| 1 | Discussion on grain refining mechanism of AM30 alloy inoculated by MgCO_(3)显示文摘AM30 was inoculated by MgCO_(3) powder with different holding time.The influence of MgO decomposed by MgCO_(3)on the grain refinement effect was mainly discussed in the present study.Three sets of comparative samples were prepared.They were AM30 alloy inoculated by MgO and pure Mg inoculated by MgO and MgCO_(3).The possible nucleating particles were observed and analyzed by EPMA and SEM.AM30 alloy could be effectively refined by either MgCO_(3)or MgO inoculation.Grain refining efficiency and fading effect of MgO inoculation were better than those of MgCO_(3) inoculation.However,pure Mg could not be refined by these two inoculants.Al is an indispensable element to determine the grain refinement of Mg alloys inoculated by either MgCO_(3)or MgO.MgO should not be the effective substrates forα-Mg phase.A novel grain refining mechanism of MgCO_(3) inoculation on AM30 alloy was proposed by combining experimental results with theoretical calculation,i.e.,MgAl_(2)O_(4) should be the potent nuclei ofα-Mg grain for the AM30 alloy in addition to Al_(4)C_(3). | Jun Du Zejiang Yao Shuai Han Wenfang Li | 2017 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2017,5,2: | 3 |

| 3 | Responses of Soil Bacterial Diversity to Fertilization are Driven by Local Environmental Context Across China显示文摘Soil microbial diversity is extremely vulnerable to fertilization,which is one of the main anthropogenic activities associated with global changes.Yet we know little about how and why soil microbial diversity responds to fertilization across contrasting local ecological contexts.This knowledge is fundamental for predicting changes in soil microbial diversity in response to ongoing global changes.We analyzed soils from ten 20-year field fertilization(organic and/or inorganic)experiments across China and found that the national-scale responses of soil bacterial diversity to fertilization are dependent on ecological context.In acidic soils from regions with high precipitation and soil fertility,inorganic fertilization can result in further acidification,resulting in negative impacts on soil bacterial diversity.In comparison,organic fer-tilization causes a smaller disturbance to soil bacterial diversity.Despite the overall role of environmental contexts in driving soil microbial diversity,a small group of bacterial taxa were found to respond to fer-tilization in a consistent way across contrasting regions throughout China.Taxa such as Nitrosospira and Nitrososphaera,which benefit from nitrogen fertilizer addition,as well as Chitinophagaceae,Bacilli,and phototrophic bacteria,which respond positively to organic fertilization,could be used as bioindicators for soil fertility in response to fertilization at the national scale.Overall,our work provides new insights into the importance of local environmental context in determining the responses of soil microbial diver-sity to fertilization,and identifies regions with acidic soils wherein soil microbial diversity is more vul-nerable to fertilization at the national scale. | Youzhi Feng Manuel Delgado-Baquerizo Yongguan Zhu Xiaozeng Han Xiaori Han Xiuli Xin Wei Li Zhibing Guo Tinghui Dang Chenhua Li Bo Zhu Zejiang Cai Daming Li Jiabao Zhang | 2022 | Engineering2022,8,5: | 1 |

| 7 | HDAC I/IIb selective inhibitor Purinostat Mesylate combined with GLS1 inhibition effectively eliminates CML stem cells显示文摘Purinostat Mesylate(PM)is a novel highly selective and active HDAC I/IIb inhibitor,and the injectable formulation of PM(PMF)based on the compound prescription containing cyclodextrin completely can overcome PM’s poor solubility and improves its stability and pharmacokinetic properties.Here,we showed that PM effectively repressed the survival of Ph+leukemia cells and CD34+leukemia cells from CML patients in vitro.In vivo studies demonstrated that PMF significantly prevented BCR-ABL(T315I)induced CML progression by restraining leukemia stem cells(LSCs),which are insensitive to chemotherapy and responsible for CML relapse.Mechanism studies revealed that targeting HDAC I/IIb repressed several important factors for LSCs survival including c-Myc,β-Catenin,E2f,Ezh2,Alox5,and mTOR,as well as interrupted some critical biologic processes.Additionally,PMF increased glutamate metabolism in LSCs by increasing GLS1.The combination of PMF and glutaminase inhibitor BPTES synergistically eradicated LSCs by altering multiple key proteins and signaling pathways which are critical for LSC survival and self-renewal.Overall,our findings represent a new therapeutic strategy for eliminating LSCs by targeting HDAC I/IIb and glutaminolysis,which potentially provides a guidance for PMF clinical trials in the future for TKI resistance CML patients. | Qiang Qiu Linyu yang Yunyu Feng Zejiang Zhu Ning Li Li Zheng Yuanyuan Sun Cong Pan Huandi Qiu Xue Cui Wei He Fang Wang Yuyao Yi Minghai Tang Zhuang Yang Yunfan Yang Zhihui Li Lijuan Chen Yiguo Hu | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,3: | 1 |
