1A review on tribology of polymer composite coatings显示文摘Self-lubricating polymer composite coatings,with tailorable tribological and mechanical properties,have been widely employed on mechanical parts to reduce friction and wear,which saves energy and improves the overall performance for applications such as aerospace satellite parts,shafts,gears,and bushings.The addition of functional fillers can overcome the limitations of single-polymer coatings and extend the service life of the coatings by providing a combination of low friction,high wear resistance,high load bearing,high temperature resistance,and high adhesion.This paper compares the heat resistance,and the tribological and mechanical properties of common polymer matrices,as well as the categories of functional fillers that improve the coating performance.Applicable scopes,process parameters,advantages,and limitations of the preparation methods of polymer coatings are discussed in detail.The tribological properties of the composite coatings with different matrices and fillers are compared,and the lubrication mechanisms are analyzed.Fillers reduce friction by promoting the formation of transfer films or liquid shear films.Improvement of the mechanical properties of the composite coatings with fillers of different morphologies is described in terms of strengthening and toughening mechanisms,including a stress transfer mechanism,shear yielding,crack bridging,and interfacial debonding.The test and enhancement methods for the adhesion properties between the coating and substrate are discussed.The coating adhesion can be enhanced through mechanical treatment,chemical treatment,and energy treatment of the substrate.Finally,we propose the design strategies for high-performance polymer composite coating systems adapted to specific operating conditions,and the limitations of current polymer composite coating research are identified.Yilong REN Lin ZHANG Guoxin XIE Zhanbo LI Hao CHEN Hanjun GONG Wenhu XU Dan GUO Jianbin LUO 2021Friction2021,9,3:13

3Effects of in-situ stress on the stability of a roadway excavated through a coal seam显示文摘Roadways excavated through a coal seam can exert an adverse effect on roadway stability. To investigate the effects of in-situ stress on roadway stability, numerical models were built and high horizontal stresses at varying orientations were applied. The results indicate that stress concentrations, roadway deformation and failure increase in magnitude and extent as the excavation angle with respect to the maximum horizontal stress increases. In addition, the stress adjacent to the coal-rock interface sharply varies in space and evolves with time; coal is much more vulnerable to deformation and failure than rock.The results provide insights into the layout of roadways excavated through a coal seam. Roadways should be designed parallel or at a narrow angle to the maximum horizontal stress. 4Engineered targeting tLyp-1 exosomes as gene therapy vectors for efficient delivery of siRNA into lung cancer cells显示文摘Natural exosomes can express specific proteins and carbohydratemolecules on the surface and hence have demonstrated the great potentials for gene therapy of cancer.However,the use of natural exosomes is restricted by their low transfection efficiency.Here,we report a novel targeting tLyp-1 exosome by gene recombinant engineering for delivery of siRNA to cancer and cancer stem cells.To reach such a purpose,the engineered tLyp-1-lamp2b plasmids were constructed and amplified in Escherichia coli.The tLyp-1-lamp2b plasmids were further used to transfect HEK293T tool cells and the targeting tLyp-1 exosomes were isolated from secretion of the transfected HEK293T cells.Afterwards,the artificially synthesized siRNA was encapsulated into targeting tLyp-1 exosomes by electroporation technology.Finally,the targeting siRNA tLyp-1 exosomes were used to transfect cancer or cancer stem cells.Results showed that the engineered targeting tLyp-1 exosomes had a nanosized structure(approximately 100 nm)and high transfection efficiency into lung cancer and cancer stem cells.The function verifications demonstrated that the targeting siRNA tLyp-1 exosomes were able to knock-down the target gene of cancer cells and to reduce the stemness of cancer stem cells.In conclusion,the targeting tLyp-1 exosomes are successfully engineered,and can be used for gene therapy with a high transfection efficiency.Therefore,the engineered targeting tLyp-1 exosomes offer a promising gene delivery platform for future cancer therapy.Jing Bai Jialun Duan Rui Liu Yafei Du Qian Luo Yinuo Cui Zhanbo Su Jiarui Xu Ying Xie Wanliang Lu 2020Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2020,15,4:5

6Use of zeolitized coal fly ash in the simultaneous removal of ammonium and phosphate from aqueous solution显示文摘Discharge of wastewater containing nitrogen and phosphate can cause eutrophication.Therefore,the development of an efficient material for the immobilization of the nutrients is important.In this study,a low calcium fly ash and high calcium fly ash were converted into zeolite using the hydrothermal method.The removal of ammonium and phosphate that coexist in aqueous solution by the synthesized zeolites were studied.The results showed that zeolitized fly ash could efficiently eliminate ammonium and phosphate at the same time.Saturation of zeolite with Ca^(2+)rather than Na+favored the removal of both ammonium and phosphate because the cation exchange reaction by the NH_(4)^(+)resulted in the release of Ca2+into the solution and precipitation