1Aspects of microstructure in low carbon steels produced by the CSP process显示文摘The solidification structure, microstructure evolution during rolling and precipitates with nanometers in dimension of thelow carbon steels produced by CSP process with thin slabs have been studied in recent years. Important differences in microstructureand mechanical properties between the CSP products and the conventional one were observed. These differences may arise from themuch rapider solidification rate and cooling rate after casting of the thin slabs. 3Speciation of iron in atmospheric particulate matter by EXAFS显示文摘The study on elemental speciation in atmospheric particulate matter (PM) is important for understanding the formation and origin of pollution and evaluating their toxicity. In this paper,the speci- ation of iron in atmospheric PM was investigated with extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectra based on synchrotron radiation. The chemi- cal components of PM can be calculated by regres- sion analysis of EXAFS spectra. This is a non-destructive method. In order to have knowledge of the influence of chemical components on EXAFS spectra,we prepared a series of mixed reference samples,and proved the precision of method is good. The PM samples with different particle sizes and from different sampling sites were collected in Shanghai,China. The chemical components of the samples were calculated by regression analysis of EXAFS spectra. The results show that the iron in all PM samples mainly consist of Fe2O3,Fe3O4 and Fe2(SO4)3,but their proportions are different in dif- ferent samples. The changes of components among PM samples were observed preliminarily. The con- centrations of iron in the samples were determined by proton-induced X-ray emission (PIXE) technique. 5Study on oil–source correlation by analyzing organic geochemistry characteristics: a case study of the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation in the south of Ordos Basin, China显示文摘In the south of the Ordos Basin, the oil source of the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation is confused all the time, which affects further exploration. In this study, oil sources from the oil layers of Ch6, Ch8 and Ch9 are all analyzed and confirmed. Through their carbon isotope value and biomarkers, characteristics of crude oils from the Yanchang Formation are analyzed. Then, the oil–source relation is discussed, with the source rocks' features.Finally, the oil–source relation is calculated through cluster analysis. It is believed that the oils from the Yanchang Formation deposit in a similar redox environment, with weak oxidation–weak reduction, and have all entered maturity stage. Ch9 crude oil is more mature than crude oils from Ch6 and Ch8, and has more advanced plants and fewer algae. Gas chromatography(GC) and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry(GC–MS) analysis show that crude oils from Ch6 and Ch8 may come from Ch7, and Ch9 crude oil may not. Cluster analysis displays that crude oils from Ch6 and Ch8 have closer squared Euclidean distance with Ch7 source rocks than Ch9 crude oil does,indicating crude oils from Ch6 and Ch8 stem from Ch7 source rocks. And Ch9 crude oil has rather close squared Euclidean distance with Ch9 source rocks, illustrating Ch9 crude oil may be from Ch9 source rocks. 6Upper ocean responses to category 5 typhoon Megi in the western north Pacific显示文摘Category 5 typhoon Megi was the most intense typhoon in 2010 of the world. It lingered in the South China Sea (SCS) for 5 d and caused a significant phytoplankton bloom detected by the satellite image. In this study, the authors investigated the ocean biological and physical responses to typhoon Megi by using chlorophyll-a (chl-a) concentration, sea surface temperature (SST), sea surface height anomaly (SSHA), sea surface wind measurements derived from different satellites and in situ data. The chl-a concentration (>3 mg/m 3 ) increased thirty times in the SCS after the typhoon passage in comparison with the mean level of October averaged from 2002 to 2009. With the relationship of wind stress curl and upwelling, the authors found that the speed of upwelling was over ten times during typhoon than pre-typhoon period. Moreover, the mixed layer deepened about 20 m. These reveal that the enhancement of chl-a concentration was triggered by strong vertical mixing and upwelling. Along the track of typhoon, the maximum sea surface cooling (6-8 C) took place in the SCS where the moving speed of typhoon was only 1.4-2.8 m/s and the mixed layer depth was about 20 m in pre-typhoon period. However, the SST drop at the east of the Philippines is only 1-2 C where the translation speed of typhoon was 5.5-6.9 m/s and the mixed layer depth was about 40 m in pre-typhoon period. So the extent of the SST drop was probably due to the moving speed of typhoon and the depth of the mixed layer. 