| 1 | Self-Healing Liquid Metal Magnetic Hydrogels for Smart Feedback Sensors and High-Performance Electromagnetic Shielding显示文摘Hydrogels exhibit potential applications in smart wearable devices because of their exceptional sensitivity to various external stimuli.However,their applications are limited by challenges in terms of issues in biocompatibility,custom shape,and self-healing.Herein,a conductive,stretchable,adaptable,self-healing,and biocompatible liquid metal GaInSn/Ni-based composite hydrogel is developed by incorporating a magnetic liquid metal into the hydrogel framework through crosslinking polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)with sodium tetraborate.The excellent stretchability and fast self-healing capability of the PVA/liquid metal hydrogel are derived from its abundant hydrogen binding sites and liquid metal fusion.Significantly,owing to the magnetic constituent,the PVA/liquid metal hydrogel can be guided remotely using an external magnetic field to a specific position to repair the broken wires with no need for manual operation.The composite hydrogel also exhibits sensitive deformation responses and can be used as a strain sensor to monitor various body motions.Additionally,the multifunctional hydrogel displays absorption-dominated electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding properties.The total shielding performance of the composite hydrogel increases to~62.5 dB from~31.8 dB of the pure PVA hydrogel at the thickness of 3.0 mm.The proposed bioinspired multifunctional magnetic hydrogel demonstrates substantial application potential in the field of intelligent wearable devices. | Biao Zhao Zhongyi Bai Hualiang Lv Zhikai Yan Yiqian Du Xiaoqin Guo Jincang Zhang Limin Wu Jiushuai Deng David Wei Zhang Renchao Che | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,6: | 3 |
| 2 | Three dimensional nano-LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4@C/CNT as cathode materials for high-rate lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Three dimensional(3D) nano-LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4@C/CNT composite was successfully synthesized by an oleylamine-assisted solvothermal method. The prepared composite showed excellent electrochemical performance, especially superior high rate capability. It could deliver a specific discharge capacity of103.1 mAh/g, even at 80 C. The superior high rate performance of the as-prepared LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4@C/CNT electrode is attributed to its unique 3D conducting network:(1) the prepared LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4@C active particles were in nano-scale with a size of 30-50 nm;(2) LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4 nanoparticles were uniformly coated by amorphous carbon with a thickness of 3 nm;(3) the graphitized conductive CNTs were dispersed homogenously among the LiMn_(0.6)Fe_(0.4)PO_4@C active particles. | 3 | Large Signal Statistical Model Oriented Parameter Extraction Method for GaN High Electron Mobility Transistors显示文摘Efficient parameter extraction method is essential to establish large signal statistical model. This paper presents an automatic parameter extraction method of I-V model for Gallium nitride(GaN) High electron mobility transistors(HEMTs) large signal statistical model. To accurate modeling the statistical characterization, all of 53 parameters in an I-V model are considered. In order to realize automatic parameter extraction, the model parameters are divided into blocks according to their physical meaning to reduce the complexity of the I-V model. Different parameter blocks are extracted separately by fitting the pulsed I-V transfer characteristic curves of the device at different quiescent bias points. A large signal statistical model for 0.25μm GaN HEMTs process has been established by using the proposed method after measuring 34 GaN HEMTs from 10 batches. | 5 | Prestin-Mediated Frequency Selectivity Does not Cover Ultrahigh Frequencies in Mice显示文摘In mammals,the piezoelectric protein,Prestin,endows the outer hair cells(OHCs)with electromotility(eM),which confers the capacity to change cellular length in response to alterations in membrane potential.Together with basilarmembrane resonance and possible stereociliary motility,Prestin-based OHC eM lays the foundation for enhancing cochlear sensitivity and frequency selectivity.However,it remains debatable whether Prestin contributes to ultrahigh-frequency hearing due to the intrinsic nature of the cel's low-pass features.The low-pass_property of mouse OHC eM is based on the finding that eM magnitude dissipates within the frequency bandwidth of human speech.In this study,we examined the role of Prestin in sensing broad-range frequencies(4-80 kHz)in mice that use ultrasonic hearing and vocalization(to>100 kHz)for social communication.The audiometric measurements in mice showed that ablation of Prestin did not abolish hearing at frequencies>40 kHz.Acoustic associative behavior tests confirmed that Prestin-knockout mice can learn ultrahigh-frequency sound-coupled tasks,similar to control mice.Ex vivo cochlear Ca2+imaging experiments demonstrated that without Prestin,the OHCs still exhibit ultrahigh-frequency transduction,which in contrast,can be abolished by a universal cation channel blocker,Gadolinium.In vivo salicylate treatment disrupts hearing at frequencies<40 kHz but not ultrahigh-frequency hearing.By pharmacogenetic manipulation,we showed that specific ablation of the OHCs largely abolished hearing at frequencies>40 kHz.These findings demonstrate that cochlear OHCs are the target cells that support ultrahigh-frequency transduction,which does not require Prestin. | Jie Li Shuang Liu Chenmeng Song Tong Zhu Zhikai Zhao Wenzhi Sun Yi Wang Lei Song Wei Xiong | 2022 | Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,7: | 1 |
