1Effects of combined splenorenal shunt devascularization and devascularization only on hemodynamics of the portal venous system in patients with portal hypertension显示文摘Shunt and devascularization have totally different effects on hemodynamics of the portal venous system , and the actual results of combined shunt and devascularization should be determined by more clinical observations. This study aimed to evaluate effects on hemodynamics of the portal venous system after conventional spleno-renal shunt combined with pericardial devascularization and pericardial devascularization only. METHODS: In 20 patients who had received conventional splenorenal shunt combined with pericardial devascularization(CP) and 18 who had received pericardial devascularization and splenectomy (PCDV), hemodynamic parameters of the portal venous system were studied by magnetic resonance angiography 1 week before and 2 weeks after operation. Free portal pressure was detected continuously by a transducer during the operation. RESULTS: Compared to the preoperative data, a decreased flow of the portal vein (PVF) (563.12±206.42 ml/min vs 1080.63±352.85 ml/min, P<0.05), a decreased diameter of the portal vein (PVD) (1.20±0.11 cm vs 1.30±0.16 cm, P<0.01 ), a decreased free portal preasure ( FPP ) (21.50±2.67 mmHg vs 29.88±2.30 mmHg, P<0.01) and an increased flow of the superior mesenteric vein (SMVF) (1105.45±309.03 ml/min vs 569.13±178.46 ml/min, P < 0.05) were found in the CP group after operation; a decreased PVD (1.27±0.16 cm vs 1.40±0.23 cm, P<0.05), a decreased PVF (684.60±165.73 ml/min vs 1175.64±415.09 ml/min, P<0.05), a decreased FPP (24.40±3.78 mmHg vs 28.80±3.56 mmHg, P<0.05) and an increased SMVF (697.91+121.83 ml/min vs 521.30±115.82 ml/min, P<0.05) were found in the PCDV group. After operation, the PVF of CP group (563.12±206.42 ml/min vs 684.60±165.73 ml/min, P>0.05) was not decreased significantly while FPP (21.50±2.67 mmHg vs 24.40±3.78 mmHg, P< 0.01) was decreased significantly as compared with that of the PCDV group. PVF and FPP could be decreased by both surgical procedures, but the effect of decreasing FPP is much better in the combined procedures than in PCDV. Since there is no significant difference in PVF between the two groups, the combined procedures could integrate advantages of shunt with those of the devascularization, maintaining the normal anatomy structure of the hepatic portal vein, and should be one of the best choices for patients with PHT when surgical interventions are considered.Department of General Surgery, Renji Hospital, Shanghai 200127, China (Cao H, Hua R and Wu ZY) 2005Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2005,4,3:18

4Xp11易位性肾细胞癌和免疫组化TFE3强阳性的透明细胞性肾细胞癌:形态学、免疫组化和FISH分析显示文摘TFE3是诊断Xp11易位性肾细胞癌的良好标志物。然而,TFE3在其他类型肾细胞癌中的意义尚不清楚。作者利用自动化Ventana BenchMark XT系统采用免疫组化法检测了1 818例肾细胞癌组织中TFE3的表达情况,并用TFE3分裂探针采用荧光原位杂交和RNA测序技术检测了TFE3强阳性病例。27例免疫组化TFE3强阳性的肾细胞癌中,20例诊断为Xp11易位性肾细胞癌,7例诊断为透明细胞性肾细胞癌。作者进一步分析了形态学和临床病理特征,以及免疫组化标志物(CK7、CD117、CD10、P504s、vimentin、CA-IX、CK(AE1/AE3)、EMA、HMB-45、Melan-A和组织蛋白酶K)的表达情况。暗淡至嗜酸性絮状胞质及砂粒体样钙化仅见于Xp11易位性肾细胞癌( P <0.05)。4例pT3a期Xp11易位肾性细胞癌均发生肿瘤性坏死,3年内出现局部复发和远处转移(其中2例死亡)。vimentin、CA-IX、CK(AE1/AE3)和EMA在这两种肾细胞癌中的表达差异有显著性( P <0.05)。魏建国(摘译) 方三高(审校) Yang B Duan H Cao W 2019临床与实验病理学杂志2019,35,8:11
5Transcriptomic landscape regulated by the 14 types of bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs)in lineage commitment and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are ubiquitously-existing multipotent progenitors that can self-renew and differentiate into multiple lineages including osteocytes,chondrocytes,adipocytes,tenocytes and myocytes.MSCs represent one of the most commonly-used adult progenitors and serve as excellent progenitor cell models for investigating lineagespecific differentiation regulated by various cellular signaling pathways,such as bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs).As members of TGFb superfamily,BMPs play diverse and important roles in development and adult tissues.At least 14 BMPs have been identified in mammals.Different BMPs exert distinct but overlapping biological functions.Through a comprehensive analysis of 14 BMPs in MSCs,we demonstrated that BMP9 is one of the most potent BMPs in inducing osteogenic differentiation of MSCs.Nonetheless,a global mechanistic view of BMP signaling in regulating the proliferation and differentiation of MSCs remains to be fully elucidated.Here,we conducted a comprehensive transcriptomic profiling in the MSCs stimulated by 14 types of BMPs.Hierarchical clustering analysis classifies 14 BMPs into three subclusters:an osteo/chondrogenic/adipogenic cluster,a tenogenic cluster,and BMP3 cluster.We also demonstrate that six BMPs(e.g.,BMP2,BMP3,BMP4,BMP7,BMP8,and BMP9)can induce ISmads effectively,while BMP2,BMP3,BMP4,BMP7,and BMP11 up-regulate Smad-independent MAP kinase pathway.Furthermore,we show that many BMPs can upregulate the expression of the signal mediators of Wnt,Notch and PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways.While the reported transcriptomic changes need to be further validated,our expression profiling represents the first-of-its-kind to interrogate a comprehensive transcriptomic landscape regulated by the 14 types of BMPs in MSCs.Linghuan Zhang Qing Luo Yi Shu Zongyue Zeng Bo Huang Yixiao Feng Bo Zhang Xi Wang Yan Lei Zhenyu Ye Ling Zhao Daigui Cao Lijuan Yang Xian Chen Bin Liu William Wagstaff Russell R*Reid Hue H*Luu Rex C*Haydon Michael J*Lee Jennifer Moriatis Wolf Zhou Fu Tong-Chuan He Quan Kang 2019Genes & Diseases2019,6,3:11
