2Effect of active control on optimal structures in wall turbulence显示文摘The effect of active control imposed at the wall on optimal structures in wall turbulence is studied by using a linear transient growth model.When the detection plane of the control is located in the buffer layer,the influence of the control on the transient growth of large scale motion becomes negligible as Reynolds number increases.However,if the control signal is detected at the plane located in the logarithm region,the transient growth at large scale can be greatly suppressed.New peak values of transient growth resulting from the strong blowing and suction on the wall exist.The study indicates that a proper selection of control imposed on the wall can suppress the large scale motion in the logarithmic region.DENG BingQing XU ChunXiao HUANG WeiXi CUI GuiXiang 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,2:3
3Increasing the heterologous production of spinosad in Streptomyces albus J1074 by regulating biosynthesis of its polyketide skeleton显示文摘Spinosyns are natural broad-spectrum biological insecticides with a double glycosylated polyketide structure that are produced by aerobic fermentation of the actinomycete,Saccharopolyspora spinosa.However,their large-scale overproduction is hindered by poorly understood bottlenecks in optimizing the original strain,and poor adaptability of the heterologous strain to the production of spinosyn.In this study,we genetically engineered heterologous spinosyn-producer Streptomyces albus J1074 and optimized the fermentation to improve the production of spinosad(spinosyn A and spinosyn D)based on our previous work.We systematically investigated the result of overexpressing polyketide synthase genes(spnA,B,C,D,E)using a constitutive promoter on the spinosad titer in S.albus J1074.The supply of polyketide synthase precursors was then increased to further improve spinosad production.Finally,increasing or replacing the carbon source of the culture medium resulted in a final spinosad titer of~70 mg/L,which is the highest titer of spinosad achieved in heterologous Streptomyces species.This research provides useful strategies for efficient heterologous production of natural products.Ziheng An Hui Tao Yong Wang Bingqing Xia Yang Zou Shuai Fu Fang Fang Xiao Sun Renqiong Huang Yao Xia Zixin Deng Ran Liu Tiangang Liu 2021Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2021,6,4:1
4Ultra-thin metal-organic framework nanoribbons显示文摘Structure engineering of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)at the nanometer scale is attracting increasing interest due to their unique properties and new functions that normally cannot be achieved in bulk MOF crystals.Here,we report the preparation of ultra-thin MOF nanoribbons(NRBs)by using metal-hydroxide nanostructures as the precursors.Importantly,this general method can be used to synthesize various kinds of ultra-thin MOF NRBs,such as MBDC(M=Co,Ni;BDC=1,4-benzenedicarboxylate),NiCoBDC,CoTCPP(TCPP=tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin)and MIL-53(Al)NRBs.As a proof-of-concept application,the as-prepared ultra-thin Co BDC NRBs have been successfully used as a fluorescent sensing platform for DNA detection,which exhibited excellent sensitivity and selectivity.The present strategy might open an avenue to prepare MOF nanomaterials with new structures and unique properties for various promising applications.Bingqing Wang Meiting Zhao Liuxiao Li Ying Huang Xiao Zhang Chong Guo Zhicheng Zhang Hongfei Cheng Wenxian Liu Jing Shang Jing Jin Xiaoming Sun Junfeng Liu Hua Zhang 2020National Science Review2020,7,1:1
5Comparable outcomes but higher risks of prolonged viral RNA shedding duration and secondary infection in cancer survivors with COVID-19: A multi-center, matched retrospective cohort study显示文摘Results Sixty-one cancer survivors and 183 matched non-cancer patients were screened from 2,828 COVID-19 infected patients admitted to 4 hospitals in Wuhan,China.The median ages of the cancer survivor cohort and non-cancer patient cohort were 64.0(55.0–73.0)and 64.0(54.0–73.5),respectively(P=0.909).Cancer survivors reported a higher incidence of symptom onset than non-cancer patients.Fever(80.3%vs.65.0%;P=0.026)was the most prevalent symptom,followed by cough(65.6%vs.37.7%;P<0.001),myalgia,and fatigue(45.9%vs.13.6%;P<0.001).The risks of the development of severe events(adjusted hazard ratio[AHR]=1.25;95%confidence interval[CI]:0.76–2.06;P=0.378)and mortality(relative risk[RR]=0.90,95%CI:0.79–1.04;P=0.416)in the cancer survivor cohort were comparable to those of the matched non-cancer patient