| 1 | New ommatids from the Late Jurassic of western Liaoning, China (Coleoptera: Archostemata)显示文摘A new genus Amblomma gen. nov. of fossil beetles is erected and can be assignedto the family Ommatidae because its two procoxal cavities are contiguous and the articulations of the abdominal ventrites are abutting. The new genus is similar to Zygadenia Handlirsch, 1906 (=Notocupes Ponomarenko, 1964), Tetraphalerus Waterhouse, 1901,Rhobdocupes Ponomarenko, 1966 and Sinocupes Lin, 1976, but can be distinguished from other genera according to the following characters: the second segment of antennae is shorterthan the third one in length; the posterior tarsi with the basal segment is obviously shorter than the three following taken together in length; the antennae reach the posterior ridge of prothroax in length, and the sides of the prothroax with serrulate margin. Four new species of the new genus are described and figured: Amblomma psilata gen. et sp. nov., Amblomma rudis gen. et sp. nov., Amblomma epicharis gen. et sp. nov., and Amblomma stabilis gen. etsp. nov. A key to species within this new genus is provided. | 2 | Application of Bronsted acid ionic liquids as green catalyst in the synthesis of 2-propanol with reactive distillation显示文摘Five Br?nsted acidic ionic liquids(ILs) were prepared and characterized by FT-IR,~1H NMR and ^(13)C NMR. Their catalytic activities for the synthesis of 2-propanol(IPOH) via transesterification of isopropyl acetate(IPAc) with methanol(Me OH) were investigated. Among all the tested ILs, [Ps-mim]HSO_4 performed best and was used as catalyst for further studies. The reaction kinetics were carried out to correlate the parameters in a homogeneous second order kinetic model. It has been found that there is close agreement between the calculated and experimental values. The high-pressure batch reactive distillation experimental apparatus was set up in order to enhance the conversion of IPAc. A high conversion of IPAc of 99.4% was obtained under the optimal reaction conditions. The catalyst [Ps-mim]HSO_4 can be recycled easily by a rotary evaporator and reused without any further treatment. | 13 | Variation Laws and Influencing Factors of pH in Fishery Waters in Quzhou City显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to strengthen the understanding of the variation laws of pH in fishery waters. [Methods]Based on the investigation data of pH, dissolved oxygen(Do), water temperature(T) and chlorophyll a(Chl. a) of the fishery waters in Quzhou City from 2017 to 2020, the seasonal variation characteristics and influencing factors of pH in the fishery waters were analyzed and discussed. [Results] The pH of the fishery waters in Quzhou City was in the range of 6.40-11.3, and was characterized by the highest seasonal variation in spring and the lowest in winter. The correlation analysis showed that water temperature and pH were significantly positively correlated in spring and summer(P<0.05), and the photosynthesis of phytoplankton was the main reason that affected the pH of water bodies in spring and summer. There was a negative correlation between water temperature and pH in winter, and the pH in the natural waters had a significant negative correlation with water temperature(P<0.05). The balance of carbonate system in the water bodies was the main reason that affected the pH of water in winter. The level of water eutrophication(Chl. a) affected the pH of fishery waters to a certain extent. When Chl. a<10 μg/L, there was a significant positive correlation between the pH of fishery waters and Chl. a(P<0.05). Various environmental factors had different effects on the pH of different types of fishery waters. The stepwise regression analysis showed that the pH of natural waters was mainly affected by Chl. a, and the pH of aquaculture waters was mainly affected by water temperature and dissolved oxygen. | 15 | Identification and Biological Characteristics of Edwardsiella tarda Isolated from Pelteobagrus fulvidraco显示文摘Over the past five years,an epidemic disease broke out in Pelteobagrus fulvidraco ponds of Zhejiang Province. The diseased fish mainly exhibits head splitting and surface bleeding; dissection results reveal hepatonephromegaly and abdominal bleeding. A bacterial strain HSY201301 was isolated from the liver tissue of P. fulvidraco with typical