1A FVCOM-Based Unstructured Grid Wave, Current,Sediment Transport Model,I.Model Description and Validation显示文摘An effort was made to couple FVCOM (a three-dimensional (3D),unstructured grid,Finite Volume Coastal Ocean Model) and FVCOM-SWAVE (an unstructured grid,finite-volume surface wave model) for the study of nearshore ocean processes such as tides,circulation,storm surge,waves,sediment transport,and morphological evolution.The coupling between FVCOM and FVCOM-SWAVE was achieved through incorporating 3D radiation stress,wave-current-sediment-related bottom boundary layer,sea surface stress parameterizations,and morphology process.FVCOM also includes a 3D sediment transport module.With accurate fitting of irregular coastlines,the model provides a unique tool to study sediment dynamics in coastal ocean,estuaries,and wetlands where local geometries are characterized by inlets,islands,and intertidal marsh zones.The model was validated by two standard benchmark tests: 1) spectral waves approaching a mild sloping beach and 2) morphological changes of seabed in an idealized tidal inlet.In Test 1,model results were compared with both analytical solutions and laboratory experiments.A further comparison was also made with the structured grid Regional Ocean Model System (ROMS),which provides an insight into the performance of the two models with the same open boundary forcing.WU Lunyu CHEN Changsheng GUO Peifang SHI Maochong QI Jianhua GE Jianzhong 2011Journal of Ocean University of China2011,10,1:15

4Drone-based entanglement distribution towards mobile quantum networks显示文摘Satellites have shown free-space quantum-communication ability;however,they are orbit-limited from full-time all-location coverage.Meanwhile,practical quantum networks require satellite constellations,which are complicated and expensive,whereas the airborne mobile quantum communication may be a practical alternative to offering full-time all-location multi-weather coverage in a cost-effective way.Here,we demonstrate the first mobile entanglement distribution based on drones,realizing multi-weather operation including daytime and rainy nights,with a Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt S-parameter measured to be 2.41±0.14 and 2.49±0.06,respectively.Such a system shows unparalleled mobility,flexibility and reconfigurability compared to the existing satellite and fiber-based quantum communication,and reveals its potential to establish a multinode quantum network,with a scalable design using symmetrical lens diameter and single-mode-fiber coupling.All key technologies have been developed to pack quantum nodes into lightweight mobile platforms for local-area coverage,and arouse further technical improvements to establish wide-area quantum networks with high-altitude mobile communication.Hua-Ying Liu Xiao-Hui Tian Changsheng Gu Pengfei Fan Xin Ni Ran Yang Ji-Ning Zhang Mingzhe Hu Jian Guo Xun Cao Xiaopeng Hu Gang Zhao Yan-Qing Lu Yan-Xiao Gong Zhenda Xie Shi-Ning Zhu 2020National Science Review2020,7,5:6
5Photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange using ZnO/TiO_(2) composites显示文摘ZnO/TiO_(2)composites were synthesized by using the solvothermal method and ultrasonic precipitation followed by heat treatment in order to investigate their photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange(MO)in aqueous suspension under UV irradiation.The composition and surface structure of the catalyst were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The degradation efficiencies of MO at various pH values were obtained.The highest degradation efficiencies were obtained before 30 min and after 60 min at pH 11.0 and pH 2.0,respectively.A sample analysis was conducted using liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization ion-trap mass spectrometry.Six intermediates were found during the photocatalytic degradation process of quinonoid MO.The degradation pathway of quinonoid MO was also proposed.Ming GE Changsheng GUO Xingwang ZHU Lili MA Zhenan HAN Wei HU Yuqiu WANG 2009Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2009,3,3:3
6Single-atom catalysts supported on ordered porous materials:Synthetic strategies and applications显示文摘Single-atom catalysts(SACs)are attracting extensive attention due to their incredibly catalytic activity and selectivity,high utilization of metal atoms,and obvious cost reduction.The unique ordered porous materials(OPMs)are promising carriers for stabilizing single atoms due to their large surface areas and uniformly tunable pore sizes.Meantime,the geometric and electronic structures of single-atom metals can be tuned by the interaction between the single-atoms(SAs)and OPMs to enhance the catalytic activity of SACs.The SACs based on OPMs,such as zeolites,metal-organic frameworks,and ordered mesoporous materials,have been developing fast recently.Herein,we review recent advancements on structural feature,synthetic strategy,characterization technique,and catalytic applications of OPMs-based SACs.The opportunities and challenges about SAs/OPMs are also provided to develop the novel catalysts with superior catalytic performances in the future.Kaiwen Xue Yan Mo Baojun Long Wen Wei Changsheng Shan Shaojun Guo Li Niu 2022InfoMat2022,4,6:3

