| 1 | Low-temperature catalytic oxidation of NO over Mn-Ce-O_x catalyst显示文摘A series of manganese-cerium oxide catalysts were prepared by different methods and used for low-temperature catalytic oxidation of NO in the presence of excess O2.Their surface properties were evaluated by means of BET and were characterized by using scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffractometer(XRD).The activity test of Mn-Ce-Ox catalysts showed that addition of Ce enhanced the activities of NO oxidation.The most active catalysts with a molar Ce/(Mn+Ce) ratio of 0.3 were prepared by co-precipitation method.The results showed that NO conversion reached 60% at 150 °C with a high space velocity of 50902 h-1.The effect of doping different rare earth oxides was also investigated and the addition of small amount of Ce not only increased the surface area of MnOx but also enhanced the dispersion of Mn species in the catalyst shown by BET,SEM and XRD. | 李华 唐晓龙 易红宏 于丽丽 | 2010 | Journal of Rare Earths2010,28,1: | 14 |

| 5 | Hydrolysis Activities of Resins of Complexes Made from Polysaccharides and Ce^(4+)显示文摘Resins of complexes made from agarose-Ce4+ (RCA-Ce) and chitosan-Ce4+ (RCC-Ce) were prepared. Hydrolysis rates of methamidophos, omethoate and chlorpyrifos treated by RCA-Ce were 32.39%, 27.12% and 46.62%, respectively, those of chlorpyrifos and methamidophos in mung bean sprout juice 38.28% and 35.45%, and that of chlorpyrifos in tea extract 59.76%. Hydrolysis rates of protein in tea extract treated by RCA-Ce increased by 86.46%. RCC-Ce could be employed in the apple juice production. The contents of methamidophos and parathion-methyl in the juice treated by RCC-Ce decreased 58.76% and 71.92%. Furthermore, RCC-Ce was used to clarification for beer by the ways of a column. RCC-Ce could hydrolyze sensitive protein and increase contents of free amino acid in the beer. | 8 | Influence of Cerium on Solidification Microstructure of M2 High Speed Steel显示文摘The influence of Ce on the solidification microstructures of M2 high speed steel was studied. The results show that Ce has the effect of alleviating the segregation of alloying elements such as W and Mo in high speed steel. With the addition of Ce, the amount of eutectic carbides is decreased and the flakes of the carbides are refined. Ce mainly segregates onto the interface between the eutectic carbide and austenite, and a part of Ce enters M 2C carbide. | 11 | Effect of zinc and cerium addition on property of copper-based adsorbents for phosphine adsorption显示文摘A series of copper-based activated carbon (AC) adsorbents were prepared in order to investigate the effect of Zn, Ce addition on Cu-based AC adsorbent for phosphine (PH3) adsorption removal from yellow phosphorous tail gas. N2 adsorption isotherm and X-ray diffrac-tion (XRD) results suggested that the addition of Zn could increase the adsorbent ultramicropores, decrease the adsorbent supermicropores and the adsorbent average pore diameter. Therefore it enhanced the PH3 adsorption capacity. Appropriate amount of Ce addition could promote the reducibility of copper oxide, increase the thermal stability of adsorbent, and therefore enhance the PH3 adsorption capacity. It could be concluded that copper, zinc, and cerium exhibited a strong synergistic effect on the Cu-based AC adsorbents, which enhanced significantly the adsorption capacity of activated carbon. | 12 | Addition of cerium and yttrium to ferritic steel weld metal to improve hydrogen trapping efficiency显示文摘The applicability of Ce and Y as promising candidate elements to form irreversible traps in weld metal was investigated by thermal desorption spectroscopy(TDS) with gas chromatography(GC). The precise nature of the precipitate particles newly formed in the weld metal by the addition of Ce and Y to a certain alloy system was characterized. Moreover,the hydrogen trapping efficiency expressed as the reduction of the diffusible hydrogen in the weld metal was analyzed. The results showed that the addition of Ce and/or Y to this alloy system led to the formation of a mixed type of(Ce,Ti)-based oxide,(Y,Ni)-based carbide,or(Ce,Y,Ti)-based oxide particles. | 14 | Reinforcement of natural rubber latex with silica modified by cerium oxide:preparation and properties显示文摘Variable masses of nano cerium oxide(CeO__2) were added into nano silica(SiO__2) to prepare the well-dispersed SiO_2-CeO_2suspension(SiO_2-CeO_2), cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB) was used to adjust the compatibility of SiO_2-CeO_2 with rubber matrix, then SiO_2-CeO_2 modified by CTAB and curing formulas were mixed with fresh natural rubber(NR) latex to prepare NR/SiO_2-CeO_2 nanocomposites that contained 0–10 parts of CeO_2 by a new emulsion compounding method. The morphologies, cure characteristics, mechanical properties and thermal-oxidative stability of NR/SiO_2-CeO_2 nanocomposites were investigated. The results revealed that the presence of CeO_2 in NR/SiO_2-CeO_2 nanocomposites was favorable for enhancing the interaction between NR matrix and fillers, helped to get smaller SiO_2-CeO_2 particles with narrower particle size distribution, further improved the crosslink densities and mechanical properties of NR/SiO_2-CeO_2 nanocomposites vulcanizates. Meanwhile, the addition of CeO_2 increased the active energy at least 4.66%, obviously improved the thermal-oxidative aging-inhibiting properties of NR/SiO_2-CeO_2 nanocomposites.
