| 1 | Abatement of SO_2–NOx binary gas mixtures using a ferruginous active absorbent:Part I. Synergistic effects and mechanism显示文摘A novel ferruginous active absorbent, prepared by fly ash, industrial lime and the additive Fe(VI), was introduced for synchronous abatement of binary mixtures of SO2–NOx from simulated coal-fired flue gas. The synergistic action of various factors on the absorption of SO2 and NOx was investigated. The results show that a strong synergistic effect exists between Fe(VI) dose and reaction temperature for the desulfurization. It was observed that in the denitration process, the synergy of Fe(VI) dose and Ca/(S + N) had the most significant impact on the removal of NO, followed by the synergy of Fe(VI) and reaction temperature, and then the synergy of reaction temperature and flue gas humidity. A scanning electron microscope(SEM) and an accessory X-ray energy spectrometer(EDS)were used to observe the surface characteristics of the raw and spent absorbent as well as fly ash. A reaction mechanism was proposed based on chemical analysis of sulfur and nitrogen species concentrations in the spent absorbent. | 2 | Usefulness of myocardial performance index for assessing right ventricular function after percutaneous closure of atrial septal defect显示文摘Objective Assessment of right ventricular function in patients with atrial septal defect (ASD) is difficult. The Doppler myocardial performance index (MPI) may provide a method of assessing function in these patients. The purposes of this study were to evaluate the right ventricular function and its changes in patients with ASD after transcatheter closure of ASD. Methods MPI, defined as the sum of isovolumic relaxation time and isovolumic contraction time derived by ejection time, was measured from tricuspid inflow and right ventricular outflow;Doppler velocity profiles recorded during routine echocardiography.Twenty nine patients (13 men, 16 women;mean age 25.28±12.69, range 6 to 57 years) were diagnosed to secundum ASD [the stretched diameters of ASD were from 9 To 36 (24.91±7.98) mm], and had a successfully placed Amplatzer septal occluder (ASO) (the sizes of ASO were from 11 to 40 mm );there were 81 sex-matched, age-matched healthy people (control group 41men, 40 women;mean age 29.02 ± 14.22, range 4 to 45 years ). MPI was measured again on 3 days and 1 month after closure of ASD. Change in the study group was assessed and compared to the control subjects with structurally normal hearts. A complete 2-dimensional and Doppler echocardiographic examination was performed in all study groups. Results 1) The isovolumic relaxation and isovolumic contraction times [respectively(77.59 ± 14.39)ms vs (60.93 ±12.94)ms, P<0.0001;(28.28 ±10.88)ms vs (23.64 ±9.01)ms, P=0.027] were prolonged, and ejection time [(260.65 ±21.86 )ms vs (271.85 ± 21.92)ms, P=0.033] was shortened in patients with ASD compared with that in control subjects, resulting in a marked increase in the MPI(0.40 ± 0.07 vs 0.31 ± 0.05, P<0.0001) from normal values;2) by Pearson's correlations, the MPI had no correlation with heart rate and blood pressure in control subjects and patients with ASD, but it correlated positively with age in patients with ASD;3) by Pearson's correlations, the MPI correlated positively with the diameter of ASD and pulmonary artery pressure;4) after transcatheter closure of ASD, the MPI decreased markedly. | 5 | N^(6)-methyladenosine methyltransferase plays a role in hypoxic preconditioning partially through the interaction with lncRNA H19显示文摘N^(6)-methyladenosine(m6A),a m ethylation in the N6 position of adenosine especially in the mRNA,exerts diverse physiological and pathological functions.However,the precise role of m 6A methylation in hypoxic preconditioning(HPC)is still unknown.Here,we observed that HPC treatm ent protected H9c2 cells against H2O2-induced injury,upregulated the m 6A level in the total RNA and the expression of methyltransferase like 3(METTL3),methyltransferase like 14(METTL14),and long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)H19.Either knockdown of METTL3 or METTL14 notably reversed the HPC-induced enhancement of cell viability,anti-apoptosis ability,and H19 expression.M ethylated RNA im m unoprecipitation(IP)indicated that knockdown of METTL3 or METTL14 decreased m 6A level in the lncRNA H19.Gain-of-function assay dem onstrated that H19 overexpression could partially rescue the decreased protection mediated by METTL3 or METTL14 knockdown in HPCtreated H9c2 cells.RNA binding protein im m unoprecipitation(RIP)assay showed that METTL3 and METTL14 could directly bind w ith H19.Our study identified a novel pattern of posttranscriptional regulation in HPC treatm ent.Since METTL3,METTL14,and lncRNA H19 were involved in HPC protection,they could be considered as potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets in HPC-derived cardiac rehabilitation and therapeutic approaches. | Yamin Su Rongfeng X u Rui Zhang Yangyang Qu Wenjie Zuo Zhenjun Ji Haihua Geng Min Pan Genshan Ma | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,12: | 1 |

| 13 | Research on Temperature Field Reconstruction Based on RBF Approximation with Polynomial Reproduction Considering the Refraction Effect of Sound Wave Paths显示文摘The temperature field distribution directly reflects the combustion condition in a furnace.In this paper,acoustic thermometry to reconstruct temperature distribution is investigated.A method based on radial basis function approximation with polynomial reproduction(RBF-PR)is proposed in order to improve the accuracy and stability of the method based on RBF approximation.In addition,the refraction effect of sound wave paths is considered in the process of reconstruction.The curved lines with refraction effect are numerically calculated by solving differential equations,which show that sonic waves curve towards the zones of higher temperature.The reconstructed performance is validated via numerical simulation using four temperature distribution models.Results and analysis show that the proposed method has much greater accuracy than the method based on RBF approximation,and when considering the effect of refraction,our method can reconstruct more excellent reconstruction performance than others,which do not take into account the refraction effect of sound wave paths. | Qian Kong Genshan Jiang Yuechao Liu | 2018 | Sound & Vibration2018,52,4: | 1 |

| 20 | Motion characteristics of particles around the cylindrical tube in a standing wave sound field显示文摘A calculation method combining the acoustic radiation force around the cylinder and the acoustic streaming Stokes force is proposed to calculate the motion of fluid and granular media outside a cylindrical tube.Using the acoustic streaming equation outside the cylinder,the external vortex is obtained as the main body of flow when Rem≥325.27,where Rem is the dimensionless parameter that depends on the structure of the vertex.On this basis,the limit slip velocity of the acoustic streaming outside the tube is calculated by using Nyborg’s boundary slip velocity theory,and the acoustic radiation force formula near the cylinder.The expression of particle critical diameter is derived when the particle velocity is zero and the acoustic radiation force and the acoustic streaming Stokes force are in equilibrium.The movement of particles outside the cylinder at different positions is simulated,and the results are consistent with the theoretical formula:the particles’critical diameter is related to the acoustic frequency.When the particle diameter is less than the critical diameter,the Stokes force of the acoustic streaming is dominant,and the particles move with the acoustic streaming.When the particle diameter is greater than or equal to the critical diameter,the acoustic radiation force is dominant,and the particles gradually congregate at the node of the acoustic radiation force under the action of the acoustic radiation force.Theoretical and simulation results show that the proposed method can be used to examine the distribution of particles outside the tube,and the results are helpful to solve the problems of tube scaling and reduction of the heat exchange rate of heat exchangers and steam generators in power stations. | LIU Yuechao JIANG Genshan YANG Yanfeng KONG Qian | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics2023,42,2: | 0 |
