| 2 | Bi2WO6 doped with rare earth ions:Preparation,characterization and photocatalytic activity under simulated solar irradiation显示文摘Rare-earth modification Bi2WO6 composites(RE/Bi2WO6)were studied by experimental performance and theory computation based on the different 4 f orbits of selected rare earth elements(La,Ce,Gd,and Yb).The prepared RE/Bi2WO6 was characterized by XRD,SEM/TEM,XPS,UV-vis DRS,and N2 adsorption to learn their physical-chemical properties.Azo dye Rhodamine B(RhB)was photodegraded as a target pollutant to investigate the photocatalytic activity of prepared RE/Bi2WO6 composites.The results of experiment and computation show that four rare earth elements with different electron configurations retain the phase and morphology of Bi2 WO6 and enhance the removal efficiency of RhB under simulated solar irradiation.The optimum doping contents are 0.01%,0.05%,0.05%and 0.01%for La-,Ce-,Gd-,and Yb-doped Bi2WO6,respectively.However,light rare earth La and Ce doped composites indicate some difference in visible light adso rption capacity and mineralization on RhB co mpared with heavy rare earth Gd and Yb doped composites.Both La/Bi2WO6 and Ce/Bi2 WO6 possess larger pore size and higher mineralization ability than Gd/Bi2 WO6 and Yb/Bi2WO6 under the same experimental conditions while Gd/Bi2WO6 and Yb/Bi2WO6 show stronger red shift to the visible light due to the more 4 f electrons.The hole oxidation plays a major role in the photodegradation of RhB by all RE/Bi2WO6. | Chunying Wang Chuantao Gu Ting Zeng Qingqing Zhang Xianping Luo | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,1: | 6 |
| 3 | Electroacupuncture at Tianshu (ST 25) for diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome using positron emission tomography Changes in visceral sensation center显示文摘Previous studies have demonstrated that electroacupuncture therapy is effective in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome. However, the precise mechanism of this therapy is unknown. The present study served to investigate the effects of electroacupuncture therapy on treatment of patients with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). We compared brain activation maps based on the changes of cerebral glucose metabolism obtained by 18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography scanning under three conditions: resting, rectal balloon distension and rectal balloon distension plus electroacupuncture. Under the resting condition, compared with healthy controls, IBS patients displayed an increasing regional cerebral metabolic rate of glucose over a wide range: bilateral superior temporal gyrus, right middle occipital gyrus, superior frontal gyrus and bilateral middle frontal gyrus. However, there was no significant activity in the visceral pain center. Compared with the resting condition, under the rectal balloon distension condition, patients with IBS had a greater regional cerebral metabolic rate of glucose in the prefrontal cortex, left anterior cingulate cortex, postcentral gyrus, precentral gyrus and temporal gyrus. Under the rectal balloon distension plus electroacupuncture condition, stimulation by electroacupuncture at Tianshu (ST 25) manifested a decreased regional cerebral metabolic rate of glucose in the left cingulate gyrus, right insula, right caudate nucleus, fusiform gyrus and hippocampal gyrus. | 10 | In situ FTIR investigation on phase transformations in BN nanoparticles显示文摘Fourier transformation infrared spectrum (FTIR) was employed to investigate phase transformation of nanoparticle BN, containing eBN, rBN, wBN and cBN, in which eBN and rBN are the main components. We found that part of eBN was converted into rBN at 200―350℃. At and above 400℃, eBN transformed into wBN, and some of wBN were converted into cBN simultaneously. This conclusion is supported by the results from high- resolution transmission electron microscopic (HRTEM) and Raman spectroscopic measurements.
