| 2 | Ni3S2 nanorods growing directly on Ni foam for all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor and efficient overall water splitting显示文摘Transition metal compounds are attractive for their significant applications in supercapacitors and as non-noble metal catalysts for electrochemical water splitting.Herein,we develop Ni3 S2 nanorods growing directly on Ni foam,which act as multifunctional additive-free Ni3 S2@Ni electrode for supercapacitor and overall water splitting.Based on PVA-KOH gel electrolyte,the assembled all-solid-state Ni3 S2@Ni//AC asymmetric supercapacitor delivers a high areal energy density of 0.52 mWh cm^-2 at an areal power density of 9.02 MW cm^-2,and exhibits an excellent cycling stability with a capacitance retention ratio of 89%after 10000 GCD cycles at a current density of 30 mA cm^-2.For hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction in 1 M KOH,Ni3 S2@Ni electrode achieves a benchmark of 10 mA cm^-2at overpotentials of 82 mV and 310 mV,respectively.Furthermore,the assembled Ni3 S2@Ni‖Ni3 S2@Ni electrolyzer for overall water splitting attains a current density of 10 mA cm^-2 at 1.61 V.The in-situ synthesis of Ni3 S2@Ni electrode enriches the applications of additive-free transition metal compounds in high-performance energy storage devices and efficient electrocatalysis. | Baoxin Wu Hao Qian Zhongwu Nie Zhongping Luo Zixu Wu Peng Liu Hao He Jianghong Wu Shuguang Chen Feifei Zhang | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7: | 2 |

| 8 | Cloning and Functional Analysis of FLJ20420:A Novel BAG-1 Promoter Transcription Factor显示文摘BAG-1 is an anti-apoptotic protein that interacts with a variety of cellular molecules to inhibit apoptosis. It is also important in the prognosis of several human malignancies such as breast cancer. We have previously cloned the human BAG-1 promoter. Using BAG-1 promoter as a probe, we identi ed a cDNA clone that encodes a novel BAG-1 promoter-binding protein, termed FLJ20420. The FLJ20420 protein speci cally bind to BAG-1 promoter (-353 to -128 bp) and decreased BAG-1 promoter activity ~30% by cotransfecting the pcDNA3.1-FLJ20420 and BGP-Luc BAG-1 promoter into lung cancer cell lines A549 and L9981. The FLJ20420 gene encodes a ~26kD protein localized in both cytoplasm and nucleus. Comparison of human FLJ20420 with mouse sequences showed a 90% homology with mouse gene, named CHCHD3. Furthermore, Northern blot revealed that FLJ20420 has low-level transcriptional expression in most human normal tissues (brain, placenta, lung, liver, kidney, pancreas and cervix) except in heart and skeletal muscle, and has a clear expression in most tumor cell lines. Knockdown of endogenous FLJ20420 significantly increased the expression of BAG-1 in A549 and L9981 cells, as analyzed by real-time PCR and western blotting. Gene array studies in lung cancer tissue samples indicated that there is a significant change in expression of FLJ20420 between the primary lung cancer and the paired normal lung tissues (P=0.0002), while BAG-1 has a significantly decreased expression in the primary lung cancers compared to the paired normal lung tissues (P=0.0001) , suggesting that the expression of BAG-1 was controlled by positive as well as negative transcription factors. Our observation was further confirmedby real-time PCR analysis of FLJ20420 and BAG-1 expressions in these tissues. | 9 | HCl guided morphology and conductivity of chiral PPy nanostructures toward efficient electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘To solve the severe electromagnetic(EM)radiation from the widespread application of electronic equipment,we developed a simple template-guided oxypolymerization strategy to synthesize polypyrrole(PPy)planar helixes as an efficient EM wave(EMW)absorber,and systematically investigated the morphology-dependent chirality,conductivity,and microwave absorption properties.As HCl concentration[HCl]varied from 0 to 2.0 M,the morphology evolved from planar helix to 3D cross-linking network structures,the conductivity increased from 0.0019 to 0.0302 S/cm,and the EM parameters peaked at[HCl]=0.5 M.Compared to other absorbers,the PPy planar helix formed at[HCl]=0 M possessed wider absorption band(5.84 GHz),smaller matching thickness(1.6 mm),lower loading(25 wt.