| 8 | Fertilization practices affect biological nitrogen fixation by modulating diazotrophic communities in an acidic soil in southern China显示文摘Biological nitrogen(N)fixation(BNF)driven by diazotrophs is an important pathway for N input in agricultural ecosystems.However,free-living BNF and its associated diazotrophic communities under different fertilization practices in acidic soils are poorly studied.Here,we conducted a long-term(29 years)fertilization experiment to explore how fertilization affected free-living BNF via changing biotic and abiotic variables.The fertilization treatments included an unfertilized control(CK),chemical N,phosphorus(P),and potassium(K)fertilizers(NPK),NPK plus lime(NPKL),NPK plus straw(NPKS),NPK plus straw and lime(NPKSL),and NPK plus manure(NPKM).Compared with CK(1.51 nmol C_(2)H_(2)g^(-1)d^(-1)),BNF rate was significantly(P<0.05)higher in NPKM(1.99 nmol C_(2)H_(2)g^(-1)d^(-1))but lower in NPK(0.55 nmol C_(2)H_(2)g^(-1)d^(-1)),NPKL(0.61 nmol C_(2)H_(2)g^(-1)d^(-1)),and NPKS(0.69nmol C_(2)H_(2)g^(-1)d^(-1)).Similarly,chemical fertilization treatments without manure reduced the gene abundance(0.71×10^(8)-1.18×10^(8)copies g^(-1))andα-diversity(Shannon index,1.11-2.43)of diazotrophic communities,whereas the treatment with manure had a positive effect on diazotrophic abundance(3.23×10^(8)copies g^(-1))and Shannon index(3.36).Non-parametric multivariate analysis of variance(PERMANOVA)suggested that manure application(R^(2)=0.212,P=0.001)had a stronger influence on diazotrophic community composition than the addition of lime(R^(2)=0.115,P=0.019)or straw(R^(2)=0.064,P=0.161).Random forest modeling revealed that BNF rates can be significantly(P<0.05)explained by soil pH(9.9%),diazotrophic community attributes(composition,8.5%;Chao 1 index,8.1%;abundance,6.0%;Shannon index,5.7%),and soil total carbon(5.1%).Partial least squares path modeling(PLS-PM)suggested that the diazotrophic community attributes and soil properties mainly provided direct and indirect contributions to the variations in BNF rates,respectively.The dominant genera,Pelomonas,Azospirillum,and Dechloromonas,were positively associated with BNF rates,with their members being observed as keystone species in the community network.Application of chemical fertilizers combined with manure is an effective practice for improving BNF in acidic soils by affecting soil diazotrophic communities. | Long GUO Chao WANG Manman ZHENG Wenxing LI Zejiang CAI Boren WANG Juan CHEN Ren Fang SHEN | 2023 | Pedosphere2023,33,2: | 0 |
| 9 | Accelerated exploration of TRIP metallic glass composite by laser additive manufacturing显示文摘Introducing transformation-induced plasticity(TRIP)effect into bulk metallic glass composites(BMGCs)is an effective route to improve their ductility and strain-hardening ability.Since the morphology and structure of the crystalline austenite phases responsible for the TRIP phenomenon are strongly dependent on the alloy composition and cooling rate during freezing,distinguishing the optimal cases from a vast variety of candidates is the primary task of exploring TRIP BMGCs.However,without a suitable theoretical guidance,the exploration of BMGCs is usually performed via the traditional trial-and-error route,making the BMGC development extremely time consuming and labor intensive.Here,we present a novel high-throughput strategy to accelerate the exploration process of TRIP BMGCs.The efficiency of this strategy was demonstrated on a well-studied Cu-Zr-Al alloy system.A screening library,comprised by121 cylindrical samples with different conditions,was rapidly prepared by laser additive manufacturing(LAM).The phases of the library were efficiently identified by micro-area X-ray diffraction(M-XRD)to screen the optimal compositions and cooling rates that precipitate only B2-Cu Zr phase.The distribution uniformity of the B2-Cu Zr phase was further evaluated based on digital image processing technology to screen the candidates of better ductility.The high-throughput results are in good agreement with the previous casting investigations of discrete samples,confirming the validity of the present high-throughput strategy. | Zejiang Yu Wei Zheng Zhiqiang Li Yunzhuo Lu Xinbing Yun Zuoxiang Qin Xing Lu | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,19: | 0 |
