1Robust single machine scheduling problem with uncertain job due dates for industrial mass production显示文摘The single machine scheduling problem which involves uncertain job due dates is one of the most important issues in the real make-to-order environment. To deal with the uncertainty, this paper establishes a robust optimization model by minimizing the maximum tardiness in the worst case scenario over all jobs. Unlike the traditional stochastic programming model which requires exact distributions, our model only needs the information of due date intervals. The worst case scenario for a given sequence that belongs to a set containing only n scenarios is proved, where n is the number of jobs. Then, the model is simplified and reformulated as an equivalent mixed 0-1 integer linear programming(MILP) problem. To solve the MILP problems efficiently, a heuristic approach is proposed based on a robust dominance rule. 2Density-functional-theory predictions of mechanical behaviour and thermal properties as well as experimental hardness of the Ga-bilayer Mo_(2)Ga_(2)C显示文摘Mo_(2)Ga_(2)C is a new MAX phase with a stacking Ga-bilayer as well as possible unusual properties.To understand this unique MAX phase structure and promote possible future applications,the structure,chemical bonding,and mechanical and thermodynamic properties of Mo_(2)Ga_(2)C were investigated by first-principles.Using the“bond stiffness”model,the strongest covalent bonding(1162 GPa)was formed between Mo and C atoms in Mo_(2)Ga_(2)C,while the weakest Ga–Ga(389 GPa)bonding was formed between two Ga-atomic layers,different from other typical MAX phases.The ratio of the bond stiffness of the weakest bond to the strongest bond(0.33)was lower than 1/2,indicating the high damage tolerance and fracture toughness of Mo_(2)Ga_(2)C,which was confirmed by indentation without any cracks.The high-temperature heat capacity and thermal expansion of Mo_(2)Ga_(2)C were calculated in the framework of quasi-harmonic approximation from 0 to 1300 K.Because of the metal-like electronic structure,the electronic excitation contribution became more significant with increasing temperature above 300 K.Xinxin QI Weilong YIN Sen JIN Aiguo ZHOU Xiaodong HE Guangping SONG Yongting ZHENG Yuelei BAI 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,2:2
3Antibacterial Effects of Chinese Herbal Medicines against Streptococcus iniae in Oreochromis niloticus显示文摘In this study,the antibacterial effects of Chinese herbal medicines against Streptococcus iniae in Oreochromis niloticus were investigated by drug sensitivity test. The results indicated that Streptococcus iniae was extremely sensitive to Galla Chinensis,Fructus Hippophae and Fructus Mume,highly sensitive to Sappan Lignum,Pericarpium Granati,Folium Eucalypti and Radix Scutellariae,moderately sensitive to Rhizoma Coptidis,Radix et Rhizoma Rhei,Flos Caryophyllata,Cortex phellodendri and Rabdosia serra( Maxim.) Hara,and insensitive to Herba Portulacae,Herba Houttuyniae,Polygonum hydropiper L.,Herba Menthae,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae,Herba Andrographitis and Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii. Chinese medicinal herbs which Streptococcus iniae was extremely sensitive or moderately sensitive to were selected and prepared into three Chinese herbal medicine formulae for medicated bath of Oreochromis niloticus infected artificially with Streptococcus iniae. The results showed that medicated bath elicited therapeutic effects on infected Oreochromis niloticus. 5Prognostic value of cardiovascular magnetic resonance in immune checkpoint inhibitor-associated myocarditis:A systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘Background:The role of surgery in metastatic breast cancer(MBC)is currently controversial.Several novel statistical and deep learning(DL)methods promise to infer the suitability of surgery at the individual level.Objective:The objective of this study was to identify the most applicable DL model for determining patients with MBC who could benefit from surgery and the type of surgery required.Methods:We introduced the deep survival regression with mixture effects(DSME),a semi-parametric DL model integrating three causal inference methods.Six models were trained to make individualized treatment recommendations.Patients who received treatments in line with the DL models'recommendations were compared with those who underwent treatments divergent from the recommendations.Inverse probability weighting(IPW)was used to minimize bias.The effects of various features on surgery selection were visualized and quantified using multivariate linear regression and causal inference.Results:In total,5269 female patients with MBC were included.DSME was an independent protective factor,outperforming other models in recommend-ing surgery(IPW-adjusted hazard ratio[HR]=0.39,95%confidence interval[CI]:0.19–0.78)and type of surgery(IPW-adjusted HR=0.66,95%CI:0.48–0.93).DSME was superior to other models and traditional guidelines,suggesting a higher proportion of patients benefiting from surgery,especially breast-conserving surgery.The debiased effect of patient characteristics,including age,tumor size,metastatic sites,lymph node status,and breast cancer subtypes,on surgery decision was also quantified.Conclusions:Our findings suggested that DSME could effectively identify patients with MBC likely to benefit from surgery and the specific type of surgery needed.This method can facilitate the development of efficient,reliable treatment recommendation systems and provide quantifiable evidence for decision-making.Wenhua Song Nan Zhang Tonglian Lv Yang Zhao Guangping Li Gary Tse Tong Liu 2024Cancer Innovation2024,3,3:0
