Evaluation of Climatic Comfort of Living Environment based on Age Differentials in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area显示文摘Somatosensory comfort is mainly determined by the Temperature and Humidity Index(THI)with Wind Efficiency Index(WEI),but this conventional usage of these indicators does not capture the age-related differentials. Here we resolved this gap with a modification of the climatic comfort definition and method in a national standard, denoted as the Relative Climate Sensitive Index(RCSI),which incorporated the age-related vulnerability scores determined through online questionnaires with a scoring method, for each of the age-related and adaptive climatic comfort responses to changes in residence with Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)region as an example.First, the result showed that the human comfort of living environment decreased with age in the BTH region, implicating age obviously impacted comfort, and weak adaptability made the elderly the relatively most high-risk group-their suitable region was less than a quarter of the whole study region.Second the adverse effects of persistent hot weather on comfort, indicating global warming as the leading driver of dwindling comfort over recent years. As the warming was more significant in the southeastern part, all these forces combined had there a hotspot, appealing for extra attention.Last this improved evaluation accorded with actual situation to captured high-risk groups with their distributions. | Siyu Liu Buju Long Zhihua Pan Fei Lun Yu Song Weiying Yuan Na Huang Ziyuan Zhang Shangqian Ma | 2020 | Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2020,6,1: | 1

Single-cell transcriptomic atlas of goat ovarian aging显示文摘Background The ovaries are one of the first organs that undergo degenerative changes earlier in the aging process, and ovarian aging is shown by a decrease in the number and quality of oocytes. However, little is known about the molecular mechanisms of female age-related fertility decline in different types of ovarian cells during aging, especially in goats. Therefore, the aim of this study was to reveal the mechanisms driving ovarian aging in goats at single-cell resolution. Results For the first time,we surveyed the single-cell transcriptomic landscape of over 27,000 ovarian cells from newborn, young and aging goats, and identified nine ovarian cell types with distinct gene-expression signatures.Functional enrichment analysis showed that ovarian cell types were involved in their own unique biological processes, such as Wnt beta-catenin signalling was enriched in germ cells, whereas ovarian steroidogenesis was enriched in granulosa cells(GCs).Further analysis showed that ovarian aging was linked to GCs-specific changes in the antioxidant system, oxidative phosphorylation, and apoptosis.Subsequently,we identified a series of dynamic genes, such as AMH,CRABP2,THBS1 and TIMP1,which determined the fate of GCs.Additionally,FOXO1,SOX4,and HIF1A were identified as significant regulons that instructed the differentiation of GCs in a distinct manner during ovarian aging. Conclusions This study revealed a comprehensive aging-associated transcriptomic atlas characterizing the cell typespecific mechanisms during ovarian aging at the single-cell level and offers new diagnostic biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets for age-related goat ovarian diseases. | Dejun Xu Shuaifei Song Fuguo Wang Yawen Li Ziyuan Li Hui Yao Yongju Zhao Zhongquan Zhao | 2024 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2024,15,1: | 0
Multiphase-field simulation of austenite reversion in medium-Mn steels显示文摘Medium-Mn steels have attracted immense attention for automotive applications owing to their outstanding combination of high strength and superior ductility. This steel class is generally characterized by an ultrafine-grained duplex microstructure consisting of ferrite and a large amount of austenite.Such a unique microstructure is processed by intercritical annealing, where austenite reversion occurs in a fine martensitic matrix. In the present study, austenite reversion in a medium-Mn alloy was simulated by the multiphase-field approach using the commercial software MICRESS®coupled with the thermodynamic database TCFE8 and the kinetic database MOBFE2.In particular,a faceted anisotropy model was incorporated to replicate the lamellar morphology of reversed austenite. The simulated microstructural morphology and phase transformation kinetics(indicated by the amount of phase)concurred well with experimental observations by scanning electron microscopy and in situ synchrotron high-energy X-ray diffraction, respectively. | Yan Ma Rui Zheng Ziyuan Gao Ulrich Krupp Hai-wen Luo Wenwen Song olfgang Bleck | 2021 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2021,28,5: | 0
