1Laterally Confined Graphene Nanosheets and Graphene/SnO_(2) Composites as High-Rate Anode Materials for Lithium-Ion Batteries显示文摘High-rate anode materials for lithium-ion batteries are desirable for applications that require high power density.We demonstrate the advantageous rate capability of few-layered graphene nanosheets,with widths of 100-200 nm,over micro-scale graphene nanosheets.Possible reasons for the better performance of the former include their smaller size and better conductivity than the latter.Combination of SnO_(2)nanoparticles with graphene was used to further improve the gravimetric capacities of the electrode at high charge-discharge rates.Furthermore,the volumetric capacity of the composites was substantially enhanced compared to pristine graphene due to the higher density of the composites.Zhiyong Wang Hao Zhang Nan Li Zujin Shi Zhennan Gu Gaoping Cao 2010Nano Research2010,3,10:9
2PEGylation of Double-Walled Carbon Nanotubes for Increasing Their Solubility in Water显示文摘Polyethylene glycol(PEG)functionalized double-walled carbon nanotubes(DWNTs)have been synthesized by a[2+1]cycloaddition reaction and characterized by transmission electron microscopy,atomic force microscopy,Raman spectroscopy,thermal gravimetric analysis,and UV-visible spectroscopy.Functionalization affords a large increase in the aqueous solubility of DWNTs.The saturated concentrations of DWNTs functionalized with diazido-terminated PEG800(with a molecular weight of 800)and azido-terminated PEG750 monomethylether(with a molecular weight of 750)are very similar-0.36 and 0.37 mg/mL(DWNTs equivalent concentration),respectively.Haiyu Nie Wei Guo Yuan Yuan Zengpei Dou Zujin Shi Zhen Liu Haifang Wang Yuanfang Liu 2010Nano Research2010,3,2:4
3Electronic effect on the optical properties and sensing ability of AIEgens with ESIPT process based on salicylaldehyde azine显示文摘Two novel AIE-active salicylaldehyde azine(SAA) derivatives with a typical excited-state intramolecular proton transfer(ESIPT) process are prepared by introducing electron-withdrawing and donating groups at para-position of phenolic hydroxyl group(CN-SAA and TPA-SAA). The effect of the proton activity in SAA framework on their optical behaviors is investigated spectroscopically. The results from NMR and solvation measurements show that the proton of phenolic hydroxyl group has higher activity when there are electron-withdrawing groups, and the absorption and fluorescence spectra in buffers with different pH also provide the same results. After inviting F. as a nucleophilic probe, this proton activity difference in CN-SAA and TPA-SAA becomes more obvious. The potential application of both molecules is investigated. TPA-SAA exhibits good quantitative sensing ability towards F. with a fluorescence 'turn-on' mode, whereas the aggregates of TPA-SAA can selectively and sensitively detect Cu2+ in aqueous solution. From these results, a structure-property relationship is established: the occurrence of ESIPT process will become much easier when linking electron-withdrawing groups at the para-position of phenolic hydroxyl group(e.g., CN-SAA),and it is better to introduce electron-donating groups to enhance the sensing ability towards ions(e.g., TPA-SAA). 4Aggregation-enhanced emission and efficient electroluminescence of conjugated polymers containing tetraphenylethene units显示文摘Tetraphenylethene (TPE) is a popular luminogen characterized by aggregation-induced emission and has been widely used to construct solid-state emissive materials. In this work, two thermally stable polymers (P1 and P2) consisting of TPE conjugated to the 2,7-positions of fluorene and carbazole, respectively, are synthesized and characterized. Both polymers are weakly fluorescent in solutions but show greatly enhanced emission as the aggregate formation, presenting an aggregation-enhanced emission feature. Two kinds of polymer light-emitting diodes are fabricated utilizing P1 and P2 as emitters (EML) (device I: ITO/PEDOT:PSS (45 nm)/PVK:EML (1:1 wt%, 55 nm)/TPBI (38 nm)/Ca:Ag; device II: ITO/PEDOT:PSS (45 nm)/ PVK:OXD-7:EML (3:1:3 wt%, 55 nm)/TPBI (38 nm)/Ca:Ag). 5Controlled release and enhanced antibacterial activity of salicylic acid by hydrogen bonding with chitosan显示文摘Microcapsules of salicylic acid(SA)with chitosan were prepared by spray drying method.Various analytical methods were used to characterize the nature of microcapsules.Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)confirmed the presence of intermolecular interactions between chitosan and SA.Particle size analysis showed that the average size of microcapsules ranged from 2 to 20 μm.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)studies indicated that the microspheres were spherical and had a relatively smooth surface.Microbiological assay of antibacterial activity for SA and its microcapsules was measured using different bacterial strains.It was found that the antibacterial activity of SA was improved after the formation of microcapsules.The in vitro release profile showed that the microcapsules could control SA release from 1 h to 4 h.Kinetic studies revealed that the release pattern follows Korsmeyer–Peppas mechanism.Enhanced antibacterial activity of the SA microcapsules was attributed to the synergistic effects of intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions N–H?O and O–H?O_C between SA and chitosan.It was also confirmed by quantum chemical calculation.Zujin Yang Yanxiong Fang HongbingJi 2016Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,3:2

7Self-healing hyperbranched polytriazoles prepared by metal-free click polymerization of propiolate and azide monomers显示文摘The last decade has witnessed the quick develop of self-healing materials. As a newborn strategy, the alternative of irreversible covalent bond formation is, however, to be further developed. In this paper, self-healing hyperbranched poly(aroxycarbonyltriazole)based on such mechanism were prepared by our developed metal-free click polymerization of simplified dipropiolate and triazide. Thanks to their excellent processability and film-forming ability, high quality homogeneous films free from defects were obtained by casting. The cut films could be healed by stacking or pressing the halves together at room temperature and elevated temperature.
