| 2 | Expression analysis of two novel cotton 14-3-3 genes in root development and in response to salt stress显示文摘14-3-3 proteins are phosphoserine-binding proteins that regulate the activities of a wide array of targets via direct protein-protein interactions,and may play an important role in response to biotic and abiotic stresses. In this study,two cDNAs (designated as Gh14-3-3b and Gh14-3-3c) encoding putative 14-3-3 proteins were isolated from cotton cDNA libraries. Gh14-3-3b gene encodes a pro-tein of 268 amino acids,while Gh14-3-3c gene encodes a protein of 261 amino acids. Real-time RT-PCR analysis revealed that both the Gh14-3-3b and Gh14-3-3c genes were preferentially expressed in roots. The transcript levels of both the genes were the highest in 3-day-old roots,and then dramatically decreased to relatively low levels in parallel with root development. | 3 | Evaluation of Ocean Data Assimilation in CAS-ESM-C:Constraining the SST Field显示文摘A weakly coupled assimilation system, in which SST observations are assimilated into a coupled climate model(CASESM-C) through an ensemble optimal interpolation scheme, was established. This system is a useful tool for historical climate simulation, showing substantial advantages, including maintaining the atmospheric feedback, and keeping the oceanic fields from drifting far away from the observation, among others. During the coupled model integration, the bias of both surface and subsurface oceanic fields in the analysis can be reduced compared to unassimilated fields. Based on 30 model years of output from the system, the climatology and interannual variability of the climate system were evaluated. The results showed that the system can reasonably reproduce the climatological global precipitation and SLP, but it still suffers from the double ITCZ problem. Besides, the ENSO footprint, which is revealed by ENSO-related surface air temperature, geopotential height and precipitation during El Ni ?no evolution, is basically reproduced by the system. | 15 | Thermal stability of soil organic carbon subjected to water erosion as a function of edaphic factors显示文摘The stability of soil organic carbon(SOC),as it relates to resistance to decomposition,is important for greenhouse gas emission and climate change.However,the SOC stabilization and its related influencing factors subjected to water erosion remain uncertain.The objective of the current study was to determine the SOC stability under long-term water erosion and to investigate the link between SOC stability and edaphic factors.Soil samples from eroded,depositional,and control sites in a closed watershed in subtropical China were collected.The SOC concentration,carbon functional groups,soil physicochemical properties,and thermal stability of SOC were determined.The study results showed that the primary component of the SOC functional groups was O-alkyl carbon(reached 40%),and its proportion has no significant difference among different sites.The TG-T50(the temperature at which 50%of the soil organic matter is lost)values indicated that the SOC thermal stability in the eroded topsoil was higher than that of the deposited topsoil.The carbon functional groups were lack of relation with SOC thermal stability(p>0.05).However,the TG-T_(50) was significantly positively correlated with the cation exchange capacity and silt,but remarkably negatively correlated with SOC,dissolved organic carbon,total nitrogen,sand,clay,pH,aluminum,specific surface area,and iron oxides.These results indicated that the edaphic factors,which were strongly affected by micro-environment,are the main factors affecting thermal stability of organic carbon.The SOC stabilization under the effects of long-term water erosion should be addressed from the perspective of the ecosystem. | Zhongwu Li Linhui Xiao Chuxiong Deng Zaijian Yuan Chen Liang Qian Xiong Zeting Li Xiaodong Nie | 2022 | International Journal of Sediment Research2022,37,1: | 0 |
| 16 | Performance Analysis of an Integrated Supercritical CO_(2) Recompression/Absorption Refrigeration/Kalina Cycle Driven by Medium-Temperature Waste Heat显示文摘A novel power and cooling cogeneration system which combines a supercritical CO_(2) recompression cycle(SCRC), an ammonia-water absorption refrigeration cycle(AARC) and a Kalina cycle(KC) is proposed and investigated for the recovery of medium-temperature waste heat. The system is based on energy cascade utilization, and the waste heat can be fully converted through the simultaneous operation of the three sub-cycles. A steady-state mathematical model is built for further performance study of the proposed system. When the exhaust temperature is 505℃, it is shown that under designed conditions the thermal efficiency and exergy efficiency reach 30.74% and 61.55%, respectively. The exergy analysis results show that the main exergy destruction is concentrated in the heat recovery vapor generator(HRVG). Parametric study shows that the compressor inlet pressure, the SCRC pressure ratio, the main compressor and the turbine I inlet temperature, and the AARC generator pressure have significant effects on thermodynamic and economic performance of the combined system.
