1Laboratory investigation on the properties of asphalt mixtures modified with double-adding admixtures and sensitivity analysis显示文摘In order to improve the high temperature stability and low temperature cracking resistance of asphalt mixtures,two varieties of admixtures(anti-rutting agent and lignin fiber) were selected and then combined.This is called double-mixture technology.A series of tests about pavement performance of base asphalt mixtures and asphalt mixtures with admixture of anti-rutting agent or lignin fiber were conducted.Meanwhile sensitivity analyses were used to study the influence of three factors(i.e.,asphalt grade,aggregate type and gradation) on the high and low temperature performance and water stability of said asphalt mixtures.Test results indicated that the dynamic stability,residual stability,TSR and low temperature failure strain of asphalt mixtures have increased significantly with the additions of 0.40% anti-rutting agent and 0.36% lignin fiber.These results show that the high and low temperature and water stabilities of asphalt mixtures improve obviously.This supports the beneficial comprehensive effect of the double admixture.The problem of improving the asphalt mixtures performance with a single admixture is solved,in addition to also improving other pavement performance.Based on the sensitivity analysis,the most influential factors of dynamic stability,low temperature failure strain and TSR are the gradation,followed by asphalt grade and aggregate type.Zhen Fu Yanni Dang Bo Guo Yue Huang 2016Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2016,3,5:17
2Effect of phosphorus and heat treatment on microstructure of Al-25%Si alloy显示文摘It is known that phosphorus can refine the primary silicon and heat treatment can spheroidize the eutectic silicon. This paper presents an optimal combination of heat treatment processes and P refinement on hypereutectic Al-Si alloy. The optimal P addition amount, and the solution and aging temperatures for Al-25%Si alloy were obtained through the orthogonal experiment, and their modification effects were discussed. The results show that P addition has the greatest modification effect, followed by aging temperature, and the modification effect of solution temperature is the least. The optimized modification parameters are: addition of 0.6% P, solution at 540 oC and aging at 160 oC. 3High-quality Arabidopsis thaliana Genome Assembly with Nanopore and HiFi Long Reads显示文摘Arabidopsis thaliana is an important and long-established model species for plant molecular biology,genetics,epigenetics,and genomics.However,the latest version of reference genome still contains a significant number of missing segments.Here,we reported a high-quality and almost complete Col-0 genome assembly with two gaps(named Col-XJTU)by combining the Oxford Nanopore Technologies ultra-long reads,Pacific Biosciences high-fidelity long reads,and Hi-C data.The total genome assembly size is 133,725,193 bp,introducing 14.6 Mb of novel sequences compared to the TAIR10.1 reference genome.All five chromosomes of the Col-XJTU assembly are highly accurate with consensus quality(QV)scores>60(ranging from 62 to 68),which are higher than those of the TAIR10.1 reference(ranging from 45 to 52).We completely resolved chromosome(Chr)3 and Chr5 in a telomere-to-telomere manner.Chr4 was completely resolved except the nucleolar organizing regions,which comprise long repetitive DNA fragments.The Chrl centromere(CEN1),reportedly around 9 Mb in length,is particularly challenging to assemble due to the presence of tens of thousands of CEN180 satellite repeats.Using the cutting-edge sequencing data and novel computational approaches,we assembled a 3.8-Mb-long CEN1 and a 3.5-Mb-long CEN2.We also investigated the structure and epigenetics of centromeres.Four clusters of CEN180 monomers were detected,and the centromere-specific histone H3-like protein(CENH3)exhibited a strong preference for CEN180 Cluster 3.Moreover,we observed hypomethylation patterns in CENH3-enriched regions.We believe that this high-quality genome assembly,Col-XJTU,would serve as a valuable reference to better understand the global pattern of centromeric polymorphisms,as well as the genetic and epigenetic features in plants.Bo Wang Xiaofei Yang Yanyan Jia Yu Xu Peng Jia Ningxin Dang Songbo Wang Tun Xu Xixi Zhao Shenghan Gao Quanbin Dong Kai Ye 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,1:6
