1Cryospheric Science: research framework and disciplinary system显示文摘Cryospheric changes and their impacts have received increasing concern, extending the research to include the interactions between earth spheres and the impacts of and social adaptation to cryospheric changes. As a result, Cryospheric Science is rapidly developing. However, the research framework of Cryospheric Science has not completely been set up, and the intension and extension of Cryospheric Science are unclear.Following a literature review, the research framework for Cryospheric Science and the discipline components are analysed in this paper. We consider that Cryospheric Science is an inevitable product of international research on the earth and environmental changes as well as on human sustainable development. It will not only strengthen the linkage between the cryosphere and other earth spheres by deepening traditional research areas, but will also bring more focus on the critical roles of the cryosphere in interactions between earth spheres, and will enhance the relationship between cryospheric change and climate, ecology, hydrology, surface environment and sustainable development. The disciplinary tree of Cryospheric Science is developed following the mainstream of change-impacts adaptation. 2Formation and evolution of layered structure in dissimilar welded joints between ferritic-martensitic steel and 316L stainless steel with fillers显示文摘Dissimilar high-energy beam(HEB)welding is necessary in many industrial applications.Different composition of heat-affected zone(HAZ)and weld metal(WM)lead to variation in mechanical properties within the dissimilar joint,which determines the performance of the welded structure.In the present study,appropriate filler material was used during electron beam welding(EBW)to obtain a reliable dissimilar joint between reduced-activation ferritic-martensitic(RAFM)steel and 316L austenitic stainless steel.It was observed that the layered structure occurred in the weld metal with 310S filler(310S-WM),which had the inferior resistance to thermal disturbance,leading to severe hardening of 310S-WM after one-step tempering treatment.To further ameliorate the joint inhomogeneity,two-step heat treatment processes were imposed to the joints and optimized.δ-ferrite in the layered structure transformed intoγ-phase in the first-step normalizing and remained stable during cooling.In the second-step of tempering,tempered martensite was obtained in the HAZ of the RAFM steel,while the microstructure of 310S-WM was not affected.Thus,the optimized properties for HAZ and 310S-WM in dissimilar welded joint was both obtained by a two-step heat treatment.The creep failure position of two dissimilar joints both occurred in CLAM-BM.Guoliang Liu Shanwu Yang Jianwen Ding Wentuo Han Lujun Zhou Mengqi Zhang Shanshan Zhou RDKMisra Farong Wan Chengjia Shang 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,11:4
3Comparison Analysis on Feasible Solutions for LTE Based Next-Generation Railway Mobile Communication System显示文摘Wireless communication technologies play an essential role in supporting railway operation and control. The current Global System for Mobile Communications-Railway(GSM-R) system offers a rich set of voice services and data services related with train control, but it has very limited multimedia service bearer capability. With the development of commercial wireless industry, Long-Term Evolution(LTE) mobile broadband technology is becoming the prevalent technology in most of commercial mobile networks. LTE is also a promising technology of future railway mobile communication systems. The 3rd Generation Partner Project(3 GPP) and China Communications Standards Association(CCSA) have proposed two feasible LTE based broadband trunking communication solutions: the 3 GPP Mission Critical Push to Talk(MCPTT) solution and B-TrunC solution. In this paper, we first introduce the development of railway mobile communications and LTE technology. The user requirements of future railway mobile communication system(FRMCS) are then discussed. 4Characterization of Compactness of Rust Layers on Weathering Steels by an Adsorption/Dehydration Test of Ethanol显示文摘A new method for evaluating the compactness of rust layers on steels has been proposed in the present study. The method includes adsorption and dehydration process of anhydrous ethanol. The protective ability of rust layers can be qualitatively reflected by the adsorption/dehydration rates. The specific surface area and porosity of rust layers can be calculated by a quantitative model. The results from the present method are consistent with electrochemical tests, N2 adsorption and X-ray diffraction analysis. The method characterizes the compactness of rust layers rather than that of corrosion products removed from the metal surfaces, which is generally practiced in classic N2 adsorption method. Furthermore, the method can reflect the compactness of inner rust layers, to which N2 adsorption is unavailable. 