| 1 | Naringenin is a Potential Immunomodulator for Inhibiting Liver Fibrosis by Inhibiting the cGAS-STING Pathway显示文摘Background and Aims:Naringenin is an anti-inflammatory flavonoid that has been studied in chronic liver disease.The mechanism specific to its antifibrosis activity needs further investigation This study was to focused on the cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate synthase(cGAS)pathway in hepatic stellate cells and clarified the antifibrosis mechanism of naringenin.Methods:The relationship between the cGAS-stimulator of interferon genes(STING)pathway and liver fibrosis was analyzed using the Gene Expression Omnibus database.Histopathology,immunohistochemistry,fluorescence staining,Western blotting and polymerase chain reaction were performed to assess gene and protein expression levels associated with the cGAS pathway in clinical liver tissue samples and mouse livers.Molecular docking was performed to evaluate the relationship between naringenin and cGAS,and western blotting was performed to study the expression of inflammatory factors downstream of cGAS in vitro.Results:Clinical database analyses showed that the cGAS-STING pathway is involved in the occurrence of chronic liver disease.Naringenin ameliorated liver injury and liver fibrosis,decreased collagen deposition and cGAS expression,and inhibited inflammation in carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)-treated mice.Molecular docking found that cGAS may be a direct target of naringenin.Consistent with the in vivo results,we verified the inhibitory effect of naringenin on activated hepatic stellate cells(HSCs).By using the cGAS-specific agonist double-stranded(ds)DNA,we showed that naringenin attenuated the activation of cGAS and its inflammatory factors affected by dsDNA.We verified that naringenin inhibited the cGAS-STING pathway,thereby reducing the secretion of inflammatory factors by HSCs to ameliorate liver fibrosis.Conclusions:Interrupting the cGAS-STING pathway helped reverse the fibrosis process.Naringenin has potential as an antihepatic fibrosis drug. | Li Chen Siwei Xia Shuqi Wang Yuanyuan Zhou Feixia Wang Zhanghao Li Yang Li Desong Kong Zili Zhang Jiangjuan Shao Xuefen Xu Feng Zhang Shizhong Zheng | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,1: | 3 |
| 2 | A Robust Real-time Low-frequency Oscillation Detection and Analysis (LFODA) System with Innovative Ensemble Filtering显示文摘Low-frequency oscillations are hazardous to power system operation,and can lead to cascading failures if not detected and mitigated in a timely manner.This paper presents a robust and automated real-time monitoring system for detecting grid oscillations and analyzing their mode shapes using PMU measurements.A novel Extended Kalman Filtering(EKF)based approach is introduced to detect and analyze oscillations.To further improve the accuracy and efficiency of the presented software system,the EKF approach takes advantages of three effective signal processing methods(including Prony’s Method,Hankel Total Least Square(HTLS)Method,EKF)and adopts a novel voting schema to significantly reduce the computation cost.Results from these methods are processed through a timeseries filter to ensure the consistency of detected oscillations and reduce the number of false alarms.The Density-based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise(DBSCAN)method is used to accurately classify oscillation modes and the PMU measurement channels.The LFODA system has been functioning well in the State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Company with 176 PMUs and 1000+channels since February 2018,demonstrating outstanding performance in reducing false alarms with much less computational cost. | Desong Bian Zhe Yu Di Shi Senior Ruisheng Diao Zhiwei Wang | 2020 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,1: | 3 |
| 3 | Study on positive temperature coefficient of resistivity of co-doped BaTiO_3 with Curie temperature in room temperature region显示文摘As a temperature self-regulating heater material, the doped BaTiO_3 exhibits an attractive application perspective in the thermal management of electrical devices. However, the high Curie temperature does not meet the requirement in the thermal control application. In this work,(Ba_(0.997-x)Ce_(0.003)Sr_x)(TiNb_(0.002))O_3(x=0.2, 0.3, 0.35, abbreviated as BCSTNs) ceramics were prepared by the solid-state reaction method. The purpose of doping different content of strontium is to shift the Curie temperature of BaTiO_3-based ceramic to the ambient temperature region, maintaining excellent PT_C effect and low room-temperature resistivity by codoped cation ions in Ba-and Ti-site. The influences of sintering temperature and soak time on the microstructure as well as electrical properties of BCSTNs ceramics have been studied. The X-ray diffraction reveals that the composition with x=0.35 exhibits the coexistence of tetragonal and cubic lattice symmetries, confirmed by the Rietveld structure refinement. The dense microstructure with average grain sizes 0.84–7.87 μm was observed for BCSTN ceramics. Temperature-resistivity measurements demonstrate that T_C of the ceramics with x=0.35 shifted to the room temperature region.