8Physicochemical properties and volatile components of hempseed oils in Bama region显示文摘A comparison study has been performed in hempseed oils (HSO) extracted from different cultivars in Bama region. Squeezing properties, chemical compositions, thermal stability and flavor profile of pressed HSO were determined in this study. Results indicated that there were no significant differences in crude fat, protein, fiber of different hempseeds and fatty acid composition in HSOs. Hempseeds with small size and dark-colored peel have lower squeezing oil yield than big ones. Average content of total phytosterol, tocopherol and phenol in HSO from small seeds were 872.0 mg/100 g, 124.1 mg/100 g and 15.5 mg SA/100 g respectively. Thermal oxidation by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) revealed three step oxidation of HSO with mean onset and oxidation temperature at 124oC and 135-315oC. Oxidation temperature of HSO from small seeds was higher than that from big seeds (big size and light-colored peel). Main volatile ingredients in HSO contained 11 kinds of monoterpene and 7 kinds of sesquiterpene. Volatile terpene content in HSO from small seeds was nearly 30% higher than that of big seeds. Quality of HSO with different peel feature has significant difference in squeezing yield, thermal stability and volatile flavors. 9Microstructure and mechanical properties of short-carbon-fiber/Ti_(3)SiC_(2) composites显示文摘Short-carbon-fibers(C_(sf))reinforced Ti_(3)SiC_(2) matrix composites(C_(sf)/Ti_(3)SiC_(2),the C_(sf) content was 0 vol%,2 vol%,5 vol%,and 10 vol%)were fabricated by spark plasma sintering(SPS)using Ti_(3)SiC_(2) powders and C_(sf) as starting materials at 1300℃.The effects of C_(sf) addition on the phase compositions,microstructures,and mechanical properties(including hardness,flexural strength(σ_(f)),and KIC)of C_(sf)/Ti_(3)SiC_(2) composites were investigated.The C_(sf),with bi-layered transition layers,i.e.,T_(IC) and SiC layers,were homogeneously distributed in the as-prepared C_(sf)/Ti_(3)SiC_(2) composites.With the increase of C_(sf) content,the K_(IC) of C_(sf)/Ti_(3)SiC_(2) composites increased,but the σ_(f) decreased,and the Vickers hardness decreased initially and then increased steadily when the C_(sf) content was higher than 2 vol%.These changed performances(hardness,σ_(f),and K_(IC))could be attributed to the introduction of C_(sf) and the formation of stronger interfacial phases.Guangqi HE Rongxiu GUO Meishuan LI Yang YANG Linshan WANG Yuhai QIAN Jun ZUO Jingjun XU Changsheng LIU 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,6:2
10Occurrence, distribution and risk assessment of abused drugs and their metabolites in a typical urban river in north China显示文摘This study investigated the presence of 11 abused drugs and their metabolites, including amphetamine, methamphetamine (METH), ketamine, ephedrine (EPH), cocaine, benzoylecgonine, methadone, morphine, heroin, codeine, and methcathinone in the surface water and sediment samples of Beiyunhe River, a typical urban river flowing through Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei provinces in North China. An analytical method of determining these abused drugs and their metabolites in water and sediment was developed and validated prior to sample collection in the study area. Results showed that METH and EPH were predominant in water and sediment samples. The total drug concentrations ranged from 26.6 to 183.0 ng/L in water and from 2.6 to 32.4 ng/g dry weight in sediment, and the drugs mainly originated from hospitals and sewage treatment plants. The average field-based sediment water distribution coefficients of abused drugs were calculated between 149.3 and 1214.0 L/kg and corrected by organic carbon. Quotient method was used to assess the risks. 15The Temporal Relation between Cardiomyopathy and LBBB and Response to Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy:Case Series and Literature Review显示文摘Background:Left bundle branch block(LBBB)-induced cardiomyopathy has been proposed,but the association between LBBB and cardiac resynchronization therapy(CRT)response remains unclear and practical criteria for selecting CRT candidates are needed.Methods:One hundred and seventeen consecutive heart failure patients were reviewed,24 of whom received CRT.Only two patients had a clear temporal relation between cardiomyopathy and LBBB.Results:Compared with the patient with“cardiomyopathy-induced LBBB,”the patient with“LBBB-induced cardiomyopathy”had higher left ventricular(LV)wall thickness,higher LV wall thickening rate,higher peak circumferential strain,and longer peak circumferential strain delay.The LV deformation patterns in the two patients were obviously distinct on cardiovascular magnetic resonance tissue tracking.During follow-up,the patient with LBBB-induced cardiomyopathy had a good response to CRT(LV ejection fraction 23 before CRT vs.30%at 6 months vs.29 at 12 months vs.32%at 18 months;LV end-diastolic diameter 77 mm before CRT vs.66 mm at 6 months vs.62 mm at 12 months vs.63 mm at 18 months),and the other patient had no response to CRT(LV ejection fraction 29 before CRT vs.29%at 6 months vs.26 at 12 months vs.22%at 24 months;LV end-diastolic diameter 85 mm before CRT vs.88 mm at 6 months vs.85 mm at 12 months vs.84 mm at 24 months).Conclusion:The temporal relation between cardiomyopathy and LBBB could be a determinant for CRT response.Cardiovascular magnetic resonance tissue tracking may be a useful tool to identify the chronological order and a principal consideration for selecting candidates for CRT.Larger prospective clinical trials are needed to study the prevalence of,time course of,and risk factors for LBBB-induced cardiomyopathy.Sanshuai Chang Yi He Hui Wang Fei Guo Qiang Lv Junping Kang Rong Bai Xiaohui Liu Xin Du Changsheng Ma Jianzeng Dong 2020Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications2020,,1:1
