Assessment of genetic diversity in broomcorn millet (Panicum miliaceum L.) using SSR markers显示文摘The genetic diversity of 118 accessions of broomcorn millet(Panicum miliaceum L.),collected from various ecological areas, was analyzed.Using 46 SSR(Simple Sequence Repeat) polymorphic markers from rice, wheat, oat and barley,a total of 226 alleles were found, which exhibited moderate level of diversity. The number of alleles per primer ranged from two to nine, with an average of 4.91.The range of polymorphism information content(PIC) was 0.284-0.980(average,0.793).The expected heterozygosity(He) varied from 0.346 to 0.989,with an average of 0.834.The average coefficient of the genetic similarity of SSR markers among the 118 accessions was 0.609,and it ranged from 0.461 to 0.851.The UPGMA(Unweight Pair Group Method with Arithmetic Mean) clustering analysis at the genetic similarity value of 0.609 grouped the 118 accessions into five groups.Mantel test meant that geographical origin and genetic distance presented positive correlation. The clustering results were consistent with known information on ecological growing areas. The genetic similarity coefficient of the accessions in the Loess Plateau ecotype was significantly lower than those in the other ecotypes. It indicates that the highest level of genetic diversity occurred in the Loess Plateau, which is probably the original site of Panicum miliaceum.Xingyu Hu Jianfei Wang Ping Lu Hongsheng Zhang 2009Journal of Genetics and Genomics2009,36,8:44
Overexpression of Dlx2 enhances osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs and MC3T3-E1 cells via direct upregulation of Osteocalcin and Alp显示文摘Genetic studies have revealed a critical role of Distal-homeobox (Dlx) genes in bone formation, and our previous study showed that Dlx2 overexpressing in neural crest cells leads to profound abnormalities of the craniofacial tissues. The aim of this study was to investigate the role and the underlying molecular mechanisms of Dlx2 in osteogenic differentiation of mouse bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) and pre-osteoblast MC3T3-E1 cells.Initially,we observed upregulation of Dlx2 during the early osteogenesis in BMSCs and MC3T3-E1 cells.Moreover,Dlx2 overexpression enhanced alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity and extracellular matrix mineralization in BMSCs and MC3T3-E1 cell line.In addition,micro-CT of implanted tissues in nude mice confirmed that Dlx2 overexpression in BMSCs promoted bone formation in vivo.Unexpectedly,Dlx2 overexpression had little impact on the expression level of the pivotal osteogenic transcription factors Runx2,Dlx5,Msx2,and Osterix, but led to upregulation of Alp and Osteocalcin (OCN),both of which play critical roles in promoting osteoblast maturation.Importantly, luciferase analysis showed that Dlx2 overexpression stimulated both OCN and Alp promoter activity.Through chromatin-immunoprecipitation assay and site-directed mutagenesis analysis,we provide molecular evidence that Dlx2 transactivates OCN and Alp expression by directly binding to the Dlx2-response cis-acting elements in the promoter of the two genes.Based on these findings,we demonstrate that Dlx2 overexpression enhances osteogenic differentiation in vitro and accelerates bone formation in vivo via direct upregulation of the OCN and Alp gene, suggesting that Dlx2 plays a crucial role in osteogenic differentiation and bone formation.Jianfei Zhang Wenbin Zhang Jiewen Dai Xudong Wang Steve Guofang Shen 2019International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,2:19
The improved element-free Galerkin method for three-dimensional transient heat conduction problems显示文摘With the improved moving least-squares (IMLS) approximation, an orthogonal function system with a weight function is used as the basis function. The combination of the element-free Galerkin (EFG) method and the IMLS approximation leads to the development of the improved element-free Galerkin (IEFG) method. In this paper, the IEFG method is applied to study the partial differential equations that control the heat flow in three-dimensional space. With the IEFG technique, the Galerkin weak form is employed to develop the discretized system equations, and the penalty method is applied to impose the essential boundary conditions. The traditional difference method for two-point boundary value problems is selected for the time discretization. As the transient heat conduction equations and the boundary and initial conditions are time dependent, the scaling parameter, number of nodes and time step length are considered in a convergence study.ZHANG Zan WANG JianFei CHENG YuMin LIEW Kim Meow 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,8:18
