2Direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer in the strong coupling regime显示文摘Achieving strong coupling between plasmonic oscillators can significantly modulate their intrinsic optical properties.Here,we report the direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer from an Au grating array to an MoS_(2) monolayer in the strong coupling regime between localized surface plasmons(LSPs)and surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs).By means of femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy,the measured hot electron transfer time is approximately 40 fs with a maximum external quantum yield of 1.65%.Our results suggest that strong coupling between LSPs and SPPs has synergetic effects on the generation of plasmonic hot carriers,where SPPs with a unique nonradiative feature can act as an‘energy recycle bin’to reuse the radiative energy of LSPs and contribute to hot carrier generation.Coherent energy exchange between plasmonic modes in the strong coupling regime can further enhance the vertical electric field and promote the transfer of hot electrons between the Au grating and the MoS_(2) monolayer.Our proposed plasmonic strong coupling configuration overcomes the challenge associated with utilizing hot carriers and is instructive in terms of improving the performance of plasmonic opto-electronic devices.Hangyong Shan Ying Yu Xingli Wang Yang Luo Shuai Zu Bowen Du Tianyang Han Bowen Li Yu Li Jiarui Wu Feng Lin Kebin Shi Beng Kang Tay Zheng Liu Xing Zhu Zheyu Fang 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:7

8Comparison of gene expression responses of zebrafish larvae to Vibrio parahaemolyticus infection by static immersion and caudal vein microinjection显示文摘infection model for studying inflammation and the innate immune response.We investigated the genes and signaling pathways activated by static immersion and caudal vein microinjection infection using transcriptome profiling and reverse-transcription quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)to compare the innate immune response in 3 days post-fertilization(dpf)zebrafish larvae infected by Vibrio parahaemolyticus Vp13 strain.The median lethal dose(LD50)values at 96 h following immersion and microinjection were 3.63×107 CFU/mL and 5.76×102 CFU/nL,respectively.An innate immune response was initiated after 2 h of incubation with the respective LD50 for each infection method.Six hundred and two genes in the immersion group and 359 genes in the microinjection group were activated and differentially expressed post-infection.Sixty-three Gene Ontology(GO)terms and four Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathways were significantly enriched in the immersion group,compared with only three GO terms and no KEGG pathways in the microinjection group.Two genes,tnfb and ccl20a.3,were significantly up-regulated in both groups.We speculated that immersion infection may affect initial dorsal determination,cytochromes,and fatty acid-binding proteins,as well as inflammation,while microinjection infection may mainly directly affect the immune response.Infection with doses>LD50(1.09×109 CFU/mL and 1.09×103 CFU/nL by immersion and microinjection,respectively)caused more significant up-regulation of il11a,tnfa,tnfb,il1b,ccl34a.4,ccl20a.3,irak3,cxcl18b,and ccl35.1,suggesting that in addition to the classical innate immunity genes tnfa,tnfb,il1b,and il6,the genes il11a,ccl34a.4,ccl20a.3,cxcl18b,and ccl35.1 were also important for defending against Vp13 infection.These findings highlight the genes involved in the responses of zebrafish to Vp13 infection via different routes and doses,and thus provide the basis for further analyses of immune response signaling pathways.Xinya Guo Ce Ji Xuan Du Jianfeng Ren Yao Zu Weiming Li Qinghua Zhang 2021Aquaculture and Fisheries2021,6,3:0

The rate regularities and kinetic types of forward and backward extraction were obtained respectively by determining the forward and backward extraction rate under various experimental conditions. The mass transfer mechanism was discussed. Both the forward and backward extraction of phenol might be controlled by diffusion processes, and the diffusion resistance for both forward and backward extraction mainly exists in aqueous phase. 10An Early Cretaceous gold mineralization event in the Triassic West Qinling orogen revealed from U-Pb titanite dating of the Ma'anqiao gold deposit显示文摘The West Qinling orogen in central China,formed from continental collision between the North China and Yangtze cratons in the Late Triassic,hosts numerous gold deposits with a total Au endowment of about 2000 t.Most deposits were emplaced at ca.250-195 Ma and are genetically associated with the Triassic orogenesis.Here in situ U-Pb titanite dating with laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry indicates the Ma’anqiao gold deposit in the northern portion of this orogen has a distinctive age and under a contrasting tectonic regime.This structurally controlled gold deposit is hosted in Late Ordovician to Early Silurian sub-greenschist facies metasedimentary rocks.The gold mineralization is hosted in quartz-pyritepyrrhotite veins and pyrite-pyrrhotite disseminations in hydrothermally altered rocks,which are crosscut by K-feldspar-calcitechlorite±pyrite veins.Titanite,present both in the disseminated sulfide ores and later veins,was used for in situ U-Pb dating.Titanite from three disseminated sulfide ore samples with Th and U averaging 27.46 and 39.31 ppm(1 ppm=1μg g^(-1)),respectively,yielded lower-intercept ages of 121.1±3.1 to 120.7±3.5 Ma(2σ)in the Tera-Wasserburg diagram.Titanite from three later vein samples with much lower Th and U concentrations averaging 2.74 and 16.21 ppm,respectively,yielded overlapping ages of 120.8±3.2 to 120.3±5.8 Ma(2σ).These new titanite U-Pb ages tightly constrain the formation of the Ma’anqiao gold deposit at ca.121-120 Ma and,when combined with independent geological data,indicate it is not related to the Triassic Qinling orogeny.Rather,its formation is attributed to lithospheric thinning and destruction of the North China craton during the Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous which has generated numerous gold deposits along the southern margin of this craton.This catastrophic event caused extensive magmatism in large areas of the North Qinling terrane and northern edge of the West Qinling orogen immediately to the south of the North China craton.The heat flux and elevated geothermal gradients associated with this magmatism could have induced prograde metamorphism of the Paleozoic sedimentary infrastructure in and beneath these areas with the derived fluids ascending along pre-existing crustal-scale regional structures to form the Ma’anqiao gold deposit.We suggest that areas in the North Qinling terrane that have been affected by the Late Mesozoic magmatism are potential targets for future exploration of the decratonization-related gold deposits.Additionally,this study highlights the use of titanite U-Pb dating as a robust geochronometer for metasedimentary rock-hosted gold deposits in Phanerozoic orogens,which has previously not been utilized.Chongguo HE Jianwei LI Daniel J.KONTAK Xiaoye JIN Yafei WU Hao HU Bo ZU Xueling YU Shaorui ZHAO Shiguang DU Yunlong ZHU Huan TAO 2023Science China Earth Sciences2023,66,2:0
11Study on the micro-region structure and properties of two dithienothiophene-dicarboxylic acids显示文摘Self-organized dithieno [3,2-b:2',3'-d] thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid (A) and dithieno [2,3-b:3',2'-d] thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid (B) films were prepared through solvent-induced order-disorder transition method.The arrangement of the two molecules on substrates were observed by atomic force microscopy (AFM),which demonstrated that A was arranged orderly in a certain angle on mica,while B was flat-flying on mica.The optical and conductance properties in micro region of these two compound films were characterized by UV-vis absorption spectroscopy,fluorescence spectroscopy and conductive atomic force microscopy (C-AFM).The results revealed that the fluorescence and absorption peaks of A had a large red shift in comparison with those of B.The conductance of the J-aggregates for A is three orders magnitude higher than that of B.It is concluded that the large conductance difference mainly comes from different aggregation structures and orientations of these two molecules on substrate.WANG DeKun JIANG XiaoHong ZHAO ChunMei WANG ZhiHua WANG Hua DU Zu Liang 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,6:0

