| 1 | A rapid advice guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV) infected pneumonia(standard version)显示文摘In December 2019, a new type viral pneumonia cases occurred in Wuhan, Hubei Province;and then named '2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)' by the World Health Organization(WHO) on 12 January 2020. For it is a never been experienced respiratory disease before and with infection ability widely and quickly, it attracted the world’s attention but without treatment and control manual. For the request from frontline clinicians and public health professionals of 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia management, an evidence-based guideline urgently needs to be developed. Therefore, we drafted this guideline according to the rapid advice guidelines methodology and general rules of WHO guideline development;we also added the first-hand management data of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. This guideline includes the guideline methodology, epidemiological characteristics, disease screening and population prevention, diagnosis, treatment and control(including traditional Chinese Medicine), nosocomial infection prevention and control, and disease nursing of the 2019-nCoV. Moreover, we also provide a whole process of a successful treatment case of the severe 2019-nCoV infected pneumonia and experience and lessons of hospital rescue for 2019-nCoV infections. | 2 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. | 6 | Central Obesity and Metabolic Risk Factors in Middle-aged Chinese显示文摘Objective Central obesity is considered to be a central component of metabolic syndrome. Waist circumference(WC) has been widely used as a simple indicator of central obesity. This study is aimed to evaluate the sensitivity of WC cut-off values for predicting metabolic risk factors in middle-aged Chinese. Methods The study involved 923 subjects aged 40-65 years. The metabolic risk factors were defined according to the Chinese Joint Committee for Developing Chinese Guidelines on Prevention and Treatment of Dyslipidemia in Adults. WC cut-off 85-90 cm and ≥90 cm were used as cut-off values of central pre-obesity and central obesity in males, respectively, while WC 80-85 cm and ≥85 cm were used as cut-off values of central pre-obesity and central obesity in females. Results First, WC values corresponding to body mass index(BMI) 24 kg/m2 and visceral fat area(VFA) 80 cm2 were 88.55 cm and 88.51 cm in males, and 81.46 cm and 82.51 cm in females respectively. Second, receiver operating characteristic curves showed that the optimal WC cut-off of value was 88.75 cm in males, higher than that in females(81.75 cm). Third, the subjects with higher WC values were more likely to have accumulating metabolic risk factors. The prevalence of metabolic risk factors increased linearly and significantly in relation to WC levels. | 9 | Analysis of the cause of crack in cold rolling of QSn6.5-0.1 strip显示文摘In order to know the cause of cracks in cold rolling of QSn6.5 0.1 copper alloy strip, a lot of experiments and analysis were done. The microstructure changes of QSn6.5 0.1 were investigated by means of metallurgical microscope. The morphology of cracks and surface defects were examined using scanning electron microscope. Macroscopic residual stresses produced in every process during manufacturing in the QSn6.5 0.1 strip were measured by X ray diffraction method and hole drilling method. The results show that the cracks in the QSn6.5 0.1 cold rolling strip were caused due to the derivation of metallurgical defects, such as SnO 2, S, fine looses,the inverse segregation unable to clear up when milling, and the accumulation of all kinds of resi dual stresses. When the accumulation of the residual stress reaches the material′s breaking strength, the cracks will be generated. | 11 | Comparative genomic study of gastric epithelial cells co-cultured with Helicobacter pylori显示文摘AIM:To identify genes potentially involved in Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)-induced gastric carcinogenesis.METHODS:GES-1 cells were co-cultured with H.pylori strains isolated from patients with gastric carcinoma(GC,n = 10) or chronic gastritis(CG,n = 10) for in vitro proliferation and apoptosis assays to identify the most and least virulent strains.These two strains were cagA-genotyped and used for further in vivo carcinogenic virulence assays by infecting Mongolian gerbils for 52 wk,respectively;a broth free of H.pylori was lavaged as control.Genomic profiles of GES-1 cells cocultured with the most and least virulent strains were determined by microarray analysis.The most differentially expressed genes were further verified using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction in GES-1cells infected with the most and least virulent strains,and by immunohistochemistry in H.pylori positive CG,precancerous diseases,and GC biopsy specimens in an independent experiment.RESULTS:GC-derived H.pylori strains induced a potent proliferative effect in GES-1 cells in co-culture,whereas CG-derived strains did not.The most(from a GC patient) and least(from a CG patient) virulent strains were cagA-positive and negative,respectively.At week 52,CG,atrophy,metaplasia,dysplasia,and GC were observed in 90.0%,80.0%,80.0%,90%,and 60.0%,respectively,of the animals lavaged with the most virulent strain.However,only mild CG was observed in 90% of the animals lavaged with the least virulent strain.On microarray analysis,800 differentially expressed genes(49 up-and 751 down-regulated),involving those associated with cell cycle regulation,cell apoptosis,cytoskeleton,immune response,and substance and energy metabolisms,were identified in cells co-cultured with the most virulent strain as compared with those co-cultured with the least virulent strain.The six most differentially expressed genes(with a betweenness centrality of 0.1-0.2) were identified among the significant differential gene profile network,including JUN,KRAS,BRCA1,SMAD2,TRAF1,and HDAC6.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction analyses verified that HDAC6 and TRFA1 mRNA expressions were significantly more up-regulated in GES-1 cells cocultured with the most virulent strain than in those cocultured with the least virulent strain.Immunohistochemistry of gastric mucosal specimens from H.pyloripositive patients with CG,intestinal metaplasia(IM),dysplasia,and GC showed that moderately positive and strongly positive HDAC6 expression was detected in 21.7% of CG patients,30.0% of IM patients,54.5% of dysplasia patients,and 77.8% of GC patients(P < 0.001).The up-regulation of TRAF1 expressions was detected in 34.8%,53.3%,72.7%,and 88.9% specimens of CG,IM,dysplasia,and GC,respectively(P < 0.001).CONCLUSION:The overexpression of HDAC6 and TRAF1 in GES-1 cells co-cultured with the GC-derived strain and in H.pylori-positive dysplasia and GC suggests that HDAC6 and TRAF1 may be involved in H.pyloriinduced gastric carcinogenesis. | Fen Wang Li-Dan Luo Jian-Hua Pan Li-Hua Huang Hong-Wei Lv Qin Guo Can-Xia Xu Shou-Rong Shen | 2012 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,48: | 3 |