cohort.However,the cancer survivor cohort showed a higher incidence of secondary infection(52.5%vs.30.1%;RR=1.47,95%CI:1.11–1.95;P=0.002)and a prolonged viral RNA shedding duration(32 days[IQR 26.0–46.0]vs.24.0 days[IQR 18.0–33.0];AHR=0.54;95%CI:0.38–0.80;P<0.05).Conclusion Compared to non-cancer patients,cancer survivors with COVID-19 exhibited a higher incidence of secondary infection,a prolonged period of viral shedding,but comparable risks of the development of severe events and mortality.It is helpful for clinicians to take tailored measures to treat cancer survivors with COVID-19.Hui Peng Sheng Wang Qi Mei Yuhong Dai Jian Li Ming Li Kathrin Halfter Xueyan Jiang Qin Huang Lei Wang Wei Wei Ru Liu Zhen cao Motuma Yigezu Daba Fangfang Wang Bingqing Zhou Hong Qiu Xianglin Yuan 2020Oncology and Translational Medicine2020,6,6:1
6Light from space illuminating the polar silk road显示文摘The rapid decline of Arctic sea ice has been reminding us the significant impacts caused by global warming.However,the other side of the coin is that this opens a window to utilize the Arctic sea routes in the summer seasons,bringing remarkable economic benefits for ocean transportation between Asia and Europe.However,commercial vessels with low ice classes must tackle substantial environmental challenges in the Arctic sea routes,particularly those caused by variable sea ice,even in the melting seasons.Therefore,the science-based support for shipping safety in the Arctic sea routes is being given more prominence.Emerging satellite remote sensing technology plays a critical role in environmental monitoring in the Arctic.This paper reviews state-of-the-art satellite observations on monitoring sea ice and potential applications on supporting shipping activities in the Arctic Ocean.Moreover,we introduced a recently developed system based on satellite observations to support the safe transportation of Chinese cargo vessels in the Arctic northern sea route,demonstrating the efforts by both the science and business communities to promote the development of the polar silk road.Xiao-Ming Li Yujia Qiu Yacheng Wang Bingqing Huang Haiming Lu Min Chu Han Fu Fengming Hui 2022International Journal of Digital Earth2022,15,1:0

8Dynamic antimicrobial resistant patterns of Escherichia coli from healthy poultry and swine over 10 years in Chongming Island,Shanghai显示文摘Background:Antimicrobial resistance(AMR)is one of the greatest threats to animal and public health.Here,we conducted a dynamic surveillance of Escherichia coli on Chongming Island in Shanghai during 2009-2021 to identify the characteristics and trends of Chongming’s AMR pandemic.Methods:Rectal(cloaca)swabs from four poultry and nine swine farms(Chongming Island,2009-2021)were collected for E.coli strains acquisition.The micro-broth dilution method was used to test antimicrobial susceptibility of E.coli isolates against 10 antimicrobial classes including 15 antimicrobials.Utilizing generalized linear mixed models(GLMMs)and co-occurrence analyses,we further explored the multiple-drug-resistance(MDR)combinations and dynamic patterns of E.coli over 10 years in two food animals.Results:Total of 863 MDR isolates were found among 945 collected E.coli isolates,337 from poultry and 608 from swine.Both isolates exhibited high resistant rates(>70%)to tetracyclines,phenicols,sulfonamides,penicillins,and aminoglycosides(only in swine).The resistant rates of swine isolates to penicillins,aminoglycosides,tetracyclines,phenicols,and polymyxins were significantly higher than those of poultry isolates,whereas resistance to fluoroquinolones was reversed.Resistance to polymyxins decreased similarly in swine(42.4%in 2009 to 0.0%in 2021)and poultry isolates(from 16.5%to 0.0%).However,resistance to other seven antimicrobial classes(excluding carbapenems and penicillins)declined dramatically in swine isolates,particularly fluoroquinolones(from 80.5%to 14.4%),and tendencies of resistance to the seven classes showed markedly divergent patterns in poultry isolates.Using Poisson GLMMs,the AMR carriage since 2016 was significantly lower than that of 2009(odds ratio<1),indicating a decline in the risk of MDR emergence.Furthermore,despite the highly diverse MDR profiles,co-occurrence analysis identified two prominent MDR clusters of penicillins-phenicols-fluoroquinolones in poultry and aminoglycosides-tetracyclines-sulfonamides-phenicols in swine.Conclusions:Our study uncovered vastly distinct AMR patterns and dynamic tendencies of poultry and swine E.coli isolates from Chongming.Meanwhile,Chongming’s AMR status has ameliorated,as indicated by the decline in antimicrobials prevalence(particularly in swine),lower likelihood of MDR emergence and low carbapenem-,cephalosporin-,and polymyxin resistance.Importantly,this surveillance results are the vital basis for future policy development in Chongming and Shanghai.Chao Lv Jun Shang Wengang Zhang Bingqing Sun Min Li Chaoyi Guo Nan Zhou Xiaokui Guo Shixin Huang Yongzhang Zhu 2022Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,5:0