%),and intenser absorption(-48.17 dB).The reason lies in the strong attenuation capability,multiple resonances,multiple scattering,and good impedance matching generated by chiral PPy planar helixes with a distinctive helical configuration,doped heteroatoms(O,S),and a local conductive network.Our results suggest that PPy planar helixes offer great promise for fields such as chiral sensors,electronics,optics,chiral catalysis,and EMW absorption and shielding due to their distinctive morphology,tunable conductivity,and outstanding EMW absorption properties(EMWAPs). | YANG XiaoFen FAN BaoXin WANG XinXin WU LiShan YAO QiBin TONG GuoXiu WU WenHua CHEN DaBo | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,4: | 0 |
| 10 | Phylogenetic Analysis of Virulence Factor Genes in Salmonella from Chicken显示文摘Salmonella is a common genus of seriously harmful food-borne zoonotic bacteria. Humans and animals may be infected with Salmonella through ingestion of Salmonella-contaminated eggs and poultry meat. Therefore,in order to reduce the incidence of Salmonella infections,it is crucial to explore the pathogenic mechanism of Salmonella. invA and invE are major virulence factor genes that encode invasion proteins of Salmonella. In order to explore the pathogenic mechanism of Salmonella,phylogenetic analysis of major virulence factor genes in 33 Salmonella strains isolated from chicken was analyzed. According to the results,ivnA gene was successfully amplified from 33 Salmonella strains; ivnE gene was successfully amplified from 32 Salmonella strains. ivnA nucleotide sequences shared 72. 9%- 97. 6% homology among 12 sequenced Salmonella strains and shared 78. 9%- 97. 2% homology with those in GenB ank; ivnE nucleotide sequences shared over95. 3% homology among 23 sequenced Salmonella strains and shared 89. 6%- 98. 6% homology with those in GenB ank,which exhibited no genetic relationship to other organisms. | 13 | Overexpression of LVRN impedes the invasion of trophoblasts by inhibiting epithelial–mesenchymal transition显示文摘Laeverin(LVRN)was first detected on the outer layer of the chorion laeve and migrating extravillous trophoblasts(EVTs).It is an enzyme that plays an important role in the placentation and pathophysiology of preeclampsia(PE).Previous studies have indicated that LVRN may be required for the invasion of human trophoblast cells.Paradoxically,LVRN was found to be highly expressed in the trophoblasts of PE patients with impaired invasive capacities.In this study,we detected the expression of LVRN in the placentas of PE patients(n=5)and normal term pregnancy women(n=5)as a control group by immunohistochemistry.LVRN was elevated in decidua(P=0.0083)and villi(P=0.0079)of PE patients.Next,LVRN was overexpressed via adeno-associated virus-mediated gene transfer in trophoblastic cell lines HTR8,Swan71,and JAR.Matrigel transwell assay and wound healing assay showed that overexpression of LVRN impeded the invasion of these three cell lines.Western blot analysis showed that LVRN overexpression caused downregulation of N-cadherin and vimentin and upregulation of E-cadherin,suggesting the inhibitory role of LVRN in epithelial–mesenchymal transition(EMT).Moreover,our data indicated that long noncoding RNA NONSTAT103348(lnc10-7)was elevated in PE patients.Silencing lnc10-7 led to decreased LVRN expression.Taken together,although the basal level of LVRN may be crucial for cell invasion,overexpression of LVRN may abrogate the cell invasiveness,suggesting a multifaceted role of LVRN in the pathogenesis of PE. | Xuan Feng Zhi Wei Sai Zhang Jiayi Zhou Jing Wu Baoxin Luan Yan Du Hongbo Zhao | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,2: | 0 |
