1Whole-genome sequencing of 508 patients identifies key molecular features associated with poor prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is a poor-prognosis cancer type with limited understanding of its molecular etiology.Using 508 ESCC genomes,we identified five novel significantly mutated genes and uncovered mutational signature clusters associated with metastasis and patients’outcomes.Several functional assays implicated that NFE2L2 may act as a tumor suppressor in ESCC and that mutations in NFE2L2 probably impaired its tumor-suppressive function,or even conferred oncogenic activities.Additionally,we found that the NFE2L2 mutations were significantly associated with worse prognosis of ESCC.We also identified potential noncoding driver mutations including hotspot mutations in the promoter region of SLC35E2 that were correlated with worse survival.Approximately 5.9%and 15.2%of patients had high tumor mutation burden or actionable mutations,respectively,and may benefit from immunotherapy or targeted therapies.We found clinically relevant coding and noncoding genomic alterations and revealed three major subtypes that robustly predicted patients’outcomes.Collectively,we report the largest dataset of genomic profiling of ESCC useful for developing ESCC-specific biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment.Yongping Cui Hongyan Chen Ruibin Xi Heyang Cui Yahui Zhao Enwei Xu Ting Yan Xiaomei Lu Furong Huang Pengzhou Kong Yang Li Xiaolin Zhu Jiawei Wang Wenjie Zhu Jie Wang Yanchun Ma Yong Zhou Shiping Guo Ling Zhang Yiqian Liu Bin Wang Yanfeng Xi Ruifang Sun Xiao Yu Yuanfang Zhai Fang Wang Jian Yang Bin Yang Caixia Cheng Jing Liu Bin Song Hongyi Li Yi Wang Yingchun Zhang Xiaolong Cheng Qimin Zhan Yanhong Li Zhihua Liu-Show 2020Cell Research2020,30,10:19

3Poaceae Orthologs of Rice OsSGL,DUF1645 Domain-Containing Genes,Positively Regulate Drought Tolerance,Grain Length and Weight in Rice显示文摘Grain yield is a polygenic trait that can be influenced by environmental factors and genetic compositions at all plant growth stages.Currently,the molecular mechanisms behind the coordination of the interaction between grain yield-related traits remain unknown.In this study,we characterized the function of four STRESS_tolerance and GRAIN_LENGTH(Os SGL)Poaceae ortholog genes that are transcribed into DUF1645 domain-containing proteins in relation to the grain length,grain weight,and drought stress-tolerance of rice.The transgenic plants with overexpressing or heterologous high levels of Poaceae OsSGL ortholog genes exhibited longer grain size than the wild type plants.Larger cells were seen in panicles of the four transgenic lines with paraffin sectioning and scanning electron microscopy analyses.In addition,four Poaceae OsSGL ortholog genes positively affected the drought tolerance of rice.Four transgenic plants displayed higher resistance to drought stress at the seedling and vegetative stages.RNA-sequencing and qRT-PCR results indicated that over-or heterologous-expression of four Poaceae OsSGL ortholog genes also affected the transcriptome of rice plants.These genes may play a role in auxin and cytokinin biosynthesis and their transduction pathways.Taken together,these results suggested that the four OsSGL orthologs have a conserved function in the regulation of stress-tolerance and cell growth by modulating hormonal biosynthesis and signaling.LIU Kai LI Minjuan ZHANG Bin YIN Xuming XIA Xinjie WANG Manling CUI Yanchun 2022Rice science2022,29,3:2

6Microstructure and properties evolution of plasma sprayed Al_(2)O_(3)-Y_(2)O_(3) composite coatings during high temperature and thermal shock treatment显示文摘Al_(2)O_(3)-Y_(2)O_(3) composite powder with TiO_(2) additive was plasma sprayed to prepare Al_(2)O_(3)-Y_(2)O_(3) composite coatings.The micro structure and properties evolution of the Al_(2)O_(3)-Y_(2)O_(3) coatings during high temperature and thermal shock resistance were investigated.The results show that the micro structure of the Al_(2)O_(3)-Y_(2)O_(3)-TiO_(2) coating is more uniform than that of the Al_(2)O_(3)-Y_(2)O_(3) coating.Meanwhile,amorphous phase is formed in the two coatings.The Al_(2)O_(3)-Y_(2)O_(3)(-TiO_(2)) coatings were heat treated for 2 h at temperatures of 800,1000 and 1200℃,respectively.It is found that the microstructure and properties of the two coatings have no obvious change at 800℃.Some of the amorphous phase is crystallized at1000℃,and meanwhile Y_(2)O_(3) and Al_(2)O_(3) react to form YAG phase and YAM phase.At 1200℃,all of the amorphous phases are crystallized.After heat treatment,the micro hardness of the two coatings is increased.The thermal shock resistance of the Al_(2)O_(3)-Y_(2)O_(3) system coatings can be improved by using TC4 titanium alloy as substrate and with NiCrAlY bonding layer.Moreover,the Al_(2)O_(3)-Y_(2)O_(3)-TiO_(2) coating exhibits better thermal shock resistance due to the addition of TiO_(2).Xingyu Wang Xiaolong Wang Xiaowen Sun Yong Yang Chen Zhang Yuduo Ma Yuhang Cui Yanchun Dong Dianran Yan You Wang 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,6:0