Temperature and Tumor Microenvironment Dual Responsive Mesoporous Magnetic Nanospheres for Magnetothermal Effect-Induced Cancer Theranostics显示文摘The development of smart drug delivery systems(SDDSs)based on engineered nanomaterials is important for clinical applications.Nevertheless, controllable administration of chemotherapeutic drugs for deep tumors and the avoidance of side effects caused by off-targeting during delivery remain a great challenge.Herein,a stimulus-responsive system of mesoporous nanospheres(composed of Cu@Fe_(2)C@mSiO_(2))with good magnetothermal effect is introduced into the tumor microenvironment. This system plays an important role in image-guided controllable targeted drug delivery that is independent of tumor depth.Aggregation-induced emission luminogen-based fluorescence imaging and magnetic resonance imaging were utilized since these techniques visualize the delivery process in real time.In addition, the degraded nanocarriers showed high catalytic activity for Fenton and Fenton-like reactions, upregulating the level of hydroxyl radicals(•OH)in cancer cells to realize chemodynamic therapy. The induced•OH led to the overexpression of pho-STAT3,activating the STAT3 signaling pathway, eventually inducing cancer cell apoptosis.Through metabolic monitoring, this SDDS is removed from the body after its degradation in vivo. The synergistically enhanced therapeutic effect was obtained in the chemo-chemodynamic therapy of 4T1 tumor-bearing mice, offering a platform for efficient cancer therapy with a personalized theranostic strategy. | Zhiyi Wang Shuren Wang Xiaoguang Zhang Ziyuan Li Zeeshan Ali Donghai Yu Hongtao Zhang Fugeng Sheng Song Gao Yanglong Hou | 2023 | CCS Chemistry2023,5,2: | 0
Nanoengineered polypeptides from tetraphenylethylene-functionalized N-carboxyanhydride: Synthesis, self-assembly and intrinsic aggregation-induced emission显示文摘Ring-opening polymerization of N-carboxyanhydrides(NCAs)bearing pendant groups creates functional polypeptides. In this paper,we report the design, synthesis and polymerization of tetraphenylethylene(TPE)-modified NCA,which is used to incorporate aggregation-induced emission(AIE)-active segments into polypeptides.Specifically,we attempted the synthesis of amphiphilic methoxy poly(ethyleneglycol)-block-poly(γ-benzyl-L-glutamate)-block-poly(γ-4-(1,2,2-triphenylvinyl)benzyl-L-glutamate)(PEG-PBLG-PTPELG),which had well-controlled molecular weight and narrow polydispersity. The hydrophilic PEG and hydrophobic PBLG-PTPELG assembled into micelles in aqueous solution with diameter around 70 nm,displaying AIE at 480 nm.Our work demonstrates that the TPE-modified NCA is applicable for the preparation of the AIE-active polypeptides, integrating the AIE luminogens into the polypeptides which may offer unique opportunities for tuning AIE properties by adjusting the composition and conformation of polypeptides. We preliminarily explored the use of the amphiphilic polypeptides for the formulation of doxorubicin-containing micelles that can potentially be used for real-time monitoring of the nanomedicine distribution. | Xu Wang Zihao Zhao Tianrui Xue Zhengzhong Tan Ziyuan Song Shiqi Wei Yang Bo Ying Wang Jianjun Cheng | 2021 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2021,31,4: | 0
Models and performance of SBAS and PPP of BDS显示文摘Satellite Based Augmentation System(SBAS)is one of the services provided by the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS).It broadcasts four types of diferential corrections to improve user application performance. These corrections include the State Space Representation(SSR)based satellite orbit/clock corrections and ionospheric grid corrections, and the Observation Space Representation(OSR)based partition comprehensive corrections. The algorithms generating these SBAS corrections are not introduced in previous researches, and the user SBAS positioning performance with the contribution of BDS-3 has not been evaluated. In this paper,we present the BDS SBAS algorithms for these diferential corrections in detail.Four types of Precise Point Positioning(PPP)function models for BDS Dual-Frequency(DF)and Single-Frequency(SF)users using the OSR and SSR parameters are also proposed. One week of data in 2020 is collected at 20 reference stations including the observations of both BeiDou-2 Navigation Satellite System(BDS-2)and BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System(BDS-3)satellites,and the PPP under various scenarios are performed using all the datasets and the BDS SBAS broadcast corrections. The results show that the performance of BDS-2/BDS-3 combination is superior to that of BDS-2 only constellation. The positioning errors in Root Mean Square(RMS)for the static DF PPP are better than 8 cm/15 cm in horizontal/vertical directions, while for the static SF PPP are 11 cm/24 cm.In the scenarios of simulated kinematic PPP,three Dimension(3D)positioning errors can reach 0.5 m in less than 10 min for the DF PPP and 30 min for the SF PPP,and the RMSs of the DF and SF PPP are better than 17 cm/21 cm and 20 cm/32 cm in horizontal/vertical directions. In a real-time single-and dual-frequency kinematic positioning test, the positioning errors of all three components can reach 0.5 m within 30 min,and the positioning accuracy after solution convergence in the N,E and U directions is better than 0.3 m. | Junping Chen Yize Zhang Chao Yu Ahao Wang Ziyuan Song Jianhua Zhou | 2022 | Satellite Navigation2022,3,1: | 0
