5Study of atmospheric CO2 and CH4 at Longfengshan WMO/GAW regional station: The variations, trends, influence of local sources/sinks, and transport显示文摘Atmospheric CO_2 and CH_4 have been continuously measured since 2009 at Longfengshan WMO/GAW station(LFS) in China. Variations of the mole fractions, influence of long-distance transport, effects of local sources/sinks and the characteristics of synoptic scale variations have been studied based on the records from 2009 to 2013. Both the CO_2 and CH_4 mole fractions display increasing trends in the last five years, with growth rates of 3.1±0.02 ppm yr.1 for CO_2 and 8±0.04 ppb yr.1(standard error, 1-σ)for CH_4. In summer, the regional CO_2 mole fractions are apparently lower than the Marine Boundary Layer reference, with the lowest value of.13.6±0.7 ppm in July, while the CH_4 values are higher than the MBL reference, with the maximum of 139±6 ppb.From 9 to 17(Local time, LT) in summer, the atmospheric CO_2 mole fractions at 10 m a.g.l. are always lower than at 80 m, with a mean difference of.1.1±0.2 ppm, indicating that the flask sampling approach deployed may underestimate the background mole fractions in summer. In winter, anthropogenic emissions dominate the regional CO_2 and CH_4 mole fractions. Cluster analysis of backward trajectories shows that atmospheric CO_2 and CH_4 at LFS are influenced by anthropogenic emissions from the southwest(Changchun and Jilin city) all year. 6The Influence of Trans-1,4-poly(butadiene-co-isoprene) Copolymer Rubbers(TBIR) with Different Molecular Weights on the NR/TBIR Blends显示文摘The molecular weight of a polymer is of prime importance and greatly influences the processing and mechanical properties of the polymer. Trans-1,4-poly(butadiene-co-isoprene) multi-block copolymer rubbers(TBIR) exhibit outstanding fatigue resistance, low heat build-up and good abrasion resistance, and are expected to be desirable candidate for high performance tire. Study on the influence of TBIR with different molecular weights on the structure and properties of TBIR and natural rubber(NR)/TBIR blends is essential to understand its contribution to the greatly improved dynamic properties of the rubber vulcanizates. TBIR with different molecular weights characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, GPC, and DSC were highly trans-1,4-copolymers with similar chain sequence distribution and crystalline trans-1,4-polyisoprene(TPI) blocks. The green strength and modulus of TBIR increased with the increasing molecular weight.The NR/TBIR compounds filled with 40 phr carbon black were chemically cured by sulfur for the preparation of NR/TBIR vulcanizates.The compatibility between NR and TBIR, filler distribution, crosslinking bond and density, and properties of NR/TBIR vulcanizates were studied. The NR/TBIR vulcanizates showed increasing tensile strength, hardness, modulus, rebound, abrasion resistance, and flexural fatigue properties with increasing molecular weight of TBIR. Furthermore, they presented significant improvement in flexural fatigue resistance when compared with that of NR vulcanizate. The contribution mechanism of TBIR on the NR/TBIR blends was discussed. 8Efficacy of stenting for unprotected left main coronary artery disease in 297 patients显示文摘Background Angioplasty in the unprotected left main coronary artery (LMCA) has been controversial. This study aims to evaluate the safety and clinical effectiveness of stenting, including bare metal stent and drug eluting stent (DES), for treatment of unprotected LMCA disease. Methods Between September 1997 and December 2005, a total of 297 consecutive patients underwent percutanous coronary intervention (PCI) on LMCA lesions in our hospital. Their in-hospital data and clinical follow-up outcomes were analyzed and those in pre-DES “era” (group I, from September 1997 to December 2002) were compared with those in DES “era” (groupⅡ, from January 2003 to December 2004. Patients in 2005 for the time of follow-up less than one year were not included in this group). Results Altogether 368 coronary stents were successfully deployed in 295 patients. Stents failed to be implanted after balloon predilation in two patients, who received coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) successfully. Bifurcation techniques for distal LMCA executed in 206 patients (69.4%, 206/297), included crossover stenting in 156 (75.7%), T stenting in 4 (1.9%), provisional T stenting in 28 (13.6%), kissing stenting in 5 (2.4%) and stent crushing in 13 (6.3%) patients. During their hospital stay, 5 (1.7%) patients died after PCI procedure, of