1A new family of windows——convolution windows and their applications显示文摘A new family of windows is constructed by convolutions via a few rectangular windows with same time width and is thus referred to as convolution windows. The expressions of the second-order up to the eighth-order convolution windows in both the time and frequency domains are derived. Their applications in high accuracy harmonic analysis of periodic signals are investigated. Comparisons between the proposed windows and some known windows with the same width shows that, when the synchronous deviation of data sampling is slight, the proposed ones have the least effect of spectral leakage. Therefore, the new windows are well suited for high accuracy harmonic analysis and parameter estimation for periodic signals. The error analysis and computer simulations show that the estimation errors, corresponding to frequency, amplitude and phase of every harmonic component of a signal, are proportional to the pth power of the relative frequency deviation in case of the pth-order convolution window is applied to windowing signal of approximately p cycles. By introducing real time adjustment in sampling interval, the proposed algorithm can adaptively trace signal frequency and lead to less sampling synchronous deviation. The proposed approach has the advantages of easy implementation and high measure precision and can be used in harmonic analysis of quasi-periodic signals whose fundamental frequency drifts slowly with time.ZHANG Jieqiu1,2, LIANG Changhong1 & CHEN Yanpu3 1. 2A NEW MOMENT METHOD FOR THE FAST AND ACCURATE ANALYSIS OF NORMAL MODE HELICAL ANTENNAS显示文摘In this letter, a new moment method using helical segments is presented to model Normal Mode Helical Antenna (NMHA). Using this method, the NMHA can be modeled by a few segments. The current distributions and radiation patterns of some NMHAs are calculated.A comparison is made between results obtained using this helical segment algorithm and a linear segment algorithm, and the results of the two algorithms agree fairly well. When calculating the impedance matrix [Z], all the elements of the matrix can be obtained by only calculating a few elements with the application of the symmetric and periodic characteristics of the NMHA.Therefore, the CPU time and the memory storage are significantly reduced, with the accuracy and speed enhanced.Ji Yicai Sun Baohua Liu Qizhong (Institute of Antennas and EM Scattering, Xidian University, Xi’an 710071) 2001Journal of Electronics(China)2001,18,4:2

6A NOVEL METHOD FOR MEASURING COMPLEX REFLECTION COEFFICIENT USING A FOUR-PORT REFLECTOMETER显示文摘A novel method for precise measurement of complex reflection coeffcient using a four-port reflectometer is presented. First, three new complex system constants are introduced, which depend only on the scattering parameters of the four-port reflectometer. Therefore, the stability of the reflectometer is greatly improved. Then, these complex system constants are used to determine the complex reflection coeffcient F of the device under test by calibrating the reflectometer. Finally, a four-port reflectometer comprising a magic tee and a power detector is constructed and excellent experimental results are obtained.Tian Buning Tang Jiaming Liu Qizhong (institute of Antennas and EMS, Xidian University, Xi’an 71007l) 2001Journal of Electronics(China)2001,18,4:1

14ANALYSIS OF THE SCATTERING OF RIVET ON AIRCRAFT显示文摘This letter investigates the scattering characteristic of the rivets on aircraft. The Electric Field Integral Equation (EFIE) is used with the moment method to calculate the current distribution on the surface of the rivet. With the application of Gaussian integral corresponding triangular cell, the time to fill the Z matrix is greatly reduced. Finally, the RCS of a type of rivet on aircraft is analyzed.Guo Jingli Ji Yicai Liu Qizhong (institute of Antenna & EM Scattering, Xidian University, Xi’an 710071) 2002Journal of Electronics(China)2002,19,4:0

16HYBRID ANALYSIS FOR SURFACE-WAVE EFFECTS ON ELECTRICALLY LARGE 2-D BODIES WITH CRACKS显示文摘A hybrid technique to compute the surface-wave scattering of electrically large 2-D bodies with cracks by combining the current-based hybrid method and the finite element method is presented in this letter. Based on the equivalence theorem, the field scattered by a body with cracks can be divided into two parts: the scattering from the body without cracks and that from the cracks. Some numerical results have been obtained and the feasibility of the proposed method is shown.Tang Song Zhao Weijiang Liu Qizhong(Institute of Antennas, Xidian University. 17A COMBINED FULL-WAVE BCG-FFT METHOD FOR RADIATION OF MICROSTRIP ANTENNA ARRAYS显示文摘A method of combining BiConjugate Gradient(BCG) with Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) to analyze the radiation of microstrip antenna arrays is presented, where the spatially discrete BCG-FFT for analyzing microstrip structure is used and the del operators on Green's functions are transferred from the singular kernel to the expansion and testing functions. The resultant equations are solved by using BCG method in which the matrix-vector product is evaluated efficiently with FFT. 18MODE THEORY OF MULTILAYER WAVEGUIDE STRUCTURE WITH DISCONTINUITIES显示文摘TEn mode (whose electric field is zero in the normal direction of theboundafiesbetween layers) and TMn mode (whose magnetic field is zero in the normal direction of the bound-aries between layers) are defined. Then conditions under which pure TEn (TMn) modes may existin multilayer waveguide structure with discontinuities are presented. E (H) step wavguides, ridgedwavguides, microstrip lines and fin lines all satisfy the conditions, and hold for TEn (TMn) mode. The conventional conclusion that ridged waveguides with inhomogeneous dielectric-slab loading, microstrip lines and fin lines only hold for hybrid modes is revised. Compared with hybrid modes, the number of unknown variations and matching equations is reduced by half for pure TEn (TMn)modes, and the computation cost is decreased dramatically.Zong Weihua Liang Changhong (National Key Lab of Antenna and Microwave Technology, Xidian University, Xi’an 710071) 2003Journal of Electronics(China)2003,20,3:0
19COMPENSATION FOR THE EFFECTS OF MUTUAL COUPLING ON THE PERFORMANCE OF ADAPTIVE ARRAYS显示文摘Using the Method of Moments(MoM) and the spectral method, the effect of mutual coupling on the performance of adaptive arrays is compensated. First, the MoM is used to compute the behavior of the array, where the accurate analytical model and odd nnmbers of piecewise sinusoids are applied. Then the covariance matrix with mutual coupling being taken into account is analyzed, and the expression for the weight of the Least Mean Square(LMS)algorithm with mutual coupling being compensated is given. Finally, the method given in this letter is tested on an example.Gao Xue Hu Hongfei Fu Demin (National Key Lab. of Antennas and Microwave Technology, Xidian University, Xi’an 710071) 2002Journal of Electronics(China)2002,19,1:0
20HYBRID MM/MoL APPROACH FOR ANALYZING A COAXIAL FED MONOPOLE ANTENNA显示文摘A new hybrid technique is presented, which combines the Mode Matching (MM) method with the Method of Lines (MoL) to analyze a coaxial fed monopole antenna. The monopole antenna is dealt with using the MoL, while the MM method is used to analyze the coaxial feed system. Then, the two sub-problems are combined by enforcing point matching at the common regional interfaces. The input impedance is computed and compared with the measured data reported in literature, and the excellent agreement is observed.Sun Baohua Ji Yicai Liu Qizhong (institute of Antennas and EM Scattering, Xidian University, Xi’an 710071) 2002Journal of Electronics(China)2002,19,1:0
