1Monocular depth estimation based on deep learning: An overview显示文摘Depth information is important for autonomous systems to perceive environments and estimate their own state. Traditional depth estimation methods, like structure from motion and stereo vision matching, are built on feature correspondences of multiple viewpoints. Meanwhile, the predicted depth maps are sparse. Inferring depth information from a single image(monocular depth estimation) is an ill-posed problem. With the rapid development of deep neural networks, monocular depth estimation based on deep learning has been widely studied recently and achieved promising performance in accuracy. Meanwhile, dense depth maps are estimated from single images by deep neural networks in an end-to-end manner. In order to improve the accuracy of depth estimation, different kinds of network frameworks, loss functions and training strategies are proposed subsequently. Therefore, we survey the current monocular depth estimation methods based on deep learning in this review. Initially, we conclude several widely used datasets and evaluation indicators in deep learning-based depth estimation. Furthermore, we review some representative existing methods according to different training manners: supervised, unsupervised and semi-supervised. 3Coordinated Transcriptional Regulation by the UVB Photoreceptor and Multiple Transcription Factors for Plant UV-B Responses显示文摘Non-damaging ultraviolet B(UV-B)light promotes photomorphogenic development and stress acclimation through UV-B-specific signal transduction in Arabidopsis.UV-B irradiation induces monomerization and nuclear translocation of the UV-B photoreceptor UV RESISTANCE LOCUS 8(UVR8).However,it is not clear how the nuclear localization of UVR8 leads to changes in global gene expression.Here,we reveal that nuclear UVR8 governs UV-B-responsive transcriptional networks in concert with several previously known transcription factors,including ELONGATED HYPOCOTYL 5(HY5)and PHYTOCHROME INTERACTING FACTOR 4(PIF4).Based on the transcriptomic analysis,we identify MYB13 as a novel positive regulator in UV-B-induced cotyledon expansion and stress acclimation.MYB13 is UV-B inducible and is predominantly expressed in the cotyledons.Our results demonstrate that MYB13 protein functions as a transcription factor to regulate the expression of genes involved in auxin response and flavonoid biosynthesis through direct binding with their promoters.In addition,photoactivated UVR8 interacts with MYB13 in a UV-B-dependent manner and differentially modulates the affinity of MYB13 with its targets.Taken together,our results elucidate the cooperative function of the UV-B photoreceptor UVR8 with various transcription factors in the nucleus to orchestrate the expression of specific sets of downstream genes and,ultimately,mediate plant responses to UV-B light.Chongzhen Qian Zhiren Chen Qing Liu Weiwei Mao Yanling Chen Wei Tian Yan Liu Jiupan Han Xinhao Ouyang Xi Huang 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,5:13

6Benthodytes occidentpalauta sp.nov.,a new species of deep-sea holothuroid(Elasipodida:Psychropotidae)from the west of Kyushu-Palau Ridge in the Western Pacific Ocean显示文摘Benthodytes occidentpalauta sp.nov.was collected from the Kyushu-Palau Ridge at a depth of 5481 m in 2021.This new species is characterized by a gelatinous body wall,violet skin,six pairs of dorsal papillae,and a rough mid-ventral surface without tube feet.The dorsal deposits are rod-shaped and tripartite.Two types of papillae deposits as crosses with four arms with central bipartite apophyses.Ventral deposits are rods.Tentacle ossicles are rod-shaped with end protrusions.Gonad deposits are rodshaped,tripartite,and cross-shaped.The phylogenetic analyses based on cytochrome oxidase subunit 1(COI)and 16S individually and a concatenated dataset of COI and 16S genes of this species support that B.occidentpalauta sp.nov.belongs to Benthodytes.Chongzhen YUAN Chunsheng WANG Dongsheng ZHANG 2024Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2024,42,1:0
7Vertical graphene nanosheetsmodiBed Al current collectors for high-performance sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Rechargeable sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage owing to their excellent high-power performance.However,Al-based current collectorsat both anodes and cathodes of SIBs,which widely influence the power properties of a variety of electrodes in SIBs,have rarely been investigated.Here,we demonstrate that vertical graphene nanosheets grown on commercial Al foil by the plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition(PECVD)method,form a robust connection with the carbon-based conductive network of the electrode,thereby significantly reducing the electrode current collector interfacial resistance.For sodium vanadium phosphate(NVP)anodes with vertical graphenenanosheetmodified Al foil(G-AI)current collectors,the interfacial resistance between the electrode and current collector is reduced 20-fold compared with that in the case of Al foil.The G-AI current collector reduces the polarization and improves the rate capability compared with that of Al current collectors within both cathodes and anodes of SIBs.At a high rate of 5 C,the capacity retention of NVP cathode with G-AI current collector is 74%,which is much higher than that with AI foil(22%).We believe that the obtained results support the prospect for the widespread use of G-AI current collectors in the further improvement of high-power profiles of SIBs.Kexin Wang Chongzhen Wang Hao Yang Xiongbiao Wang Feng Cao Qinci Wu Hailin Peng 2020Nano Research2020,13,7:0

9Chemical Synthesis of an Octasaccharide Derivative Related to Group B Streptococcus Cell-Wall Polysaccharide显示文摘Group B Streptococcus(GBS)is the major pathogen that causes invasive infectious diseases in neonates and infants.The develop-ment of preventive and therapeutic strategies against GBS infection has been becoming the most pressing subject worldwide.Group B carbohydrate(GBC),the group B-specific polysaccharide that distinguishes GBS with other streptococci species,has been identified as an attractive antigen for diagnosis and vaccine development because of its highly conservative tetra-antennary structure.In this paper,a highly convergent[3+5]glycosylation strategy for efficient synthesis of an octasaccharide derivative related to GBC oligo-saccharide unitⅡhas been developed.In this synthesis,each glycosylation reaction was efficiently constructed with glycosyl im-idates,especially trifluoroacetimidate,as donors,and each glycosidic bond was stereoselectively controlled via the neighboring group participation effect of acyl group on the 2-O-position of imidate donors or the solvent effect of Et_(2)O.Furthermore,the ami-noethylphosphate group was smoothly installed on the 6-O-position of D-glucitoll residue using the phosphoramidite method.After global deprotection,the target octasaccharide was successfully obtained from o-glucitol in 29 steps with an overall yield of 1.37%.The free amino group installed on the aminoethylphosphate spacer of the target molecule enables its modification with functional-ized biomolecules for further biological studies.Chongzhen Sun Zhaojun Liu Wuxian Zeng Xiaolin Ma Guirong Wang Guofeng Gu 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,2:0
