| 1 | Practical implementation of Hilbert-Huang Transform algorithm显示文摘Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT) is a newly developed powerful method for nonlinearand non-stationary time series analysis. The empirical mode decomposition is the key part of HHT,while its algorithm was protected by NASA as a US patent, which limits the wide application among thescientific community. Two approaches, mirror periodic and extrema extending methods, have been de-veloped for handling the end effects of empirical mode decomposition. The implementation of the HHT isrealized in detail to widen the application. The detailed comparison of the results from two methods withthat from Huang et al. (1998, 1999), and the comparison between two methods are presented. Gener-ally, both methods reproduce faithful results as those of Huang et al. For mirror periodic method(MPM), the data are extended once forever. Ideally, it is a way for handling the end effects of theHHT, especially for the signal that has symmetric waveform. The extrema extending method (EEM)behaves as good as MPM, and it is better than MPM for the signal that has strong asymmetric wave-form. | 2 | Preparation and Properties of a New Composite of Epoxy Emulsion (EEM) Modified Cement显示文摘High performance cement based composite materials was prepared by adding epoxy emulsion. The epoxy emulsion was synthesized with epoxy phosphoric acid ester and poly-glycol in laboratory. This epoxy emulsion has advantages over other emulsion, such as dehydrated slightly, and well film formation abilities. The mechanical properties, corruptness resistance and structure of ep-oxy emulsion modified cement mortars were studied. Experimental results show that the mechanical properties of modified cement mortars are slightly increased with increasing epoxy emulsion content, especially the flexure strength. The corruptness resistance of all modified mortars is better than the unmodified mortar. | 3 | Characterization of chromophoric dissolved organic matter(CDOM) in the East China Sea in autumn using excitationemission matrix(EEM) fluorescence and parallel factor analysis(PARAFAC)显示文摘Samples of chromophoric dissolved organic matter(CDOM)in the East China Sea in autumn(October in 2011)were analyzed by excitation emission matrix(EEM)fluorescence spectroscopy combined with parallel factor analysis(PARAFAC).Three terrestrial humic-like components(C1,C2 and C3)and one protein-like component(C4)were identified.Based on spatial distributions,as well as relationships with salinity,the following assignments were made.The three humic-like components(C1,C2 and C3)showed conservative mixing behavior and came mainly from riverine input.The protein-like component(C4)was considered a combination of autochthonous production and terrestrial inputs and a biologically labile component.Path analysis of samples from the middle and bottom layers revealed that the causal effects on C1 were 78.46%for salinity,and 21.54%for apparent oxygen utilization(AOU);those on C2 were 76.43%for salinity,and 23.57%for AOU;those on C3 were70.49%for salinity,7.01%for Chl-a,and 22.50%for AOU;those on C4 were 55.54%for salinity,14.6%for Chl-a,and29.86%for AOU in middle layer;and those on C4 were 57.37%for salinity,29.02%for Chl-a,and 13.61%for AOU in bottom layer.Results indicated that CDOM in the East China Sea was mainly affected by terrestrial inputs,and microbial activities also played a key role in biogeochemical processes of CDOM.The application of the EEM-PARAFAC model presented a unique opportunity to observe compositional changes in CDOM in the East China Sea.In addition,the humification index(HIX)suggested that CDOM from the East China Sea was less stable and stayed shorter in the environment. | BAI Ying SU RongGuo YAN LiHong YAO Peng SHI XiaoYong WANG XiuLin | 2013 | Science China Chemistry2013,56,12: | 3 |

| 6 | Interaction of Ca^(2+) and soil humic acid characterized by a joint experimental platform of potentiometric titration, UV–visible spectroscopy, and fluorescence spectroscopy显示文摘Rocky desertification has become a major environmental issue in the karst region of southwestern China.Karst rocky desertification was more severe in regions of limestone soil than in adjacent regions of other soils,despite the relatively higher soil organic matter(SOM)content in limestone soil.The underlying mechanism remains ambiguous.We speculated that the geochemical characteristics of limestone soils in the karst region plays an essential role,especially the high calcium content of limestone soil.To test this hypothesis,we collected limestone soil samples from a limestone soil profile in the southwestern China karst region and extracted humic acid(HA)from these limestone soil samples.We investigated the interaction of Ca^(2+)and three HA samples on a joint experimental platform,which consists of an automatic potentiometric titrator,a UV–visible spectrometer,and a Fluorescence spectrometer.HA solutions were titrated by Ca^(2+)and optical spectra of the HA solutions were monitored during the titration experiments.The results indicated that:(1)the interaction of Ca^(2+)and HA is a combined process of adsorption and complexation.Adsorption dominated the overall distribution behavior of Ca^(2+),which could be fit by Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models.Complexation was distinguished only when the concentration of Ca2+is low;(2)the changes of UV–visible spectroscopy and excitation–emission matrix fluorescencespectroscopy spectra of HA samples when they were binding with Ca^(2+)implied the apparent molecular size and structure of HA became larger and more complex;(3)the combination of Ca^(2+)and HA plays an important role in the SOM preservation of limestone soils but the stability of the Ca–HA association was relatively weak.The present study draws attention to maintaining the relatively higher Ca^(2+)concentration in limestone soils in ecologic restoration attempts in karst regions. | Haiming Tang Baohua Xiao Peiwen Xiao | 2021 | Acta Geochimica2021,40,3: | 1 |

