| 3 | Pathological changes at early stage of multiple organ injury in a rat model of severe acute pancreatitis显示文摘BACKGROUND:Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) is a commonly seen acute abdominal syndrome characterized by sudden onset,rapid progression and high mortality rate.The damage in peripheral organs may be more severe than that in the pancreas,and can even lead to multiple organ dysfunction.It is critical to recognize early pathological changes in multiple organs.This study aimed to assess the early pathological features of damaged organs in a rat model of SAP.METHODS:Thirty clean grade healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 250-300 g were randomly divided into a model control group (n=15) and a sham-operated group (n=15).The SAP rat model was induced by sodium taurocholate.Samples of blood and from multiple organs were collected 3 hours after operation.We assessed the levels of IL-6,TNF-α,PLA2,NO,ET-1,MDA,amylases and endotoxin in blood and observed the early pathological changes in multiple damaged organs.RESULTS:Levels of IL-6,TNF-α,PLA2,NO,ET-1 and MDA in serum and of amylase and endotoxin in plasma of the model control group rats were significantly higher than those of the sham-operated group (P<0.01).Different degrees of pathological change were observed in multiple damaged organs.CONCLUSION:Multiple organ injury may occur at the early stage of SAP in rats. | Zhang, Xi-Ping Zhang, Jie Ma, Mei-Li Cai, Yang Xu, Ru-Jun Xie, Qi Jiang, Xin-Ge Ye, Qian | 2010 | Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2010,9,1: | 33 |
| 4 | Max-Min Adaptive Ant Colony Optimization Approach to Multi-UAVs Coordinated Trajectory Replanning in Dynamic and Uncertain Environments显示文摘Multiple Uninhabited Aerial Vehicles (multi-UAVs) coordinated trajectory replanning is one of the most complicatedglobal optimum problems in multi-UAVs coordinated control. Based on the construction of the basic model of multi-UAVscoordinated trajectory replanning, which includes problem description, threat modeling, constraint conditions, coordinatedfunction and coordination mechanism, a novel Max-Min adaptive Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) approach is presented indetail. In view of the characteristics of multi-UAVs coordinated trajectory replanning in dynamic and uncertain environments,the minimum and maximum pheromone trails in ACO are set to enhance the searching capability, and the point pheromone isadopted to achieve the collision avoidance between UAVs at the trajectory planner layer. Considering the simultaneous arrivaland the air-space collision avoidance, an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) is decided first. Then the trajectory and flight velocityof each UAV are determined. Simulation experiments are performed under the complicated combating environment containingsome static threats and popup threats. | 9 | Estimating forest aboveground biomass using HJ-1 Satellite CCD and ICESat GLAS waveform data显示文摘The ecosystem in northeastern China and the Russian Far East is a hotspot of scientific research into the global carbon balance.Forest aboveground biomass(AGB) is an important component in the land surface carbon cycle.In this study,using forest inventory data and forest distribution data,the AGB was estimated for forest in Daxinganlin in northeastern China by combining charge-coupled device(CCD) data from the Small Satellite for Disaster and Environment Monitoring and Forecast(HJ-1) and Geoscience Laser Altimeter System(GLAS) waveform data from the Ice,Cloud and land Elevation Satellite(ICESat).The forest AGB prediction models were separately developed for different forest types in the research area at GLAS footprint level from GLAS waveform parameters and field survey plot biomass in the Changqing(CQ) Forest Center,which was calculated from forest inventory data.The resulted statistical regression models have a R2=0.68 for conifer and R2=0.71 for broadleaf forests.These models were used to estimate biomass for all GLAS footprints of forest located in the study area.All GLAS footprint biomass coupled with various spectral reflectivity parameters and vegetation indices derived from HJ-1 satellite CCD data were used in multiple regression analyses to establish biomass prediction models(R2=0.55 and R2=0.52 for needle and broadleaf respectively).Then the models were used to produce a forest AGB map for the whole study area using the HJ-1 data.Biomass data obtained from forest inventory data of the Zhuanglin(ZL) Forest Center were used as independent field measurements to validate the AGB estimated from HJ-1 CCD data(R2=0.71).About 80% of biomass samples had an error less than 20 t ha-1,and the mean error of all validation samples is 5.74 t ha-1.The pixel-level biomass map was then stratified into different biomass levels to illustrate the AGB spatial distribution pattern in this area.It was found that HJ-1 wide-swath data and GLAS waveform data can be combined to estimate forest biomass with good precision,and the biomass data can be used as input data for future carbon budget analysis. | GUO ZhiFeng1,CHI Hong1,2 & SUN GuoQing1,3 1State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science,Jointly Sponsored by the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing Normal University,Institute of Remote Sensing Applications,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100101,China 2Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100049,China 3Department of Geography University of Maryland,College Park,MD 20742,USA | 2010 | Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,S1: | 21 |
