| 2 | QTL mapping for grain number per spikelet in wheat using a high-density genetic map显示文摘Grain number per spikelet (GNS) is a key determinant of grain yield in wheat.A recombinant inbred line population comprising 300 lines was developed from a cross between a high GNS variety H461 and Chinese Spring from which the reference genome assembly of bread wheat was obtained.Both parents and the recombinant inbred lines were genotyped using the wheat 55K single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) array.A high-density genetic map containing 21,197 SNPs was obtained.These markers covered each of the 21 chromosomes with a total linkage distance of 3792.71 c M.Locations of these markers in this linkage map were highly consistent with their physical locations in the genome assembly of Chinese Spring.The two parents and the whole RIL population were assessed for GNS in two consecutive years at two different locations.Based on multi-environment phenotype data and best liner unbiased prediction values,three quantitative trait loci (QTL) for GNS were identified.One of them located on chromosomes 2B and the other two on 2D.Phenotypic variation explained by these loci varied from 3.07%to26.57%.One of these QTL,QGns.sicau-2D-2,was identified in each of all trials conducted.Based on the best linear unbiased prediction values,this locus explained 19.59%–26.57%of phenotypic variation.A KASP(Kompetitive Allele-Specific PCR) marker closely linked with this locus was generated and used to validate the effects of this locus in three different genetic backgrounds.The identified QTL and the KASP marker developed for it will be highly valuable in fine-mapping the locus and in exploiting it for markerassisted selection in wheat breeding programs. | Yu Lin Xiaojun Jiang Haiyan Hu Kunyu Zhou Qing Wang Shifan Yu Xilan Yang Zhiqiang Wang Fangkun Wu Shihang Liu Caixia Li Mei Deng Jian Ma Guangdeng Chen Yuming Wei Youliang Zheng Yaxi Liu | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,5: | 4 |
| 3 | Hydroxyapatite Bioceramic Coatings Prepared by Hydrothermal-electrochemical Deposition Method显示文摘The hydroxyapatite(HA) ceramic coating was successfully prepared on Ti6Al4V alloy by the hydrothermal-electrochemical deposition method with constant voltage model. The phases of deposits were analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The releationship between crystallinity and depositing temperature was discussed. The microstructures of hydroxyapatite coating were observed by scanning electron microscope. The experimental results showed that the phases, crystallinity and morphologies of deposits were influenced by depositing temperature(100 ℃, 120 ℃, 140 ℃, 160 ℃, 180 ℃ and 200 ℃, respectively). The special hydrothermal environment can lower the crystallization temperature of HA. The crystallinity of HA increases firstly and then decreases with the increase of temperature. There is little hydroxyapatite deposited on the Ti6Al4V surface when the depositing temperature is 100 ℃. The HA deposition increases with the increase of the depositing temperature. | 4 | Gut microbiota mediates the absorption of FLZ,a new drug for Parkinson’s disease treatment显示文摘The gut microbiota plays an important role in regulating the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of many drugs.FLZ,a novel squamosamide derivative,has been shown to have neuroprotective effects on experimental Parkinson’s disease(PD)models.FLZ is under phase I clinical trial now,while the underlying mechanisms contributing to the absorption of FLZ are still not fully elucidated.Due to the main metabolite of FLZ was abundant in feces but rare in urine and bile of mice,we focused on the gut microbiota to address how FLZ was metabolized and absorbed.In vitro studies revealed that FLZ could be exclusively metabolized to its major metabolite M1 by the lanosterol 14 alpha-demethylase(CYP51)in the gut microbiota,but was almost not metabolized by any other metabolism-related organs,such as liver,kidney,and small intestine.M1 was quickly absorbed into the blood and then remethylated to FLZ by catechol O-methyltransferase(COMT).Notably,dysbacteriosis reduced the therapeutic efficacy of FLZ on the PD mouse model by inhibiting its absorption.The results show that the gut microbiota mediate the absorption of FLZ through a FLZ-M1-FLZ circulation.Our research elucidates the vital role of the gut microbiota in the absorption of FLZ and provides a theoretical basis for clinical pharmacokinetic studies and clinical application of FLZ in the treatment of PD. | Junmei Shang Shurong Ma Caixia Zang Xiuqi Bao Yan Wang Dan Zhang | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,5: | 3 |