of Ca^(2+)with PO_(4)^(3−)followed.An increase in the temperature elevated the immobilization of phosphate whereas it abated the removal of ammonium.Nearly 60%removal efficiency for ammonium was achieved in the neutral pH range from 5.5 to 10.5,while the increase or decrease in pH out of the neutral range lowered the adsorption.In contrast,the removal of phosphate approached 100%at a pH lower than 5.0 or higher than 9.0,and less phosphate was immobilized at neutral pH.However,there was still a narrow pH range from 9.0 to 10.5 favoring the removal of both ammonium and phosphate.It was concluded that the removal of ammonium was caused by cation exchange;the contribution of NH3 volatilization to immobilization at alkaline conditions(up to pH level of 11.4)was limited.With respect to phosphate immobilization,the mechanism was mainly the formation of precipitate as Ca_(3)(PO_(4))_(2) within the basic pH range or as FePO_(4) and AlPO_(4) within acidic pH range.WU Deyi HU Zhanbo WANG Xinze HE Shengbing KONG Hainan 2007Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2007,1,2:2
7PAQR4 promotes the development of hepatocellular carcinoma by activating PI3K/AKT pathway显示文摘Progestin and adipoQ receptor 4(PAQR4)is a novel tumorigenic factor that promotes cell proliferation and metastasis in lung and breast cancer,but its role in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is unknown.The aim of our study was to explore its role and underlying mechanism in the development of HCC.Analysis of GEPIA database indicated that PAQR4 was highly expressed in HCC samples,and the mRNA level of PAQR4 was negatively correlated with the overall survival of HCC patients.Knockdown of PAQR4 in Hep3B cells suppressed cell proliferation by hindering G1/S transition of cell cycle as shown by the flow cytometry analysis.PAQR4 knockdown also expedited the cell apoptosis.Knockdown of PAQR4 repressed the migratory and invasive potential of Hep3B cells.PAQR4 knockdown sensitized Hep3B cells to apatinib-based chemotherapy.PAQR4 knockdown blocked the activation of PI3K/AKT pathway,as reflected by the reduced phosphorylation of AKT and p85.Conversely,overexpression of PAQR4 exerted opposite effects in Huh-7 cells.PI3K inhibitor LY294002 could eliminate the effects of PAQR4 on cell proliferation,apoptosis,chemoresistance,and invasion.In tumor xenograft model,knockdown of PAQR4 suppressed tumor growth in vivo,while PAQR4 overexpression promoted tumor growth.Collectively,our data suggest that PAQR4 has a tumorigenic effect on HCC progression by activating PI3K/AKT pathway.Gang Zhao Xiaobao Shi Zhanbo Sun Pengfei Zhao Zaiming Lu 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,12:2
8Comparison between Sulfuric Acid-phenol and Sulfuric Acid-anthrone Methods Used for Determination of Polysaccharides in Shoots of Aralia elata (Miq.) Seem.显示文摘Sulfuric acid-phenol and sulfuric acid-anthrone methods were used to detect polysaccharide content in shoots of Aralia elata( Miq.) Seem.,and the conversion factor to glucose was measured with refined polysaccharides. Comprehensive evaluation was carried out by linear relationship,precision,reproducibility,stability and recovery rate. The results showed that the linear relationship between glucose concentration and absorbance was good when glucose concentration was0-40 μg/ml,and the average recovery rate was equal to or higher than 97. 00% with good reproducibility( RSD < 1. 60%,n = 5). It revealed that the two methods were accurate and reliable,and suitable for the determination of polysaccharide content in the shoots of A. elata. 9Biological characteristics of marine bacterium S-9801 strain and its culture conditions of pigment production显示文摘Strain of Flavobacterium sp.(S-9801),was screened from 207 strains of marine bacteria isolated from the Bohai Sea continental shelf and the Zhujiang Estuary,for its red pigment production.The biological characteristics of strain S-9801 and culture conditions of pigment production have been checked out in this study. The color of the bacterial colony on 2216E medium was from coccineus to rose bengal. Optimum culture conditions were sodium chloride concentration(g/dm3),10~30;pH,3~8;temperature,25~28℃;tryptone and yeast extract as nitrogen sources and glucose as carbon source. 10Assessment of the risk of infectious aerosols leaking to the environment from BSL-3 laboratory HEPA air filtration systems using model bacterial aerosols显示文摘To assess the risk of infectious bacterial aerosols leaking to the environment, the filtration efficiency of a biosafety level 3(BSL-3) laboratory high-efficiency particulate(HEPA) filter was investigated using the aerosolized bacteria Serratia marcescens. The aerosol size was measured using an Andersen sampler. Eight first stage HEPA filters(numbered 1-8) were distributed in contaminated labs and exhausts from each0f the first stage HEPA filters were aggregated and filtered through one second stage HEPA filter before being released to the environment. In total, 8 first-stage and 1 second-stage HEPA filters from the BSL-3 air purification system were analyzed. No S. marcescens was detected in first stage filters 1,2,4,5,7 and 8 and the second stage HEPA filter. The filtration efficiencies against aerosolized S. marcescens were >99.9999%.First stage filter numbers 3 and 6 had filtration efficiencies of 99.9825% and 99.9906%, respectively. When filter number 3 was replaced by a new filter and the bracket for filter number 6 was sealed, no aerosolized S. marcescens was detected in the filtered air.
