1Effects of Al_2O_3 Nano-additive on Performance of Micro-arc Oxidation Coatings Formed on AZ91D Mg Alloy显示文摘Ceramic coatings were prepared on AZ91 D Mg alloy by micro-arc oxidation(MAO) in aluminate electrolytes,with Al_2O_3 nano-additive suspending at different concentrations.Effects of nano-additive concentration on the structure,phase composition,hardness and anti-corrosion property of the MAO coatings were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,micro-hardness test and electrochemical method,respectively.The results revealed that Al_2O_3 nano-particles were mostly incorporated into ceramic coating chemically,transferred into MgAl_2O_4,rather than being trapped mechanically during MAO process.With the increase of Al_2O_3 concentration,the voltage-time response,content of MgAl_2O_4,hardness and anti-corrosion property increased.However,when the concentration varied from 10 g/L to 15 g/L,these behaviors and properties changed only a little.This result indicated that,after the concentration of Al_2O_3 nano-additive reaching 10 g/L,the incorporation of Al_2O_3 nano-particles turned into a saturation state,due to the complex process during MAO treatment.Therefore,10 g/L might be a proper concentration for MAO coating to incorporate Al_2O_3 nano-particles.Yan Wang Dongbo Wei Jie Yu Shichun Di 2014Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,10:18
2Monovalent cation perm-selective membranes(MCPMs)'New developments and perspectives显示文摘As one of the most typical and promising membrane processes, electrodialysis(ED) technique plays a more and more significant role in industrial separation. Especially, the separation of monovalent cations and multivalent cations is currently a hot topic, which is not only desirable for many industries but also challenging for academic explorations. The main aim of the present contribution is to view the advances of a wide variety of monovalent cation perm-selective membranes(MCPMs) and their preparation technologies including(1) covalent crosslinking,(2) surface modification,(3) polymer blending,(4) electrospinning,(5) nanofiltration alike membrane,and(6) organic–inorganic hybrid. The relevant advantages and disadvantages with respect to some specific cases have been discussed and compared in detail. 3Machining fixture for adaptive CNC machining process of near-net-shaped jet engine blade显示文摘Low stiffness and positioning problems are difficulties and challenges in the precise machining of near-net-shaped blades.This paper aims to achieve high accuracy in manufacturing by fixture-and deformation-control in the adaptive CNC machining process.Adaptive CNC machining technology is first analyzed,and new fixture-evaluation criteria and methods to evaluate the adaptive CNC machining process fixture design are built.Second,a machining fixture is designed and manufactured after analyzing its positioning scheme,clamping scheme,materials(PEEK-GF30),and structure characteristics.Finally,the designed fixture is analyzed by FEA and experimentally verified by a cutting experiment.The results show that the deformation of the blade is an overall rigid-body displacement,the main deformation of the blade-fixture system occurs on the four clamping heads,and this fixture can effectively protect the blade from local deformation.The proposed clamping-sequence method reliably and effectively controls the local maximum deformation of the blade.The system stiffness is increased by 20 Hz,with each clamping force increased by 200 N.Both high-and low-frequency displacement in roughing milling or finishing milling are acceptable relative to the accuracy demand of blade machining.This fixture and an adaptive CNC machining process can achieve high accuracy in blade manufacturing.Dongbo WU Hui WANG Jinsong PENG Kaiyao ZHANG Jie YU Xuesong ZHENG Yunhai CHEN 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,4:6
4Microstructure and Performance of 2Y-PSZ/TRIP Steel Composites显示文摘2Y-PSZ/TRIP steel composites have been sintered by hot-pressing method. Their microstructure and mechanical properties were investigated by means of SEM, TEM, XRD and static tension, split Hopkinson pressure bar method.The results showed that the strength and elastic modulus of 2Y-PSZ/TRIP steel composites at room temperature decreased with the increase of 2Y-PSZ content. The main reason was that the combining strength was quite weak between the grains of ZrO2. Distortion induced martensite transformation and plasticity during the dynamic loading increased the strength and distortion capability of the composites. The transformation was carried out mainly through twins formation. The shape of martensite induced by distortion was lamellate with substructures of twins. The habit plane was near {259}γ with no mid-ridge and no explosion phenomena. The interface was straight between the austenite and martensite induced by distortion. The increase of 2Y-PSZ content, on the one hand, made the composite dynamic flow stress improved. Thereby, the fracture strength was improved. On the other hand, it depressed both the distortion capability and the martensite transformation induced by distortion. 