7Dendrite growth and micromechanical properties of rapidly solidified ternary Ni-Fe-Ti alloy显示文摘The rapid solidification of undercooled liquid Ni_(45)Fe_(40)Ti_(15)alloy was realized by glass fluxing technique.The microstructure of this alloy consists of primaryγ-(Fe,Ni)phase and a small amount of interdendritic pseudobinary eutectic.The primaryγ-(Fe,Ni)phase transferred from coarse dendrite to fragmented dendrite and the lamellar eutectic became fractured with the increase of undercooling.The growth velocity ofγ-(Fe,Ni)dendrite increased following a power relation with the rise of undercooling.The addition of solute Ti suppressed the rapid growth ofγ-(Fe,Ni)dendrite,as compared with the calculation results of Fe-Ni alloy based on LKT model.The microhardness values of the alloy and the primaryγ-(Fe,Ni)phase increased by 1.5 times owing to the microstructural refinement caused by the rapid dendrite growth.The difference was enlarged as undercooling increases,resulting from the enhanced hardening effects on the alloy from the increased grain boundaries and the second phase.Ying Ruan Haizhe Zhu Qingqing Wang Fuping Dai Delu Geng Bingbo Wei 2017Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2017,27,5:2
8Reconstruction of incomplete satellite SST data sets based on EOF method显示文摘As for the satellite remote sensing data obtained by the visible and infrared bands inversion, the clouds coverage in the sky over the ocean often results in missing data of inversion products on a large scale, and thin clouds di?cult to be detected would cause the data of the inversion products to be abnormal. Alvera et al.(2005) proposed a method for the reconstruction of missing data based on an Empirical Orthogonal Functions (EOF) decomposition, but his method couldn’t process these images presenting extreme cloud coverage(more than 95%), and required a long time for recon- struction. Besides, the abnormal data in the images had a great effect on the reconstruction result. Therefore, this paper tries to improve the study result. It has reconstructed missing data sets by twice applying EOF decomposition method. Firstly, the abnormity time has been detected by an- alyzing the temporal modes of EOF decomposition, and the abnormal data have been eliminated. Secondly, the data sets, excluding the abnormal data, are analyzed by using EOF decomposition, and then the temporal modes undergo a filtering process so as to enhance the ability of reconstruct- ing the images which are of no or just a little data, by using EOF. At last, this method has been applied to a large data set, i.e. 43 Sea Surface Temperature (SST) satellite images of the Changjiang River (Yangtze River) estuary and its adjacent areas, and the total reconstruction root mean square error (RMSE) is 0.82°C. 9Synthesis of 3-D ordered macroporous silicate using the template formed from monodispersed polystyrene latex显示文摘Based on the template formed from monodispersed polystyrene (PS) latex, a modified fast sol-gel process was employed to synthesize a three-dimensional ( 3-D ) ordered macroporous silica material after removing the template by calcination at high temperature. It was indicated that there existed highly ordered packed pores within the whole silica material by SEM morphology observation. It was also found that the pores were interconnected. The pore size could be controlled mainly by varying the particle size of the latex ranging from 101 to 102 nm. 10Wind vector retrieval algorithm from spaceborne lidar data显示文摘The principal purpose of this paper is to extract entire sea surface wind's information from spaceborne lidaand particularly to utilize a appropriate algorithm for removing the interference information due to whitecaps and subsurface water. Wind speeds are obtained through empirical relationship with sea surface measquare slopes. Wind directions are derived from relationship between wind speeds and wind directions implied in CMOD5n geophysical models function(GMF). Whitecaps backscattering signals were distinguishewith the help of lidar depolarization ratio measurements and rectified by whitecaps coverage equationSubsurface water backscattering signals were corrected by means of inverse distance weighted(IDW) froneighborhood non-singular data with optimal subsurface water backscattering calibration parameters. Tverify the algorithm reliably, it selected NDBC's TAO buoy-laying area as survey region in camparison witbuoys' wind field data and METOP satellite ASCAT of 25 km single orbit wind field data after temporal-spatial matching. 