Mouse macrophage specific knockout of SIRT1 influences macrophage polarization and promotes angiotensin Ⅱ-induced abdominal aortic aneurysm formation显示文摘Abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA) is a vascular degenerative disease. Macrophage polarization and the balance between classically activated macrophages(M1) and alternatively activated macrophages(M2)are crucial for AAA pathogenesis. The present study aims to investigate the roles of macrophage SIRT1 in AAA formation and macrophage polarization. We found that in mouse peritoneal macrophages, SIRT1 expression was decreased after M1 stimulation, but was enhanced after M2 stimulation. Results from SIRT1^(flox/flox) mice and macrophage specific SIRT1 knockout mice with treatment of angiotensin II(Ang II)for 4 weeks showed that macrophage specific deficiency of SIRT1 increased the incidence of AAA and exacerbated the severity, including more severe aneurysm types, enlarged diameter of the aneurysm and increased degradation of elastin. In mouse aortas, SIRT1 deficiency increased the proinflammatory M1 molecule inducible nitric oxide synthase(i NOS), and decreased M2 molecules such as arginase 1(Arg1) and mannose receptor(MR). Furthermore, in peritoneal macrophages, SIRT1 deficiency increased the expression of M1 inflammatory molecules, but decreased the expression of M2 molecules. Overexpression of SIRT1 had the opposite effects. Thus, macrophage specific knockout of SIRT1 influences macrophage polarization and accelerates Ang II-induced AAA formation.Zhuqin Zhang Jing Xu Yue Liu Tingting Wang Jianfei Pei Liqin Cheng Delong Hao Xiang Zhao Hou-Zao Chen De-Pei Liu 2018Journal of Genetics and Genomics2018,45,1:15
Magnolol additive as a replacer of antibiotic enhances the growth performance of Linwu ducks显示文摘Magnolol rich in Magnolia officinalis is a bioactive polyphenolic compound. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of magnolol additive(MA) on growth performance, expression levels of antioxidantrelated genes, and intestinal mucosal morphology of Linwu ducks aged from 49 to 70 days, comparing with that of an antibiotic additive(colistin sulfate [CS]). A total of 275,49-day-old ducks were assigned to5 groups with 5 cages of 11 ducks each and fed diets supplemented with 0,100, 200 and 300 mg of MA/kg and 300 mg of CS/kg for 3 weeks, respectively. The results showed that the average daily body weight gain(ADG) was increased significantly in MA-fed groups(200 and 300 mg/kg), compared with the basal diet(BD) group(P < 0.05). The mRNA levels of superoxide dismutase-1(SOD1), manganese superoxide dismutase-2(MnSOD2) and catalase(CAT) were also increased significantly in MA groups(P < 0.05). In addition, hematoxylin and eosin staining revealed that Linwu ducks fed the diets with MA had more intact intestinal mucosa than those fed the BD and CS diets. In addition, ileal villus height, ileal villus height/crypt depth ratio(V/C) and duodenal V/C were also improved significantly(P < 0.05). Taken together, these data demonstrated that MA is an effective feed additive to enhance the growth performance of the Linwu ducks by improving the antioxidant and intestinal mucosal status, suggesting that MA will be a potential additive to replace antibiotic(CS).Qian Lin Jianfei Zhao Kun Xie Yushi Wang Guili Hu Guitao Jiang Qiuzhong Dai Zhiyong Fan Jianhua He Xi He De-Xing Hou 2017Animal Nutrition2017,,2:14
