research on this system was conducted using cow manure as the raw material at 6%concentration and total fermentation volume of 175 L.The experimental results showed that when the system was in normal operation,the fermentation temperature rose every day by gradient.This gradient will gradually become smaller with the increase of fermentation liquid temperature,and the temperature can reach 38°C after stability.Using this solar heat pipe heating system,the fermentation liquid temperature can be increased by 5°C every sunny day.This solar heat pipe heating system plays a significant role in biogas fermentation.The results of economic analysis show that the system can realize the fermentation at constant temperatures of 25°C and 35°C respectively,and it can also save standard coal equivalent of 40 kg and 80 kg in winter and spring,respectively.Jiao Youzhou Li Pengfei Li Gang Zhang Quanguo Ding Pan Wang Shaopeng Gao Zan Du Shuangli He Chao 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,2:2

7Experimental and Modelling Study on Emission of Volatile Nitrogen Derived NO during Pressured Oxy-fuel Combustion under Wet Flue Gas Environment显示文摘Pressurised oxy-fuel combustion(POFC)is a clean and efficient combustion technology with great potential.Due to the recycling of flue gas,the concentration of steam in the flue gas is higher than that of conventional combustion,which enriches the free radical pool in the flue gas and thus affects the emission of gaseous pollutants.Therefore,further research into the effect of high steam concentrations on NO_(x)emission mechanisms in POFC is necessary.In this work,a fixed-bed reactor was used to conduct combustion experiments of volatiles and combined with chemical kinetic models to study the NO release characteristics for different pressures and steam concentrations in an O_(2)/CO_(2)atmosphere at 800℃/900℃temperature.The results of the study indicated that the volatile nitrogen comes from the pyrolysis of part of pyrrole,pyridine,and all quaternary nitrogen in coal.The increase in temperature promoted the formation of NO during combustion.Higher pressure affects the main reaction pathway for NO formation,promoting NO consumption by HCCO and C_(2)O groups while enhancing the overall NO reduction.Steam promoted NO consumption by NCO.In addition,steam increased the amount of H/OH groups during the reaction,which affected both NO formation and consumption.However,from the overall effect,the steam still inhibits the emission of NO.ZAN Haifeng CHEN Xiaoping PAN Suyang GENG Pengfei LIU Daoyin MA Jiliang LIANG Cai 2023Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,5:0
8Non-destructive study of fruits using grating-based X-ray imaging显示文摘Grating-based X-ray imaging can make use of conventional tube sources to provide absorption, refraction and scattering contrast images from a single set of projection images efficiently. In this paper, a fresh cherry tomato and a dried umeboshi are imaged by using X-ray Talbot–Lau interferometer. The seed distribution in the scattering image of the cherry tomato, and the wrinkles of epicarp in the refraction image of the umeboshi, are shown distinctly. The refraction and scattering images provide more information on subtle features than the absorption image. Also, the contrast-to-noise ratio values show distinguishing capacity of the three kinds of imaging techniques. 9Construction of a high-density genetic linkage map and identification of flowering-related QTL in erect milkvetch(Astragalus adsurgens)显示文摘Erect milkvetch(Astragalus adsurgens)is a perennial legume forage crop with economic and ecological value in livestock grazing and soil-erosion control in arid and semiarid areas worldwide.Genomic information and molecular tools to support breeding and research in the species are limited.The objectives of this investigation were to map its genome using DNA markers and to identify quantitative trait loci(QTL)in the species.An F1 mapping population of 250 plants was developed from a cross between two parents with differing flowering-related traits.A high-density genetic linkage map containing 4821 markers on eight linkage groups(LGs)with a total genetic length of 1395 cM and a mean interval of 0.29 cM between adjacent markers was constructed with SLAF-seq technology.Comparative genomic analyses revealed the highest genome sequence similarity(8.71%)between erect milkvetch and Medicago truncatula,followed by Glycine max(7.65%),Cicer arietinum(7.53%),and Lupinus angustifolius(5.21%).A total of 64 significant QTL for flowering-related traits on six LGs were detected,accounting for 9.38 to 19.1%of the associated phenotype variation.Five and 48 key candidate genes for floret number and inflorescence length were identified based on the Glycyrrhiza uralensis genome.These candidate genes were involved in ubiquitination/degradation,pollen development,cell division,cytokinin biosynthetic process,and plant flowering.These findings shed light on the regulation of flowering traits in erect milkvetch and provide genomic resources for future molecular breeding of the crop.Wenlong Gong Lin Ma Qiu Gao Bao Wei Jiangui Zhang Xiqiang Liu Pan Gong Zan Wang Guiqin Zhao 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,4:0
10NLO QCD corrections to Bc(B*c) production around the Z pole at an e+e- collider显示文摘The production of B_c and B_c~* mesons at a Z-factory(an e^+e^- collider operating at energies around the Z pole) is calculated up to the next-to-leading order(NLO) QCD accuracy. The results show that the dependence of the total cross sections on the renormalization scale μ is suppressed by the corrections, and the NLO corrections enhance the total cross sections of B_c by 52%and of B_c~* by 33% when the renormalization scale is taken at μ = 2 mb. To observe the various behaviors of the production of the mesons B_c and B_c~*, such as the differential cross section vs. the out-going angle, the forward-backward asymmetry, and the distribution vs. the energy fraction z up to NLO QCD accuracy as well as the relevant K-factor(NLO to LO) for the production,are calculated, and it is pointed out that some of the observables obtained in the present work may be used as a specific precision test of the standard model.XuChang Zheng ChaoHsi Chang TaiFu Feng Zan Pan 2018Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2018,61,3:0