4High-performance asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on Sb/WSe2 heterostructure显示文摘Two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdWs) metal-semiconductor heterostructures with atomically sharp interface and matched work functions have recently attracted great attention due to their unique electronic and optoelectronic properties. Here we report the vapor phase epitaxial growth of large-scale vertical Sb/WSe2 metal-semiconductor vdWs heterostructures with uniform stacking orientation. Compared with the growth on S1O2/S1 substrate, the thick ness of Sb nan osheet on WSe2 can be reduced effectively to mono layer. We con struct Sb-WSe2-Au asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on the Sb/WSe2 heterostructures. Electrical transport measurements indicate that the photodiode show obvious rectifying effect. Optoelectronic characterizations show prominent photoresponse with a high photoresposivity of 364 mA/W, a fast response time of less than 8 ms, a large open-circuit voltage of 0.27 V and a maximum electrical power output of 0.11 nW. 5van der Waals epitaxial growth of ultrathin metallic NiSe nanosheets on WSe2 as high performance contacts for WSe2 transistors显示文摘A prerequisite for widespread applications of atomically thin transition metal dichalcogenides in future electronics is to achieve reliable electrical contacts,which is of considerable challenge due to the difficulties in selectively doping and inevitable physical damages of these atomically thin materials during typical metal integration process.Here,we report the in situ growth of ultrathin metallic NiSe single crystals on WSe2 in which the metallic NiSe nanosheets function as the contact electrodes to WSe2,creating an interface that is essentially free from chemical disorder.The NiSe/WSe2 heterostructures also exhibit well-aligned lattice orientation between the two layers,forming a periodic Moire pattern.Electrical transport studies demonstrate that the NiSe nanosheets exhibit an excellent metallic feature,as evidenced by the extra-high electrical conductivity of up to 1.6×10^6 S-nf1.The WSe2 transistors with the NiSe contact show field-effect mobilities (/vFe) more than double that with Cr/Au electrodes.This study demonstrates an effective pathway to achieve reliable electrical contacts to the atomically thin 2D materials,and maybe readily extended for fabricating 2D/2D low-resistance contacts for a variety of transition metal dichalcogenides.Bei Zhao Weiqi Dang Xiangdong Yang Jia Li Haihong Bao Kai Wang Jun Luo Zhengwei Zhang Bo Li Haipeng Xie Yuan Liu Xidong Duan 2019Nano Research2019,12,7:4
6The alignment of AlN platelets in polymer matrix and its anisotropic thermal properties显示文摘The thermal conductivity of polymer composites can be enhanced by the vertical alignment of anisotropic aluminum nitride(AlN)platelet fillers in polymer matrices.The AlN platelets in polymer matrix were aligned in the direction of in-plane and out-of-plane by using the doctor blading and the lamination process.The alignment of AlN plates in the out-of-plane or the in-plane direction has been confirmed by XRD and FE-SEM investigations.The polymer composite with the out-of-plane aligned AlN platelets showed almost 1.5 times or 2 times higher thermal conductivity than those with the AlN spheres or the in-plane aligned AlN platelets at the same filler content,respectively.This result could be attributed to the improvement of thermal pathway generated along the plane of platelets and the decrease of interfaces between the filler and the polymer.Chang-Yeoul Kim Thi My Linh Dang Yaming Zhang Jian-Feng Yang Bo Wang 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,4:4
7Shikonin attenuates hyperhomocysteinemia-induced CD4E^+T cell inflammatory activation and atherosclerosis in ApoE^−/− mice by metabolic suppression显示文摘T cell metabolic activation plays a crucial role in inflammation of atherosclerosis.Shikonin(SKN),a natural naphthoquinone with anti-inflammatory activity,has shown to exert cardioprotective effects,but the effect of SKN on atherosclerosis is unclear.In addition,SKN was found to inhibit glycolysis via targeting pyruvate kinase muscle isozyme 2(PKM2).In the present study,we investigated the effects of SKN on hyperhomocysteinemia(HHcy)-accelerated atherosclerosis and T cell inflammatory activation in ApoE^−/− mice and the metabolic mechanisms in this process.Drinking water supplemented with Hcy(1.8 g/L)was administered to ApoE^−/− mice for 2 weeks and the mice were injected with SKN(1.2 mg/kg,i.p.)or vehicle every 3 days.We showed that SKN treatment markedly attenuated HHcy-accelerated atherosclerosis in ApoE^−/− mice