which 4 died from cardiac origin and one of renal failure. The total in-hospital major adverse cardiac events (MACE) were 2.0% (6/297). In the follow-up period, 19 patients (6.5%) died [15 (5.1%) of cardiac death and 4 of non-fatal myocardial infarction (MI)]. Besides, 2 (0.7%) developed subacute thrombosis (SAT) and 16 (5.4%) performed target lesion revascularization (TLR). The total follow-up MACE was 14.5% (43/297). Further analysis also showed that, compared with patients in group I, those in groupⅡapparently had more multi-vessel involvement (14.7% vs 81.9%, P<0.001), and more bifurcation lesions (32.4% vs 72.2%, P<0.001). After PCI, in-hospital MACE of group II was significantly lower than that in group I (1.1% vs 9.4%, P<0.05). And the incidences of MACE, TLR and angiographic restenosis in group II were all significantly lower than those in group I (all P<0.05) after one year follow-up. 10Generatrix shape optimization of stiffened shells for low imperfection sensitivity显示文摘According to previous studies,stiffened shells with convex hyperbolic generatrix shape are less sensitive to imperfections.In this study,the effects of generatrix shape on the performances of elastic and plastic buckling in stiffened shells are investigated.Then,a more general description of generatrix shape is proposed,which can simply be expressed as a convex B-spline curve(controlled by four key points).An optimization framework of stiffened shells with a convex B-spline generatrix is established,with optimization objective being measured in terms of nominal collapse load,which can be expressed as a weighted sum of geometrically imperfect shells.The effectiveness of the proposed framework is demonstrated by a detailed comparison of the optimum designs for the B-spline and hyperbolic generatrix shapes.The decrease of imperfection sensitivity allows for a significant weight saving,which is particularly important in the development of future heavy-lift launch vehicles.WANG Bo HAO Peng LI Gang WANG XiaoJun TANG XiaoHan LUAN Yu 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,10:6
11Biofilm-inspired adhesive and antibacterial hydrogel with tough tissue integration performance for sealing hemostasis and wound healing显示文摘Uncontrolled bleeding and infection can cause significant increases in mortalities.Hydrogel sealants have attracted extensive attention for their ability to control bleeding.However,because interfacial water is a formidable barrier to strong surface bonding,a challenge remains in finding a product that offers robust tissue adhesion combined with anti-infection properties.Inspired by the strong adhesive mechanism of biofilm and mussels,we report a novel dual bionic adhesive hydrogel(DBAH)based on chitosan grafted with methacrylate(CS-MA),dopamine(DA),and N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide(NMA)via a facile radical polymerization process.CS-MA and DA were simultaneously included in the adhesive polymer for imitating the two key adhesive components:polysaccharide intercellular adhesin(PIA)of staphylococci biofilm and 3,4-dihydroxy-L-phenylalanine(Dopa)of mussel foot protein,respectively.DBAH presented strong adhesion at 34 kPa even upon three cycles of full immersion in water and was able to withstand up to 168 mm Hg blood pressure,which is significantly higher than the 60–160 mm Hg measured in most clinical settings.Most importantly,these hydrogels presented outstanding hemostatic capability under wet and dynamic in vivo movements while displaying excellent antibacterial properties and biocompatibility.Therefore,DBAH represents a promising class of biomaterials for high-efficiency hemostasis and wound healing.Wei Han Bo Zhou Kai Yang Xin Xiong Shifang Luan Yu Wang Zheng Xu Peng Lei Zhengshan Luo Jian Gao Yijing Zhan Guopu Chen Lei Liang Rui Wang Sha Li Hong Xu 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,4:6

14Glycosylation-independent binding to extracellular domains 11-13 of mannose-6-phosphate/insulin-like growth factor-2 receptor mediates the effects of soluble CREG on the phenotypic proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells显示文摘Background The present study aimed to investigate the detailed mode and specific sites for their binding as well as the functional relevance of this binding in the phenotypic proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells(SMCs). Methods CREG knocked-down SMCs were employed to evaluate the biological activity of wtCREG and mCREG.Expressions of SMC differentiation markers SM myosin heavy chain(SM-MHC),SM-actin,heavy caldesmon and myocardin were determined by