| 1 | Development of small molecule extracellular signal-regulated kinases(ERKs) inhibitors for cancer therapy显示文摘The mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)/extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2(ERK1/2) signaling pathway is widely activated by a variety of extracellular stimuli, and its dysregulation is associated with the proliferation, invasion, and migration of cancer cells. ERK1/2 is located at the distal end of this pathway and rarely undergoes mutations, making it an attractive target for anticancer drug development. Currently, an increasing number of ERK1/2 inhibitors have been designed and synthesized for antitumor therapy, among which representative compounds have entered clinical trials. When ERK1/2 signal transduction is eliminated, ERK5 may provide a bypass route to rescue proliferation, and weaken the potency of ERK1/2 inhibitors. Therefore, drug research targeting ERK5 or based on the compensatory mechanism of ERK5 for ERK1/2 opens up a new way for oncotherapy. | 2 | Moderate papain addition improves the physicochemical,microbiological,flavor and sensorial properties of Chouguiyu,traditional Chinese fermented fish显示文摘The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of papain on the physicochemical and microbiological properties,volatile compound profiles,and sensorial attributes of Chouguiyu.Papain was applied at a dose of 10,50,200,400 U/g fish.Results showed that papain addition improved the release of free amino acids,essential amino acids,eicosapentaenoi acid(EPA,C20:5n3),and docosapentenoic acid(DPA,C22:5n6),respectively.Lower biogenic amines content,higher the volatile compound concentrations and relative abundance of Lactobacillales were also observed.Further results showed that the papain dose group decreased the fermentation time from 10 to 7 days while good organoleptic quality was remained,especially in the 200 U/g dose group.The redundancy analysis(RDA)showed a high correlation between Lactobacillus and the key volatile compounds in the 200 U/g and 400 U/g groups,which indicated that Lactobacillus could contribute to the fatty flavor.In summary,proper papain addition(i.e.200 U/g or 400 U/g)could reduce biogenic amines contents and maintain acceptable sensorial properties of Chouguiyu in a shorter fermentation time. | Wenhuan Xu Cuicui Jiang Aoxue Liu Ruiqi Bao Wenqing Wang Zuoli Zhang Chaofan Ji Huipeng Liang Sufang Zhang Xinping Lin | 2022 | Food Bioscience2022,46,2: | 2 |

| 11 | Composition analysis of acid hydrolysates from Cucurbita moschata Duch.polysaccharides and their effect on oxidative stress resistance of Caenorhabditis elegans显示文摘Pumpkin polysaccharides(PPe)have a variety of bioactive effects and our previous research showed the acid hydrolysate(PPe-S,a mixture)from PPe had an antioxidative capacity both in vitro and in viro.The aim of this study was to purify PPe-S and investigate the antioxidant stress effects of 2 purified components(PPe-S-1 and PPe-S-2)using Caenorhabditis elegans as model organism.The results showed that PPe-S-2 had a notable antioxidant effect,and could significantly enhance the activities of antioxidant enzymes including superoxide dismutase(SOD)(P<0.01),catalase(CAT)(P<0.01)and glutathione reductase(GR)(P<0.05),and increase the level of glutathione(GSH)(P<0.01),and decreased the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)(P<0.05).PPe-S-2 could significantly extend the survival time of C.elegans(P<0.01),which were stress-induced by hydrogen peroxide and methyl viologen.PPe-S-2 was a heteropolys accharide composed of glucose,arabinose,rhamnose and galactose with the molar ratio of 1.00:0.03:0.02:0.14.The molecular weight of PPe-S-2 was 0.73 kDa detected by high performance liquid chromatography.These studies demonstrated that PPe-S-2 obtained by the acid hydrolysis of PPe had a prominent protective effect to the damage induced by the intracellular free radical generating agents. | Wen Jiang Yakun Zhang Jiangying Zeng Jing Yao Aoxue Lu Zhiyu Fang Ge Wang Weimin Wang Yongjun Zhang | 2023 | Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,3: | 0 |

| 13 | Lyotropic liquid crystals of tetradecyldimethylaminoxide in water and the in situ formation of gold nanomaterials显示文摘Lyotropic liquid crystals(LLCs)produced by the self-assembly of surfactant in water represent an important class of highly ordered soft materials that have a wide range of applications.This study investigates the LLCs formed by a zwitterionic surfactant(tetradecyldimethylaminoxide,C 14 DMAO)in water.The organization of C 14 DMAO within the LLCs was determined based on a detailed analysis of small-angle X-ray scattering measure-ments and polarized microscopy observations of a typical sample.Additional to the singe-phase region,which has a hexagonal organization,several two-phase regions were observed,exhibiting the coexistence of hexago-nal/cubic,cubic/lamellar,and hexagonal/lamellar phases.The phase behavior showed an obvious dependence on temperature,with more pronounced two-phase regions at lower temperatures.Using the LLCs as a matrix,Au nanospheres,nanoellipsoids,and nanorods were prepared without requiring additional reducing reagents.These three-and one-dimensional Au nanomaterials could be converted to two-dimensional plates via the introduc-tion of a small amount of cationic surfactant to the LLCs,such as cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)and 1-hexadecyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide([C 16 MIm]B),which showed pronounced surface-enhanced Raman scattering activity towards solid rhodamine.The LLCs loaded with CTAB(or[C 16 MIm]B)and HAuCl 4 exhibited slightly different structures and mechanical strength from the original LLCs,thereby forming a new class of highly crowded colloidal materials. | Na Zhang Aoxue Xu Baoyong Liu Nicolas Godbert Hongguang Li | 2023 | ChemPhysMater2023,2,2: | 0 |