6Histopathological Observation of Cynoglossus semilaevis Günther with Abdominal Dropsy in Industrial Aquaculture显示文摘Objective This study aimed to investigate and analyze the histopathological changes in various tissues and organs of Cynoglossus semilaevis Günther with abdominal dropsy. Method By HE staining,pathological tissues of main organs of C. semilaevis Günther with abdominal dropsy were observed. Result According to the results of histopathological observation,C. semilaevis Günther with abdominal dropsy exhibited a large amount of ascites in the abdominal cavity;small intestinal mucosal epithelial cells were denatured and necrotic,and shed into the enteric cavity,with submucosal vascular congestion; the liver and pancreas tissues were denatured and necrotic,and the morphology of most liver cells disappeared. However,there was no remarkable pathological change in the heart,spleen and other organs. 7Development and Application of Carbon-free Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO Dense Bricks for Steel Ladles显示文摘Carbon-free Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO dense bricks were produced by the pressing method,using tabular alumina,white fused alumina,alumina micro-powder as main raw materials,and inorganic powder as the binder.The comprehensive properties and performance in steel ladle side wall were made a comparison between Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO dense bricks and precast blocks.The results show that Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO dense bricks exhibit high dense structure and strength,as well as superior thermal shock resistance and better penetration and corrosion resistance to slag than precast blocks.While replacing precast blocks with dense bricks in 250 t steel ladle side wall in some domestic steel mills,the thickness of the metamorphic layer from slag penetration and the corrosion rate decrease evidently.The damage of dense bricks during service is mainly caused by the corrosion from molten steel and slag,and the structure spalling of the metamorphic layer also plays an important role.LUO Ming FANG Binxiang WEI Guoping LIU Guangping SHEN Mingke SONG Yanan 2022China's Refractories2022,31,2:0
8Effect of Various Alumina Powders on Properties of Castables显示文摘To satisfy the requirements of alumina castables in specific environment and enhance their properties,alumina castables were prepared using tabular alumina,various alumina powders(07RAL,15RA,22RABL,40CA,99-20um,and 99-325mesh),and calcium aluminate cement as main raw materials,and heat treating at 110,1000,1600℃,respectively.Their flowability and physical properties were tested,and the morphology was researched.The results show that compared with calcined alumina and tabular alumina powders,reactive alumina has higher specific surface area and better filling performance leading to lower water demand and higher viscosity,and the castables prepared with reactive alumina have higher CCS and CMOR after heat treating at 110,1000 and 1600℃as well as lower PLC than those with calcined alumina and tabular alumina powders.SONG Yanan WEI Guoping CHEN Qin SHUAI Hang LIU Guangping SHEN Mingke CHEN Yaosheng YU Yan WANG Yulong CAO Yaping 2022China's Refractories2022,31,2:0
9Ultra-fast synthesis and thermodynamic analysis of MoAlB by self-propagating high-temperature combustion synthesis显示文摘MoAlB as a typical member of MAB phases has attracted much-growing attention due to its unique properties.However,the low production of MoAlB powders limits its further development and potential applications.In the present work,the ultra-fast preparation of high-purity MoAlB powders in a few seconds is achieved by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis(SHS)using a raw powder mixture at an atomic ratio of Mo:Al:B=1:1.3:1.SHS reaction mechanism is obtained by analyzing the corresponding composition changes of starting materials.Furthermore,the thermodynamic prediction for the SHS reaction is consistent with the present experiments,where the preparation of MoAlB also conforms to two common self-propagating conditions of the SHS.The enthalpy vs.temperature curve shows that the adiabatic temperature of the reaction decreases with the amount of excuse Al increasing but increases when pre-heating the reactants.Also,this thermodynamic calculation provides a new idea for the preparation of other MAB phases by the SHS.Hang YIN Xiaodong HE Guangping SONG Yongdong YU Yongting ZHENG Yuelei BAI 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,2:0
10Synthesis of SiO_2@SiO_2 core-shell microspheres using urea-formaldehyde polymers as the templates for fast separation of small solutes and proteins显示文摘Superficially porous core-shell silica microspheres(CSSMs) have been a great success for the fast separation of small molecules and proteins in recent years. In this paper, the CSSMs were synthesized by an improved polymerization-induced colloid aggregation(PICA) method using urea-formaldehyde polymers as the templates. The agglomeration of the functionalized silica core was avoided by the surface modification through reflux with ureidopropyltrimethoxysilane in the neutral ethanol solution at 80℃,and the secondary nucleation of the silica nanoparticles during the preparation process could also be inhibited via the optimization of the reaction conditions, such as pH, temperature, colloidal silica sol concentration and the reaction time. The controllable shell thickness and pore size of the synthesized monodisperse CSSMs were successfully obtained by adjusting the weight ratio of silica core/colloidal silica sol and the particle size of colloidal silica sol, respectively. The C18-modified CSSMs with different pore sizes were used to separate small solutes and proteins. 