| 1 | Inhibition of inflammatory mediator release from microglia can treat ischemic/hypoxic brain injury显示文摘Interleukin-1α and interleukin-1β aggravate neuronal injury by mediating the inflammatory reaction following ischemic/hypoxic brain injury. It remains unclear whether interleukin-1α and interleukin-1β are released by microglia or astrocytes. This study prepared hippocampal slices that were subsequently subjected to oxygen and glucose deprivation. Hematoxylin-eosin staining verified that neurons exhibited hypoxic changes. Results of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay found that interleukin-1α and interleukin-1β participated in this hypoxic process. Moreover, when hypoxic injury occurred in the hippocampus, the release of interleukin-1α and interleukin-1β was mediated by the P2X4 receptor and P2X7 receptor. Immunofluorescence staining revealed that during ischemia/hypoxia, the P2X4 receptor, P2X7 receptor, interleukin-1α and interleukin-1β expression was detectable in rat hippocampal microglia, but only P2X4 receptor and P2X7 receptor expression was detected in astrocytes. Results suggested that the P2X4 receptor and P2X7 receptor, respectively, mediated interleukin-1α and interleukin-1β released by microglia, resulting in hippocampal ischemic/hypoxic injury. | 2 | Bottlenecks and Countermeasures of High-Penetration Renewable Energy Development in China显示文摘China has become the world’s largest producer and consumer of energy,and ranks first in its wind and solar power installation capacity.However,serious wind and solar curtailment in China has significantly hindered the development and utilization of renewable energy.To address problems in the consumption of renewable energy,this paper analyzes four key factors affecting the capacity of power generated from renewable energy sources:power balance,power regulation performance,transmission capacity,and load level.Focusing on these bottlenecks,we propose seven solutions:centralized and distributed development of renewable energy,improving the peak-load regulation flexibility of thermal power,increasing the proportion of gas turbines and pumped-hydropower storage,construction of transmission channels and a flexible smart grid developing demand response and virtual power plants,adopting new energy active support and energy storage,and establishing appropriate policies and market mechanisms.The Chinese Government and energy authorities have issued a series of policies and measures,and in the past three years,China has had remarkable achievements in the adoption of renewable energy.The rate of idle wind capacity decreased from 17%in 2016 to 7%in 2018,and that of solar decreased from 10%in 2016 to 3%in 2018. | Jizhen Liu Qinghua Wang Ziqiu Song Fang Fang | 2021 | Engineering2021,7,11: | 4 |

| 4 | KLF7 promotes preadipocyte proliferation via activation of the Akt signaling pathway by Cis-regulating CDKN3显示文摘Krüppel-like transcription factor 7(KLF7)promotes preadipocyte proliferation;however,its target gene in this process has not yet been identified.Using KLF7 ChIP-seq analysis,we previously showed that a KLF7-binding peak is present upstream of the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 3 gene(CDKN3)in chicken preadipocytes.In the present study,we identify CDKN3 as a target gene of KLF7 that mediates the effects of KLF7 on preadipocyte proliferation.Furthermore,5′-truncating mutation analysis shows that the minimal promoter is located between nt–160 and nt–7(relative to the translation initiation codon ATG)of CDKN3.KLF7 overexpression increases CDKN3 promoter activity in the DF-1 and immortalized chicken preadipocyte(ICP1)cell lines.Deletion of the putative binding site of KLF7 abolishes the promotive effect of KLF7 overexpression on CDKN3 promoter activity.Moreover,CDKN3 knockdown and overexpression assays reveal that CDKN3 enhances ICP1 cell proliferation.Flow cytometry analysis shows that CDKN3 accelerates the G1/S transition.Furthermore,we find that KLF7 promotes ICP1 cell proliferation via Akt phosphorylation by regulating CDKN3.Taken together,our results suggest that KLF7 promotes preadipocyte proliferation by activating the Akt signaling pathway by cis-regulating CDKN3,thus driving the G1/S transition. | Ziqiu Jia Zhao Jin Shuli Shao Hu Xu Wen Li Mahmood Khan Weiyu Wang Weiwei Zhang Yingning Sun | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,10: | 2 |

| 9 | Study on anisotropy of Longmaxi shale using hydraulic fracturing experiment显示文摘Hydraulic fracturing reservoir reconstruction technology is crucial in the development of shale gas exploitation techniques.Large quantities of high-pressure fluids injected into shale reservoirs significantly alter compressional(P)and shear(S)wave velocities,rock mechanical parameters,and anisotropic characteristics.In this study,differentiated hydraulic fracturing petrophysical experiments were carried out on Longmaxi Formation shale under pseudo-triaxial stress loading conditions.The effects of stress loading methods,and water-rock physical and chemical reactions on P-and S-wave velocities and rock mechanical parameters were compared.The experimental results showed that isotropic stress loading may increase the P-and Swave velocities and Young’s modulus of dry shale kldnsample.Furthermore,it may lead to a weakening of the corresponding anisotropy.In contrast,differential stress loading was able to improve the anisotropy of Young’s modulus and accelerate the decrease in the compressive strength of shale in the vertical bedding direction.The water-rock physical and chemical reactions prompted by hydraulic fracturing was found to'soften'shale samples and reduce Young’s modulus.The influence of this'soften'effect on the compressional and shear wave velocities of shale was negligible,whilst there was a significant decrease in the anisotropy characteristics of Thomsen parameters,Young’s modulus,and Poisson’s ratio.The negative linear relationship between the Poisson’s ratios of the shale samples was also observed to lose sensitivity to stress loading,as a result of the'soften'effect of fracturing fluid on shale.The results of this study provide a reliable reference point and data support for future research on the mechanical properties of Longmaxi shale rocks. | Hongyu ZHAI Xu CHANG Wei ZHU Xinglin LEI Ziqiu XUE | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,2: | 1 |
| 10 | Effect of ultrasound with methylene blue as sound sensitive agent on virus inactivation显示文摘The goal of this paper is to explore a method for virus inactivation based on ultrasonic treatment,and on this basis,to explore the synergistic effect of methylene blue as a sonosensitizer in virus inactivation.The titer of human parainfluenza virus type 3(HPIV3),Autographacaliforinica nuclear polyhedrosis virus carried a green fluorescent reporter gene(AcNPV-GFP)and Enterovirus group D 68(EV-D68)were determined by plaque assays or TCID50 methods after treatment by MB combined with illumination(MB photochemical,MBP)or ultrasonic excitation.Different ultrasonic power and time,MB concentration gradient were set to determine the best antiviral combination.For the enveloped virus HPIV3 and AcNPV-GFP,pure ultrasonic or MBP treatment could reduce viral titer more than 104,and ultrasonic combined with MB could completely inactivate HPIV3 and AcNPV-GFP in 5min while traditional MBP methods could only reduce viral titer about 10X.For the nonenveloped virus EV-D68,pure ultrasonic or MBP treatment only reduced the viral titer about 102,but ultrasonic combined with MB treatment could reduce the viral titer about 103 in 5min and completely inactive EV-D68 in 10min(reduced 105).Compared with MBP method and pure ultrasonic inactivation,ultrasonic combined with MB has better inactivation effect on either enveloped or non-enveloped viruses,and the appropriate combination of parameters is expected to be a new blood transfusion transmitted virus inactivation method. | Nan Lu Yunbo Tian Lan Wei Guangyuan Zhang Chengbing Xie Tao He Yongzhu Xu Ziqiu Hu Guixue Wang | 2023 | Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2023,,1: | 1 |