Chemical and optical properties of aerosols and their interrelationship in winter in the megacity Shanghai of China显示文摘A field campaign on air quality was carried out in Shanghai in winter of 2012. The concentrations of NO, NO2, NOx, SO2, CO, and PM2.5increased during haze formation. The average masses of SO42-, NO3-and NH4+were 10.3, 11.7 and 6.7 μg/m3 during the haze episodes, which exceeded the average(9.2, 7.9, and 3.4 μg/m3) of these components in the non-haze days. The mean values for the aerosol scattering coefficient(b sp), aerosol absorption coefficient(b ap) and single scattering albedo(SSA) were 288.7, 27.7 and0.91 Mm-1, respectively. A bi-peak distribution was observed for the mass concentrations of CO, NO, NO2, and NOx. More sulfate was produced during daytime than that in the evening due to photochemical reactions. The mass concentration of NH4+achieved a small peak at noontime. NO3-showed lower concentrations in the afternoon and higher concentrations in the early morning. There were obvious bi-peak diurnal patterns for b sp and b ap as well as SSA. b sp and b ap showed a positive correlation with PM2.5mass concentration.(NH4)2SO4, NH4NO3, organic mass, elemental carbon and coarse mass accounted for 21.7%, 19.3%, 31.0%, 9.3% and 12.3% of the total extinction coefficient during non-haze days, and 25.6%, 24.3%, 30.1%, 8.1% and 8.2% during hazy days. Organic matter was the largest contributor to light extinction. The contribution proportions of ammonium sulfate and ammonium nitrate to light extinction were significantly higher during the hazy time than during the non-haze days.Tingting Han Liping Qiao Min Zhou Yu Qu Jianfei Du Xingang Liu Shengrong Lou Changhong Chen Hongli Wang Fang Zhang Qing Yu Qiong Wu 2015Journal of Environmental Sciences2015,27,1:14
Salusins protect myocardium against ischemic injury by alleviating endoplasmic reticulum stress显示文摘Salusins are regulatory peptides that affect cardiovascular function. We previously reported that salusin-α and -β protected cultured cardiomyocytes from serum deprivation-induced cell death through upregulating glucose-regulated protein 78 (GRP78), an endoplasmic reticulum (ER) resident protein whose overexpression acts as a marker and suppressor of ER stress. The present study examined whether salusin-α and -β inhibit ER stress in ischemic myocardium. In a rat model of myocardial infarction created by ligating the left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD), salusin-α or -β was intravenously injected at 5 or 15 nmol kg 1 15 min prior to 2 h of LAD occlusion. The high dose of salusin-α and -β significantly improved heart function and hemodynamics in LAD-occluded rats, but had no effects in sham-operated rats. The arrhythmias caused by LAD occlusion were markedly attenuated by salusin-α and -β. The apoptotic rate in ischemic myocardium was reduced from 31.5%±3.7% to 19.8%±2.2% and 12.3%±2.2%, and the infarct size was reduced from 53.4%±4.0% of the risk area to 26.5%±9.7% and 23.7%±8.9% by 15 nmol kg 1 salusin-α and -β, respectively. Furthermore, salusin-α and -β prevented the activation of GRP78 and ER stress-specific apoptotic effectors caspase-12 and CHOP (C/EBP homologous protein), and attenuated the reduction of an ER stress-associated antiapoptotic protein Bcl-2 in ischemic cardiac tissue. The salusins also inhibited the ER stress induced by tunicamycin in cultured rat H9c2 cardiomyocytes. These results indicate that salusins protect myocardium against ischemic injury by inhibiting ER stress and ER stress-associated apoptosis.WANG JianFei WANG Yin SHAN ShiFu HU TianTian CHEN HuYan TIAN Jing REN AnJing ZHOU Xu YUAN WenJun LIN Li 2012Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,4:11
Chemical and Isotopic Characteristics of the Water and Suspended Particulate Materials in the Yangtze River and Their Geological and Environmental Implications显示文摘The chemical and isotopic characteristics of the water and suspended particulate materials(SPM) in the Yangtze River were investigated on the samples collected from 25 hydrological monitoring stations in the mainsteam and 13 hydrological monitoring stations in the major tributaries during 2003 to 2007. The water samples show a large variation in both δD( 30‰ to 112‰) and δ18O( 3.8‰ to 15.4‰) values. Both δD and δ18O values show a decrease from the river head to the Jinsha Jiang section and then increase downstream to the river mouth. It is found that the oxygen and hydrogen isotopic compositions of the Yangtze water are controlled by meteoric precipitation, evaporation, ice(and snow) melting and dam building. The Yangtze SPM concentrations show a large variation and are well corresponded to the