2Theory assisted design of N-doped tin oxides for enhanced electrochemical CO2 activation and reduction显示文摘Clearly understanding the structure-function relationship and rational design of efficient CO2 electrocatalysts are still the challenges.This article describes the molecular origin of high selectivity of formic acid on N-doped SnO2 nanoparticles,which obtained via thermal treatment of g-C3N4 and SnCl2·2H2O precursor.Combined with density functional theory(DFT)calculations,we discover that N-doping effectively introduces oxygen vacancies and increases the charge density of Sn sites,which plays a positive role in CO2 activation.In addition,N-doping further regulates the adsorption energy of^*OCHO,^*COOH,^*H and promotes HCOOH generation.Benefited from above modulation,the obtained N-doped SnO2 catalysts with oxygen vacancies(Ov-N-SnO2)exhibit faradaic efficiency of 93% for C1 formation,88% for HCOOH production and well-suppression of H2 evolution over a wide range of potentials.Congling Hu Lei Zhang Lulu Li Wenjin Zhu Wanyu Deng Hao Dong Zhi-Jian Zhao Jinlong Gong 2019Science China Chemistry2019,62,8:2

9A novel method for solving shortest tool length based on compressing 3D check surfaces relative to tool postures显示文摘Solving the shortest tool length quickly under a known tool trajectory in multi-axis machining of complex channel parts is an urgent problem in industrial production. To solve this problem, a novel and efficient method is proposed which is featured by extracting only a few necessary curves from the check surface instead of sampling the entire surface. By rotating and compressing the 3 D check surface relative to all tool postures, the boundaries of the area occupied by the 2 D compressed surfaces are the essential elements for determining the shortest tool length. A tracking-based numerical algorithm is introduced to efficiently solve the silhouette curves which are formed in compressing. To define the multi-taper shaped tool holding system(THS) which is commonly used in production, a characterization model for THS profile is established. A model for solving the shortest tool length is finally constructed based on the critical interference relationship between the THS profile and all compressed boundary curves. For acceleration, the boundary splines are segmented according to their knot vectors. Then a new concept called the axis-aligned tool length box(AATB) is introduced,which can provide a conservative range of tool length for a spline segment. By scanning the AATBs of all spline segments, the very few effective spline segments that may ultimately determine the shortest tool length are filtered out. This acceleration method makes the solution for the shortest tool length more focused and efficient. 10Pressure-stabilized hexagonal perovskite-related isolated tetrahedral anion silicate La_(6)Sr_(3)Si_(6)O_(24)显示文摘The discovery of new perovskite compounds under high pressure mainly focuses on the ABO_(3)compositions and the compositions highly deviated from ABO_(3)are less explored.Here we demonstrate that the La_(6)Sr_(3)Si_(6)O_(24)silicate composition can be stabilized as a hexagonal perovskite-related structure with isolated tetrahedra anions under high pressure of 6 GPa.The compound adopts 9-layer shifted hexagonal perovskite-like structure with both B-cation and oxygen deficiencies and contains pseudo-cubic(c)(La/Sr)O_(2)layers and hexagonal(h)(La/Sr)O_(3)layers stacked according to(c hh)_(3)sequence.This structure features both B-cation vacancy ordering between the two consecutive hexagonal layers and oxygen vacancy ordering in c-(La/Sr)O_(2)layers,resulting in isolated tetrahedral Si O_(4)anions and ionic conduction behavior.This work demonstrates the practicability of accessing new perovskite-related functional materials from the compositions highly deviated from ABO_(3)under high pressure.Jie Feng Lei Zhao Wenda Zhang Cheng Li Congling Yin Xiaojun Kuang 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5:0
11Effect of bicarbonate on CO_(2) electroreduction over cathode catalysts显示文摘CO_(2) electroreduction (CO_(2) ER) using renewable energy is ideal for mitigating the greenhouse effect and closing the carbon cycle. Bicarbonate (HCO_(3)−) is most commonly employed as the electrolyte anion because it is known to facilitate CO_(2) ER. However, its dynamics in the electric double layer remains obscure and requires more in-depth investigation. Herein, we investigate the refined reduction process of bicarbonate by employing in situ attenuated total reflectance surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy. By comparing the product distributions in Ar-saturated KCl and KHCO_(3) electrolytes, we confirmed CO production from HCO_(3)^(−) in the absence of an external CO_(2) source. Notably, in contrast to an electric compulsion, negatively charged HCO_(3)− anions were found to accumulate near the electrode surface. A reduction mechanism of HCO3− is proposed in that HCO3− is not adsorbed over a catalyst, but may be enriched near the electrode surface and converted to CO_(2) and react over Au and Cu electrodes. The dependence of the CO_(2) ER activity on the local HCO3− concentration was subsequently discovered, which was in turn dependent on the bulk HCO3− concentration and cathodic potential. In particular, the local HCO3− concentration was limited by the cathodic potential, leading to a plateau in the CO_(2) ER activity. 12Image segmentation based on differential immune clone clustering algorithm显示文摘Purpose–The purpose of this paper is to present a Differential Immune Clone Clustering Algorithm(DICCA)to solve image segmentation.Design/methodology/approach–DICCA combines immune clone selection and differential evolution,and two populations are used in the evolutionary process.Clone reproduction and selection,differential mutation,crossover and selection are adopted to evolve two populations,which can increase population diversity and avoid local optimum.After extracting the texture features of an image and encoding them with real numbers,DICCA is used to partition these features,and the final segmentation result is obtained.Findings–This approach is applied to segment all sorts of images into homogeneous regions,including artificial synthetic texture images,natural images and remote sensing images,and the experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.Originality/value–The method presented in this paper represents a new approach to solving clustering problems.The novel method applies the idea two populations are used in the evolutionary process.The proposed clustering algorithm is shown to be effective in solving image segmentation.Wenping Ma Feifei Ti Congling Li Licheng Jiao 2013International Journal of Intelligent Computing and Cybernetics2013,6,1:0