7Double oxide film defects in Ni-based super-alloy castings显示文摘A new class of defects has been recently discovered,which are regarded double oxide film defects.In this study, a number of Ni-based vacuum-cast test bars were investigated. The fractures in the broken test barswere observed by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), as well asWavelength Dispersive Spectroscopy (WDS) were used to characterize the chemical elements of the fracture'ssurface. Observation by SEM revealed the presence of inclusions identified as films that appeared to have initiatedthe growth of carbides. This study has added to the evidence that oxide film defects do exist in Ni-based super-alloyin certain vacuum casting conditions. 8Quantitative analysis of the intertube coupling effect on the photoluminescence characteristics of distinct(n,m)carbon nanotubes dispersed in solution显示文摘In this work,we quantitatively studied the intertube coupling of different(n,m)-sorted semiconducting single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)on their photoluminescence(PL)efficiencies by precisely tuning the ratio of(9,4)and(6,5)SWCNTs in the mixture.A significant decrease in the PL intensity of(9,4)SWCNTs was observed after mixing with(6,5)species when fixing the(9,4)concentration,which was confirmed to be caused by the absorption of incident photons and reabsorption of the emitted photons by the added(6,5)species.By contrast,a similar decrease in the PL intensity of(6,5)SWCNTs was also observed after mixing with the larger-diameter(9,4)species.Different from that of(9,4)SWCNTs,the PL decrease of(6,5)SWCNTs was found to originate not only from photon absorption and reabsorption by the(9,4)species but also from one-way exciton energy transfer(EET)from the(6,5)SWCNTs to the larger-diameter(9,4)SWCNTs.Both the experimental results and numerical simulations further demonstrated that increasing the concentration of mixed(9,4)SWCNTs would enhance the effects of photon absorption and reabsorption and EET on the PL intensity of(6,5)SWCNTs quantified by the decrease ratio of the(6,5)PL intensity.Meanwhile,the influence of EET was found to be always weaker than that of photon absorption and reabsorption.We proposed that the observed EET between isolated SWCNTs in a surfactant solution is derived from their proximity due to Brownian motion.Shilong Li Dehua Yang Jiaming Cui Yanchun Wang Xiaojun Wei Weiya Zhou Hiromichi Kataura Sishen Xie Huaping Liu 2020Nano Research2020,13,4:0
9Prediction of wax precipitation region in wellbore during deep water oil well testing显示文摘During deep water oil well testing, the low temperature environment is easy to cause wax precipitation, which affects the normal operation of the test and increases operating costs and risks. Therefore, a numerical method for predicting the wax precipitation region in oil strings was proposed based on the temperature and pressure fields of deep water test string and the wax precipitation calculation model. And the factors affecting the wax precipitation region were analyzed. The results show that: the wax precipitation region decreases with the increase of production rate, and increases with the decrease of geothermal gradient, increase of water depth and drop of water-cut of produced fluid, and increases slightly with the increase of formation pressure. Due to the effect of temperature and pressure fields, wax precipitation region is large in test strings at the beginning of well production. Wax precipitation region gradually increases with the increase of shut-in time. 10北京市通州区居民肝脏健康状况调查显示文摘目的了解北京市通州区居民病毒性肝炎[乙型病毒性肝炎(chronic hepatitis B,CHB)、丙型病毒性肝炎(chronic hepatitis C,CHC)]、非酒精性脂肪性肝病(nonalcoholic liver disease,NAFLD)和酒精性脂肪性肝病(alcoholic liver disease,ALD)发病特点,为肝脏疾病防治提供科学依据。方法选择在北京市通州区居住超过6个月并且有北京市医保的25岁及以上人群为调查对象开展问卷调查,并进行相关体格检查和生化、影像检查。以χ^(2)检验比较不同特征调查对象检出率差异。结果共调查8014人,平均年龄(45.65±14.19)岁,乙型肝炎病毒(hepatitis B virus,HBV)HBsAg阳性率为1.80%,丙型肝炎病毒(hepatitis C virus,HCV)RNA阳性率为0.20%,NAFLD检出率为37.37%,ALD检出率为3.88%。HBV、HCV不同特征人群阳性率差异无统计学意义。随着年龄增长,NAFLD和ALD检出率均呈增长趋势,肥胖人群NAFLD和ALD检出率均高于非肥胖人群,代谢综合征(MS)人群检出率均高于非MS人群。结论通州区NAFLD检出率较高,已经成为通州区居民肝脏健康状况的主要问题,应通过开展健康宣教等措施降低发病率。赵春艳 张建明 王怀 石晶 张国峰 Liu Bo Sun Yuanjie Deng Yanchun Cui Ting Li Yue 2022中国肝脏病杂志(电子版)2022,14,4:0