spatial and temporal changes of flow speed, runoff and SPM supply, which are affected by the slope of the river bed, local precipitation rate, weathering intensity, erosion condition and anthropogenic activity. The Yangtze SPM consists of clay minerals, clastic silicate and carbonate minerals, heavy minerals, iron hydroxide and organic compounds. From the upper to lower reaches, the clay and clastic silicate components in SPM increase gradually, but the carbonate components decrease gradually, which may reflect changes of climate and weathering intensity in the drainage area. Compared to those of the upper crust rocks, the Yangtze SPM has lower contents of SiO2, CaO, K2 O and Na2 O and higher contents of TFe2 O3 and trace metals of Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pb and Cd. The ΣREE in the Yangtze SPM is also slightly higher than that of the upper crust. From the upper to lower reaches, the CaO and MgO contents in SPM decrease gradually, but the SiO2 content increases gradually, corresponding to the increase of clay minerals and decrease of the carbonates. The δ30SiSPM values( 1.1‰ to 0.3‰) of the Yangtze SPM are similar to those of the average shale, but lower than those of the granite rocks( 0.3‰ to 0.3‰), reflecting the effect of silicon isotope fractionation in silicate weathering process. The δ30SiSPM values of the Yangtze SPM show a decreasing trend from the upper to the middle and lower reaches, responding to the variation of the clay content. The major anions of the river water are HCO 3, SO 4 2, Cl, NO 3, SiO 4 4 and F and the major cations include Ca2+, Na+, Mg2+, K+ and Sr2+. The good correlation between HCO3-content and the content of Ca2+may suggest that carbonate dissolution is the dominate contributor to the total dissolved solid(TDS) of the Yangtze River. Very good correlations are also found among contents of Cl, SO4 2, Na+, Mg2+, K+and Sr2+, indicating the important contribution of evaporite dissolution to the TDS of the Yangtze River. High TDS contents are generally found in the head water, reflecting a strong effect of evaporation in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. A small increase of the TDS is generally observed in the river mouth, indicating the influence of tidal intrusion. The F and NO3 contents show a clear increase trend from the upstream to downstream, reflecting the contribution of pesticides and fertilizers in the Chuan Jiang section and the middle and lower reaches. The DSi shows a decrease trend from the upstream to downstream, reflecting the effect of rice and grass growth along the Chuan Jiang section and the middle and lower reaches. The dissolved Cu, Zn and Cd in the Yangtze water are all higher than those in world large rivers, reflecting the effect of intensive mining activity along the Yangtze drainage area. The Yangtze water generally shows similar REE distribution pattern to the global shale. The δ30SiDiss values of the dissolved silicon vary from 0.5‰ to 3.7‰, which is the highest among those of the rivers studied. The δ30SiDiss values of the water in the Yangtze mainsteam show an increase trend from the upper stream to downstream. Its DSi and δ30SiDiss are influenced by multiple processes, such as weathering process, phytolith growth in plants, evaporation, phytolith dissolution, growth of fresh water diatom, adsorption and desorption of aqueous monosilicic acid on iron oxide, precipitation of silcretes and formation of clays coatings in aquifers, and human activity. The δ34SSO4 values of the Yangtze water range from 1.7‰ to 9.0‰. The SO4 in the Yangtze water are mainly from the SO4 in meteoric water, the dissolved sulfate from evaporite, and oxidation of sulfide in rocks, coal and ore deposits. The sulfate reduction and precipitation process can also affect the sulfur isotope composition of the Yangtze water. The87Sr/86Sr ratios of the Yangtze water range from 0.70823 to 0.71590, with an average value of 0.71084. The87Sr/86Sr ratio and Sr concentration are primary controlled by mixing of various sources with different87Sr/86Sr ratios and Sr contents, including the limestone, evaporite and the silicate rocks. The atmospheric precipitation and anthropogenic inputs can also contribute some Sr to the river. The δ11B values of the dissolved B in the Yangtze water range from 2.0‰ to 18.3‰, which is affected by multifactors, such as silicate weathering, carbonate weathering, evaporite dissolution, atmospheric deposition, and anthropogenic inputs.DING Tiping GAO Jianfei TIAN Shihong SHI Guoyu CHEN Feng WANG Chengyu LUO Xurong HAN Dan 2014Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,1:10