and significantly decreased inflammatory activated CD4^+T cells and proinflammatory macrophages in plaques.In splenic CD4^+T cells isolated from HHcy-ApoE^−/− mice,SKN treatment significantly inhibited HHcy-stimulated PKM2 activity,interferon-γsecretion and the capacity of these T cells to promote macrophage proinflammatory polarization.SKN treatment significantly inhibited HHcy-stimulated CD4^+T cell glycolysis and oxidative phosphorylation.Metabolic profiling analysis of CD4^+T cells revealed that Hcy administration significantly increased various glucose metabolites as well as lipids and acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1,which were reversed by SKN treatment.In conclusion,our results suggest that SKN is effective to ameliorate atherosclerosis in HHcy-ApoE^−/− mice and this is at least partly associated with the inhibition of SKN on CD4^+T cell inflammatory activation via PKM2-dependent metabolic suppression.Si-lin Lü Guo-hui Dang Jia-cheng Deng Hui-ying Liu Bo Liu Juan Yang Xiao-long Ma Yu-tong Miao Chang-tao Jiang Qing-bo Xu Xian Wang Juan Feng 2020Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2020,41,1:4
8Prognostic significance of regional lymphadenectomy in T1b gallbladder cancer:Results from 24 hospitals in China显示文摘BACKGROUND Whether regional lymphadenectomy(RL)should be routinely performed in patients with T1b gallbladder cancer(GBC)remains a subject of debate.AIM To investigate whether RL can improve the prognosis of patients with T1b GBC.METHODS We studied a multicenter cohort of patients with T1b GBC who underwent surgery between 2008 and 2016 at 24 hospitals in 13 provinces in China.The logrank test and Cox proportional hazards model were used to compare the overall survival(OS)of patients who underwent cholecystectomy(Ch)+RL and those who underwent Ch only.To investigate whether combined hepatectomy(Hep)improved OS in T1b patients,we studied patients who underwent Ch+RL to compare the OS of patients who underwent combined Hep and patients who did not.RESULTS Of the 121 patients(aged 61.9±10.1 years),77(63.6%)underwent Ch+RL,and 44(36.4%)underwent Ch only.Seven(9.1%)patients in the Ch+RL group had lymph node metastasis.The 5-year OS rate was significantly higher in the Ch+RL group than in the Ch group(76.3%vs 56.8%,P=0.036).Multivariate analysis showed that Ch+RL was significantly associated with improved OS(hazard ratio:0.51;95%confidence interval:0.26-0.99).Among the 77 patients who underwent Ch+RL,no survival improvement was found in patients who underwent combined Hep(5-year OS rate:79.5%for combined Hep and 76.1%for no Hep;P=0.50).CONCLUSION T1b GBC patients who underwent Ch+RL had a better prognosis than those who underwent Ch.Hep+Ch showed no improvement in prognosis in T1b GBC patients.Although recommended by both the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and Chinese Medical Association guidelines,RL was only performed in 63.6%of T1b GBC patients.Routine Ch+RL should be advised in T1b GBC.Tai Ren Yong-Sheng Li Xue-Yi Dang Yang Li Zi-Yu Shao Run-Fa Bao Yi-Jun Shu Xu-An Wang Wen-Guang Wu Xiang-Song Wu Mao-Lan Li Hong Cao Kun-Hua Wang Hong-Yu Cai Chong Jin Hui-Han Jin Bo Yang Xiao-Qing Jiang Jian-Feng Gu Yun-Fu Cui Zai-Yang Zhang Chun-Fu Zhu Bei Sun Chao-Liu Dai Lin-Hui Zheng Jing-Yu Cao Zhe-Wei Fei Chang-Jun Liu Bing Li Jun Liu Ye-Ben Qian Yi Wang Ya-Wei Hua Xi Zhang Chang Liu Wan-Yee Lau Ying-Bin Liu 2021World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery2021,13,2:3
9Hypothermic machine perfusion with metformin-University of Wisconsin solution for ex vivo preservation of standard and marginal liver grafts in a rat model显示文摘AIM To compare the effect of University of Wisconsin(UW) solution with or without metformin, an AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK) activator, for preserving standard and marginal liver grafts of young and aged rats ex vivo by hypothermic machine perfusion(HMP).METHODS Eighteen young(4 mo old) and 18 aged(17 mo old)healthy male SD rats were selected and randomly divided into three groups: control group, UW solution perfusion group(UWP), and UW solution with metformin perfusion group(MUWP). Aspartate aminotransferase(AST), alanine aminotransferase(ALT), lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), interleukin-18(IL-18), and tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) in the perfused liquid were tested. The expression levels of AMPK and endothelial nitric oxide synthase(e NOS) in liver sinusoidal endothelial cells were also examined.Additionally, microscopic evaluation of the harvested perfused liver tissue samples was done. RESULTS AST, ALT, LDH, IL-18 and TNF-α levels in the young and aged liver-perfused liquid were, respectively,significantly lower in the MUWP group than in the UWP group(P < 0.05), but no significant differences were found between the young and aged MUWP groups.Metformin increased the expression of AMPK and e NOS protein levels, and promoted the extracellular release of nitric oxide through activation of the AMPK-e NOS mediated pathway. 