| 2 | Clinical translation and challenges of biodegradable magnesium-based interference screws in ACL reconstruction显示文摘As one of the most promising fixators developed for anterior cruciate ligament(ACL)reconstruction,biodegradable magnesium(Mg)-based interference screws have gained increasing attention attributed to their appropriate modulus and favorable biological properties during degradation after surgical insertion.However,its fast degradation and insufficient mechanical strength have also been recognized as one of the major causes to limit their further application clinically.This review focused on the following four parts.Firstly,the advantages of Mg or its alloys over their counterparts as orthopaedic implants in the fixation of tendon grafts in ACL reconstruction were discussed.Subsequently,the underlying mechanisms behind the contributions of Mg ions to the tendon-bone healing were introduced.Thirdly,the technical challenges of Mg-based interference screws towards clinical trials were discussed,which was followed by the introduction of currently used modification methods for gaining improved corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.Finally,novel strategies including development of Mg/Titanium(Ti)hybrid fixators and Mg-based screws with innovative structure for achieving clinically customized therapies were proposed.Collectively,the advancements in the basic and translational research on the Mg-based interference screws may lay the foundation for exploring a new era in the treatment of the tendon-bone insertion(TBI)and related disorders. | Ying Luo Chao Zhang Jue Wang Fangfei Liu Kelvin Wingho Chau Ling Qin Jiali Wang | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,10: | 4 |
| 3 | High-temperature superconductivity in sulfur hydride evidenced by alternating-current magnetic susceptibility显示文摘The search for high-temperature superconductivity is one of the research frontiers in physics. In the sulfur hydride system, an extremely high T_c(~200 K) has been recently developed at pressure. However, the Meissner effect measurement above megabar pressures is still a great challenge. Here, we report the superconductivity identification of sulfur hydride at pressure, employing an in situ alternating-current magnetic susceptibility technique. We determine the superconducting phase diagram, finding that superconductivity suddenly appears at 117 GPa and Tcreaches 183 K at 149 GPa before decreasing monotonically with increasing pressure. By means of theoretical calculations, we elucidate the variation of T_c in the low-pressure region in terms of the changing stoichiometry of sulfur hydride and the further decrease in Tcowing to a drop in the electron–phonon interaction parameter λ. | 11 | Regional Tourism Resilience under Crisis Impacts:The Cases of Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta显示文摘Since the beginning of the 21st century,various crisis events have occurred frequently,inflicting substantial impacts on the tourism sector,which has garnered considerable scholarly and policy attention.Nevertheless,limited research has systematically explored tourism resilience at the urban scale,and there is a paucity of studies comparing regional differences in tourism resilience under distinct crisis scenarios and their underlying causes.Thus,this study focuses on the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta,employing Martin’s regional economic resilience measurement method.It assesses the tourism resilience of the two regions under the impact of the 2008 financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic,subsequently visualizing the data results using ArcGIS software.The study also endeavors to unveil potential causes for disparities in urban tourism resilience.The main conclusions are as follows:Firstly,regions with higher economic development exhibit relatively weaker tourism resilience during economic crises,yet demonstrate comparatively stronger resilience during public crises.Secondly,distinct differentiations exist both between and within the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta,primarily stemming from variations such as geographical positioning,tourism resource endowments,and industrial and economic structures,both regionally and within individual cities.Thirdly,the determination of regional tourism resilience is intricate and cannot be restricted to a single dimension;multidimensional indicators better encapsulate the essence of regional tourism resilience. | Yi Liu Liaofan Chen Fangfei Han Tong Zhang | 2023 | Journal of Geographical Research2023,6,4: | 0 |

| 15 | Detecting gravitational wave with an interferometric seismometer array on lunar nearside显示文摘Our Moon is by far the easiest natural, extraterrestrial celestial object for us to reach, and many space agencies, in particular the China National Space Administration, have publicized plans for manned missions there. Such high-profile projects must yield commensurate scientific outputs to justify their cost to the taxpayers. An important criterion for the selection of candidate experiments is the extent to which the Moon plays an integral and irreplaceable role, as opposed to offering only marginal advantages over Earth-orbit, space-based alternatives. In this study, we propose an experiment that excels in this regard, which considers the Moon as part of the experimental apparatus. Specifically, the Moon acts as a Weber bar-style resonant mass that responds to deci-Hertz gravitational waves(GWs). GW-excited lunar vibrations can be picked up by an array of(prefabricated on Earth and easy to transport to the Moon) small laser interferometric seismometers yielding GW detection. Such a setup would plug a gap in the GW frequency range already covered by the existing or underdevelopment detectors, and it can inform us on important astrophysics topics, such as the progenitors of Type Ia supernovae(SNe Ia) or intermediate mass black holes.