Mobility-Aware Partial Computation Offloading in Vehicular Networks: A Deep Reinforcement Learning Based Scheme显示文摘Encouraged by next-generation networks and autonomous vehicle systems, vehicular networks must employ advanced technologies to guarantee personal safety, reduce traffic accidents and ease traffic jams.By leveraging the computing ability at the network edge,multi-access edge computing(MEC)is a promising technique to tackle such challenges.Compared to traditional full offloading, partial offloading offers more flexibility in the perspective of application as well as deployment of such systems.Hence,in this paper,we investigate the application of partial computing offloading in-vehicle networks. In particular,by analyzing the structure of many emerging applications,e.g.,AR and online games,we convert the application structure into a sequential multi-component model.Focusing on shortening the application execution delay,we extend the optimization problem from the single-vehicle computing offloading(SVCOP)scenario to the multi-vehicle computing offloading(MVCOP)by taking multiple constraints into account.A deep reinforcement learning(DRL)based algorithm is proposed as a solution to this problem.Various performance evaluation results have shown that the proposed algorithm achieves superior performance as compared to existing offloading mechanisms in deducing application execution delay.Jianfei Wang Tiejun Lv Pingmu Huang P.Takis Mathiopoulos 2020China Communications2020,17,10:7
MCM-41 supported nano-sized CuO-CeO2 for catalytic combustion of chlorobenzene显示文摘In this paper,MCM-41 was synthesized by a soft template technique and MCM-41 supported CuO-CeO2 nano-sized catalysts with different Cu/Ce molar ratios were prepared by a deposition-precipitation method.N2 adsorption,HRTEM-EDS,H2-TPR,XPS characterization,as well as catalytic activity and durability tests for the catalytic combustion of chlorobenzene(CB)were conducted to explore the relationship between the structure and catalytic performance of the catalysts. It is revealed that cuCe(6:1)/MCM-41 has the highest activity and can completely catalyze the degradation of CB at 260℃.The reasons for the high activity of the catalysts are as follows:MCM-41,a type of mesoporous material which has large pore size and large specific surface area,is suitable as a catalyst carrier. The average diameter of nano-sized CuO and CeO2 particles is about 3-5 nm and adding CeO2 improves the dispersion of active component CuO,which are highly and evenly dispersed on the surface of MCM-41.Characterization results also explain why MCM-41 supported CuO-CeO2 with appropriate proportion can highly enhance the catalytic activity. The reason is that CeO2 acting as an oxygen-rich material can improve the mobility of oxygen species through continuous redox between Ce4^+and Ce3^+,and improve the catalytic performance of CuO for CB combustion.Besides,CuCe(6:1)/MCM-41 also displays good durability for CB combustion, both in the humid condition and in the presence of benzene, making it a promising catalytic material for the elimination of chlorinated VOCs.Jie Zheng Zhu Chen Jianfei Fang Zhuo Wang Shufeng Zuo 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,9:7
Bloch Constant of Holomorphic Mappings on the Unit Ball of C^n显示文摘In this paper, the authors establish distortion theorems for various subfamilies H_k(B)of holomorphic mappings defined in the unit ball in C^n with critical points, where k is any positive integer. In particular, the distortion theorem for locally biholomorphic mappings is obtained when k tends to+∞.These distortion theorems give lower bounds on|det f′(z)|and Re det f′(z).As an application of these distortion theorems, the authors give lower and upper bounds of Bloch constants for the subfamiliesβ_k(M)of holomorphic mappings. Moreover, these distortion theorems are sharp. When B is the unit disk in C,these theorems reduce to the results of Liu and Minda.A new distortion result of Re det f′(z)for locally biholomorphie mappings is also obtained.Jianfei WANG Taishun LIU 2007Chinese Annals of Mathematics,Series B2007,28,6:7
