| 1 | In-line X-ray phase-contrast imaging of murine liver microvasculature ex vivo显示文摘Imaging blood vessels is of importance for determining the vascular distribution of organs and tumors.Phase-contrast X-ray imaging can reveal the vessels in much more detail than conventional X-ray absorption method.Visualizing murine liver microvasculature ex vivo with phase-contrast X-ray imaging was performed at Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility.Barium sulfate and physiological saline were used as contrast agents for the blood vessels.Blood vessels of <Φ20μm could be detected by replacing resident blood with physiological saline or barium sulfate.An entire branch of the portal vein (from the main axial portal vein to the ninth generation of branching) could be captured in a single phase-contrast image.It is demonstrated that selective angiography based on phase contrast X-ray imaging,with a physiological material of low Z elements (such as saline) being the contrast agent,is a viable imaging strategy.Further efforts will be focused on using the technique to image tumor angiogenesis. | LI Beilei XU Min WU Weizhong PENG Guanyun ZHANG Xi PENG Yifeng SHI Hongcheng CHEN Shaoliang | 2012 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2012,23,1: | 5 |

| 3 | Nanoparticle accumulation in liver may induce resistance to immune checkpoint blockade therapy显示文摘Despite immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)therapy has transformed cancer treatment,only 20.2%of these patients achieved a response.Understanding resistance mechanisms to ICB is important for the treatment of a wider population.In this work,we occasionally found that the silica nanoparticles(SiO_(2)NPs)accumulated in the liver can induce resistance to following ICB therapy to a subcutaneous tumor in mice.By analysis of T cells frequency,we uncovered that SiO_(2)NPs in the liver resulted in a siphoning of T cells from circulation to the liver by produced chemokines.In addition,liver immunosuppressive cells further inhibit the function and induce apoptosis of recruited T cells,leading to a systemic loss and reduced tumor infiltration of T cells,which contributes to poor responses to ICB therapy.However,such effect is not observed in poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid)(PLGA)NPs treated mice under the same conditions,likely due to their much lower immunogenicity in perturbing the liver immune microenvironment,indicating that cancer is not a local disease but an ecosystem that is linked to the distal environment.We further provide a new mechanism insight into ICB resistance induced by liver accumulation of nanoparticles. | Huaxing Dai Qianyu Yang Rong Sun Yue Zhang Qingle Ma Yifan Shen Beilei Wang Yitong Chen Jialu Xu Bo Tian Fang Xu Chao Wang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,4: | 1 |
| 4 | Efficient passivation of monolayer MoS2 by epitaxially grown 2D organic crystals显示文摘Monolayer molybdenum disulfide(Mo S2)is considered to be a promising candidate for field-effect transistors and photodetectors due to its direct bandgap and atomically thin properties.However,the Mo S2devices are impeded by the intrinsic surface defects and environmental adsorption such as H2O and O2.Here,we demonstrated a highly ordered,ultrathin(<5 nm)and scalable N,N0-ditridecylperylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic diimide(PTCDI-C13)passivation layer that can be epitaxially grown on Mo S2.The van der Waals interface between PTCDI-C13 and Mo S2can efficiently reduce the surface traps and isolate Mo S2from ambient.As a result,the passivated devices exhibit huge improvement in both carrier mobility(from 0.5 to 8.3 cm^2/(V s))and sub-threshold swing(from 16.7 to 1.6 V/dec).Also,the photodetector made on Mo S2after passivation has a much faster response speed(from 3 s to 10 ms)without significant sacrifice of the responsivity.Our method provides a facile approach to realize high-performance two-dimensional electronic and optoelectronic devices. | Xin Xu Zefeng Chen Beilei Sun Yu Zhao Li Tao Jian-Bin Xu | 2019 | Science Bulletin2019,64,22: | 1 |

| 7 | Depletion of conventional mature B cells and compromised specific antibody response in bovine immunoglobulin μ heavy-chain transgenic mice显示文摘In this study,we introduced the bovine immunoglobulinμheavy-chain gene(the orphaned gene on BTA11)into mouse germline cells.Bovine IgM was highly expressed in selected transgenic lines,and it largely inhibited rearrangements of the endogenous immunoglobulin heavy chain(IgH)genes in these lines.The forced expression of bovine IgM resulted in reduced numbers of pro-and pre-B cells but increased the number of immature B cells in the transgenic mice.Bovine IgM-expressing B cells can migrate from the bone marrow to the spleen,but most of the cells are arrested at the T1 transitional B cell stage,leading to a significantly lower number of T2 transitional and mature B cells in the spleen.Although the serum concentrations of endogenous IgM and IgG in the transgenic mice were significantly decreased,the IgA levels were slightly increased compared to the WT mice.The bovine IgM level in the serum was only one-tenth to one-fifth of that of endogenous mouse IgM,suggesting that most of the serum immunoglobulin were contributed by endogenous IgH gene-expressing B cells.These transgenic mice also exhibited a lower frequency of unique complementarity determining region 3(CDR3)sequences in their VH repertoire and Vκrepertoire but exhibited an increased frequency of unique CDR3 in their Vλrepertoire.Compared to the WT mice,the transgenic mice had a significantly higher percentage of mouse IgMexpressing B cells that expressedλchains.Finally,we showed that the transgenic mice were deficient in a specific antibody response to antigen stimulation. | Min ZHANG Xueqian CHENG Dan CHU Jingwen LIANG Yi SUN Li MA Beilei XU Min ZHENG Meili WANG Liming REN Xiaoxiang HU Qingyong MENG Ran ZHANG Ying GUO Yunping DAI Robert AITKEN Ning LI Yaofeng ZHAO | 2014 | Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2014,1,2: | 0 |