| 5 | Approaching 18%efficiency of ternary organic photovoltaics with wide bandgap polymer donor and well compatible Y6:Y6-1O as acceptor显示文摘A series of ternary organic photovoltaics(OPVs)are fabricated with one wide bandgap polymer D18-Cl as donor,and well compatible Y6 and Y6-1O as acceptor.The open-circuit-voltage(V_(OC))of ternary OPVs is monotonously increased along with the incorporation of Y6-1O,indicating that the alloy state should be formed between Y6 and Y6-1O due to their excellent compatibility.The energy loss can be minimized by incorporating Y6-1 O,leading to the V_(OC)improvement of ternary OPVs.By finely adjusting the Y6-1O content,a power conversion efficiency of 17.91%is achieved in the optimal ternary OPVs with 30 wt%Y6-1O in acceptors,resulting from synchronously improved short-circuit-current density(JSC)of 25.87 mA cm^(-2),fill factor(FF)of 76.92%and V_(OC)of 0.900 V in comparison with those of D18-Cl:Y6 binary OPVs.The JSC and FF improvement of ternary OPVs should be ascribed to comprehensively optimal photon harvesting,exciton dissociation and charge transport in ternary active layers.The more efficient charge separation and transport process in ternary active layers can be confirmed by the magnetophotocurrent and impedance spectroscopy experimental results,respectively.This work provides new insight into constructing highly efficient ternary OPVs with well compatible Y6 and its derivative as acceptor. | Xiaoling Ma Anping Zeng Jinhua Gao Zhenghao Hu Chunyu Xu Jae Hoon Son Sang Young Jeong Caixia Zhang Mengyang Li Kai Wang He Yan Zaifei Ma Yongsheng Wang Han Young Woo Fujun Zhang | 2021 | National Science Review2021,8,8: | 3 |

| 7 | Effect of Different Combined Treatments on Tomato Seedling Growth in High-temperature Season显示文摘The study on raising of strong tomato seedlings in high-temperature season is of great practical significance,because high-temperature condition in summer and autumn causes excessive growth of tomato seedlings easily. ‘Fenniya'variety was selected as an experimental material,an orthogonal experiment was designed with rhizospheric temperature( A),light intensity( B) and nutrient salt concentration( C) as three factors which were designed with three levels,so as to study the effects of different treatments on root activity,strong seedling index,hypocotyl length and average internode length. The results showed that the most important factor for tomato seedling's root activity,hypocotyl length and internode length was nutrient salt concentration. In terms of effect on seedling index,substrate temperature should be reduced properly,to avoid excessive shading. | 11 | Harmful algal bloom-forming dinofl agellate Prorocentrum donghaiense inhibits the growth and photosynthesis of seaweed Sargassum fusiformis embryos显示文摘Harmful algal bloom(HAB)is an ecological disaster to local mariculture.At present,its impact on macrophytes has not been well studied.In this study,we cultivated sexually propagated embryos of S argassum fusiformis-an edible seaweed-in Prorocentrum donghaiense suspensions at different cell densities(0,0.50×10^(5),0.75×10^(5),1.00×10^(5),and 1.50×10^(5) cells/mL)for 10 days,during which growth and photosynthetic activities of the embryos were determined,and a monocultivation was set up for comparison.Results show that the relative growth rate and photosynthetic activities of the embryos co-cultivated with P.donghaiense were inhibited mostly and significantly in the cell densities of 0.75×10^(5),1.00×10^(5),and 1.50×10^(5) cells/mL,and the inhibitory effects increased in overall with increased cell densities.The maximum relative electron transport rates(rETR max)and apparent photosynthetic efficiency(a)of co-cultivated embryos were all significantly lower than monocultivation ones on the 10 th day.Furthermore,the photosynthetic activity detected by chlorophyll-a fluorescence transient(i.e.,OJIP),the electron transport among electron transfer accepters of PSII(photosystem II)and that from PSII to PSI(photosystem I)was restricted,which is probably responsible for the decreases of rETR max andain the co-cultivated embryos.In addition,parts of the photosynthetic reaction centers of PSII in the co-cultivated embryos were inactivated.Therefore,P.donghaiense bloom could restrain the development and photosynthetic activities of S.fusiformis embryos,reduce the seedlings stock,and eventually hinder the development of S.fusiformis production industry. | Caixia WANG Min WANG Binbin CHEN Wenli QIN Lidong LIN Chuanjun DAI Hengguo YU Renhui LI Min ZHAO Zengling MA | 2021 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,6: | 1 |

Acidic protein–lipopolysaccharide complexes are thought to be the toxins responsible for its symptoms. Here,we determined that the sphingolipid biosynthesis inhibitor fumonisin B1(FB1) acts as a toxin and phenocopies the symptoms induced by V. dahliae. Knocking out genes required for FB1 biosynthesis reduced V. dahliae pathogenicity. Moreover, we showed that overexpression of a FB1 and V. dahliae both downregulated gene, Gh IQD10, enhanced verticillium wilt resistance by promoting the expression of brassinosteroid and anti-pathogen genes. The hybrid materials exhibit tunable emission colors by varying the molar ratio of Eu^(3+) to Tb^(3+), and the one with Eu^(3+):Tb^(3+)=1:1 exhibits excellent coordinate of(0.327, 0.328) located in the 'white region' of the CIE 1931 chromaticity diagram(under300 nm UV illumination).