Influences of prolate spheroidal baffle of sound diffraction on spatial directivity of acoustic vector sensor显示文摘The directivity of acoustic vector sensor (AVS) will be distorted by the sound diffraction of the AVS carrier. In this paper, the scattering of a plane acoustic wave from a prolate spheroid baffle is considered. At first, the sound diffraction of prolate spheroidal baffle is established, then the mathematical expressions of sound pressure field and particle vibration velocity field of sound diffraction are derived and the characteristic of the directivity of pressure and velocity of sound diffraction field at different frequencies and distances is analyzed. The directivity of AVS is determined by the amplitude and phase difference of diffraction wave and incident wave, which possesses a close relationship with frequency and incident angle. Finally, the calculated results are compared with the experimental results.JI JianFei, LIANG GuoLong, WANG Yan & LIN WangSheng National Laboratory of Underwater Acoustic Technology, Harbin Engineering University, Harbin 150001, China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,10:6
Recent Progress in Fiber-Optic Hydrophones显示文摘Fiber-optic hydrophone (FOH) is a significant type of acoustic sensor, which can be used in both military and civilian fields such as underwater target detection, oil and natural gas prospecting, and earthquake inspection. The recent progress of FOH is introduced from five aspects, including large-scale FOH array, very-low-frequency detection, fiber-optic vector hydrophone (FOVH), towed linear array, and deep-sea and long-haul transmission. The above five aspects indicate the future development trends in the FOH research field, and they also provide a guideline for the practical applications of FOH as well as its array.Zhou MENG Wei CHEN Jianfei WANG Xiaoyang HU Mo CHEN Yichi ZHANG 2021Photonic Sensors2021,11,1:6

Characterization of particle number size distribution and new particle formation in Southern China显示文摘Knowledge of particle number size distribution(PND) and new particle formation(NPF)events in Southern China is essential for mitigation strategies related to submicron particles and their effects on regional air quality, haze, and human health. In this study, seven field measurement campaigns were conducted from December 2013 to May 2015 using a scanning mobility particle sizer(SMPS) at four sites in Southern China, including three urban sites and one background site.Particles were measured in the size range of15-515 nm,and the median particle number concentrations(PNCs) were found to vary in the range of 0.3× 10~4-2.2 × 10~4 cn^(-3) at the urban sites and were approximately 0.2 × 10~4 cm^(-3) at the background site. The peak diameters at the different sites varied largely from 22 to 102 nm.The PNCs in the Aitken mode(25-100 nm) at the urban sites were up to 10 times higher than they were at the background site, indicating large primary emissions from traffic at the urban sites. The diurnal variations of PNCs were significantly influenced by both rush hour traffic at the urban sites and NPF events. The frequencies of NPF events at the different sites were0%-30%,with the highest frequency occurring at an urban site during autumn. With higher SO_2 concentrations and higher ambient temperatures being necessary,NPF at the urban site was found to be more influenced by atmospheric oxidizing capability, while NPF at the background site was limited by the condensation sink. This study provides a unique dataset of particle number and size information in various environments in Southern China, which can help understand the sources, formation, and the climate forcing of aerosols in this quickly developing region,as well as help constrain and validate NPF modeling.Xiaofeng Huang Chuan Wang Jianfei Peng Lingyan He Liming Cao Qiao Zhu Jie Cui Zhijun Wu Min Hu 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,1:4
