1Recovery of nickel,cobalt,copper and zinc in sulphate and chloride solutions using synergistic solvent extraction显示文摘A number of synergistic solvent extraction(SSX) systems have been developed to recover nickel,cobalt,zinc and copper from sulphuric and chloride leach solutions by the solvent extraction team of CSIRO,Australia.These include(1) Versatic 10/CLX50 system for the separation of Ni from Ca in sulphate solutions,(2) Versatic 10/4PC system for the separation of Ni and Co from Mn/Mg/Ca in sulphate solutions,(3) Cyanex 471X/HRJ-4277 system for the separation of Zn from Cd in sulphate solutions,(4) Versatic 10/LIX63 system for the separation of Co from Mn/Mg/Ca in sulphate solutions,(5) Versatic 10/LIX63/TBP system for separation of Ni and Co from Mn/Mg/Ca in sulphate solutions,(6) Versatic 10/LIX63 system for the separation of cobalt from nickel in sulphate solutions by difference in kinetics,(7) Cyanex 272/LIX84 system for the separation of Cu/Fe/Zn from Ni/Co in sulphate solutions,(8) Versatic 10/LIX63/TBP system to recover Cu/Ni from strong chloride solutions,and(9) Versatic10/LIX63 system to separate Cu from Fe in strong chloride solutions.The synergistic effect on metal separation and efficiency is presented and possible industrial applications are demonstrated.The chemical stability of selected SSX systems is also reported.chu yong cheng keith r.barnard wensheng zhang zhaowu zhu yoko pranolo 2016Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,2:9
2Study on orientation fracture blasting with shaped charge in rock显示文摘On the basis of the theories of mechanics of explosive and rock fracture mechanics, the mechanism of crack initiation and its expansion of directional fracture controlled blasting with shaped charges in rock were studied, then the blasting parameters were des- igned and tested by a model test in laboratory and field experiment. The experimental and test results showed that the energy from blasting is directionally concentrated for the cumulative action. The directional expansion of cracks is satisfactory, the results of the model test and field test suggested that the orientation fracture blasting with shaped charge is a good means of excavating tunnels or cutting rock.Yong Luo Zhaowu Shen 2006Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing2006,13,3:7
3Mechanical and tribological performance of CoCrNiHf_(x)eutectic medium-entropy alloys显示文摘The excellent properties of the multi-principal element alloys(e.g.,the CoCrNi medium-entropy alloy)make them a perfect candidate for structure materials.Their low strength and poor wear-resistance,however,limit considerably their applications.In this study,a lamellar eutectic microstructure was introduced by addition of Hf into CoCrNi alloy to produce a series of CoCrNiHf_(x)(x=0.1,0.2,0.3 and 0.4)eutectic medium-entropy alloys.A homogeneous eutectic microstructure with an alternate array of the soft FCC solid-solution phase and the hard Laves phase was identified for the as-cast CoCrNiHf_(0.3)alloy.After an investigation of the microstructure,mechanical and tribological properties,it was found that the hardness(plasticity)increases(decreases)with the increasing volume fraction of the Laves phase and the CoCrNiHf_(0.3)eutectic alloy exhibits both good plasticity and high strength.The wear behavior is strongly dependent on the applied normal load.For a low normal load,its tribological behavior follows the Archard's equation and a higher hardness due to Hf addition can resist plastic deformation and abrasive wear.When the normal load is high enough,the hypoeutectic or hypereutectic alloy,which possessing either high strength or good ductility but not at the same time,exhibit a poor wear resistance.In comparison,the full eutectic CoCrNiHf_(0.3)alloy with a superior combination of strength and toughness shows the best wear performance,as it can significantly reduce fracture during wear.Yin Du Xuhui Pei Zhaowu Tang Fan Zhang Qing Zhou Haifeng Wang Weimin Liu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,31:4
4Study on Supporting of Seam Roadways in Deeply Inclined Coal Seams显示文摘Based on the present problems of the support method of gateways in complex surrounding rock in steeply inclined seams, this paper discusses the support selection of lasting gateways in steeply inclined seams, and evaluates the support effects. It draws the conclusion that the support of bolt-mesh-anchor is the most effective support of this sort of gateways by using scale model simulation in lab and practice application.The support effects of practice application are satisfactory. 5Electronics based on two-dimensional materials:Status and outlook显示文摘Since Moore’s law in the traditional semiconductor industry is facing shocks,More Moore and More than Moore are proposed as two paths to maintain the development of the semiconductor industry by adopting new architectures or new materials,in which the former is committed to the continued scaling of transistors for performance enhancement,and the latter pursues the realization of functional diversification of electronic systems.Two-dimensional(2D)materials are supposed to play an important role in these two paths.In More Moore,the ultimate thin thickness and the dangling-bond-free surface of 2D channels offer excellent gate electrostatics while avoiding the degradation of carrier mobility at the same time,so that the transistors can be further scaled down for higher performance.In More than Moore,devices based on 2D materials can well meet the requirements of electronic systems for functional diversity,like that they can operate at high frequency,exhibit excellent sensitivity to the changes in the surroundings at room temperature,have good mechanical flexibility,and so on.In this review,we present the application of 2D materials in More Moore and More than Moore domains of electronics,outlining their potential as a technological option for logic electronics,memory electronics,radio-frequency electronics,sensing electronics,and flexible electronics.Senfeng Zeng Zhaowu Tang Chunsen Liu Peng Zhou 2021Nano Research2021,14,6:2

11Enhancement of refresh time in quasi-nonvolatile memory by the density of states engineering显示文摘The recently reported quasi-nonvolatile memory based on semi-floating gate architecture has attracted extensive attention thanks to its potential to bridge the large gap between volatile and nonvolatile memory.However,the further extension of the refresh time in quasi-nonvolatile memory is limited by the charge leakage through the p-n junction.Here,based on the density of states engineered van der Waals heterostructures,the leakage of electrons from the floating gate to the channel is greatly suppressed.As a result,the refresh time is effectively extended to more than 100 s,which is the longest among all previously reported quasi-nonvolatile memories.This work provides a new idea to enhance the refresh time of quasi-nonvolatile memory by the density of states engineering and demonstrates great application potential for high-speed and low-power memory technology.Zhaowu Tang Chunsen Liu Senfeng Zeng Xiaohe Huang Liwei Liu Jiayi Li Yugang Jiang David Wei Zhang Peng Zhou 2021Journal of Semiconductors2021,42,2:1