6Mechanosignaling activation of TGFβmaintains intervertebral disc homeostasis显示文摘Intervertebral disc(IVD) degeneration is the leading cause of disability with no disease-modifying treatment.IVD degeneration is associated with instable mechanical loading in the spine, but little is known about how mechanical stress regulates nucleus notochordal(NC) cells to maintain IVD homeostasis. Here we report that mechanical stress can result in excessive integrin α_vβ_6-mediated activation of transforming growth factor beta(TGFβ), decreased NC cell vacuoles, and increased matrix proteoglycan production, and results in degenerative disc disease(DDD). Knockout of TGFβ type II receptor(TβRII) or integrin α_v in the NC cells inhibited functional activity of postnatal NC cells and also resulted in DDD under mechanical loading.Administration of RGD peptide, TGFβ, and α_vβ_6-neutralizing antibodies attenuated IVD degeneration. Thus,integrin-mediated activation of TGFβ plays a critical role in mechanical signaling transduction to regulate IVD cell function and homeostasis. 8Improvement of Fracture Toughness Lanthanum Zirconate显示文摘La2Zr2O7 (LZ) is a promising thermal barrier coating material for the high temperature applications. The fracture toughness and microhardness of nanocrystalline LZ (n-LZ), microcrystalline LZ (m-LZ) and LZ-5mol%8YSZ (LZ-5-8YSZ) composite (8YSZ for zirconia stabilized by 8 mol% ytrria) were studied. The n-LZ had a thermal expansion coefficient of (9.6±0.4)×10 -6 K -1 (200~1000℃) and fracture toughness of (1.98±0.07) MPa·m 1/2 which are obviously higher than those of the m-LZ ( (9.1±0.4)×10 -6 K -1 and (1.40±0.23) MPa·m 1/2, respectively), indicating that nanofication was an efficient way to increase the toughness and thermal expansion coefficient of LZ. 11Power management unit chip design for automobile active-matrix organic light-emitting diode display module显示文摘A power management unit (PMU) chip supplying dual panel supply voltage, which has a low electro-magnetic interference (EMI) characteristic and is favorable for miniaturization, is designed. A two-phase charge pump circuit using external pumping capacitor increases its pumping current and works out the charge-loss problem by using bulk-potential biasing circuit. A low-power start-up circuit is also proposed to reduce the power consumption of the band-gap reference voltage generator. And the ring oscillator used in the ELVSS power circuit is designed with logic devices by supplying the logic power supply to reduce the layout area. The PMU chip is designed with MagnaChip’s 0.25 μm high-voltage process. 12Terahertz Semiconductor Quantum Well Devices显示文摘For eventually providing terahertz science with compact and convenient devices,terahertz (1~10THz) quantum-well photodetectors and quantum-cascade lasers are investigated.The design and projected detector performance are presented together with experimental results for several test devices,all working at photon energies below and around optical phonons.Background limited infrared performance (BLIP) operations are observed for all samples (three in total),designed for different wavelengths.BLIP temperatures of 17,13,and 12K are achieved for peak detection frequencies of 9.7THz(31μm),5.4THz(56μm),and 3.2THz(93μm),respectively.A set of THz quantum-cascade lasers with identical device parameters except for doping concentration is studied.The δ-doping density for each period varies from 3.2×1010 to 4.8×1010cm-2.We observe that the lasing threshold current density increases monotonically with doping concentration.Moreover,the measurements for devices with different cavity lengths provide evidence that the free carrier absorption causes the waveguide loss also to increase monotonically.Interestingly the observed maximum lasing temperature is best at a doping density of 3.6×1010cm-2.Liu H C Luo H Ban D Waichter M Song C Y Wasilewski Z R Buchanan M Aers G C SpringThorpe A J Cao J C Feng S L Williams B S Hu Q 2006Journal of Semiconductors2006,27,4:2

14Event-triggered bipartite consensus over cooperation-competition networks under DoS attacks显示文摘This paper addresses the bipartite consensus over cooperation-competition networks affected by denial-of-service(DoS) attacks.Consider that a network consists of multiple interactive agents, and the relationship between neighboring agents is cooperative or competitive. Meanwhile, information transmission among the agents is unavailable during the intervals of attacks. In order to save communication resources and exclude the Zeno behavior, an event-triggered scheme depending on the sampled-data information from neighboring agents is proposed, and efficient defense strategies in response to the attacks are put forward.Suppose that the frequency and duration of DoS attacks meet certain requirements, then according to the signed graph theory,the La Salle’s invariance principle, and the convergence of monotone sequences, the results of bipartite consensus via the eventtriggered protocol are provided, which are mainly related to the communication topology of the network, the sampling period,and the threshold parameters in the event-triggered scheme. It is shown that the bipartite consensus is realized even though the DoS attacks take place frequently. Furthermore, this paper discusses the bipartite consensus in the presence of DoS attacks with a random unsuccessful rate.