| 13 | Influence of pore size optimization in catalyst layer on the mechanism of oxygen transport resistance in PEMFCs显示文摘In PEMFC,the oxygen transport resistance severely hinders the cell from achieving high performance.In this paper,pore-forming agent was used to optimize the pore size distribution of the catalyst layer(CL),and to study its effect on the mechanism of oxygen transport resistance,including molecular diffusion resistance,Knudsen diffusion resistance,and local O2 resistance in CL.The results showed that with the pore formation the cell performance had a significant improvement at high current density,mainly due to its better oxygen transport properties,especially under low platinum conditions.The addition of pore-forming agent moved the pore diameter toward a larger pore diameter with a range from 70 to 100 nm,and also obtaining a higher cumulative pore volume.It was found that the increase of the cumulative pore volume and larger pore size were conducive to the diffusion of oxygen molecules in CL,and the resistance caused by which was the dominant part in total transport resistance.Further tests indicated that the improvement of molecular diffusion resistance was much larger than that of Knudsen diffusion resistance in the catalyst layer after pore formed.In addition,the optimized pore structure will also get a higher number of effective pores,which resulted in an increased effective area of the ionomer on the Pt surface.The higher effective area of the ionomer was particularly beneficial for the reduction of local O_(2) resistance with low Pt loading. | Shumeng Guan Fen Zhou Jinting Tan Mu Pan | 2020 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2020,30,6: | 2 |

| 15 | Bio-inspired untethered fully soft robots in liquid actuated by induced energy gradients显示文摘Soft robotics with new designs,fabrication technologies and control strategies inspired by nature have been totally changing our view on robotics.To fully exploit their potential in practical applications,untethered designs are preferred in implementation.However,hindered by the limited thermal/mechanical performance of soft materials,it has been always challenging for researchers to implement untethered solutions,which generally involve rigid forms of high energy-density power sources or high energy-density processes.A number of insects in nature,such as rove beetles,can gain a burst of kinetic energy from the induced surface-energy gradient on water to return to their familiar habitats,which is generally known as Marangoni propulsion.Inspired by such a behavior,we report the agile untethered mobility of a fully soft robot in liquid based on induced energy gradients and also develop corresponding fabrication and maneuvering strategies.The robot can reach a speed of 5.5 body lengths per second,which is 7-fold more than the best reported,0.69(body length per second),in the previous work on untethered soft robots in liquid by far.Further controlling the robots,we demonstrate a soft-robot swarm that can approach a target simultaneously to assure a hit with high accuracy.Without employing any high energy-density power sources or processes,our robot exhibits many attractive merits,such as quietness,no mechanical wear,no thermal fatigue,invisibility and ease of robot fabrication,which may potentially impact many fields in the future. | Liang Xiong Lyu Fen Li Kang Wu Pan Deng Seung Hee Jeong Zhigang Wu Han Ding | 2019 | National Science Review2019,6,5: | 1 |

| 18 | Fat-to-muscle Ratio: A New Anthropometric Indicator for Predicting Metabolic Syndrome in the Han and Bouyei Populations from Guizhou Province, China显示文摘Objective To investigate the prevalence and possible factors influencing metabolic syndrome in people from Guizhou Province and to explore the predictive value of the fat-to-muscle ratio in diagnosing metabolic syndrome. Methods A multistage stratified sampling method was used in this cross-sectional study of 20-80 years old Han and Bouyei populations from Guizhou Province, southwestern China, from October-December 2012. The study included 4,553 cases of metabolic syndrome, that was defined according to 2005 International Diabetes Federation criteria. The receiver operating characteristic curve was used for determining the sensitivity, specificity, and predictive ability of the fat-to-muscle ratio for the diagnosis of metabolic syndrome. Results The age-standardized prevalence of metabolic syndrome was 11.38%(men: 9.76%; women: 12.72%) for Han and 4.78%(men: 4.43%; women: 5.30%) for Bouyei populations. In Guizhou Province, the cut-off value for the men fat-to-muscle ratio was 0.34, the area under the curve was 0.95, and the sensitivity and specificity were 0.94 and 0.85, respectively. The cut-off value for the women fat-to-muscle ratio was 0.55, the area under the curve was 0.91, and the sensitivity and specificity were 0.93 and 0.79, respectively.
