3Superabsorbent Fibers for Comfortable Disposable Medical Protective Clothing显示文摘Disposable medical protective clothing for 2019-nCoV mainly consists of stacked layers with nanopore films,polymer coated nonwoven fabrics and melt-blown nonwoven fabrics against anti-microbial and anti-liquid penetration.However,such structures lack moisture permeability and breathability leading to an uncomfortable,stuffy wearing experience.Here,we propose a novel medical protective clothing material with a superabsorbent layer to enhance moisture absorption.Poly(acrylic acid-co-acrylamide)/polyvinyl alcohol superabsorbent fibers(PAAAM/PVA fibers)were prepared via wet spinning.And the superabsorbent composite layer was stacked from PAAAM/PVA fibers,bamboo pulp fibers(BPF)and ethylene-propyl-ene side by side fibers(ESF).The novel disposable medical protective composite fabric was obtained through gluing the superabsorbent layer to the inner surface of strong antistatic polypropylene nonwoven fabric.The resultant composite fabric possesses excellent absorption and retention capacity for sweat,up to 12.3 g/g and 63.8%,and a maximum hygroscopic rate of 1.04 g/h,higher than that of the conventional material(only 0.53 g/h).The moisture permeability of the novel material reached 12,638.5 g/(m^(2) d),which was 307.6%of the conventional material.The novel material can effectively reduce the humidity inside the protective clothing and significantly improve the comfort of medical staff.Lin Yang Hong Liu Shuai Ding Jiawei Wu Yan Zhang Zhongzhen Wang Lili Wei Mingwei Tian Guangming Tao 2020Advanced Fiber Materials2020,2,3:11
4Cerium-tannic acid passivation treatment on galvanized steel显示文摘A novel cerium-tannic acid passivation treatment was performed on galvanized steel. The corrosion resistance of cerium-tannic passivated samples was tested by dropping test with 0.5 wt.% CuSO4 aqueous solution. The mass loss per unit area of passivated samples was measured after the corrosion in 0.5 mol/L NaCl + 0.005 mol/L H2SO4 at room temperature for 96 h. The electrochemical behaviors of cerium, tannic acid, and cerium-tannic acid passivated samples on galvanized steel in 0.5 mol/L NaCl solution were investigated by polarization curves and electrochemical impendence spectra. The corrosion equivalent circuit was established according to the impedance characteristics. The results show that cerium-tannic acid treated samples exhibit better corrosion resistance than the sole cerium or tannic acid treated samples under the same condition. 6Rapid degradation of dyes in water by magnetic Fe^0/Fe_3O_4/graphene composites显示文摘Magnetic Fe^0/Fe_3O_4/graphene has been successfully synthesized by a one-step reduction method and investigated in rapid degradation of dyes in this work. The material was characterized by N_2 sorption–desorption, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), vibrating-sample magnetometer(VSM) measurements and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The results indicated that Fe^0/Fe_3O_4/graphene had a layered structure with Fe crystals highly dispersed in the interlayers of graphene, which could enhance the mass transfer process between Fe^0/Fe_3O_4/graphene and pollutants. Fe^0/Fe_3O_4/graphene exhibited ferromagnetism and could be easily separated and re-dispersed for reuse in water. Typical dyes, such as Methyl Orange, Methylene Blue and Crystal Violet, could be decolorized by Fe^0/Fe_3O_4/graphene rapidly. After 20 min, the decolorization efficiencies of methyl orange, methylene blue and crystal violet were 94.78%, 91.60% and 89.07%, respectively. The reaction mechanism of Fe^0/Fe_3O_4/graphene with dyes mainly included adsorption and enhanced reduction by the composite. 19Solid particle size characterization by a high-frequency collision response in pneumatic particulate flow显示文摘A novel triaxial vibration method is developed for the real-time characterization of the solid particle size distribution(PsD)in pneumatic particulate flow,which is critical for chemical industry.In this work,the particle-wall collision and friction behaviours were analysed by the time-domain statistical and timefrequency joint methods to narrow the high-frequency response range by the initial experiment of free fall for a single particle,interparticle,and multiple particles.Subsequently,verification experiments of PSD characterization in pneumatic flow were performed.First,the quantitative triaxial energy response model that considers the particle size,shape,and mass factors were established.Second,a good agreement of the particle number identification was found between the triaxial vibration energy and mean particle size of 150-550μm.Moreover,the performance with the best accuracy was focused on a range of 42-43 kHz in the x-axis and z-axis and 36.8-38.8 kHz in the y-axis.Finally,the individual particle energy was inversely analysed by the triaxial vibration response within the optimized frequency bands,and the PSD was characterized in real-time by a low error rate,that is,5.2% from the XZ-axis direction of sand(42-43 kHz)and 5.6% from the XYZ-axis of glass(30.9-33.9 kHz,46.2-47.2 kHz,38.3-41.3 kHz for each axis response).Therefore,this research complements the existing approaches for PsD characterization in particulate multiphase flow.Kai Wang Yichen Li Ziang Chang Min Qin Guangming Fu Bangtang Yin Gang Wang jiaqi Tian 2024Particuology2024,86,3:0
