| 1 | Cardioprotective mechanisms of salvianic acid A sodium in rats with myocardial infarction based on proteome and transcriptome analysis显示文摘Ischemic heart diseases(IHDs)cause great morbidity and mortality worldwide,necessitating effective treatment.Salvianic acid A sodium(SAAS)is an active compound derived from the well-known herbal medicine Danshen,which has been widely used for clinical treatment of cardiovascular diseases in China.This study aimed to confirm the cardioprotective effects of SAAS in rats with myocardial infarction and to investigate the underlying molecular mechanisms based on proteome and transcriptome profiling of myocardial tissue.The results showed that SAAS effectively protected against myocardial injury and improved cardiac function.The differentially expressed proteins and genes included important structural molecules,receptors,transcription factors,and cofactors.Functional enrichment analysis indicated that SAAS participated in the regulation of actin cytoskeleton,phagosome,focal adhesion,tight junction,apoptosis,MAPK signaling,and Wnt signaling pathways,which are closely related to cardiovascular diseases.SAAS may exert its cardioprotective effect by targeting multiple pathways at both the proteome and transcriptome levels.This study has provided not only new insights into the pathogenesis of myocardial infarction but also a road map of the cardioprotective molecular mechanisms of SAAS,which may provide pharmacological evidence to aid in its clinical application. | Dan Jia Cheng-zhong Zhang Yan Qiu Xiao-fei Chen Lin Jia Alex F.Chen Yi-feng Chai Zhen-yu Zhu Jin Huang Chuan Zhang | 2019 | Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2019，40，12： | 4 |

| 4 | The Strength of Structural Diversity in Online Social Networks显示文摘Understanding the way individuals are interconnected in social networks is of prime significance to predict their collective outcomes.Leveraging a large-scale dataset from a knowledge-sharing website,this paper presents an exploratory investigation of the way to depict structural diversity in directed networks and how it can be utilized to predict one’s online social reputation.To capture the structural diversity of an individual,we first consider the number of weakly and strongly connected components in one’s contact neighborhood and further take the coexposure network of social neighbors into consideration.We show empirical evidence that the structural diversity of an individual is able to provide valuable insights to predict personal online social reputation,and the inclusion of a coexposure network provides an additional ingredient to achieve that goal.After synthetically controlling several possible confounding factors through matching experiments,structural diversity still plays a nonnegligible role in the prediction of personal online social reputation.Our work constitutes one of the first attempts to empirically study structural diversity in directed networks and has practical implications for a range of domains,such as social influence and collective intelligence studies. | Yafei Zhang Lin Wang Jonathan JHZhu Xiaofan Wang Alex‘Sandy’Pentland | 2021 | Research2021，，1： | 2 |