12Direct van der Waals epitaxial growth of 1D/2D Sb2Se3/WS2 mixed-dimensional p-n heterojunctions显示文摘The mixed-dimensional integration of two-dimensional (2D) materials with non-2D materials can give rise to prominent advances in performance or function.To date,the mixed-dimensional one-dimensional (1D)/2D heterostructures have been fabricated using various physical assembly approaches.However,direct epitaxial growth method which has notable advantages in preparing large-scale products and obtaining perfect interfaces is rarely investigated.Herein,we demonstrate for the first time the direct synthesis of the 1D/2D mixed-dimensional heterostructures by sequential vapor-phase growth of Sb2Se3 nanowires on WS2 monolayers.X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern and Raman spectrum confirm the composition of the Sb2Se3/NS2 heterostructures.Transmission electron microscope (TEM) measurement demonstrates high quality of the heterostructures.Electrical transport characterization reveals that Sb2Se3 nanowire exhibits p-type characteristic and that WS2 monolayer exhibits n-type behavior,and that the p-n diode from 1D/2D mixed-dimensional Sb2Se3/WS2 heterostructure possesses obvious current rectification behavior.Optoelectronic measurements of the heterostructures show apparent photovoltaic response with an open-circuit voltage of 0.19 V,photoresponsivity of 1.51 A/W (Vds =5 V) and fast response time of less than 8 ms.The van der Waals epitaxial growth mode of Sb2Se3 nanowires on WS2 monolayers is verified by stripping the Sb2Se3 nanowire from the heterostructures using tape.Together,the direct van der Waals epitaxy opens a facile pathway to 1D/2D mixed-dimensional heterostructures for functional electronic and optoelectronic devices.Guangzhuang Sun Bo Li Jia Li Zhengwei Zhang Huifang Ma Peng Chen Bei Zhao Ruixia Wu Weiqi Dang Xiangdong Yang Xuwan Tang Chen Dai Ziwei Huang Yuan Liu Xidong Duan Xiangfeng Duan 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:2

18Responses of Soil Bacterial Diversity to Fertilization are Driven by Local Environmental Context Across China显示文摘Soil microbial diversity is extremely vulnerable to fertilization,which is one of the main anthropogenic activities associated with global changes.Yet we know little about how and why soil microbial diversity responds to fertilization across contrasting local ecological contexts.This knowledge is fundamental for predicting changes in soil microbial diversity in response to ongoing global changes.We analyzed soils from ten 20-year field fertilization(organic and/or inorganic)experiments across China and found that the national-scale responses of soil bacterial diversity to fertilization are dependent on ecological context.In acidic soils from regions with high precipitation and soil fertility,inorganic fertilization can result in further acidification,resulting in negative impacts on soil bacterial diversity.In comparison,organic fer-tilization causes a smaller disturbance to soil bacterial diversity.Despite the overall role of environmental contexts in driving soil microbial diversity,a small group of bacterial taxa were found to respond to fer-tilization in a consistent way across contrasting regions throughout China.Taxa such as Nitrosospira and Nitrososphaera,which benefit from nitrogen fertilizer addition,as well as Chitinophagaceae,Bacilli,and phototrophic bacteria,which respond positively to organic fertilization,could be used as bioindicators for soil fertility in response to fertilization at the national scale.Overall,our work provides new insights into the importance of local environmental context in determining the responses of soil microbial diver-sity to fertilization,and identifies regions with acidic soils wherein soil microbial diversity is more vul-nerable to fertilization at the national scale.Youzhi Feng Manuel Delgado-Baquerizo Yongguan Zhu Xiaozeng Han Xiaori Han Xiuli Xin Wei Li Zhibing Guo Tinghui Dang Chenhua Li Bo Zhu Zejiang Cai Daming Li Jiabao Zhang 2022Engineering2022,8,5:1