Physical processes determining the distribution patterns of Nemopilema nomurai in the East China Sea显示文摘The giant jellyfish Nemopilema nomurai is the largest and most dangerous jellyfish species in East Asian waters, and the N.nomurai bloom causes serious problem in coastal industries, fisheries, and tourism. In the previous surveys,we found N.nomurai could not be observed in the south of 30°N.In this paper,we analyzed the mechanism of this phenomenon. After exploring the possible impacts of different environmental factors,we found that physical processes are essential to the distribution pattern of N.nomurai rather than biological or chemical factors in the East China Sea.The combination of the location of the initial breeding places of N.nomurai and the current system determine the distribution pattern. This study could provide important insights to the potential control of the giant jellyfish in the Chinese coastal waters. | Song SUN Haochen XIAN Ziyuan HU Xiaoxia SUN Fang ZHANG | 2023 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,6: | 0
Energy inefficiency diagnosis for Android applications: a literature review显示文摘Android applications are becoming increasingly powerful in recent years. While their functionality is still of paramount importance to users, the energy efficiency of these applications is also gaining more and more attention. Researchers have discovered various types of energy defects in Android applications, which could quickly drain the battery power of mobile devices. Such defects not only cause inconvenience to users, but also frustrate Android developers as diagnosing the energy inefficiency of a software product is a non-trivial task. In this work, we perform a literature review to understand the state of the art of energy inefficiency diagnosis for Android applications. We identified 55 research papers published in recent years and classified existing studies from four different perspectives, including power estimation method, hardware component, types of energy defects, and program analysis approach. We also did a cross-perspective analysis to summarize and compare our studied techniques. We hope that our review can help structure and unify the literature and shed light on future research, as well as drawing developers' attention to build energy-efficient Android applications. | Yuxia SUN Jiefeng FANG Yanjia CHEN Yepang LIU Zhao CHEN Song GUO Xinkai CHEN Ziyuan TAN | 2023 | Frontiers of Computer Science2023,17,1: | 0
Accelerated Ring-Opening Polymerization of α-Amino Acid N-Carboxyanhydride via Inorganic Nano-initiators显示文摘While the accelerated polymerization of N-carboxyanhydrides (NCAs) has been utilized to synthesize versatile polypeptide materials in an efficient manner with minimized side reactions, the preparation of polypeptide-based inorganic/organic hybrid materials with the acceleration strategy remained largely unexplored. Herein, we report the accelerated ring-opening polymerization (ROP) of NCAs mediated by amine-modified inorganic nano-initiators, such as mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSN-NH2), which is driven by the cooperative effect of the neighboring α-helical polypeptide chains in a dichloromethane (DCM)/water biphasic system. Well-defined nano-hybrids were prepared within 15 min from non-purified NCA monomers, through in situ purification and subsequent ultrafast polymerization process. NCAs can be rapidly initiated by amino groups of MSN uniformly dispersed at the interface of DCM and water, and subsequently formed the well-defined polypeptides within 15 min. The prepared inorganic/organic nano-hybrid with MSN as the core and polypeptide as the shell adopted spherical morphology and uniform size distribution due to the excellent controllability of ROP. Besides, this system is also suitable for a variety of NCAs and inorganic nano-initiators. This research allows efficient and rapid preparation of inorganic/organic nano-hybrids, and further promotes the extensive application of this material in the biomedical fields. | Junliang Zhu Yunjie He Chenglong Ge Wenting Si Ziyuan Song Lichen Yin | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,19: | 0
Modulation of polymerization rate of N-carboxyanhydrides in a biphasic system显示文摘The recent advances in accelerated polymerization of N-carboxyanhydrides (NCAs) offer an effective strategy to simplify the preparation of polypeptide materials. However, the fine-tuning of polymerization kinetics, which is critical to differentiate the main polymerization and the side reactions, remains largely unexplored. Herein we report the modulation of polymerization rate of NCA in a water/oil biphasic system. By altering the aqueous pH, the initial location of the initiators, and the pK_(a) of initiating amines, we observed the change in polymerization time from several minutes to a few hours. Due to the high interfacial activity and low pKa value, controlled polymerization was observed from multi-amine initiators even if they were initially located in the aqueous phase. This work not only improves our understanding on the biphasic polymerization mechanism, but also facilitates preparation of versatile polypeptide materials. | Guonan Ji Xuetao Zheng Xiangdie Hou Xiao Sun Shijie Wang Xiaohong Li Jianjun Cheng Ziyuan Song | 2024 | Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,1: | 0