9Pan-Arctic ocean wind and wave data by spaceborne SAR显示文摘The Arctic is one of the most significant changing areas on the Earth under the climate change scenario.More regions in the Arctic are becoming ice-free oceans in the melting season or through the whole year.Therefore,ocean wind and wave,as the two most important parameters in the air-sea interface,are drawing signifi-cant attention to the Arctic Ocean.Scatterometer and radar alti-meter are the two traditional remote sensing instruments for ocean wind and wave observations,while the former is limited by coarse spatial resolution and the latter has small spatial coverage.Wind and wave data in high spatial resolution and wide coverage by synthetic aperture radar(SAR)are currently lacking in the Arctic Ocean.We developed an ocean wind and wave dataset by Sentinel-1 SAR in the pan-Arctic Ocean(above 60°N),covering January 2017 to May 2021.By comparing with sea surface wind speed data of scatterometer,the SAR-retrieved wind data achieve an accuracy of 1.23 m/s,in terms of root mean square error(RMSE).Compared with significant wave height data of radar altimeter,the SAR retrievals have an RMSE of 0.66 m.The data records are in the standard NetCDF-4 format.The dataset is publicly available at:http://www.dx.doi.org/10.11922/sciencedb.00834.Xiao-Ming Li Ke Wu Bingqing Huang 2022Big Earth Data2022,6,2:0
10Promotion of photocatalytic steam reforming of methane over Ag^0/Ag^+-SrTiO3显示文摘Methane(CH4)is not only used as a fuel but also as a promising clean energy source for hydrogen generation.The steam reforming of CH4(SRM)using photocatalysts can realize the production of syngas(CO+H2)with low energy consumption.In this work,Ag0/Ag+-loaded SrTi03 nanocomposites were successfully prepared through a photodeposition method.When the loading amount of Ag is 0.5 mol%,the atom ratio of Ag+to Ag0 was found to be 51:49.In this case,a synergistic effect of Ago and Ag+was observed,in which Ago was proposed to improve the adsorption of H2 O to produce hydroxyl radicals and enhance the utilization of light energy as well as the separation of charge carriers.Meanwhile,Ag0 was regarded as the reduction reaction site with the function of an electron trapping agent.In addition,Ag+adsorbed the CH4 molecules and acted as the oxidation reaction sites in the process of photocatalytic SRM to further promote electron-hole separation.As a result,0.5 mol%Ag-SrTi03 exhibited enhancement of photocatalytic activity for SRM with the highest CO production rate of 4.3μmol g-1 h-1,which is ca.5 times higher than that of pure SrTi03.This work provides a facile route to fabricate nanocomposite with cocatalyst featuring different functions in promoting photocatalytic activity for SRM.Bingqing Tan Yinghao Ye Zeai Huang Liqun Ye Minzhi Ma Ying Zhou 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,6:0
11Application of Hazard Vulnerability Analysis Based on Kaiser Model in Neonatal Breast Milk Management显示文摘Objective:To analyze the existing risks in breast milk management at the neonatal department and provide corresponding countermeasures.Methods:22 risk events were identified in 7 risk links in the process of bottle-feeding of breast milk.Hazard Vulnerability Analysis based on the Kaiser model was applied to investigate and evaluate the risk events.Results:High-risk events include breast milk quality inspection,hand hygiene during collection,disinfection of collectors,cold chain management,hand hygiene during the reception,breast milk closed-loop management,and post-collection disposal.Root cause analysis of high-risk events was conducted and breast milk management strategies outside the hospital and within the neonatal department were proposed.Conclusion:Hazard Vulnerability Analysis based on the Kaiser model can identify and assess neonatal breast milk management risks effectively,which helps improve the management of neonatal breast milk.It is conducive to the safe development and promotion of bottle feeding of breast milk for neonates,ensuring the quality of medical services and the safety of children.Bingqing Zheng Wenqing Zhang Xiaoxia Huang 2024Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2024,8,1:0
