1Effect of proteolytic starter culture isolated from Chinese Dong fermented pork(Nanx Wudl)on microbiological,biochemical and organoleptic attributes in dry fermented sausages显示文摘The effect of a proteolytic starter culture isolated from Nanx Wudl,on microbiological,biochemical and organoleptic attributes of dry fermented sausages was investigated during processing.Based on preliminary screening,the combination of Staphylococcus xylosus SX16 and Lactobacillus plantarum CMRC6,showing excellent proteolytic activity in vitro,was selected as the multi-strain starter(starter LS).For comparison,the single-strain starter culture of L.plantarum CMRC6(starter LB)and non-inoculated control were also tested.During fermentation,lactic acid bacteria and staphylococci dominated the microbiota and suppressed the Enterobacteriaceae growth in LS-inoculated sausages.The addition of LS starter accelerated acidification and proteolysis during ripening,improving the contents of total free amino acids and several essential free amino acids(Phe,Ile and Leu).Volatile compounds analysis revealed that LS-fermented sausage showed the highest abundance of 3-methyl-1-butanol,probably due to the inoculated S.xylosus.The inoculation of LS starter improved the sensory properties of sausages,especially the flavor attribute.Therefore,S.xylosus SX16 and L.plantarum CMRC6 are promising candidates for inclusion as multi-strain starters in the manufacture of gourmet fermented dry sausage.Xi Chen Ruifang Mi Biao Qi Suyue Xiong Jiapeng Li Chao Qu Xiaoling Qiao Wenhua Chen Shouwei Wang 2021Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,1:9
2Planning and analysis of the demonstration project of the MVDC distribution network in Zhuhai显示文摘The DC distribution system is an important development direction of the distribution system,which can improve the reliability and the quality of the power supply,and support the new energy,the energy storage,the electric vehicles,and the flexible access of AC and DC loads to grid.To realize the demonstration application of the DC distribution technology,China's first demonstration project of the medium voltage DC distribution network will be built in Zhuhai,Guangdong Province to support the construction of the city energy internet.First,this paper analyzes the demand of the DC distribution network project,and puts forward the construction content and construction target.Then,it designs and analyzes the electrical connection mode,system operation mode,and startup and shutdown mode of the DC distribution network,and proposes the overall project construction plan.Finally,it conducts the specific project design and analysis,which mainly in elude the selection of equipment such as inverters,DC transformers and DC circuit breakers,the design and analysis of the DC control and protection system,the design and analysis of the overvoltage protection and the configuration scheme of the lightning arrester,and analysis of the system transient characteristics.The design and analysis of the engineering program is a combination of China's distribution network engineering practice and technical characteristics,which lays a solid foundation for the advancement of the DC power distribution technology in China,and has reference value and demonstration effect for the design and construction of other projects.Lu QU Zhanqing YU Qiang SONG Zhichang YUAN Biao ZHAO Dawei YAO Jianfu CHEN Yao LIU Rong ZENG 2019Frontiers in Energy2019,13,1:7
3Predominant yeasts in Chinese Dong fermented pork(Nanx Wudl)and their aroma-producing properties in fermented sausage condition显示文摘Yeasts are one of the predominant microbial groups in fermented meats.In this study,yeast communities of Chinese Dong fermented pork(Nanx Wudl)were investigated and the technological properties of 73 yeast isolates were evaluated.Through culture-dependent and high-throughput sequencing methods,the main yeast species identified included Pichia membranifaciens,Kazachstania bulderi,Millerozyma farinosa,Candida zeylanoides,Kazachstania exigua,Candida parapsilosis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.Among these yeasts,P.membranifaciens,M.farinosa,K.exigua and K.bulderi were detected in fermented meats for the first time.A total of 73 yeast isolates was investigated for their lipolytic and proteolytic activities.All yeast species showed lipolytic activity,while proteolytic activity against meat protein was only detected in S.cerevisiae.Assay of aroma-producing potential was performed in a model simulating fermented sausage condition.Inoculation of yeast strains increased volatiles production,especially esters and alcohols.The highest ester production was observed in S.cerevisiae Y70 strain,followed by K.exigua Y12 and K.bulderi Y19.C.zeylanoides Y10 and S.cerevisiae Y70 were the highest producers of benzeneethanol and 3-methyl-1-butanol.S.cerevisiae Y70 with its highest production of branched alcohols and esters could be a promising candidate as aroma enhancer in the manufacture of fermented sausages.Ruifang Mi Xi Chen Suyue Xiong Biao Qi Jiapeng Li Xiaoling Qiao Wenhua Chen Chao Qu Shouwei Wang 2021Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,2:3

