| 5 | On the robustness of EEG tensor completion methods显示文摘During the acquisition of electroencephalographic(EEG) signals, data may be missing or corrupted by noise and artifacts. To reconstruct the incomplete data, EEG signals are firstly converted into a three-order tensor(multi-dimensional data) of shape time × channel × trial. Then, the missing data can be efficiently recovered by applying a tensor completion method(TCM).However, there is not a unique way to organize channels and trials in a tensor, and different numbers of channels are available depending on the EEG setting used, which may affect the quality of the tensor completion results. The main goal of this paper is to evaluate the robustness of EEG completion methods with several designed parameters such as the ordering of channels and trials, the number of channels, and the amount of missing data. In this work, the results of completing missing data by several TCMs were compared. To emulate different scenarios of missing data, three different patterns of missing data were designed.Firstly, the amount of missing data on completion effects was analyzed, including the time lengths of missing data and the number of channels or trials affected by missing data. Secondly, the numerical stability of the completion methods was analyzed by shuffling the indices along channels or trials in the EEG data tensor. Finally, the way that the number of electrodes of EEG tensors influences completion effects was assessed by changing the number of channels. Among all the applied TCMs, the simultaneous tensor decomposition and completion(STDC) method achieves the best performance in providing stable results when the amount of missing data or the electrode number of EEG tensors is changed. In other words, STDC proves to be an excellent choice of TCM, since permutations of trials or channels have almost no influence on the complete results. The STDC method can efficiently complete the missing EEG signals. | 8 | PRECISE LEVELING OF THE VERY LONG QINLING MOUNTAIN TUNNEL显示文摘The Qinling tunnel with length of 18. 488km is located on the railway line from Xi’ an (Shanxi Province) to Ankan (Sichuan Province) in the middle of Qinling moun- tain. It is the longest double track railway tunnel in China and takes the third place in the world. According to the design, the break-through error in vertical direction caused by the al- timetric control surveying is limited to 18mm for the case of one piercing face. Because the leveling route reaches over 120km in length and must go over two mountains in 2 800m height, the first-order precise leveling and precise gravity measurement should be carried out in the construction stage. In this paper the field leveling approach, the application of new technology,some experience as well as the office calculation with final results analysis are in- troduced. By meticulous planning, organization and observation, the final accuracy of vertical difference between two tunnel end points is only 8mm, and it provides reliable surveying guarantee for this great tunnel engineering. Finally it is pointed out that this vertical differ- ence distinguishes obviously from the primary measurement result as high as 114mm. | 10 | Effective mass approach for a Bose-Einstein condensate in an optical lattice显示文摘We study the stationary and propagating solutions for a Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) in a periodic optical potential with an additional confining optical or magnetic potential. Using an effective mass approximation we express the condensate wave function in terms of slowly-varying envelopes modulating the Bloch modes of the optical lattice. In the limit of a weak nonlinearity, we derive a nonlinear Schrdinger equation for propagation of the envelope function which does not contain the rapid oscillation of the lattice. We then consider the ground state solutions in detail in the regime of weak, moderate and strong nonlinear interactions. We describe the form of solution which is appropriate in each regime, and place careful limits on the validity of each type of solution. | 15 | Quantitative study on hydrocarbon expulsion mechanism based on micro-fracture显示文摘The significance of source rocks for oil and gas accumulation has been indisputably acknowledged.Moreover,it has been gradually realized that there is difference between hydrocarbon generation capacity and hydrocarbon expulsion capacity,and this has prompted research on hydrocarbon expulsion efficiency.However,these studies dominantly highlight the results of hydrocarbon expulsion,and investigation into the corresponding process and mechanism is primarily from a macroscopic perspective.Despite its wide acceptance as the most direct hydrocarbon expulsion mode,hydrocarbon expulsion through micro-fractures is still not sufficiently understood.Therefore,this study obtains observations and performs experiments on two types of source rocks(mudstones and shales)of the Chang 7 oil group of the Yanchang Formation in Ordos Basin,China.Microscopy reveals that organic matter is non-uniformly distributed in both types of source rocks.Specifically,mudstones are characterized by a cluster-like organic matter distribution,whereas shales are characterized by a layered organic matter distribution.Thermal evolution simulation experiments demonstrate that the hydrocarbon generation process is accompanied by the emergence of micro-fractures,which are favorable for hydrocarbon expulsion.Moreover,based on the theories of rock physics and fracture mechanics,this study establishes micro-fracture development models for both types of source rocks,associated with the calculation of the fracture pressure that is needed for the initiation of fracture development.Furthermore,the relationship between the fluid pressure,fracture pressure,and micro-fracture expansion length during micro-fracture development is quantitatively explored,which helps identify the micro-fracture expansion length.The results indicate that the development of micro-fractures is commonly impacted by the morphology and distribution pattern of the organic matter as well as the mechanical properties of the source rocks.The micro-fractures in turn further affect the hydrocarbon expulsion capacity of the source rocks.The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical and practical guidance for the exploration and exploitation of tight oil and shale oil. | Kaiming Su Jungang Lu Huanxu Zhang Shijia Chen Yong Li Zhenglu Xiao Wen Qiu Meimei Han | 2020 | Geoscience Frontiers2020,11,6: | 1 |

| 17 | Factors controlling the reservoir accumulation of Triassic Chang 6 Member in Jiyuan-Wuqi area,Ordos Basin,NW China显示文摘In the Triassic Yanchang Formation, Jiyuan-Wuqi area, Ordos Basin, the Chang 6 reservoir is contacted to the Chang 7 high-quality source rock, but the oil pools are unevenly distributed, and complex in oil and water distribution. Through cores observation and fracture statistics, combined with comprehensive analyses of physical property, mercury injection, logging and geochemical data, and comparisons of the sandbodies scales, reservoir physical properties, argillaceous laminae and fractures between source and reservoir in the eastern and western oil-bearing areas and in the central water producing area, it is found that the hydrocarbon accumulation patterns are different in the eastern, central and western areas, and the characteristics of hydrocarbon migration under the background of double-provenance were sorted out. The study results show that the crude oil in the eastern area has different Pr/Ph and sterane distribution from that in the western area. The oil and gas primarily migrated vertically. The high-quality source rocks and favorable source-reservoir-cap combinations lay the foundation for large-scale oil and gas accumulations. Vertically, the oil and gas enrichment is controlled by the scale of sandbody and the difference of physical properties, while on the plane, it is controlled by the connectivity of sandbodies, the argillaceous laminae between source rock and reservoir, the reservoir physical property and the fractures. The sandbodies of oil-rich zones in the eastern and western areas have large thickness, low shale content, good physical properties, weak heterogeneity, few argillaceous laminae and abundant fractures, all of which are favorable for the vertical migration and accumulation of oil and gas. In contrast, in the middle area with converging provenances, the reservoirs, composed of thin sandbodies, features rapid variation in lithology and physical properties, strong heterogeneity, poor continuity of sandbodies, abundant argillaceous laminae between source rock and reservoir, and few fractures, makes it difficult for the oil and gas to migrate vertically, and results in low oil enrichment degree ultimately. According to the results,late-maturing daylily cultivar Jinlei No. 1 exhibited good agronomic traits and strong resistance. The first day of harvest of Jinlei No. 1 was more than 10 d later compared with Malian daylily and Xian daylily; harvest duration of Jinlei No. 1 was 4 d longer than Malian daylily and 5 d than Xian daylily; the yield of Jinlei No. 1 was improved by 3. 41% and 5. 16% compared with Malian daylily and Xian daylily,respectively.