5Passivity-based Active Stabilization for DC Microgrid Applications显示文摘In this paper,an improved active stabilization strategy of the interface converters in microgrid applications is proposed on the basis of the passivity-based stability criterion(PBSC).As a critical part of AC and DC hybrid microgrids,the DC microgrid is taken as an example.In particular,a stabilization method with a proportional-integral(PI)controller and firstorder high-pass filter(HPF)is proposed to meet the passivity requirements of the overall control diagram with respect to the output voltage.Meanwhile,an output current feedback control loop is introduced to ensure the output impedance passivity.Moreover,a small-signal model of the parallel interface converter system is established to comprehensively study the influence of control parameters on the passivity of the converters.Based on the active stabilization method proposed in this study,by manipulating the control diagram of each interface converter,the passivity and stability of the DC microgrids with variable configuration can be guaranteed.Therefore,a generic and simplified design approach is realized.A simulation model with three interface converters is implemented in MATLAB/Simulink,and the effectiveness of the proposed passivity-based active stabilization algorithm is verified by using this simulation model.Jiaqi Yu Jingrong Yu Yue Wang Yijia Cao Xiaonan Lu Dongbo Zhao 2018CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,1:2

9Vitamin B3 inhibits apoptosis and promotes autophagy of isletβcells under high glucose stress显示文摘Background:Hyperglycemia is a typical symptom of diabetes.High glucose induces apoptosis of isletβcells.While autophagy functions in cytoprotection and autophagic cell death.The interaction between autophagy and apoptosis is important in the modulation of the function of isletβcells.Vitamin B3 can induce autophagy and inhibit isletβapoptosis.Method:The mechanism of vitamin B3-mediated protective effect on the function of isletβcells was explored by the method of western blot,immunofluorescence and flow cytometry.Results:In the present study,high glucose stress increased the apoptosis rate,while vitamin B3 reduced the apoptosis rate.The effect of vitamin B3 on autophagy flux under normal and high glucose stress was also investigated.Vitamin B3 increased the number of autophagosomes and increased the light chain(LC)3-II/LC3-I ratio.In contrast,vitamin B3 decreased sequestosome 1(SQSTM1)/p62 protein expression and inhibited the phosphorylation of mammalian ribosomal protein S6 kinaseβ-1(p70S6K/S6K1),which was a substrate of mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)under normal and high glucose stress.To further verify the protective effect of vitamin B3 on apoptosis,we treated isletβcell RIN-m5F with autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine(3-MA).Vitamin B3 decreased the apoptosis rate under high glucose stress,while the inhibition of apoptosis by vitamin B3 was blocked after adding 3-MA.Conclusion:Our data suggested that vitamin B3 reduced the apoptosis rate ofβcells,possibly through inducing autophagy under high glucose stress.YU ZHANG XI’AN ZHOU CHUNYAN ZHANG DENGNI LAI DONGBO LIU YANYANG WU 2023BIOCELL2023,47,4:1

12Recurrent ascites due to spontaneous intraperitoneal bladder rupture after pelvic radiation therapy for cervical cancer显示文摘Radiation cystitis is one of the major complications following radiotherapy for cervical cancer. However, spontaneous intraperitoneal bladder rupture as a result of radiation cystitis following radiotherapy for cervical cancer is extremely rare. Case presentation: We report a 52-year-old patient who received radiation therapy for cervical cancer 15 years prior to presentation. Eight years prior to presentation, she developed recurrent abdominal distension, oliguria, and ascites. Following ascites drainage and supportive treatment, all symptoms were relieved. However, all symptoms subsequently recurred every few months. The patient underwent exploratory laparotomy twice. The first exploratory laparotomy in July 2015 found no specific abnormalities. The second exploratory laparotomy in November 2016 found an intraperitoneal bladder rupture, and the