5Comparative Study of the Genetic Diversity, Antimicrobial Resistance, and Pathogenicity of Aeromonas Isolates from Clinical Patients and Healthy Individuals显示文摘Objective This study was performed to compare the genetic diversity,virulence,and antimicrobial resistance of Aeromonas strains isolated from patients and healthy individuals.Methods A total of 38 clinical strains and 19 strains from healthy individuals were isolated from the samples collected in Ma’anshan City,Anhui Province.Their taxonomy was investigated using concatenated gyrB-cpn60 sequences,and their resistance to 12 antibiotics was evaluated.The pathogenicity of these strains was examined through beta-hemolysis,protease activity,and virulence gene assays.Results The 57 Aeromonas strains were divided into 55 sequence types.Of these types,21 were novel,suggesting that their genetic diversity was high.These Aeromonas isolates could be divided into 7 species,and the positive rates of beta-hemolysis and protease activity were 49.1%and 73.7%,respectively.The detection rate of clinical patients in terms of beta-hemolysis and protease activity was higher than that of healthy individuals.Among the four most common Aeromonas strains,A.dhakensis had the highest detection rate of virulence genes.The multidrug resistance rate of the clinical isolates was much higher than that of the strains isolated from healthy individuals.Conclusions The taxonomy,virulence properties,and antibiotic resistance of Aeromonas isolates from patients differ from those of the isolates from healthy individuals.MENG Shuang DU Xiao Li WANG Yong Lu QU Feng Tian XIE Gui Lin ZHOU Hai Jian HU Jin Rui QIN Zheng WANG Yue KAN Biao CUI Zhi Gang 2021Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2021,34,6:2

7NES1/KLK10 and hNIS gene therapy enhanced iodine-131 internal radiation in PC3 proliferation inhibition显示文摘NES1 gene is thought to be a tumor-suppressor gene.Our previous study found that overexpression of NES1 gene in PC3 cell line could slow down the tumor proliferation rate,associated with a mild decrease in BCL-2 expression.The BCL-2 decrease could increase the sensitivity of radiotherapy to tumors.Thus,we supposed to have an“enhanced firepower”effect by combining overexpressed NES1 gene therapy and 131I radiation therapy uptake by overexpressed hNIS protein.We found a weak endogenous expression of hNIS protein in PC3 cells and demonstrated that the low expression of hNIS protein in PC3 cells might be the reason for the low iodine uptake.By overexpressing hNIS in PC3,the radioactive iodine uptake ability was significantly increased.Results of in vitro and in vivo tumor proliferation experiments and 18F-fluorothymidine(18F-FLT)micro-positron emission tomography/computed tomography(micro-PET/CT)imaging showed that the combined NES1 gene therapy and 131I radiation therapy mediated by overexpressed hNIS protein had the best tumor proliferative inhibition effect.Immunohistochemistry showed an obvious decrease of Ki-67 expression and the lowest BCL-2 expression.These data suggest that via inhibition of BCL-2 expression,overexpressed NES1 might enhance the effect of radiation therapy of 131I uptake in hNIS overexpressed PC3 cells.Jiajia Hu Wenbin Shen Qian Qu Xiaochun Fei Ying Miao Xinyun Huang Jiajun Liu Yingli Wu Biao Li 2019Frontiers of Medicine2019,13,6:1

19Novel treatment for refractory rheumatoid arthritis with total glucosides of paeony and nobiletin codelivered in a self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system显示文摘Patients with refractory rheumatoid arthritis(RA)remain a substantial clinical problem,while the overexpression of P-glycoprotein(P-gp)on their lymphocytes may contribute to resistance to anti-rheumatic drugs.This study aims to develop a novel treatment for refractory RA consisting of the combination of total glucosides of paeony(TGPs)and the P-gp inhibitor nobiletin(N),which are codelivered in a self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system(SNEDDS).Based on the solubility,compatibility,and pseudoternary phase diagram tests,a nano-SNEDDS formulation composed of capryol 90-cremophor EL35-tcranscutol HP(CET)to codeliver TGP and N was developed,and this formulation increased the bioavailability of TGP by 435.04%(indicated with paeoniflorin).A modified adjuvant-induced arthritis(AIA)rat model was verified for the overexpression of P-gp in lymphocytes and resistance to methotrexate(MTX)treatment at the reported anti-inflammatory dosage.CET formulation not only increased the solubility and permeability of TGP but also inhibited the function and expression of P-gp,leading to enhanced bioavailability and intracellular concentration in the lymphocytes of AIA rats and consequently boosting the anti-arthritic effects of TGP.Moreover,TGP and N coloaded CET reduced the expression of P-gp in AIA rats partly by inhibiting the phosphorylated AKT and HIF-1αpathways.In summary,TGP-N coloaded SNEDDS is a novel and effective treatment for refractory RA.Biao Qu Xiao-lin Wang De-chong Zheng Chu-tian Mai Zhong-qiu Liu Hua Zhou Ying Xie 2022Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2022,43,8:1
