2Study on structure-activity relationship of mutation-dependent herbicide resistance acetohydroxyacid synthase through 3D-QSAR and mutation显示文摘Seventy-four sulfonylureas were synthesized and tested for their inhibitory activity against the whole enzyme of E. coli acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS, EC 2.2.1.6) isoenzyme II, and 3D-QSAR analyses were performed based on these inhibitory activities. The binding conformation of chlorimuron-ethyl, a commercial herbicide of AHAS, in the crystal structure of AHAS complex was extracted and used as template to build the initial three-dimensional structure of other sulfonylureas, and then all structures were fully geometry optimized. After systematic optimization of the alignment rule, molecular orienta- tion, grid space and attenuation factor, two satisfactory models with excellent performances (CoMFA: q2 = 0.735, r2 = 0.954, n = 7, r 2 pred = 0.832; CoMSIA: q2 = 0.721, r2 = 0.913, n = 8, r 2pred = 0.844) were estab- lished. By mapping the 3D contour maps of CoMFA and CoMSIA models into the possible inhibitory active site in the crystal structure of catalytic subunit of yeast AHAS, a plausible binding model for AHAS, with best fit QSAR in the literature so far, was proposed. Moreover, the results of 3D-QSAR were further utilized to interpret resistance of site-directed mutants. A relative activity index (RAI) for AHAS enzyme mutant was defined for the first time to relate the 3D-QSAR and resistance of mutants. This study, for the first time, demonstrated that combination of 3D-QSAR and enzyme mutation can be used to decipher the molecular basis of ligand-receptor interaction mechanism. 3Study on the bioactivity changes of hydroxylated sulfonylureas derivatives: A possible metabolism显示文摘Some new sulfonylureas and their hydroxylation products had been synthesized from 2-amino-4-methylpyrimidine. Their bioactivities against E. coli AHAS II in vitro were tested and the results indicated that the hydroxylation decreased the inhibition activities of sulfonylureas significantly. Subsequently herbicidal tests against stem-growth of barnyard grass and root-growth of rape confirmed the above conclusion. 12In-plane grain boundary induced defect state in hierarchical NiCo-LDH and effect on battery-type charge storage显示文摘Domain boundaries are regarded as the effective active sites for electrochemical energy storage materials due to defects enrichment therein.However,layered double hydroxides(LDHs)tend to grow into single crystalline nano sheets due to their unique two-dimentional(2D)lattice structure.Previously,much efforts were made on the designing hierarchical structure to provide more exposed electroactive sites as well as accelerate the mass transfer.Herein,we demonstrate a strategy to introduce low angle grain boundary(LAGB)in the flakes of Ni/Co layered double hydroxides(NiCo-LDHs).These defect-rich nano flakes were self-assembled into hydrangea-like spheres that further constructed hollow cage structure.Both the formation of hierarchical structure and grain boundaries are interpreted with the synergistic effect of Ni2+/Co2+ratio in an“etching-growth”process.The domain boundary defect also results in the preferential formation of oxygen vacancy(Vo).Additionally,density functional theory(DFT)calculation reveals that Co substitution is a critical factor for the formation of adjacent lattice defects,which contributes to the formation of domains boundary.The fabricated battery-type Faradaic NiCo-LDH-2 electrode material exhibits significantly enhanced specific capacitance of 899 C·g^(−1)at a current density of 1 A·g^(−1).NiCo-LDH-2//AC asymmetric capacitor shows a maximum energy density of 101.1 Wh·kg^(−1)at the power density of 1.5 kW·kg^(−1).Jinjin Ban Xiaohan Wen Honghong Lei Guoqin Cao Xinhong Liu Chunyao Niu Guosheng Shao Junhua Hu 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0
13Influence and Correction of Wavefront Primary Aberrations for Radio Telescopes using Aberration Theory显示文摘Dual-reflector antennas are widely used in astronomical observations and satellite communication.Structural deformations of the reflectors for radio telescopes are inevitable in outside working conditions due to exterior environment loads,which will cause distortion in the surface of the primary reflector and displacement of the subreflector,then lead to gain degradation and misalignment.In this paper,the influence and correction of misalignment in a dual-reflector antenna have been studied.From the perspective of wavefront aberration,a method is proposed to correct the wavefront primary aberration by adjusting the subreflector position.The characteristics of wavefront errors caused by structural deformation of the reflector have been analyzed,and relationships between the position motions of the subreflector and the Seidel wavefront aberrations are derived.The adjustment quantities of the subreflector are also derived.The results show the appropriate positional change of the subreflector in the lateral and axial directions can effectively correct the effects of the tilt and defocus in the primary aberrations caused by antenna structural deformations.Bin-bin Xiang Wei Wang You Ban Shang-min Lin Zhi-gang Wen Da-lin He Ming-hui Cai 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,2:0

