1Sulfoalkyl ether β-cyclodextrin derivatives synthesized by a single step method as pharmaceutical biomaterials显示文摘We report a simple 'one pot' single step method to synthesize sulfoalkyl ether β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) derivatives in aqueous solution, which avoids the limitations associated with commonly used organic synthesis of such derivatives including multi-step reactions, use of expensive, toxic, and often environmentally hazardous organic solvents and/or reagents. Using this method, we obtained sulfopropyl and sulfobutyl ethyl β-CDs. We characterized these two derivatives and evaluated their ability to enhance solubility of fluconazole, a commonly used antifungal drug with poor water solubility. Experimental results indicate that these derivatives are structurally analogous to some of the commercially available β-CD derivatives. More importantly, when they formed supramolecular inclusion complexes with fluconazole, they demonstrated similar, if not better, capacity to enhance fluconazole solubility compared with commercially available β-CD derivatives, suggesting that the simple 'one pot' single step synthesis may provide an effective alternative approach to produce large quantity of β-CD derivatives as pharmaceutical biomaterials for medicinal applications.SONG AiJing WANG JianHua LIU ChunDong DENG LinHong 2009Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,18:4
2Detection and tracking of pigs in natural environments based on video analysis显示文摘Detection and tracking of pigs are important for analyzing pig behavior using computer vision.However,in natural environments,illumination changes,complex scenes,adhesion,occlusion,and individual identification from multiple objects are challenges for detection and tracking.This paper provided an anti-interference algorithm for pig detection and tracking based on video analysis.Firstly,pigs were recognized in natural environment based on color information,and noises were removed based on the analysis of connected regions in the binary images.Secondly,multiple pigs were separated by contours and edges.Thirdly,pigs were tracked based on a set of association rules with constraint items(DT-ACR).When DT-ACR fails,targets that are not lost were tracked continuously,while lost targets were retrieved in the nearby location,which effectively increased the duration of tracking.Experiments showed that the algorithm was able to track each individual pig in the following conditions:no-light scenes,sun glint scenes,adhesion scenes and occlusion scenes.The overall tracking accuracy reached up to 87.32%(83.85%for serious adhesion,87.4% for occlusion,82.4% for strong light,82.17% for no light and dark,96.58%for 2 pigs,88.33%for 3 pigs and 77.63 for 4 pigs).A pig activity analysis study based on the pig detection and tracking algorithm was carried out,and the results showed that the proposed method was able to track pigs for a long period of time and extract the values that reflected pigs’movements.Deqin Xiao Aijing Feng Jian Liu 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,4:2
3Regulating the Function of Nanocomposite Made from Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose with Bacterial Cellulose Nanocrystal显示文摘Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose(HPMC)-based hybrid nanocomposites reinforced with bacterial cellulose nanocrystals(BCNC) were prepared and characterized.The HPMC nanocomposites exhibited good thermal stability,with a thermogravimetric peak temperature of around 346℃.The addition of BCNC did not significantly affect the thermal degradation temperature or improve the transparency of HPMC nanocomposites.However,the addition of BCNC favorably affected the light scattering properties of the nanocomposites and enhanced mechanical properties such as tensile stress and Young's modulus from 65 MPa and 1.5 GPa up to 139 MPa and 3.2 GPa,respectively.The oxygen permeability of the HPMC nanocomposites also increased with increase in the amount of BCNC added.AiJing Zhou YangYang Peng ShiYu Fu Hao Liu 2016Paper And Biomaterials2016,1,2:2
4Enzymatic biosynthesis of benzylisoquinoline alkaloid glycosides via promiscuous glycosyltransferases from Carthamus tinctorius显示文摘Enzymatic glycosylation catalyzed by glycosyltransferases (GTs) has great potential in creating diverse novel and bioactive glycosides. Herein, three new GTs (UGT84 A33, UGT71 AE1 and UGT90 A14) from Carthamus tinctorius exhibited robust catalytic promiscuity to benzylisoquinoline alkaloids, and were used as enzymatic tools in glycosylation of bioactive benzylisoquinoline alkaloids. Seven novel benzylisoquinoline alkaloids O-glycosides were synthesized with high efficiency. 7Reduced Graphene Oxide/Carbon Fiber Composite Membrane for Self-floating Solar-thermal Steam Production显示文摘Solar-thermal water evaporation has attracted increasing attention owing to the promising potential to solve the global clean water and energy crisis.But,the development of this strategy is limited by the lack of materials with high solar-thernal conversion efficiency,local heating of superficial water,easy preparation and low cost.Herein,we proposed a facile strategy to prepare a reduced graphene oxide/carbon fiber composite membrane,denoted as RGO/CF membrane.The surface of the RGO/CF membrane was highly hydrophobic,endowing the composite membrane with the self-floating ability on the water without any assistance.The light absorbance ability achieved as high as ca.98%in the wavelength range of 300-1200 nm.The steam evaporation efliciency under the illumination of3-sun was 97%,generating water steam at a rate of 4.54 kg·m^-2·h^-1.Moreover,the solar-thermal steam production rate showed high stability during successive 30 cvcle tests.MA Aijing CHEN Yaxi LIU Yang GUI Jianzhou YU Yifu 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,4:1