13Degradation prediction of proton exchange membrane fuel cell stack using semi-empirical and data-driven methods显示文摘Degradation prediction of proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)stack is of great significance for improving the rest useful life.In this study,a PEMFC system including a stack of 300 cells and subsystems has been tested under semi-steady operations for about 931 h.Then,two different models are respectively established based on semi-empirical method and data-driven method to investigate the degradation of stack performance.It is found that the root mean square error(RMSE)of the semi-empirical model in predicting the stack voltage is around 1.0 V,while the predicted voltage has no local dynamic characteristics,which can only reflect the overall degradation trend of stack performance.The RMSE of short-term voltage degradation predicted by the DDM can be less than 1.0 V,and the predicted voltage has accurate local variation characteristics.However,for the long-term prediction,the error will accumulate with the iterations and the deviation of the predicted voltage begins to fluctuate gradually,and the RMSE for the long-term predictions can increase to 1.63 V.Based on the above characteristics of the two models,a hybrid prediction model is further developed.The prediction results of the semi-empirical model are used to modify the input of the data-driven model,which can effectively improve the oscillation of prediction results of the data-driven model during the long-term degradation.It is found that the hybrid model has good error distribution(RSEM=0.8144 V,R2=0.8258)and local performance dynamic characteristics which can be used to predict the process of long-term stack performance degradation.Yupeng Wang Kangcheng Wu Honghui Zhao Jincheng Li Xia Sheng Yan Yin Qing Du Bingfeng Zu Linghai Han Kui Jiao 2023Energy and AI2023,11,1:0
14Investigation of MXene nanosheets based radio-frequency electronics by skin depth effect显示文摘Various new conductive materials with exceptional properties are utilized for the preparation of electronic devices.Achieving ultra-high conductivity is crucial to attain excellent electrical performance.However,there is a lack of systematic research on the impact of conductor material thickness on device performance.Here,we investigate the effect of conductor thickness on power transmission and radiation in radio-frequency(RF)and microwave electronics based on MXene nanosheets material transmission lines and antennas.The MXene transmission line with thickness above the skin depth exhibits a good transmission coefficient of approximately-3 dB,and the realized gain of MXene antennas exceeds 2 dBi.Additionally,the signal transmission strength of MXene antenna with thickness above the skin depth is higher than 5-μm MXene antenna approximately 5.5 dB.Transmission lines and antennas made from MXene materials with thickness above the skin depth exhibit stable and reliable performance,which has significant implications for obtaining high-performance RF and microwave electronics based on new conductive materials.Rongguo Song Yunfa Si Wei Qian Haoran Zu Bilei Zhou Qinglei Du Daping He Yongliang Wang 2024Nano Research2024,17,4:0
15Large Rabi splitting obtained in Ag‐WS2 strong‐coupling heterostructure with optical microcavity at room temperature显示文摘Manipulation of light-matter interaction is critical in modern physics, especially in the strong coupling regime, where the generated half-light, half-matter bosonic quasiparticles as polaritons are important for fundamental quantum science and applications of optoelectronics and nonlinear optics. Two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) are ideal platforms to investigate the strong coupling because of their huge exciton binding energy and large absorption coefficients. Further studies on strong exciton-plasmon coupling by combining TMDs with metallic nanostructures have generated broad interests in recent years. However, because of the huge plasmon radiative damping, the observation of strong coupling is significantly limited at room temperature. Here, we demonstrate that a large Rabi splitting (~300 meV) can be achieved at ambient conditions in the strong coupling regime by embedding Ag-WS2 heterostructure in an optical microcavity. The generated quasiparticle with part-plasmon, part-exciton and part-light is analyzed with Hopfield coefficients that are calculated by using three-coupled oscillator model.