Geochemistry of rare-earth elements in shallow groundwater, northeastern Guangdong Province, China显示文摘Shallow groundwater and hot springs were collected from northeastern Guangdong Province, Southeast China, to determine the concentrations and fractionation patterns of rare-earth elements(REE). The results show that the La, Ce and Nd of REEs are abundant in groundwater and rock samples, and the ∑REE contents in groundwater and rock samples range from 126.5 to 2875.3 ng/L, and 79.44 to 385.85 mg/L, respectively. The shallow groundwater has slightly HREE-enriched PAAS-normalized patterns. However, the granitic rocks PAAS-normalized patterns, with remarkable negative Eu anomalies, are different from that of shallow groundwater. The enrichment of HREE is considered to be controlled by REE complexation and readsorption for most groundwater has Ce and Eu positive anomalies. The Ce and Eu anomalies in groundwater are controlled by redox conditions. Moreover, the Fe-contain sediments dissolution and/or the reduction of Fe oxyhydroxides are another factor contributing to Ce anomalies. The Eu anomalies in groundwater are controlled by the preferential mobilization of Eu2+ during water-rock interaction compared to Eu3+.YUAN Jianfei MAO Xumei WANG Yanxin DENG Zhide HUANG Leihui 2014Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2014,33,1:4
Chemical and Isotopic Characters of the Water and Suspended Particulate Materials in the Yellow River and Their Geological and Environmental Implications显示文摘The chemical and isotopic characteristics of the water and suspended particulate materials(SPM)in the Yellow River were investigated on the samples collected from 29 hydrological monitoring stations in the mainstem and several major tributaries during 2004 to 2007.TheδD andδ^(18)O values of the Yellow River water vary in large ranges from-32‰to-91‰and from-3.1‰to-12.5‰,respectively.The characters of H and O isotope variations indicate that the major sources of the Yellow River water are meteoric water and snow melting water, and water cycle in the Yellow River basin is affected strongly by evaporation process and human activity. The average SPM content(9.635g/L)of the Yellow River is the highest among the world large rivers.Compared with the Yangtze River, the Yellow River SPM has much lower clay content and significantly higher contents of clastic silicates and carbonates. In comparison to the upper crust rocks, the Yellow River SPM contains less SiO_2,CaO,K_2O and Na_2O,but more TFe_2O_3,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Pb and Cd.The abnormal high Cd contents found in some sample may be related to local industrial activity. The REE contents and distribution pattern of the Yellow River SPM are very close to the average value of the global shale. The averageδ^(30)Si_(SPM)in the Yellow River(-0.11‰)is slightly higher than the average value(-0.22‰)of the Yangtze River SPM.The major factors controlling theδ^(30)Si_(SPM)of the Yellow River are the soil supply, the isotopic composition of the soil and the climate conditions. The TDS in the Yellow River are the highest among those of world large rivers.Fair correlations are observed among Cl^-,Na^+,K^+,and Mg^(2+)contents of the Yellow River water, indicating the effect of evaporation. The Ca^(2+)and Sr^(2+)concentrations show good correlation to the SO_4^(2-)concentration rather than HCO_3^-concentration,reflecting its origin from evaporates. The NO_3^-contents are affected by farmland fertilization. The Cu,Zn and Cd contents in dissolved load of the Yellow River water are all higher than those of average world large rivers, reflecting the effect of human activity. The dissolved load in the Yellow River water generally shows a REE distribution pattern parallel to those for the Yangtze River and the Xijiang River.Theδ^(30)Si values of the dissolved silicon vary in a range from 0.4‰to 2.9‰,averaging1.34‰.The major processes controlling the D_(Si)andδ^(30)Si_(Diss)of the Yellow River water are the weathering process of silicate rocks, growth of phytolith in plants, evaporation, dissolution of phytolith in soil, growth of fresh water diatom, adsorption and desorption of aqueous monosilicic acid on iron oxide and human activities. The averageδ^(30)Si_(Diss)value of the Yellow River is significantly lower than that of the Nile River,Yangtze River and Siberia rivers, but higher than those of other rivers, reflecting