| 10 | Collision free 4D path planning for multiple UAVs based on spatial refined voting mechanism and PSO approach显示文摘In this paper, a four-dimensional coordinated path planning algorithm for multiple UAVs is proposed, in which time variable is taken into account for each UAV as well as collision free and obstacle avoidance. A Spatial Refined Voting Mechanism(SRVM) is designed for standard Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) to overcome the defects of local optimal and slow convergence.For each generation candidate particle positions are recorded and an adaptive cube is formed with own adaptive side length to indicate occupied regions. Then space voting begins and is sorted based on voting results, whose centers with bigger voting counts are seen as sub-optimal positions. The average of all particles of corresponding dimensions are calculated as the refined solutions. A time coordination method is developed by generating specified candidate paths for every UAV, making them arrive the same destination with the same time consumption. A spatial-temporal collision avoidance technique is introduced to make collision free. Distance to destination is constructed to improve the searching accuracy and velocity of particles. In addition, the objective function is redesigned by considering the obstacle and threat avoidance, Estimated Time of Arrival(ETA), separation maintenance and UAV self-constraints. | 11 | Imaging of multiple myeloma: Current concepts显示文摘Medical imaging is of crucial importance for diagnosis and initial staging as well as for differentiation of multiple myeloma(MM)from other monoclonal plasma cell diseases.Conventional radiography represents the reference standard for diagnosis of MM due to its wide availability and low costs despite its known limitations such as low sensitivity,limited specificity and its inability to detect extraosseous lesions.Besides conventional radiography,newer cross-sectional imaging modalities such as whole-body low-dose computed tomography(CT),whole-body magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and18F-fluorodeoxyglucose(FDG)positron emission tomography(PET)/CT are available for the diagnosis of osseous and extraosseous manifestations of MM.Whole-body low-dose CT is used increasingly,replacing conventional radiography at selected centers,due to its higher sensitivity for the detection of osseous lesions and its ability to diagnose extraosseous lesions.The highest sensitivity for both detection of bone marrow disease and extraosseous lesions can be achieved with whole-body MRI and18F-FDG PET/CT.According to current evidence,MRI is the most sensitive method for initial staging while18F-FDG PET/CT allows monitoring of treatment of MM.There is an evolving role for assessment of treatment response using newer MR imagingtechniques.Future studies are needed to further define the exact role of the different imaging modalities for individual risk stratification and therapy monitoring. | Thorsten Derlin Peter Bannas | 2014 | World Journal of Orthopedics2014,5,3: | 20 |

It resulted from the northeastward subduction of the Early Palaeozoic Qilan oceanic crust beneath the Alxa block. High-pressure metamorphism, which occurred during the subduction, progressed through three stages: the initial stage of medium T-high P,the main stage of temperature decrease and pressure increase, and the lag stage of pressure decrease and temperature increase. We show here that viral infection induces immediate-early NF-kB activation independent of viral nucleic acid-triggered signaling, which triggers a rapid transcriptional induction of bile acid (BA) transporter and rate-limiting biosynthesis enzymes as well as accumulation of intracellular BAs in divergent cell types. The accumulated intracellular BAs activate SRC kinase via the TGR5-GRK-卩-arrestin axis, which mediates tyrosine phosphorylation of multiple antiviral signaling components including RIG-I, VISA/MAVS, MITA/STING, TBK1 and IRF3. The tyrosine phosphorylation of these components by SRC conditions for efficient innate antiviral immune response. Consistently, TGR5 deficiency impairs innate antiviral immunity, whereas BAs exhibit potent antiviral activity in wild-type but not TGR5-deficient cells and mice. | 15 | Abnormal expression of hepatoma- derived γ-glutamyltransferase subtyping and its early alteration for carcinogenesis of hepatocytes显示文摘BACKGROUND: Although the hepatoma-specific band of gamma-glutamyltransferase ( GGT ) is a highly sensitive marker in diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma, the kine- tic expression and the early alterations of GGT in the deve- lopment of hepatoma remain unclear. In this study, we in- vestigated the expression and the alterations of GGT multi- ple molecular forms in hepatotumorigenesis. METHODS: The expression of GGT in a chemically in- duced hepatocarcinogenesis model was examined by giving 0. 