1Porous NiCo_2O_4 nanowires supported on carbon cloth for flexible asymmetric supercapacitor with high energy density显示文摘Recently, binary metal oxides have been considerably researched for energy storage since it can provide higher electrical conductivity and electrochemical activity than single components. Besides, rational arrays structure design can effectively enhance the utilization of active material. In this article, we synthesis a porous NiCo_2O_4 nanowires arrays, which were intimate contact with flexible carbon cloth(CC)by a facile hydrothermal reaction and calcination treatment. The rational array structures of NiCo_2O_4 facilitate the diffusion of electrolyte and effectively increase the utilization of active material. The asobtained NiCo_2O_4@CC electrode exhibits a high capacitance of 1183 mF cm^(-2) and an outstanding capacitance retention of 90.4% after 3000 cycles. Furthermore, a flexible asymmetric supercapacitor(ASC)using NiCo_2O_4@CC as positive electrode and activated carbon cloth(ACC) as negative electrode was fabricated, which delivers a large capacitance of 750 mF cm^(-2)(12.5 F cm^(-3)), a high energy density of 0.24 mWh cm^(-2)(3.91 mWh cm^(-3)), as well as excellent cycle stability under different bending states.These remarkable results suggest that as-assembled NiCo_2O_4@CC//ACC ASC is a promising candidate in flexible energy storage applications.Huifang Zhang Dengji Xiao Qian Li Yuanyuan Ma Shuxia Yuan Lijing Xie Chengmeng Chen Chunxiang Lu 2018Journal of Energy Chemistry2018,27,1:6
2Study on soil solidification based on microbiological precipitation of CaCO_3显示文摘The soil solidifying technology started booming from the 1940s and formed an integrated cross-discipline.This paper aimed to study the effect and mechanism of soil solidification by microorganisms.Soil specimens treated by different methods were designed.Then the compressive strengths of these specimens on day 7 were tested and the situ bacteria culturing technique in soil was investigated.Finally the mechanism of soil solidification by microorganisms was explored according to the decomposition rate of substrate,pH value and the SEM and XRD analysis.Experimental results showed that the soil could be solidified by filling enhancement and precipitation of microorganisms.The compressive strength increased with bacteria A but decreased with substrate B,and soil specimen got a higher strength with bacteria situ cultured.The suitable pH value for bacteria A was 8–9,and the delay of lime addition could make substrate decomposition more completely,lower the influence by the existence of substrate,and improve the strength.In XRD and SEM images,precipitation of CaCO3 could be speculated.LU WangJie,QIAN ChunXiang & WANG RuiXing School of Materials Science & Engineering,Jiangsu Key Laboratory for Construction Materials,Southeast University,Nanjing 210089,China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,9:6

4The genome of Medicago polymorpha provides insights into its edibility and nutritional value as a vegetable and forage legume显示文摘Medicago polymorpha is a nutritious and palatable forage and vegetable plant that also fixes nitrogen.Here,we reveal the chromosome-scale genome sequence of M.polymorpha using an integrated approach including Illumina,PacBio and Hi-C technologies.We combined PacBio full-length RNA-seq,metabolomic analysis,structural anatomy analysis and related physiological indexes to elucidate the important agronomic traits of M.polymorpha for forage and vegetable usage.The assembled M.polymorpha genome consisted of 457.53Mb with a long scaffold N50 of 57.72Mb,and 92.92%(441.83Mb)of the assembly was assigned to seven pseudochromosomes.Comparative genomic analysis revealed that expansion and contraction of the photosynthesis and lignin biosynthetic gene families,respectively,led to enhancement of nutritious compounds and reduced lignin biosynthesis in M.polymorpha.In addition,we found that several positively selected nitrogen metabolism-related genes were responsible for crude protein biosynthesis.Notably,the metabolomic results revealed that a large number of flavonoids,vitamins,alkaloids,and terpenoids were enriched in M.polymorpha.These results imply that the decreased lignin content but relatively high nutrient content of M.polymorpha enhance its edibility and nutritional value as a forage and vegetable.Our genomic data provide a genetic basis that will accelerate functional genomic and breeding research on M.polymorpha as well as other Medicago and legume plants.Jiawen Cui Zhaogeng Lu Tianyi Wang Gang Chen Salma Mostafa Hailong Ren Sian Liu Chunxiang Fu Li Wang Yingfang Zhu Jinkai Lu Xiang Chen Zhenwu Wei Biao Jin 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:6
5Heat-induced Internal Strain Relaxation and its Effect on the Microstructure of Polyacrylonitrile-based Carbon Fiber显示文摘The transformation of the internal strain and its effect on the microstructure of polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fiber during the high-temperature graphitization were investigated.The internal compressive strain within the carbon turbostratic structure was confirmed through a careful analysis by wide-angle X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy.Heat-induced strain/stress relaxation along the fiber axis was observed and was found to have a profound effect on the structure of both the crystallites and microvoids.The results indicated that,the relaxation of residual strain changed the graphite layers from a wrinkled and distorted morphology to a straight and smooth one,and consequently led the crystallites to stack closely and orderly with increasing stack height.The strain relaxation also changed the morphology of crystallites and microvoids,resulting in an anisotropic growth for the latters.Denghua Li Chunxiang Lu Gangping Wu Yu Yang Zhihai Feng Xiutao Li Feng An Baoping Zhang 2014Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,10:5