their differences in chemical weathering and biological activity.Theδ^(34)S_(SO4)values of the Yellow River water range from-3.8‰to 14.1‰,averaging 7.97‰.There is some correlation between SO_4^(2-)content andδ^(34)S_(SO4).The factors controlling theδ^(34)S_(SO4)of the Yellow River water are the SO_4 in the meteoric water, the SO_4 from gypsum or anhydrite in evaporite rocks, oxidation and dissolution of sulfides in the mineral deposits, magmatic rocks and sedimentary rocks, the sulfate reduction and precipitation process and the sulfate from fertilizer.The^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios of all samplesrange from 0.71041 to 0.71237,averaging 0.71128.The variations in the^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratio and Sr concentration of river water are primarily caused by mixing of waters of various origins with different^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios and Sr contents resulting from water-rock interaction with different rock types.DING Tiping GAO Jianfei TIAN Shihong WANG Huaibai LI Ming WANG Chengyu LUO Xurong HANG Dan 2016Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,1:4
Mission evaluation: expert evaluation system for large-scale combat tasks of the weapon system of systems显示文摘Mission evaluation is a new requirement for capability evaluation of the weapon system of systems(WSOS) in the era of big data, and is based on evaluating large-scale tasks with similar attributes. The use of traditional methods by military experts to evaluate large scale tasks incurs significant time cost and results in low accuracy, and is caused by a variety of factors that cause confusion. Therefore, we developed a system to assist military personnel in improving the efficiency of mission evaluation; the main innovations of our work include the qualitative and quantitative visualization of complex information is realized in a three-pane interface. We also realize the iterative and interactive evaluation modes of large-scale tasks by using the active learning method; moreover, the overall display of large-scale task evaluation results is realized using statistical graphics. In practical application, the system not only improves the users' efficiency and accuracy scores, but also helps to achieve the recognition evaluation for the overall scoring results.Jianfei DING Guangya SI Jun MA Yanzheng WANG Zhe WANG 2018Science China(Information Sciences)2018,61,1:4
Morphology and composition of particles emitted from a port fuel injection gasoline vehicle under real-world driving test cycles显示文摘Traffic vehicles, many of which are powered by port fuel injection(PFI) engines, are major sources of particulate matter in the urban atmosphere. We studied particles from the emission of a commercial PFI-engine vehicle when it was running under the states of cold start, hot start, hot stabilized running, idle and acceleration, using a transmission electron microscope and an energy-dispersive X-ray detector. Results showed that the particles were mainly composed of organic, soot, and Ca-rich particles, with a small amount of S-rich and metal-containing particles, and displayed a unimodal size distribution with the peak at 600 nm. The emissions were highest under the cold start running state, followed by the hot start, hot stabilized, acceleration, and idle running states. Organic particles under the hot start and hot stabilized running states were higher than those of other running states. Soot particles were highest under the cold start running state. Under the idle running state, the relative number fraction of Ca-rich particles was high although their absolute number was low. These results indicate that PFI-engine vehicles emit substantial primary particles, which favor the formation of secondary aerosols via providing reaction sites and reaction catalysts, as well as supplying soot, organic, mineral and metal particles in the size range of the accumulation mode. In addition, the contents of Ca, P, and Zn in organic particles may serve as fingerprints for source apportionment of particles from PFI-engine vehicles.Jiaoping Xing Longyi Shao Wenbin Zhang Jianfei Peng Wenhua Wang Cong Hou Shijin Shuai Min Hu Daizhou Zhang 2019Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,2:4