6Acclimation of CH_(4)emissions from paddy soil to atmospheric CO_(2)enrichment in a growth chamber experiment显示文摘Elevated levels of atmospheric CO_(2)(eCO_(2))promote rice growth and increase methane(CH_(4))emissions from rice paddies,because increased input of plant photosynthate to soil stimulates methanogenic archae.However,temporal trends in the effects of eCO_(2)on rice growth and CH_(4)emissions are still unclear.To investigate changes in the effects of eCO_(2)over time,we conducted a two-season pot experiment in a walk-in growth chamber.Positive effects of eCO_(2)on rice leaf photosynthetic rate,biomass,and grain yield were similar between growing seasons.However,the effects of eCO_(2)on CH_(4) emissions decreased over time.Elevated CO_(2)increased CH_(4)emissions by 48%-101%in the first growing season,but only by 28%-30%in the second growing season.We also identified the microbial process underlying the acclimation of CH4 emissions to atmospheric CO_(2)enrichment:eCO_(2)stimulated the abundance of methanotrophs more strongly in soils that had been previously exposed to eCO_(2)than in soils that had not been.These results emphasize the need for long-term eCO_(2)experiments for accurate predictions of terrestrial feedbacks.Haoyu Qian Yaguo Jin Jin Chen Shan Huang Yunlong Liu Jun Zhang Aixing Deng Jianwen Zou Genxing Pan Yanfeng Ding Yu Jiang Kees Jan van Groenigen Weijian Zhang 2022The Crop Journal2022,10,1:1

10Construction of multiple shRNA vectors targeting PEDV and TGEV and production of transgenic SCNT porcine embryos in vitro显示文摘Porcine viral diarrhea is an acute and highly contagious enteric disease of pigs that causes huge economic losses worldwide. Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV) and transmissible gastroenteritis virus(TGEV) are the main pathogens responsible for piglet viral diarrhea. However, currently there is no speci?c drug available for the effective treatment of viral diarrhea.Therefore, it is necessary to seek an effective method to diminish PEDV and TGEV infection rates. RNA interference has been applied successfully to inhibit the virus replication. It provides a potential strategy for breeding resistant pigs. In this study, four promoters and four short hairpin RNA(shRNA) vectors with LoxP sites at each end of the selectable marker genes were constructed to target PEDV and TGEV. These vectors were then transfected into porcine fetal ?broblasts, G418 resistant transfectants were con?rmed by PCR and transgenic SCNT porcine blastocysts were obtained. 12Superconductivity in potassium and ammonia co-intercalated FeSe_(1-x)Te_x显示文摘The origin of the ~40 and ~30 K superconducting phases in the metal-intercalated FeSe superconductors is still unclear. We report the synthesis of K_(0.3)(NH_3)_y(FeSe_(1-x)Te_x)_2 and K_(0.6)(NH_3)_y(FeSe_(1-x)Te_x)_2 with x=0-0.6 by using the liquid ammonia method at room temperature. The superconducting transition temperature Tcof the former remains about 43 K for all the nominal Te content less than 0.3, while that of the latter is about 30 K and obviously decreases with Te doping. Superconductivity disappears for x ≥0.4 in both systems. Except for the different chemical pressure induced by substitution of Te for Se in both systems, we also observed distinct external pressure effect on superconductivity for both systems, with much more efficiency of suppressing Tcby external pressure in the former system. 13Supramolecular Vesicles Based on Gold Nanorods for Precise Control of Gene Therapy and Deferred Photothermal Therapy显示文摘In spite of being a promising therapeutic modality,gene therapy has limited clinical applications,mostly due to the lack of spatiotemporal resolution and inadequate efficacy.Herein,we present a facile strategy to remotely control intracellular gene expression by using gold nanorod-(Au NR)derived,host-guest interaction-mediated supramolecular vesicles as a gene carrier and photothermal transducer.Upon pulsed laser irradiation,mild photothermal conditions dissociate supramolecular vesicles to release gene and simultaneously activate heat shock protein-70 promoter(Hsp70)for spatiotemporally initiating gene expression inside cancer cells.Subsequently,upon introducing a polymeric guest species specifically into cancer cells,the dissociated Au NRs functionalized with macrocyclic host molecules could re-aggregate rapidly in cells to retard exocytosis of these NRs,thereby allowing deferred photothermal therapy to enhance the overall therapeutic outcome.Ludan Yue Kuikun Yang Jianwen Wei Mengze Xu Chen Sun Yuanfu Ding Zhen Yuan Shu Wang Ruibing Wang 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,5:0