9Establishment of an astronomical time scale for the Shizigou Formation in the Qaidam Basin,Inner Asia and orbital forced evolution of lakes during The Pliocene显示文摘The Qaidam Basin,as the largest inland basin within the Tibetan Plateau,has accumulated more than 10,000 m of Cenozoic continental sediments.It serves as a crucial research area for documenting Cenozoic climate changes and plateau uplift processes in the Asian interior.Additionally,the basin holds vast reserves of oil and gas resources,making high-resolution drilling data invaluable for studying paleoclimate.In this study,the longsequence lacustrine deposits of JS1 drill core across the Shizigou Formation in the Yiliping Depression at the western center of the basin were studied,aiming to establish an astronomical timescale for the Shizigou Formation and investigate the characteristics of paleoclimatic changes during the late Miocene to the Pliocene for the Asian interior.The analysis was carried out using high-resolution natural gamma ray(GR)data sequences,employing techniques such as spectral analysis,filtering,and wavelet analysis in cyclostratigraphy.The results indicated the presence of a stable Milankovitch orbital signal was perfectly recorded in the Shizigou Formation,primarily influenced by eccentricity cycles,with weaker obliquity and precession cycles.Using the stable and continuous 405 ka eccentricity cycle in astronomical tuning,a'floating'astronomical timescale with a duration of 6.1 Ma for the Yiliping depression's Shizigou Formation has been established.With reference to previously established stratigraphic age anchor points,an absolute astronomical timescale(2.5–8.6 Ma)has been ultimately provided for the Shizigou Formation.Simultaneously,a clear 100 ka short eccentricity cycle record has been identified during the Pliocene(5.3–2.5 Ma),which corresponds in time with the aridification within the basin during this Pliocene period.In addition,a comparison of the Pliocene natural gamma ray curve of the Qaidam Basin with global ice volume variations indicated that the basin's aridification was influenced by global cooling,with eccentricity-modulated precession cycles controlling solar radiation and subsequently affecting the evolution of lakes in the arid region of Inner Asia.DunZhu JiaoBa MingZhen Zhang GuoLong Liu JianGuo Hui ShaoHua Lin AiJing Li Jing Zhang Jing Peng YiQiao Fu 2023Research in Cold and Arid Regions2023,15,5:0
10Electrochemical construction of porous gold nanostructures on DVD substrate and its application as nonenzymatic hydrogen peroxide sensor显示文摘A simple acid-etching method was used to leach out silver from a bimetallic gold-silver based Digital Video Disc(DVD), which was further treated via a cyclic voltammetric scanning in 1 mmol/L HAu Cl4 solution to create a porous gold nanostructure. The as-fabricated electrode was characterized by field-emission scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersed X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The high electro-catalytic activity of the resulting electrode toward the reduction of hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) presented excellent linear relationship in the range of 8.0×10?5 to 1.26×10?2 mol/L with the detection limit of 2.0×10-5 mol/L(S/N=3). 12Apparent Kinetics of 1-Decene Polymerization Catalyzed Using the Ionic Liquid[Bmim]_(x)[C_(2)H_(5)NH_(3)]_(1-x)[Al_(2)Cl_(7)]显示文摘Poly-α-olefin(PAO)synthetic oil,a regular long-chain alkane produced from the catalytic polymerization ofα-olefin,is a high-quality lubricating base oil with huge market potential.In this study,PAO synthesis based on the catalytic polymerization of 1-decene using the ionic liquid(IL)[Bmim]_(x)[C_(2)H_(5)NH_(3)]_(1-x)[Al_(2)Cl_(7)]as the catalyst was studied.Compared with the conventional catalyst[Bmim][Al_(2)Cl_(7)],the obtained PAO product incorporates more trimers and tetramers of 1-decene and contains few double-bond end groups,demonstrating a better catalytic system for PAO-10 production.The apparent polymerization kinetics of 1-decene in this catalytic system were studied based on the 1-decene concentration,catalyst concentration,and reaction temperature.An apparent kinetic equation for PAO formation was determined,providing a promising strategy for PAO production using 1-decene polymerization.Chen Yingze He Jinxue Wang Ben Pan Shiguang Zhang Di Bai Zhongxiang An Liangcheng Liu Dan Ma Aijing Li Hu Gui Jianzhou 2023China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2023,25,4:0
13Electrochemical behaviors of anode materials and their performance for bauxite desulfurization显示文摘Pyrite inside bauxite could be oxidized into soluble S-containing ions by electrolysis, and thus achieving bauxite desulfurization by using filtration. However, S-containing ions in electrolyte had some corrosion effects on electrode, especially for anode. In this work, six kinds of traditional materials were selected as anode, and their corrosion behaviors were examined by using electrochemistry characterization. Tafel and CV curves from simulating electrolyte suggested that their corrosion potentials were in the following order: Ni﹥C﹥SS﹥Fe﹥Cu﹥Pb–Ag. As expected, the desulfurization ratio and cell voltage from bauxite electrolysis were in the following order respectively: Cu﹥Ni﹥Fe﹥SS﹥C﹥Pb–Ag and Ni﹥Fe﹥SS﹥Cu﹥C﹥Pb–Ag.