| 8 | 利培酮治疗以阳性症状为主的首发女性精神分裂症患者EEM研究显示文摘目的探讨利培酮治疗以阳性症状为主的首发女性精神分裂症患者的探查性眼球活动,为电生理指标在精神科临床的应用提供依据。方法将44例以阳性症状为主的首发女性精神分裂症患者设为研究组,口服利培酮治疗,观察6w,于治疗前及治疗6w末采用阳性与阴性症状评定量表评定患者的精神症状,同时进行探究性眼动分析,测定眼球运动注视点数和反应性探索分;同期随机抽取40例健康体检女性设为对照组,测定眼球运动注视点数和反应性探索分,并与研究组测定结果进行对比分析。结果研究组治疗6w末,阳性与阴性症状量表评分阳性症状分、阴性症状分及总分均较治疗前有显著下降(P<0.01),治疗前后眼球运动注视点数及反应性探索分均显著低于对照组(P均<0.01),但治疗6w末眼球运动注视点数及反应性探索分均显著高于治疗前(P均<0.01)。结论首发女性精神分裂症患者发作期存在明显探查性眼球活动的病理改变,探查性眼球活动异常是首发精神分裂症较特异的生物学标志。随着临床症状的缓解,探查性眼球活动获得部分改善。 | 石玉中 王亚丽 孙伟力 | 2008 | 临床心身疾病杂志2008,14,6: | 1 |

| 14 | Effects of combustion temperature on the optical properties of brown carbon from biomass burning显示文摘Biomass burning has been known as one of main sources of Brown Carbon(BrC)in atmosphere.In this study,by controlling the combustion temperature at 250℃,350℃,and 450℃,the methanol soluble organic carbon(MSOC)and methanol insoluble carbon(MISC)from pine wood burning was collected by impinger.UV–Vis,excitation emission matrix(EEM),TEM and FTIR spectra were applied to investigate the properties of BrC collected.For MSOC at 250℃ and 350℃,all the spectral profiles of UV–Vis absorption and excitation emission matrix are almost the same,while the EEM of MSOC at 450℃ are different from that of the other two.For MISC fuorescence was observed only in the case of 450℃.In the FTIR spectra,with the temperature increasing the peaks associated to the oxygen-contained functions was weakened,indicating the formation of the fuorophores with larger conjugated system,especially aromatic hydrocarbons.Our results show that biomass combustion at low temperature produces more oxygen-riched BrC,which possesses relatively lower light absorption,while at high temperature produces more aromatics hydrocarbons with relatively strong light absorption.The results of this work are helpful to trace the source of brown carbon and optimize biomass energy utilization. | Peng Gao Rule Deng Song Jia Yue Li Xuefei Wang Qian Xing | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,3: | 0 |

Considering the mechanism of in-situ sludge reduction in this r CAA +OSA system,the combined effect of energy uncoupling metabolism and sludge cryptic growth maybe attributed to the higher reduction of biomass. Results show that the maximal sludge reduction in this r CAA + OSA system is obtained when the hydraulic retention time( HRT) is controlled at6. 5 h,which an increase in 16. 67% reduction in excess sludge is achieved compared with OSA system( HRT of 6. 5 h). When compared the performances of effluent qualities,the enhanced nutrient removal efficiencies also can be observed in this r CAA + OSA system. Three-dimensional excitation emission matrix( 3D-EEM)fluorescence spectroscopy is applied to characterize the effluent organic matters( Ef OM) under different HRTs in the OSA and the r CAA+OSA systems. Analyses of 3D-EEM spectra show that more refractory humic-like and fulvic-like components are observed in the effluent of the OSA system.