05% of 2-fluoenylacetamide in diet for 12 weeks. The ex- pression levels of total RNA and GGT, and the changes of liver pathology, GGT multiple molecular forms and sugar- chain heterogeneity were investigated at the different stages of rat hepatoma development. RESULTS: Pathological examination and biochemical ana- lysis found that liver GGT was over-expressed and secreted into blood during canceration. Serum total GGT and liver GGT specific activities (IU/g) including soluble and mem- brane-combined GGT were significantly higher (P <0.05) in experimental groups than those in control group, respec- tively. A highly positive correlation was found between to- tal GGT activities and total RNA levels (r =0.90, P <0.05) of the liver. Both were higher six weeks later than before. Con A-non-reactive-GGT was increased consistantly dur- ing the development of rat hepatoma. GGT multiple mo- lecular forms in the liver and sera of experimental rats showed that fetal liver-type GGT bands were associated with the development of hepatoma. CONCLUSIONS: Fetal liver-type GGT in sera and the liver of rats is closely related to hepatotumorigenesis. | 16 | Characteristics and prognosis of synchronous multiple early gastric cancer显示文摘AIM:To assess the clinicopathologic characteristics,risk factors,and prognosis for synchronous multiple early gastric cancer(SMGC).METHODS:A total of 146 patients with SMGC and1194 patients with single gastric cancer who had undergone gastrectomy between 1989 and 2008 were retrospectively analyzed to determine their clinicopathologic characteristics and postoperative survival.Tumors were classified into groups on the basis of location and histology.Smoking habits were evaluated using the Brinkman index.Clinical and pathological factors were compared using either Fisher’s exact test or Pearson’sχ2test.Logistic regression analysis was performed to identify independent risk factors.Survival rate was calculated using the Kaplan-Meier method.RESULTS:SMGCs accounted for 10.9%of gastric cancer cases and occurred predominantly in elderly male patients with a family history of gastric cancer who were both smokers and drinkers.These tumors were typically macroscopically elevated and histologically differentiated.There were no significant differences between SMGC and single gastric cancer patients with respect to tumor location,tumor size,lymph node metastasis,the number of metastatic lymph nodes,venous invasion,or tumor stage(P=0.052,P=0.347,P=0.595,P=0.805,P=0.559,and P=0.408,respectively).Further,there was no significant difference in postoperative survival between the patient groups(P=0.200).Of the 146SMGC patients,a single patient had remnant cancer.CONCLUSION:A careful preoperative endoscopy is necessary for patients who are at high risk of SMGC,and minimally invasive treatment may be indicated in some cases. | Taro Isobe Kousuke Hashimoto Junya Kizaki Naotaka Murakami Keishiro Aoyagi Kikuo Koufuji Yoshito Akagi Kazuo Shirouzu | 2013 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,41: | 17 |
| 17 | The concept of effective emissivity of nonisothermal mixed pixel and its test显示文摘Based on two preconditions, the local thermal equilibrium is satisfied and emissivities donot change with temperature, the concept of component effective emissivity of nonisothermal mixed pixel has been put forward and then the radiant directionality model of nonisothermal mixed pixel constructed from it. Our study shows that the component effective emissivity is associated with geometric structure, optical properties of target, and viewing angle, but does not depend on the component temepratures. The component temperatures can only change the ratio of component radiance to the total radiance of the mixed-pixel. The total effective emissivity of this pixel is the complement of its directional-hemisphere reflectance. | 19 | Advanced technology of high-resolution radar: target detection, tracking, imaging, and recognition显示文摘In recent years, the performances of radar resolution, coverage, and detection accuracy have been significantly improved through the use of ultra-wideband, synthetic aperture and digital signal processing technologies. High-resolution radars(HRRs) utilize wideband signals and synthetic apertures to enhance the range and angular resolutions of tracking, respectively. They also generate one-, two-, and even threedimensional high-resolution images containing the feature information of targets, from which the targets can be precisely classified and identified. Advanced signal processing algorithms in HRRs obtain important information such as range-Doppler imaging, phase-derived ranging, and micro-motion features. However, the advantages and applications of HRRs are restricted by factors such as the reduced signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of multi-scatter point targets, decreased tracking accuracy of multi-scatter point targets, high demands of motion compensation, and low sensitivity of the target attitude. Focusing on these problems, this paper systematically introduces the novel technologies of HRRs and discusses the issues and solutions relevant to detection, tracking, imaging, and recognition. | 20 | Design of integrated radar and communication system based on MIMO-OFDM waveform显示文摘Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)waveform enables radar and communication functions simultaneously, which encounters low angle resolution and poor data rate for traditional single input single output(SISO) systems. To solve these problems, an integrated radar and communication system(IRCS) with multiple input multiple output(MIMO) OFDM waveform is proposed. The different limitations of radar and communication in designing such a system are investigated.
