| 1 | Sequential blood purification therapy for critical patients with hyperlipidemic severe acute pancreatitis显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the efficacy of sequential blood purification therapy in the treatment of critical patients with hyperlipidemic severe acute pancreatitis.METHODS: Thirty-one intensive care unit(ICU) patients with hyperlipidemic severe acute pancreatitis treated at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University were divided into either a study group(n = 15; July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014) or a control group(n = 16; July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2012) based on the implementation of sequential blood purification therapy. The control group received continuous venous-venous hemofiltration(CVVH) on the basis of conventional treatments, and the therapeutic dose of CVVH was 30 m L/kg per hour. The study group received sequential plasma exchange and CVVH on the basis of conventional treatments. The anticoagulation regimen of CVVH is the regional citrate anticoagulation. Mortality rate on day 28, rates of systemic and local complications, duration of ICU, and time to target serum lipid level, as well as physiologic and laboratory indices were compared between the two groups.RESULTS: The mortality rate on day 28 was significantly lower in the study group than in the control group(13.33% vs 37.50%; P < 0.05). The duration of ICU stay was significantly shorter in the study group than in the control group(7.4 ± 1.35 d vs 9.19 ± 2.99 d, P < 0.05). The time to target serum lipid level was significantly shorter in the study group than in the control group(3.47 ± 0.52 d vs 7.90 ± 1.14 d, P < 0.01). There were no significant differences in the rates of systemic complications and local complications between the two groups(60% vs 50% and 80% vs 81%, respectively). In the comparisons of physiologic and laboratory indices, serum albumin and C-reactive protein were significantly better in the study group than in the control group after treatment(37.8 ± 4.6 g/L vs 38.9 ± 5.7 g/L, and 20.5 ± 6.4 mg/L vs 28.5 ± 7.1 mg/L, respectively, both P < 0.05). | 2 | INTERFACE REACTION IN MAGNETIC MULTILAYERS显示文摘Ta/NiO/NiFe/Ta multilayers were prepared by rf reactive and dc magnetron sputtering. The exchange coupling field (Hex) between NiO and NiFe reached 120Oe. The composition and chemical states at the interface region of NiO/NiFe were studied using the x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and peak decomposition technique. The results show that there are two thermodynamically favorable reactions at NiO/NiFe interface: NiO+Fe=Ni+FeO and 3NiO+2Fe = 3Ni+Fe2O3. The thickness of the chemical reaction as estimated by angle-resolved XPS was about 1-1.5nm. These interface reaction products are magnetic defects, and we believe that the Hex and the coercivity (Hc) of NiO/NiFe are affected by these defects. Moreover, the results also show that there is an 'intermixing layer' at the Ta/NiO (and NiO/Ta) interface due to a thermodynamically favorable reaction: 2Ta+5NiO=5Ni+ Ta2O5. | 4 | 榴辉岩中传统地质温压计新解:来自PT视剖面图的证据显示文摘石榴石-单斜辉石(GC)温度计和石榴石-单斜辉石-多硅白云母(GCP)压力计是确定榴辉岩形成温压条件的最常用方法,二者主要依据石榴石、绿辉石和多硅白云母中相组分之间的交换和转换变质反应。依据MORB成分计算的PT视剖面图表明,在不同榴辉岩矿物组合中,控制3个矿物相成分变化的相组分之间的变质反应不同。在低温含绿泥石、滑石和蓝闪石榴辉岩组合中,石榴石和绿辉石的镁含量主要受到含水矿物脱水反应的控制,并都随温度升高而升高,二者之间的铁镁交换反应并不起主要作用。因此,在自然界含有蓝闪石等含水矿物的低温榴辉岩中,由于绿辉石相对富镁而常常导致GC温度计结果偏低。在含有硬柱石的高压-超高压榴辉岩中,石榴石中的钙含量受到硬柱石的控制,随着压力升高或温度降低,硬柱石含量增加,使石榴石中钙降低,此时石榴石-绿辉石-多硅白云母之间的转换反应对石榴石成分的影响会很微弱,由于石榴石相对贫钙而导致GCP压力计结果偏低。在含有蓝晶石的中温高压-超高压榴辉岩中,矿物成分的变化受到石榴石-绿辉石之间的铁镁交换反应和石榴石-绿辉石-多硅白云母-蓝晶石-石英/柯石英之间的一系列转换反应控制,因此,GC和GCP温压计都能给出相对合理的结果。在低压普通角闪石榴辉岩中,石榴石和绿辉石中的镁含量主要反应压力变化,有时并不指示变质作用温度。在含有蓝闪石等含水矿物的低温榴辉岩中,Thermocalc程序中的平均温压(avPT)方法可以给出比较合适的温度,但压力结果与GCP压力计一样也会偏低一些。在蓝闪石和绿帘石等含水矿物消失后的中温蓝晶石榴辉岩中,avPT方法难以给出合理的PT信息。相对来说,视剖面图方法能够给出最多的PT信息,是目前确定变质岩PT条件的最好方法。 | 魏春景 苏香丽 娄玉行 李艳娟 | 2009 | 岩石学报2009,25,9: | 40 |

| 7 | STUDY ON CLIMATIC FEATURES OF SURFACE TURBULENT HEAT EXCHANGE COEFFICIENTS AND SURFACE THERMAL SOURCES OVER THE QINGHAI-XIZANG PLATEAU显示文摘Using monthly mean of surface turbulent heat exchange coefficients calculated based on datafrom four automatic weather stations(AWS)for thermal equilibrium observation in July 1993—September 1996 and of surface conventional measurements,an empirical expression is establishedfor such coefficients.With the expression,the heat exchange coefficients and the components ofsurface thermal source are computed in terms of 1961—1990 monthly mean conventional data from148 stations over the Qinghai-Xizang(Tibetan)Plateau(QXP)and its adjoining areas,and the1961—1990 climatic means are examined.Evidence suggests that the empirical expression is capable of showing the variation of the heatexchange coefficient in a climatic context.The monthly variation of the coefficients averaged overthe QXP is in a range of 4×10-3-5×10-3.The wintertime values are bigger in the mountainsthan in the valleys and reversal in summer.Surface effective radiation and sensible heat are thedominant factors of surface total heat.In spring surface sensible heat is enhanced quickly,resulting in two innegligible regions of