Western blotting using specific antibodies. Cellular growth of SMCs was assessed by bromide dewuridine (BrdU) incorporation and cell cycle analysis on fluorescence-activated cell sorting(FACS).A solid-phase binding assay was used to study the binding of CREG to extracellular domains of M6P/IGF2R.The cellular co-localization of the two recombinant CREGs with M6P/IGF2R was detected on SMC surface by immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence analysis.Results The molecular weight of wtCREG was around 30 kD while that of the mCREG was~25 kD.Treatment of wtCREG with PNGase F reduced its molecular weight from~30 kD to~25 kD,whereas PNGase F treatment had no effect on the molecular weight of mCREG.Both wtCREG and mCREG proteins enhanced SMC differentiation,inhibited BrdU incorporation,and arrested cell cycle progression when added to the culture medium.In CREG knocked-down SMCs,the amount of CREG detected by immunoblotting in M6P/IGF2R immunoprecipitates was significantly reduced when compared to normal cells.Both recombinant CREGs co-immunoprecipitated with M6P/IGF2R, although slightly reduced amount of the mutant CREG was detected in M6P/IGF2R immunoprecipitates.Immunostaining revealed that His-tagged CREGs co-localized with IGF2R on the cell surface in a glycosylation-independent manner.In vitro binding assay showed that CREGs bound to M6P/ IGF2R extracellular domains 7-10 and 11-13 in a glycosylation -dependent and -independent manner,respectively.Further blocking experiments using soluble M6P/IGF2R fragments and M6P/IGF2R neutralizing antibody indicated that the biological activities of recombinant CREGs in SMC growth and the up-regulation of SMC differentiation markers were all abolished by treatment with the M6P/IGF2R neutralizing antibody. 19Deformation bands in fully pearlitic steel during wire drawing显示文摘The deformation of fully pearlitic steels during wire drawing has been investigated for both longitudinal section and transverse section by back-scattered electron imaging(BSEI),electron back-scattered diffraction(EBSD),and transmission electron microscope(TEM).The results show that a large number of deformation bands(DBs)composed of a mixture of kink-like bands and shear-like bands were observed both in the longitudinal section and the traverse section of the drawn wires.The formation of such bands involves two aspects:heterogeneous deformation in the scale of pearlite colonies and instability of ferrite-cementite interfaces due to stress concentration during wire drawing.The development of such bands in fully pearlitic steels dominates the formation of metallographic texture,reduces the pearlite interlamellar spacing and promotes the development of<110>fiber crystalline texture of ferrite matrix during wire drawing.GUO Ning SONG Bo LUAN BaiFeng CHEN ZhiQian LIU Qing 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,4:2
20Novel polybenzimidazole/graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets composite membrane for the application of acid-alkaline amphoteric water electrolysis显示文摘It is a great challenge to develop membrane materials with high performance and long durability for acidalkaline amphoteric water electrolysis.Hence,the graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))nanosheets were compounded with the(2,2'-m-phenylene)-5,5'-benzimidazole(m-PBI)matrix for the preparation of m-PBI/g-C_(3)N_(4) composite membranes.The synthesis of g-C_(3)N_(4) nanosheets and m-PBI matrix have been confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscoy(TEM)and ^(1)H nuclear magnetic resonance spectra(^(1)H NMR),respectively.The fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)and SEM of the composite membranes showed the g-C_(3)N_(4) nanosheets were well dispersed in the m-PBI/g-C_(3)N_(4) composite membrane.The mechanical properties test exhibited the good mechanical strength,and the TGA curves of m-PBI showed the high thermal stability of composite membranes.Besides,the m-PBI/g-C_(3)N_(4) composite membrane showed excellent proton and hydroxide ion conductivity,which was higher than pure m-PBI and Nafion 115 membrane.The acid-alkaline amphoteric water electrolysis test showed m-PBI/1%g-C_(3)N_(4) composite membrane has the best performance with a current density of 800 mA cm^(-2) at cell voltage of 1.98 V at 20℃.It showed that m-PBI/g-C_(3)N_(4) composite membrane has a good application prospect for acid-alkaline amphoteric water electrolysis.Bo Lv Hang Yin Zhigang Shao Zoujie Luan Ziyi Huang Shucheng Sun Yue Teng Chunhui Miu Qiang Gao 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1:2