symptoms. Artificial infection experiment confirmed that the isolated strain had a strong virulence to healthy P. fulvidraco,leading to similar symptoms to naturally infected P. fulvidraco. The isolated strain was identified as an Edwardsiella tarda strain according to conventional morphological,physiological,biochemical characteristics and 16 S rRNA gene sequence. Results of drug susceptibility test indicated that the isolated strain was sensitive to ciprofloxacin,doxitard,penicillin,doxycycline,and rocephin. | 19 | Characterization of SARS-COV-2 main protease inhibitory peptides from Ulva prolifera proteins显示文摘The main protease(M^(pro))is essential for the replication of SARS-COV-2 and therefore represents a promising anti-viral target.In this study,we screened M^(pro)inhibitory peptides from Ulva prolifera protein on in-silico proteolysis.Cytotoxicity analysis using the online toxic prediction tool ToxinPred revealed that all the peptides were non-cytotoxic.The hexapeptide(SSGFID)exhibited high M^(pro)inhibitory activity in molecular docking and its IC_(50)value was 139.40±0.82μmol/L in vitro according to fluorescence resonance energy transfer assay(FRET).Quantitative real-time(qRT-)PCR results show that SSGFID could stimulate the expression of mitosis-related factors,including nuclear factor-κB,cyclin D1,and cyclin-dependent kinase 4,to promote the proliferation of mice splenocytes.Stability study revealed that SSGFID showed resistance against pepsin and trypsin but lost D(Asp)after pretreatment at121℃ for 15 min.Besides,SSGFID was mainly transported through the Caco-2 cell monolayer by the peptide transporter PepT1 and passive-mediated transport during the transport study.Unfortunately,the peptide was also degraded by Caco-2 intracellular enzymes,and the transfer rate of intact peptide was4.2%.Furthermore,Lineweaver–Burk plots demonstrated that SSGFID possessed a mixed inhibitory characteristic with M^(pro).Our study indicated the potential of Ulva prolifera as antiviral and immuneenhancing functional food ingredients and nutraceuticals. | Zhiyong LI Yehua WANG Caiwei FU Dongren ZHANG Tuanjie CHE Songdong SHEN | 2023 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,5: | 0 |
| 20 | Flow characteristics simulation of spiral coil reactor used in the thermochemical energy storage system显示文摘According to environmental and energy issues,renewable energy has been vigorously promoted.Now solar power is widely used in many areas but it is limited by the weather conditions and cannot work continuously.Heat storage is a considerable solution for this problem and thermochemical energy storage is the most promising way because of its great energy density and stability.However,this technology is not mature enough to be applied to the industry.The reactor is an important component in the thermochemical energy storage system where the charging and discharging process happens.In this paper,a spiral coil is proposed and used as a reactor in the thermochemical energy storage system.The advantages of the spiral coil include simple structure,small volume,and so on.To investigate the flow characteristics,the simulation was carried out based on energy-minimization multi-scale model(EMMS)and Eulerian two-phase model.CaCO_(3) particles were chosen as the reactants.Particle distribution was shown in the results.The gas initial velocity was set to 2 m·s^(-1),3 m·s^(-1),and 4 m·s^(-1).When the particles flowed in the coil,gravity,centrifugal force and drag force influenced their flow.With the Reynold numbers increasing,centrifugal and drag force got larger.Accumulation phenomenon existed in the coil and results showed with the gas velocity increasing,accumulation moved from the bottom to the outer wall of the coil.Besides,the accumulation phenomenon was stabilized whenφ>720°.Also due to the centrifugal force,a secondary flow formed,which means solid particles moved from the inside wall to the outside wall.This secondary flow could promote turbulence and mixing of particles and gas.In addition,when the particle volume fraction is reduced from 0.2 to 0.1,the accumulation at the bottom of the coil decreases,and the unevenness of the velocity distribution becomes larger. | Xiaoyi Chen Danyang Song Dong Zhang Xiaogang Jin Xiang Ling Dongren Liu | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,2: | 0 |
