2LW-NIR hyperspectral imaging for rapid prediction of TVC in chicken flesh显示文摘Total viable count(TVC)is often used as an important indicator for chicken freshness evaluation.In this study,112 fresh chicken flesh samples were acquired after slaughtered and their hyperspectral images were collected in the LW-NIR(900-1700 nm)range.The full LW-NIR spectra(486 wavebands)within the images were extracted and applied to related to reference TVC values measured in different storage periods,using partial least squares regression(PLSR)algorithm,resulting in high correlation coefficients(R)and low root mean square errors(RMSE),for either raw spectra or pretreatment spectra.By using regression coefficients(RC)method,20,18,17 and 20 optimal wavebands were respectively selected from raw spectra,baseline correction(BC)spectra,Savitzky-Golay convolution smoothing(SGCS)spectra and standard normal variate(SNV)spectra and applied for the optimization of original full waveband PLSR model.By comparison,RC-PLSR model based on the SGCS spectra showed a better performance in TVC prediction with RC of 0.98 and RMSEC of 0.35 log10 CFU/g in calibration set,and RP of 0.98 and RMSEP of 0.44 log10 CFU/g in prediction set.At last,by transferring the best RC-PLSR model,the dynamic TVC change during the storage was visualized by color maps to indicate the TVC spoilage degree.The overall study revealed that LW-NIR hyperspectral imaging combined with PLSR could be used to predict the freshness of chicken flesh.Hui Wang Hongju He Hanjun Ma Fusheng Chen Zhuangli Kang Mingming Zhu Zhengrong Wang Shengming Zhao Rongguang Zhu 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,3:2
3Quick assessment of chicken spoilage based on hyperspectral NIR spectra combined with partial least squares regression显示文摘Pseudomonas spp.and Enterobacteriaceae are dominant spoilage bacteria in chicken during cold storage(0°C-4°C).In this study,high resolution spectra in the range of 900-1700 nm were acquired and preprocessed using Savitzky-Golay convolution smoothing(SGCS),standard normal variate(SNV)and multiplicative scatter correction(MSC),respectively,and then mined using partial least squares(PLS)algorithm to relate to the total counts of Pseudomonas spp.and Enterobacteriaceae(PEC)of fresh chicken breasts to predict PEC rapidly.The results showed that with full 900-1700 nm range wavelength,MSC-PLS model built with MSC spectra performed better than PLS models with other spectra(RAW-PLS,SGCS-PLS,SNV-PLS),with correlation coefficient(RP)of 0.954,root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP)of 0.396 log10 CFU/g and residual predictive deviation(RPD)of 3.33 in prediction set.Based on the 12 optimal wavelengths(902.2 nm,905.5 nm,923.6 nm,938.4 nm,946.7 nm,1025.7 nm,1124.4 nm,1211.6 nm,1269.2 nm,1653.7 nm,1691.8 nm and 1693.4 nm)selected from MSC spectra by successive projections algorithm(SPA),SPA-MSC-PLS model had RP of 0.954,RMSEP of 0.397 log10 CFU/g and RPD of 3.32,similar to MSC-PLS model.The overall study indicated that NIR spectra combined with PLS algorithm could be used to detect the PEC of chicken flesh in a rapid and non-destructive way.Shengqi Jiang Hongju He Hanjun Ma Fusheng Chen Baocheng Xu Hong Liu Mingming Zhu Zhuangli Kang Shengming Zhao 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,1:2

5Mining hyperspectral data for non-destructive and rapid prediction of nitrite content in ham sausages显示文摘Accurate and rapid determination of nitrite contents is an important step for guaranteeing sausage quality.This study attempted to mine hyperspectral data in the range of 900-1700 nm for non-destructive and rapid prediction of nitrite contents in sausages.The average spectra of 156 samples were collected to relate to the measured nitrite values by partial least squares(PLS)regression.Optimal wavelengths were respectively selected by successive projections algorithm(SPA)and regression coefficients(RC)to simplify the PLS model.The results indicated that PLS model established with 15 optimal wavelengths(900.5 nm,907.1 nm,908.8 nm,912.1 nm,915.4 nm,920.3 nm,922.0 nm,941.7 nm,979.6 nm,1083.2 nm,1213.2 nm,1353.0 nm,1460.2 nm,1595.6 nm and 1699.9 nm)selected by SPA had better performance with r C,r CV,r P of 0.92,0.89,0.89 and RMSEC,RMSECV,RMSEP of 0.41 mg/kg,0.89 mg/kg,0.49 mg/kg,respectively,for calibration set,cross-validation and prediction set.It was concluded that hyperspectral data could be mined by PLS&SPA for realizing the rapid evaluation of nitrite content in ham sausages.Yadong Zhu Hongju He Shengqi Jiang Hanjun Ma Fusheng Chen Baocheng Xu Hong Liu Mingming Zhu Shengming Zhao Zhuangli Kang 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,2:1