15Dietary host-associated Bacillus subtilis supplementation improves intestinal microbiota,health and disease resistance in Chinese perch(Siniperca chuatsi)显示文摘The purpose of this study was to evaluate the potential of a host-associated Bacillus subtilis 1-C-7 as a probiotic for Chinese perch(Siniperca chuatsi).Four test diets were formulated to contain graded levels of B.subtilis 1-C-7 at 0(CY),0.85×10^(8)(Y1),0.95×10^(9)(Y2)and 0.91×10^(10)(Y3)CFU/kg diet.The test fish with initial weight 30.0±1.2 g were fed the 4 test diets with 3 replicates in an indoor water-flow aquaculture system with 12 net cages(40 fish/cage)for 10 wk.At the conclusion of the feeding trial,the probiotic effects of B.subtilis on Chinese perch were analyzed based on growth performance,serum biochemical indices,histologic morphology of liver and gut,gut microbiota and the resistance to Aero-monas hydrophila.The results showed that the percentage of weight gain had no significant change in the Y1 and Y2 groups(P>0.05)but decreased in the Y3 group compared to that in the CY group(P<0.05).The fish in the Y3 group displayed the highest activity of serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)among these 4 groups(P<0.05).The fish in the CY group had the highest value of malondialdehyde in the liver(P<0.05)and showed severe nuclear migration and vacuolization of hepatocytes.The morphology indicated that all test fish had poor intestinal health.However,the fish in the Y1 group had a relatively normal intestinal histologic structure.The mid gut microbial diversity analysis showed that dietary B.subtilis supplementation increased the abundance of probiotics such as Tenericutes and Bacteroides,whereas it reduced the abundance of pernicious bacteria such as Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Thermophilia and Spirochaetes.The challenge test showed that dietary B.subtilis supplementation increased the resistance to A.hydrophila in Chinese perch.In conclusion,dietary supplementation of 0.85×10^(8)CFU/kg B.subtilis 1-C-7 could improve the intestinal microbiota,intestinal health and disease resistance in Chinese perch,but more or excessive supple-mentation could reduce growth performance and have negative effects on health.Zhehui Ji Chuanzhong Zhu Xinyang Zhu Sainan Ban Lijuan Yu Juan Tian Lixue Dong Hua Wen Xing Lu Ming Jiang 2023Animal Nutrition2023,,2:0
16Cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception,behavioural intention and INTERHEART risk stratification among middle-aged adults in Malaysia显示文摘Objective:To investigate the interrelationship between cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception,behavioural intention,and INTERHEART risk stratification in a middle-aged adult population in Malaysia.Methods:A cross-sectional survey with convenience sampling was conducted during November 2022 and January 2023.Participants completed validated questionnaires assessing cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception of cardiovascular diseases,behavioural intention towards adopting healthy habits,and INTERHEART risk stratification score(IHRS)based on established risk factors.A total of 602 respondents were included in the final analysis.Data were analysed with independent t-test/one-way ANOVA or Mann-Whitney/Kruskal-Wallis to test the differences,Pearson correlation or linear regression test to analyze the association of independent and dependent variables.Results:There was a significant positive correlation between medical knowledge related to cardiovascular disease(CVD)and knowledge related to CVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioural intention and IHRS(P<0.05,Pearson correlation).Notably,individuals with higher IHRS tended to have lower knowledge related to CVD and CVD risk prevention,risk perception,and behavioural intention.Males,laborers,active/former smokers,individuals with lower household income and educational levels,those involved in occupations not related to the healthcare sector,and those who did not receive the CVD health brochure or are unaware of health self-assessment tools are likely to have lower levels of knowledge,risk perception,and poorer behavioural intention regarding cardiovascular health(P<0.05,one-way ANOVA).While educational level,smoking status,awareness about CVD poster,self-assessment tools were repeatedly significantly associated with knowledge related to CVD and CVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioral intention and/or IHRS(P<0.05,linear regression).Conclusions:These findings underscore the importance of promoting cardiovascular health awareness and risk perception among middle-aged adults to foster positive BI and reduce CVD risk.Tailored interventions targeting specific risk factors identified by INTERHEART may enhance risk stratification accuracy and facilitate targeted preventive strategies.Siew-Keah Lee Ang-Lim Chua Clement Heng Yew Fong Ban Hao Brian Cong Wen Ling Ng Jing Feng Kong Yik-Ling Chew Kai Bin Liew Yang Shao 2024Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2024,17,2:0
17Chance-constrained programming (CCP)abatement of SO_2 emission for acid deposition control in Liuzhou City显示文摘A deterministic linear programming model which optimizes the abatement of each SO2 emission source, is extended into a CCP form by introducing equations of probabilistic constrained through the incorporation of uncertainty in the source-receptor-specific transfer coefficients. Based on the calculation of SO2 and sulfate average residence time for Liuzhou City, a sulfur deposition model has been developed and the distribution of transfer coefficients have been found to be approximately log-normal. Sulfur removal minimization of the model shows that the abatement of emission sources in the city is more effective, while control cost optimization provides the lowest cost programmes for source abatement at each allowable deposition limit under varied environmental risk levels.