11Theoretical screening,intrinsic brittleness and thermal properties of the S-containing MAX carbides and borides显示文摘To respond the recent experimental advances,the phase stability,mechanical properties,phonon as well as infrared-and Raman-active modes,thermal expansion and heat capacity were investigated by density functional theory for the S-containing MAX carbides and borides(M fromⅢB toⅧB),of importance,well consistent with the available experimental results.After examining the thermodynamic competition with all the competing phases and intrinsic stability by their lattice dynamics,18 MAX phases were screened out from 138 ones.Using the“bond stiffness”model as well as the associated criterion for damage tolerance and fracture toughness,the ratio of bond stiffness of weakest M-S to the strongest MX bonds(k_(min)/k_(max))over 1/2 indicates their intrinsic brittleness of all S-containing MAX phases except Nb4SC3.Including the contributions from phonon and electrons,their linear thermal expansion coefficients[(8.1e13.6)×10^(-6)K^(-1),300-1,300 K]and heat capacities(Cp)as a function of temperature are predicted.Of much interest,a well-established relationship between molar C_(p)of the MAX and MX phases is theoretically deduced in the present work.Zhiyao Lu Xiaodong He Hang Yin Jinze Zhang Guangping Song Yongting Zheng Yuelei Bai 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,6:0
12DFT-assisting discovery and characterization of a hexagonal MABphase V_(3)PB_(4)显示文摘A 314-type MAB phase V_(3)PB_(4)with hexagonal crystal structure is synthesized by self-propagating high temperature combustion synthesis(SHS),with the help of the full first-principles predictions for the phase stability and adiabatic combustion temperature of SHS.Using XRD and TEM,V_(3)PB_(4)crystallizes in the space group of P6m2,with the lattice parameters a?3.030Åand c=9.148Å,of much interest,well with the predicted one.Furthermore,the electronic structure,chemical bonding,and elastic properties of hex-V_(3)PB_(4)are predicted by first-principles.No bandgap around Fermi energy indicates its electronic conductor.And the strong covalent bonding is present between the B and V atoms with,significantly,much weaker V-P bond.With the help of the theoretical model of bond stiffness,the significantly high ratio of bond stiffness of weakest bonds to the strongest ones(0.873)of hex-V_(3)PB_(4)indicates its poor damage tolerance and fracture toughness.The high bond stiffness results in its high moduli in comparison with other MAB phases.As the number of inserted P atoms increases,the engineering elastic modulus decrease,without the price of an increase in density.Hang Yin Xiaodong He Jinze Zhang Guangping Song Yongting Zheng Yuelei Bai 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,6:0
13Distribution of nitric oxide synthase positive neurons in the substantia nigra of rats with liver cirrhosis显示文摘BACKGROUND: Nitrogen monoxide plays an important role in the physiological activity and pathological process of striatum in substantia nigra, and the nitric oxide synthase in substantia nigra may have characteristic changes after liver cirrhosis. OBJECTIVE: To observe the distribution and forms of nitric oxide synthase (NOS) positive neurons and fibers in substantia nigra of rats with liver cirrhosis. DESIGN: A comparative observational experiment. SETTINGS: Beijing Friendship Hospital; Capital Medical University. MATERIALS: Twenty 4-month-old male Wistar rats (120–150 g) of clean grade, were maintained in a 12-hour light/dark cycle at a constant temperature with free access to standard diet and water. Cryostat microtome (LEICA, Germany); All the reagents were purchased from Sigma Company. METHODS: The experiment was carried out in the Department of Anatomy (key laboratory of Beijing city), Capital Medical University from July 2000 to March 2002. The rats were randomly divided into normal group (n =10) and liver fibrosis group (n =10). Rats in the liver fibrosis group were subcutaneously injected with 60% CCl4 oil at a dose of 5 mL/kg for the first time, and 3 mL/kg for the next 14 times, twice a week, totally 15 times. Liver fibrosis of grades 5–6 was taken as successful models. Whereas rats in the normal group were not given any treatment. Four months after CCl4 treatment, all the rats were anesthetized to remove brain, and frontal frozen serial sections were prepared. The expressions of nitric oxide synthase positive neurons in substantia nigra of rats were observed under inverted microscope. The number and gray scale of cell body of nitric oxide synthase positive neurons in substantia nigra were detected with NADPH-diaphorase staining. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Number and gray scale of cell body of nitric oxide synthase positive neurons in substantia nigra; ② Expressions of nitric oxide synthase positive neurons in substantia nigra. RESULTS: All the 20 rats were involved in the analysis of results. ① The nitric oxide synthase positive neurons in substantia nigra were obviously fewer in the liver cirrhosis group than in the normal group (P < 0.01), and the gray scale of the positive cell body was higher in the liver cirrhosis group than in the normal group (P < 0.05). ② Abundant nitric oxide synthase positive neurons were observed in substantia nigra of normal rats, the cell body of nitric oxide synthase positive neurons was clear and transparent, with short own cloudy processes. In substantia nigra of rats with liver cirrhosis, the body of nitric oxide synthase positive neurons were observed shrink obviously, less fibrin than normal. CONCLUSION: Rats with liver cirrhosis may suffer from the physiological dysfunction of neurons due to lack of fibers.