patient underwent surgical repair. The ascites subsequently resolved. Conclusion: The occurrence of spontaneous intraperitoneal bladder rupture after radiation therapy for cervical cancer is rare. 14Metabolic engineering of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens for efficient production ofα-glucosidase inhibitor1-deoxynojirimycin显示文摘Owing to the feature of strongα-glucosidase inhibitory activity,1-deoxynojirimycin(1-DNJ)has broad application prospects in areas of functional food,biomedicine,etc.,and this research wants to construct an efficient strain for 1-DNJ production,basing on Bacillus amyloliquefaciens HZ-12.Firstly,using the temperature-sensitive shuttle plasmid T2(2)-Ori,gene ptsG in phosphotransferase system(PTS)was weakened by homologous recombination,and non-PTS pathway was strengthened by deleting its repressor gene iolR,and 1-DNJ yield of resultant strain HZ-S2 was increased by 4.27-fold,reached 110.72 mg/L.Then,to increase precursor fructose-6-phosphate(F-6-P)supply,phosphofructokinase was weaken,fructose phosphatase GlpX and 6-phosphate glucose isomerase Pgi were strengthened by promoter replacement,moreover,regulator gene nanR was deleted,1-DNJ yield was further increased to 267.37 mg/L by 2.41-fold.Subsequently,promoter of 1-DNJ synthetase cluster was optimized,as well as 5′-UTRs of downstream genes in synthetase cluster,and 1-DNJ produced by the final strain reached 478.62 mg/L.Last but not the least,1-DNJ yield of 1632.50 mg/L was attained in 3 L fermenter,which was the highest yield of 1-DNJ reported to date.Taken together,our results demonstrated that metabolic engineering was an effective strategy for 1-DNJ synthesis,this research laid a foundation for industrialization of functional food and drugs based on 1-DNJ.Xujie Li Meng Zhang Yu Lu Ningyang Wu Jian’gang Chen Zhixia Ji Yangyang Zhan Xin Ma Junyong Chen Dongbo Cai Shouwen Chen 2023Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2023,8,3:0
15Phylogeny of SARS-CoV as inferred from complete genome comparison显示文摘SARS-CoV, as the pathogeny of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), is a mystery that the origin of the virus is still unknown even a few isolates of the virus were completely sequenced. To explore the genesis of SARS-CoV, the FDOD method previously developed by us was applied to comparing complete genomes from 12 SARS-CoV isolates to those from 12 previously identified coronaviruses and an unrooted phylogenetic tree was constructed. Our results show that all SARS-CoV isolates were clustered into a clique and previously identified coronaviruses formed the other clique. Meanwhile, the three groups of coronaviruses depart from each other clearly in our tree that is consistent with the results of prevenient papers. Differently, from the topology of the phylogenetic tree we found that SARS-CoV is more close to group 1 within genus coronavirus. 16Protein Structure Prediction:Challenges,Advances,and the Shift of Research Paradigms显示文摘Protein structure prediction is an interdisciplinary research topic that has attracted researchers from multiple fields,including biochemistry,medicine,physics,mathematics,and computer science.These researchers adopt various research paradigms to attack the same structure prediction problem:biochemists and physicists attempt to reveal the principles governing protein folding;mathematicians,especially statisticians,usually start from assuming a probability distribution of protein structures given a target sequence and then find the most likely structure,while computer scientists formulate protein structure prediction as an optimization problem-finding the structural conformation with the lowest energy or minimizing the difference between predicted structure and native structure.These research paradigms fall into the two statistical modeling cultures proposed by Leo Breiman,namely,data modeling and algorithmic modeling.Recently,we have also witnessed the great success of deep learning in protein structure prediction.In this review,we present a survey of the efforts for protein structure prediction.We compare the research paradigms adopted by researchers from different fields,with an emphasis on the shift of research paradigms in the era of deep learning.In short,the algorithmic modeling techniques,especially deep neural networks,have considerably improved the accuracy of protein structure prediction;however,theories interpreting the neural networks and knowledge on protein folding are still highly desired.Bin Huang Lupeng Kong Chao Wang Fusong Ju Qi Zhang Jianwei Zhu Tiansu Gong Haicang Zhang Chungong Yu Wei-Mou Zheng Dongbo Bu 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,5:0