sensible heat,one in the west QXP and the other innorthern Tibet.with their maximums emerging in different months.In spring and summersensible heat and surface effective radiation are higher in the west than in the east.The effectiveradiation peaks for the east in October—December and the whole QXP and in June and October forthe west.The surface total heat of the plateau maximizes in May.minimizes in December andJanuary,and shows seasonal variation more remarkable in the SW compared to the eastern part.Inthe SW plateau the total heat is much more intense than the eastern counterpart in all the seasonsexcept winter.Under the effect of the sensible heat,the total heat on the SW plateau starts toconsiderably intensify in February,which leads to a predominant heating region in the west,withits center experiencing a noticeable westward migration early in summer and twice pronouncedweakening in July and after October.However,the weakening courses are owing to differentcauses.The total heat over the north of QXP is greatly strengthened in March.thus generatinganother significant thermal region in the plateau. | 赵平 陈隆勋 | 2000 | Acta meteorologica Sinica2000,14,1: | 19 |

| 10 | Impact of the Three Gorges Project operation on the water exchange between Dongting Lake and the Yangtze River显示文摘The Three Gorges Project(TGP) is a world known project to utilize and manage the water resources of the Yangtze River. The reservoir stores water at the end of the flood season, and replenishes downstream reaches with water in dry seasons. In addition to such benefits, the TGP has irreversibly changed the hydrological process and the river-lake relation of the middle and lower reaches. In this paper, a hydrodynamic model was established to quantify the impact of the TGP's operation on the water exchange between Dongting Lake and the Yangtze River during 2009-2013. The results indicated that:the operation of the TGP has considerably reduced the peak discharge and the flood volume of the main stream and the Dongting Lake area. The inflow volume from the Yangtze River to Dongting Lake via three outlets decreased by 1.9-3.5 billion m^3/yr, while the outflow volume from Dongting Lake to the Yangtze River at Chenglingji increased by 0.3-1.6 billion m^3 in September and 0.4-0.6 billion m^3 in October,respectively. | 12 | Effects of plasma exchange combined with continuous renal replacement therapy on acute fatty liver of pregnancy显示文摘BACKGROUND: Acute fatty liver of pregnancy (AFLP) in the third trimester or early postpartum period can lead to fatal liver damage. Its traditional therapy is not very effective in facilitating hepatic recovery. The safety and effect of plasma exchange (PE)in combination with continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT) (PE+CRRT) for AFLP still needs evaluation.METHODS: Five AFLP patients with hepatic encephalopathy and renal failure were subjected to PE+CRRT in our department from 2007 to 2012. Their symptoms, physical signs and results were observed, and all relevant laboratory tests were compared before and after PE+CRRT.RESULTS: All the 5 patients were well tolerated to the therapy. Four of them responded to the treatment and showed improvement in clinical symptoms/signs and laboratory results and they were cured and discharged home after the treatment One patient succeeded in bridging to transplantation for slowing down hepatic failure and its complications process after2 treatment sessions. | 13 | The MELD scoring system for predicting prognosis in patients with severe hepatitis after plasma exchange treatment显示文摘BACKGROUND:Hepatic failure caused by severe hepatitis is a clinical syndrome where the major liver functions, particularly detoxification,synthetic functions,and metabolic regulation are impaired to different degrees,and may result in major life-threatening complications such as hepatic encephalopathy,ascites,jaundice,cholestasis, bleeding and hepatorenal syndrome.Plasma exchange(PE) has been found useful in treating patients with fulminant hepatic failure by removing hepatic toxins and replacement of clotting factors,so PE treatment has temporary supportive effects on liver failure caused by severe viral hepatitis.In this study,our aim was to predict the prognosis of patients with severe hepatitis after PE treatment using the end-stage liver disease(MELD)scoring system. METHODS:Two hundred and twenty patients were randomly divided into PE and control groups,and the MELD score was calculated for each patient according to the original formula.The efficacy of PE was assessed by mortality or improvement in biochemical parameters and MELD score. RESULTS:The levels of total bilirubin and international normalised ratio(INR)in patients whose MELD scores were between 30 and 39 were lower than those before PE treatment,as those in patients whose MELD scores were 40 or higher.The mortality of patients in the PE group with MELD scores from 30 to 39 was 50.0%,while it was 83.3% in the control group(P<0.01).The mortality of patients with MELD scores higher than 40 was 90.0%in the PE group and 98.0%in the control group(P>0.05). | 15 | Exchange flux of total gaseous