11Study on ecosytem service function change of island based on remote sensing显示文摘Based on the interpretation of the remote sensing data presented by the resource satellite, this paper states the fact that the land-use area in Donghai Island, which is located in the south of Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province,had expanded by 576.71 hm2 in the 25 years from 1986 to 2010 because of human activities such as land reclamation; in the meantime, great changes in types of land cover on the island have occurred. The definite change in land use leads to the remarkable transition in its ecosystem service value. Therefore, by applying the Costanza method in this paper to quantificationally analyze the changes in its ecosystem services on this island;the Costanza method is a calculation technique that shows the service value per unit area of island. It is found that from 1986 to 2010, especially in the recent years, due to the rapid development in the petrifaction, steel and port industries, the areas of cultivated land, woodland, grassland and desert have decreased in different degrees, while the lands for residence, industry and traffic construction and the areas of water and wetlands have increased.Consequently, compared with the number of RMB 547.57×106 yuan per year in 1986, the ecosystem service value of Donghai Island was greatly reduced to RMB 493.94×106 yuan per year in 2010. As for the spatial distribution, it presents a feature that it is higher in the west and low in the east. 12Influence on lacustrine source rock by hydrothermal fluid: a case study of the Chang 7 oil shale, southern Ordos Basin显示文摘Hydrothermal fluid activity during sedimentation of the Triassic Yanchang Formation in the Ordos Basin and the impact of said activity on formation and preservation conditions of source rocks have received little attention. Oil yield, major element, trace element, rare earth element, and total sulfur(TS) data from the oil shale within the Yanchang are here presented and discussed in the context of hydrothermal influence. Oil shale samples returned relatively high total organic carbon(TOC), in the range of 4.69%–25.48%. A high correlation between TS and TOC suggests TS in the oil shale is dominated by organic sulfur and affected by organic matter. The low Al/Si ratio of oil shale samples implies quartz is a major mineralogical component. Si/(Si + Al + Fe) values suggest close proximity of the oil shale to a terrigenous source.d Eu; Fe versus Mn versus(Cu + Co + Ni) 9 10; and Si O2/(K2 O + Na2 O) versus Mn O/Ti O2, Fe/Ti, and(Fe + Mn)/Ti are evidence of hydrothermal fluid activity during oil shale sedimentation, and d U and U/Th of the oil shale indicate reducing conditions. The Sr/Ba of oil shale samples suggests fresh-water deposition. The high correlations of Fe/Ti and(Fe + Mn)/Ti with d U, U/Th, and TS demonstrate that hydrothermal fluid activity promotes reducing conditions. Sr/Ba ratios had low correlation with Fe/Ti and(Fe + Mn)/Ti, implying that hydrothermal fluid activity had little impact on paleosalinity. 14Parameter selection and model research on remote sensing evaluation for nearshore water quality显示文摘Using remote sensing technology for water quality evaluation is an inevitable trend in marine environmental monitoring. However, fewer categories of water quality parameters can be monitored by remote sensing technology than the 35 specified in GB3097-1997 Marine Water Quality Standard. Therefore, we considered which parameters must be selected by remote sensing and how to model for water quality evaluation using the finite parameters. In this paper, focused on Leizhou Peninsula nearshore waters, we found N, P, COD, PH and DO to be the dominant parameters of water quality by analyzing measured data. Then, mathematical statistics was used to determine that the relationship among the five parameters was COD>DO>P>N>p H. Finally, five-parameter, fourparameter and three-parameter water quality evaluation models were established and compared. The results showed that COD, DO, P and N were the necessary parameters for remote sensing evaluation of the Leizhou Peninsula nearshore water quality, and the optimal comprehensive water quality evaluation model was the fourparameter model. 15An oil slick spectral experiment of nearshore sea water in the East China Sea显示文摘Along with the rapid advance in global industrialization,oil spill events caused by offshore operations,transportation and accidents are increasing.Compared with ship surveys,monitoring oil spills through remote sensing has real-time,comprehensive,low-cost advantages,which can effectively guide cleaning and evaluation,and reduce the marine ecological destruction resulting from oil spills.Therefore,studying the remote sensing mechanism used to monitor marine oil spills is of great significance for ecological environmental protection.This paper describes an experiment and corresponding analysis based on the above-water method,using the East China Sea coastal turbid water.The analysis shows that'upward short-wave'in ultraviolet and blue-purple bands and its displacement,along with the changing thickness,are important characteristics for distinguishing between the oil slick and the sea water,and also to differentiate oil slicks of different thicknesses.From blue to near-infrared bands,the spectrum of lube oil is flatter than that of diesel,and the diesel spectrum rises faster than the lube spectrum on the right side of the trough at 400 nm.These two features form an important basis for differentiating diesel from lube oil.These analyses will further the development of oil spill remote sensing in the East China Sea.WANG Difeng PAN Delu GONG Fang WANG Tianyu ZHAN Yuanzeng 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,11:1