9Aboveground biomass and its spatial distribution pattern of herbaceous marsh vegetation in China显示文摘Herbaceous marsh is the most widely distributed type of marsh wetland ecosystem,and has important ecological functions such as water conservation,climate regulation,carbon storage and fixation,and sheltering rare species.The carbon sequestration function of herbaceous marsh plays a key role in slowing climate warming and maintaining regional environmental stability.Vegetation biomass is an important index reflecting the carbon sequestration capacity of wetlands.Investigating the biomass of marsh vegetation can provide a scientific basis for estimating the carbon storage and carbon sequestration capacity of marshes.Based on field survey data of aboveground biomass of herbaceous marsh vegetation and the distribution data set of marsh in China,we analyzed the aboveground biomass and its spatial distribution pattern of herbaceous marsh on a national scale for the first time.The results showed that in China the total area of herbaceous marsh was 9.7×10^(4) km^(2),the average density of aboveground biomass of herbaceous marsh vegetation was 227.5±23.0 g C m-2(95%confidence interval,the same below),and the total aboveground biomass was 22.2±2.2 Tg C(1 Tg=1012 g).The aboveground biomass density of herbaceous marsh vegetation is generally low in Northeast China and the Tibetan Plateau,and high in central North China and coastal regions in China.In different marsh distribution regions of China,the average biomass density of herbaceous marsh vegetation from small to large was as follows:temperate humid and semi-humid marsh region(182.3±49.3 g C m^(-2))Xiangjin SHEN Ming JIANG Xianguo LU Xingtu LIU Bo LIU Jiaqi ZHANG Xianwei WANG Shouzheng TONG Guangchun LEI Shengzhong WANG Chuan TONG Hangqing FAN Kun TIAN Xiaolong WANG Yuanman HU Yonghong XIE Muyuan MA Shuwen ZHANG Chunxiang CAO Zhichen WANG 2021Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,7:4
10Phylogeny and divergence of Chinese Angiopteridaceae based on chloroplast DNA sequence data (rbcL and trnL-F)显示文摘Marattioid ferns are an ancient lineage of primitive vascular plants that first appeared in the middle Carboniferous. Extant members are almost exclusively restricted to tropical regions, and the spe- cies-rich family Angiopteridaceae are limited in their distribution to the eastern hemisphere; relation- ships within the group are currently vague. Here the phylogenetic relationship between Angiopteris Hoffm. and Archangiopteris Christ et Gies. was evaluated based on the sequence analysis of chloro- plast rbcL gene and trnL-F intergenic spacer with MEGA2 and MrBayes v3.0b4. On the basis of the phy- logenetic pattern and fossil record, we further estimated the divergence time for the two genera. The phy- logenetic trees revealed that all species of Angiopteris and Archangiopteris in this study formed a monophyletic group with strong statistical support, but the relationship between the two genera re- mained unresolved based on individual sequence analysis. On the other hand, the sequence analyses of combined data set revealed that Archangiopteris species diverged first, indicating that Archangiop- teris may not be a direct derivative as traditionally assumed. The clade of Angiopteris and Archan- giopteris appears to have diversified in the late Oligocene (≈26 Ma) based on the molecular estimate. Thus, the evolutionary history of extant Angiopteris and Archangiopteris has been characterized by ancient origin and recent diversification, and these groups are not relic and endangered lineages as traditionally considered.LI ChunXiang LU ShuGang 2007Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,1:4

17Visual analytics for the clustering capability of data显示文摘Clustering analysis is an unsupervised method to find hidden structures in datasets and has been widely used in various fields.However,it is always difficult for users to understand,evaluate,and explain the clustering results in the spaces with dimension greater than three.Although high-dimensional visualization of clustering technology can express clustering results well,it still has significant limitations.In this paper,a visualization cluster analysis method based on the minimum distance spectrum(MinDS) is proposed,aimed at reducing the problems of clustering multidimensional datasets.First,the concept of MinDS is defined based on the distance between high-dimensional data.MinDS can map any dataset from high-dimensional space to a lower dimension to determine whether the data set is separable.Next,a clustering method which can automatically determine the number of categories is designed based on MinDS.This method is not only able to cluster a dataset with clear boundaries,but can also cluster the dataset with fuzzy boundaries through the edge corrosion strategy based on the energy of each data point.In addition,strategies for removing noise and identifying outliers are designed to clean datasets according to the characteristics of MinDS.The experimental results presented validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed schemes and show that the proposed approach is simple,stable,and efficient,and can achieve multidimensional visualization cluster analysis of complex datasets.LU ZhiMao LIU Chen ZHANG Qi ZHANG ChunXiang FAN DongMei YANG Peng 2013Science China(Information Sciences)2013,56,5:1