mercury between air and natural water surfaces in summer season显示文摘The exchanges of mercury between surface and air are of significance in the biogeochemical cycling of Hg in the environment, but there are still few reliable data on air/surface exchange in aquatic systems. Field measurement campaigns over seawater surface at Kristineberg Marine Research Station (KMRS) and over Hovg?rds?n River surface at Knobesholm in southwestern Sweden were conducted to measure mercury flux using a dynamic flux chamber technique coupled with automatic mercury vapor-phase analyzers. Both sites show net emissions during summer time. Mercury fluxes measured over both river and seawater surfaces exhibit a consistently diurnal pattern with maximum fluxes during the daytime period and minimum fluxes during the nighttime period. At freshwater site, mercury flux is strongly correlated with the intensity of net solar radiation, and negatively correlated with relative humidity. A typical exponential relationship between mercury flux and water temperature was observed at freshwater measurement site. At seawater site, a strong correlation between mercury flux and intensity of solar radiation was obtained. Based on a statistic approach of sediment transport proposed by the authors, a 1 - D equation of non-e- quilibrium transport for various size group of sediment particles is developed. Then equations to predict change of sediment concentration and the corresponding changes in size distribution of suspended load and bed material are also derived. The conception that changes in size distribution are interrelated to sediment-carrying capacity is expounded. These results reveal the essence of sediment transport of non-uniform sediment particles. In the second part a mathematical model incorporating the mentioned equations to compute deposition and scouring in reservoirs as well as the fluvial processes of river channels has been developed. | 18 | Alkaline polymer electrolyte fuel cells: Principle, challenges, and recent progress显示文摘Polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) have been recognized as a significant power source in future energy systems based on hydrogen. The current PEMFC technology features the employment of acidic polymer electrolytes which, albeit superior to electrolyte solutions, have intrinsically limited the catalysts to noble metals, fundamentally preventing PEMFC from widespread deployment. An effective solution to this problem is to develop fuel cells based on alkaline polymer electrolytes (APEFC), which not only enable the use of non-precious metal catalysts but also avoid the carbonate-precipitate issue which has been troubling the conventional alkaline fuel cells (AFC). This feature article introduces the principle of APEFC, the challenges, and our research progress, and focuses on strategies for developing key materials, including high-performance alkaline polyelectrolytes and stable non-precious metal catalysts. For alkaline polymer electrolytes, high ionic conductivity and satisfactory mechanical property are difficult to be balanced, therefore polymer cross-linking is an ultimate strategy. For non-precious metal catalysts, it is urgent to improve the catalytic activity and stability. | 19 | Role of Kuroshio frontal eddy in exchange between shelf water and Kuroshio water in East China Sea显示文摘Basic patterns of the reversal of the Kuroshio water toward the shelf, intrusion of the shelf mixed waterinto the Kuroshio and uplifting of the near-bottom nutrient-rich water into the upper layer by the pumping of the frontal eddy are analyzed on the basis of satellite infrared images and hydrologic, chemical and biological observations. Results show that the Kuroshio frontal eddies play a very important role in the exchange between the shelf water and the Kuroshio water. The estimation of the average volume transports for three frontal eddy events indicates that the shelf mixed water entrained by an eddy into Kuroshio is 0.44×10~6 m3/s and the reversal Kuroshio water onto the shelf region only 0.04×10~6 m3/s. Along the whole shelf edge, the volume transport of the shelf mixed water entrained by the eddies into the Kuroshio is 1.8×10~6 m3/s. The nutrient (NO3-N) flux pumped to the euphotic zone and input to the continental shelf through a column with 1 m wide is 974 μmol/(s·m) when there is frontal eddy and only 79 μmol/(s·m) in the case of no frontal eddy. | 20 | Use of polymeric sub-micron ion-exchange resins for removal of lead,copper,zinc,and nickel from natural waters显示文摘This research investigated the removal capacity of polymeric sub-micron ion-exchange resins(SMR) for removal of lead, copper, zinc, and nickel from natural waters in competition with natural organic matter(NOM). Polymeric SMR particles were created and tested to ensure that they were adequately dispersed in the solution. They removed little NOM(10%or less) from river water and wastewater, indicating that competition from NOM was not a major concern. SMR were able to remove 82% ± 0.2% of lead, 46% ± 0.6% of copper, 55% ±20% of zinc, and 17% ± 2% of nickel from river water spiked with 500 μg/L of each.