18Water quality,natural chemical weathering and ecological risk assessment of the contaminated area of vanadium ore in Yinhua River,China:Evidence from major ions and trace elements显示文摘There are abundant vanadium ores in the Cambrian strata in southern Shaanxi,China.Many years of mining activities and surface leaching have polluted the surface water to a certain extent,but the researches on the water quality characteristics and pollution degree are relatively weak.This contribution was organized to investigate the surface water quality by general parameters,including TDS,Eh,pH,DO,TOC,COD,and EC,in the vanadium ore belt(Yinhua River basin).Major ions were determined to detect the water type and natural chemical weathering,while trace elements were used to illustrate their geochemical characteristics and ecological risk assessment of heavy metals.The study found that the surface water was weakly alkaline and mainly dominated from normal to pool grade.The particle size with1000–10,000 nm of suspended particles was the main carrier of organic matter.The concentration of HCO_(3)^(-)and SO_(4)^(2-)in the anions and Ca^(2+)and Mg^(2+)ions in the cations were relatively high,and the water type was Ca-Mg-HCO_(3)-SO_(4) type.Rock weathering had a great influence on surface water,and the weathering products were mainly silicate and carbonate.Compared with the Type river,the contents of V elements showed an obvious positive anomaly,which may be affected by mining activities of vanadium ore and the annual leaching of the tailings pond.As and Cd in the surface water was polluted seriously.The integrated pollution index suggested that the surface water pollution was serious,and the main stream was more serious with the increasing tailings ponds.Delu Li Yong Xu Xiaotuan Zhang Zhidong Yang Shaofei Wang Qianyang He Zhe Jia 2022Acta Geochimica2022,41,1:0
19Efficient gene transfection of suspension cells by highly branched poly(β-amino ester)显示文摘Suspension cells play a crucial role in many biological processes. However, compared to adherent cells, it is particularly challenging to introduce exogenous genes into suspension cells to regulate their biological functions with non-viral gene vectors, mainly due to the low cellular uptake and endosomal escape of polyplexes. Herein, to improve the interactions of polyplexes with cellular membranes, we design and synthesize highly branched poly(β-amino ester)(HPAE) via an “A2 + B4 + C2” Michael addition strategy.Results show that branching significantly increases DNA condensation of HPAE, cellular uptake and endosomal escape of HPAE/DNA polyplexes. In mast cells(MCs), HPAE exhibits up to 80-fold higher gene transfection efficiency compared to the corresponding linear poly(β-amino ester)(LPAE) and the leading commercial gene transfection reagents PEI25k, jetPEI, and Lipofectamine 3000, without causing obvious cytotoxicity. 20Three-Dimensional Simulation of Hydrodynamic Mechanism of Fluidized Bed Methanation显示文摘Organic solid waste(OSW)contains many renewable materials.The pyrolysis and gasification of OSW can realize resource utilization,and its products can be used for methanation reaction to produce synthetic natural gas in the specific reactor.In order to understand the dynamic characteristics of the reactor,a three-dimensional numerical model has been established by the method of Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD).Along the height of the reactor,the particle distribution in the bed becomes thinner and the mean solid volume fraction decreases from 4.18%to 0.37%.Meanwhile,the pressure fluctuation range decreased from 398.76 Pa at the entrance to a much lower value of 74.47 Pa at the exit.In this simulation,three parameters of gas inlet velocity,operating temperature and solid particle diameter are changed to explore their influences on gas-solid multiphase flow.The results show that gas velocity has a great influence on particle distribution.When the gas inlet velocity decreases from 6.51 to 1.98 m/s,the minimum height that particles can reach decreases from 169 to 100 mm.Additionally,as the operating temperature increases,the particle holdup inside the reactor changes from 0.843%to 0.700%.This indicates that the particle residence time reduces,which is not conducive to the follow-up reaction.Moreover,with the increase of particle size,the fluctuation range of the pressure at the bottom of the reactor increases,and its standard deviation increases from 55.34 to 1266.37 Pa.Xiaojia Wang Danyang Shao Delu Chen Yutong Gong Fengxia An 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,7:0