8A Randomized Controlled Trial of a Biodegradable Polymer,Microcrystalline Sirolimus-Eluting Stent(MiStent)versus Another Biodegradable Polymer Sirolimus-Eluting Stent(TIVOLI):The DESSOLVE-C Trial显示文摘Objective::Data comparing the outcomes of MiStent(Micell Technologies,Durham,North Carolina,USA)microcrystalline biodegradable polymer(BP)drug-eluting stent(DES)and those of another post-marketing BP-DES,TIVOLI(EssenTech,Beijing,China)are rare.This study sought to compare the angiographic efficacy and clinical outcomes of the microcrystalline BP sirolimus-eluting stent(SES)system MiStent and those of TIVOLI BP-SES.Methods::The DESSOLVE-C trial was a prospective,single-blinded,multicenter,randomized trial(NCT02448524),which randomly assigned patients with de novo coronary lesions to receive MiStent or TIVOLI BP-SES by a 1:1 ratio.The primary endpoint was a non-inferiority comparison of in-stent late lumen loss(LLL)by quantitative coronary angiography at 9 months.The secondary endpoint was device-related clinical cardiovascular composite events(target lesion failure(TLF),composite of cardiac death,target vessel myocardial infarction(MI),and clinically driven target lesion revascularization)and 1-year outcomes.Results::A total of 428 patients(216 patients in the MiStent group and 212 patients in the TIVOLI group)were enrolled and included in an intention-to-treat analysis.MiStent was not only non-inferior but superior to TIVOLI for in-stent LLL at 9 months((0.23±0.37)mm vs.(0.34±0.48)mm,P for non-inferiority<0.001,P for superiority=0.02).Although without significant difference,the rate of TLF in MiStent was quantitatively lower than that in TIVOLI(3.70%vs.6.60%;P=0.17).Conclusion::Compared with TIVOLI BP-SES,the MiStent system was superior in in-stent LLL at 9 months and had a comparable clinical benefit at 1 year in de novo coronary lesions.Bin Wang Sicong Ma Zhiyong Wang Li Zhang Hanjun Pei Yang Zheng Yuejin Yang Zheng Zhang Xinqun Hu Ziwen Ren Feng Zhang Changqian Wang Renqiang Yang Zhiming Yang Yuexi Wang Guosheng Fu Yu Cao Zuyi Yuan Kai Xu Xin Zhao Bo Xu Miaohan Qiu Quanmin Jing 2023Cardiology Discovery2023,3,1:0

11Peptidic defective interfering gene nanoparticles against Omicron,Delta SARS-CoV-2 variants and influenza A virus in vivo显示文摘Defective interfering genes(DIGs)are short viral genomes and interfere with wild-type viral replication.Here,we demonstrate that the new designed SARS-CoV-2 DIG(CD3600)can significantly inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 including Alpha,Delta,Kappa and Omicron variants in human HK-2 cells and influenza DIG(PAD4)can significantly inhibit influenza virus replication in human A549 cells.One dose of influenza DIGs prophylactically protects 90%mice from lethal challenge of A(H1N1)pdm09 virus and CD3600 inhibits SARS-CoV-2 replication in hamster lungs when DIGs are administrated to lungs one day before viral challenge.To further investigate the gene delivery vector in the respiratory tract,a peptidic TAT2-P1&LAH4,which can package genes to form small spherical nanoparticles with high endosomal escape ability,is demonstrated to dramatically increase gene expression in the lung airway.TAT2-P1&LAH4,with the dual-functional TAT2-P1(gene-delivery and antiviral),can deliver CD3600 to significantly inhibit the replication of Delta and Omicron SARS-CoV-2 in hamster lungs.This peptide-based nanoparticle system can effectively transfect genes in lungs and deliver DIGs to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 variants and influenza virus in vivo,which provides the new insight into the drug delivery system for gene therapy against respiratory viruses.Hanjun Zhao Chuyuan Zhang Hoiyan Lam Xinjie Meng Zheng Peng Man Lung Yeung Jasper Fuk-Woo Chan Kelvin Kai-Wang To Kwok-Yung Yuen 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,9:0
12Long-term Management of Patients with Myocardial Infarction:An Updated Review显示文摘The outcomes of patients with myocardial infarction(MI)have substantially improved given the rapid progress that has occurred in revascularization techniques and secondary prevention,and the majority of MI patients subsequently enter a chronic stable phase.Therefore,the long-term management of patients with MI has become a core issue in daily clinical practice for cardiologists.The long-term incidence of adverse events can be further reduced using newly developed medications and therapies ranging from lipid-lowering agents(eg,proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 inhibitors)to anti-thrombotic treatments(eg,shortened dual anti-platelet therapy).However,a considerable number of patients still experience adverse events,as some residual risk can remain despite intensive secondary prevention,such as continuously elevated cholesterol levels,chronic cardiovascular inflammation,and rapid atherosclerosis progression due to increased plaque instability.Therefore,the present review sought to summarize and discuss recent advances in several key aspects regarding the long-term management of MI patients,with the expectation of clarifying the available treatment strategies for various clinical scenarios,examining the gaps between trial evidence and clinical practice,and providing possible directions for future research.Runzhen Chen Hanjun Zhao Hongbing Yan 2022Cardiology Discovery2022,2,4:0
